現在、名古屋では旧名古屋ボストン美術館にて『バンクシー　天才か反逆者か』展が開催されています。

２０２１年２月３日から始まったこの展示も、名古屋で見られるのは６月２０日まで。

残すところあと９日ということです。

先日、私も遅ればせながらそちらに行って参りました。

 

 

事前にインターネットで日時指定チケットを購入していったほうがいくらか安くなるということで、当日の朝それを購入し、会場に向かいました。会場では人気の美術展とあってなかなかの混み具合です。また、お若い方が多いのかと思いきや、ご年配の方もたくさんいらっしゃって、みなさんがバンクシーの作品を食い入るように見つめていました。時代だなぁと感心したのが、皆さんご自分のイヤホンを耳に、何かを熱心に聞いています。どうやら無料の音声ガイドがあり、それがなんと、携帯電話から専用のアプリを入れると簡単に聞けるのだそうです。私も途中からダウンロードし、聞きながら進みました。作品は、かなりの数があり、見ごたえがありました。でも、進んでいくうちにバンクシーについて自分は何も知らなかったんだとわかりました。

 

 

バンクシーはイギリスを拠点に活動する匿名のグラフィックアーティストで、世界中のストリート、壁、橋などを舞台に神出鬼没に活動することでご存じかと思います。匿名というところがまた、世界で最も注目される理由ではありますが、それだけではなく、彼のすごいところは、世の中をモニターし、その中から誰もが興味を持つ出来事を取り上げ、彼独特の方法で起きている問題の深刻さを提示するところです。そうすることで、私達が考え、注意を払い、行動に移すように促すのです。なかでも私が興味深く見て回ったのが、彼の半消費主義のテーマの作品たちでした。

「人生の真の価値は、あちこちからやってくる大量のマーケティング情報に取って代わられ、時として恐怖となる。なぜなら、私たちの周りにあるものの多くがうそっぱちだからだ。資本主義システムは、常により多くのものを買うことで、内なる空虚さと孤独感という主観的な感覚を埋めるように私たちを促す。こうして私たちは、最後には自由を奪われてしまう。はたしてそれで幸せになれるのだそうか。」

本当にそうだと思います。私ができることは、まず自分の身の回りを整え、心までも物に支配されないよう、整えていかなければいけないな、と考えました。本当に必要な物って、それほど多くはないことも知っています。少ない物を大切に持つことで豊かな暮らしをしたいものだと思いました。

 

 

 

『ガール　ウィズ　バルーン』という作品は彼を代表する作品のひとつですが、この絵は最初、ロンドンのサウス・バングの階段下の壁に描かれていました。ハート形の風船を手放そうとしている少女の絵です。飛んでいくこの風船に喪失感を感じる人がいれば、自由を感じる人もいます。後に誰かが「いつだって希望はある」という言葉を書き加えたようです。このように一部では、この少女は希望のシンボルになり、のちにいくつかの場所でバンクシーはこの絵を描きました。そしてあの有名な出来事が起こります。

２０１８年１０月５日。ロンドンのサザビーズのオークション会場で、この『ガール　ウィズ　バルーン』という作品がその日一番の高値どころか、バンクシー自身が打ち立てた最高記録と同じ１０４万ポンドで値がついた直後に額縁に仕掛けられたシュレッダーによってキャンバスが切り刻まれてしまった事件です。あれは、バンクシー自身が起こした、美術史上もっとも大胆不敵といっていいような悪ふざけだったようです。

何度も何度もシミュレーションを重ね、当日、落札のハンマーが打ち下ろされた瞬間に、スイッチを押した。自身のインスタグラムでも「リハーサルでは毎回うまくいったのに…。」というメッセージを残しています。「シュレッダー事件」と呼ばれるこのエピソードは「美術史においてライブ・オークション中に作られた初の作品」といわれるようになり、後日、切り裂かれた作品は『ラブ　イズ　イン　ザ　ビン（愛はごみ箱の中に）』とバンクシー自身に名付けられたようです。

 

 

「これは芸術なのだろうか。何が芸術と見なされるのだろうか。」

彼自身も幾度となく自問したこの疑問は、私たち鑑賞者にも突き付けられているようです。そして彼を天才と呼ぶのか、反逆者と呼ぶのか。展覧会の最後で投票するコーナーがありました。私は私の意見を投票してきました。皆さんはどう思われますか。

Banksy is an anonymous graphic artist based in the United Kingdom, set in streets, walls and bridges around the world.

The work “Girl with His Balloon” is one of his representative works, but this painting was first made in London’s South Bang.

It was drawn on the wall under the stairs. A picture of a girl trying to let go of a heart-shaped balloon. Feeling lost in these flying balloons

Some people feel it, others feel freedom. It seems that someone later added the words, “There is always hope.”

Thus, in part, this girl became a symbol of hope, and later in some places Banksy painted this picture.

And that famous event happens.

The canvas was chopped by a shredder set on his picture frame.

本日も日差しが強く、６月とは思えない暑さが続いております。

夏本番に向け、真夏日・猛暑日が増えていきますね。

そんな時期は無理をなさらず、おうちで未開拓ジャンルの読書などいかがでしょう。

 

読書家の方は、常に読み進めているものをすぐ手元にお持ちだったりしますね。

外でのお酒の席に、かばんは持ってこないけどむき出しの本を１冊だけ手に持ち、待ち合わせ場所の道で読んでいる…

そういう無類の本好きの方もいらっしゃいます。（それ、私の知り合いです。笑）

今日は「困難を乗り越える１冊」というタイトル記事からのご紹介です。

どの年代の方でも、読書があまり得意ではない方の中には ”何を読んだらいいのかわからない” という場合もあるかと思います。

特に、１０代の方々は迷ってしまうことも多いかもしれません。

その年のころの子を持つ親であれば、本を読んで欲しいと願う方も多いはずです。

読書によって知識を増やし、多くを感じ、喜怒哀楽の表現も自由に…世界を広げてくれればと。

そしてそこから様々な実体験を増やしていけたら、本が後押しする力ってすごいと思うのですが。

 

今年で７回目となるある新聞社の『君に贈る本大賞（キミ本大賞）』という文学賞をご存じでしょうか。

”生涯の１冊” と出会う道しるべにしてほしい__「中高生に贈る一冊」にそんな願いが込められた賞であります。

賞の審査員に特徴があり、学生さんの身近な大人である中学・高校の先生方にアンケート形式で選んでもらっているそう。

 

毎年異なるテーマから選出され、例えば過去の〈泣ける本〉の回での受賞作は、

大賞　　ダニエル・キイス『アルジャーノンに花束を』

第２位　三浦綾子『塩狩峠』

第３位　東野圭吾『手紙』

であります。

 

３作品とも読了歴のあるスタッフ I でありますが、（特に『塩狩峠』は高校生だったので）正直、簡単なことにも涙もろくなった今の歳の方が泣けてしょうがないかもしれません(笑)。

読む時期によって目線や感じ取り方が違ってて、それもまた良しと言いますもんね。

 

〈２１世紀を生きる１０代へ〉の回では、

大賞　　『君たちはどう生きるか』吉野源三郎

第３位　『蜜蜂と遠雷』恩田陸

 

大賞作品、我が家にもあります。1937年に出版されて以来数多くの人に読み継がれてきた名作です。

現在ではマンガの形で蘇り、あらゆる年代の方々で手にしたであろう、まさに時代を超えた名著であります。

勇気・いじめ・貧困・格差・教養… 昔も今も変わらない人生のテーマに真摯に向き合う主人公とその叔父さん。

人間としてどう生きればいいのか、楽しく読んでいるうちに自然と考えるように書かれたというこの作品は、 二人の姿勢に、生き方の指針となる言葉が数多く示されています。

自分になにか問題が起こった時には、バイブル的存在として手元に置き、この二人に意見を求めてみてもいいかもしれません。

 

宝物のような本『星の王子さま』は大人の方でも１番のお気に入りにあげる方が多いですね。

あの表紙絵から始まるあったかーい感じはなんでしょう…個人的にも殿堂入りでございます。

 

回は変わり、水野敬也氏の大人気シリーズ『夢をかなえるゾウ』は〈元気をくれる本〉の大賞です。

「夢は持った方がいい」という考え方がある一方、「夢を手放すことも必要」だと語る著者。

「自分、今の生き方やったら死ぬときめっちゃ後悔するで。」

「お前なぁ、このままやと2000％成功でけへんで。」

などと常に上から目線のゾウのガネーシャ（ここでは謎の生物？）が、笑わせながらもズバッと的確に指南してくるのです。

”現代多くの人が生きづらさを抱える中で、こうあるべき！と思っていた固定概念を崩す”

ごく平凡なサラリーマンが自らの人生を変えていく物語は、学生さんにもサクサク読み進めていけるシリーズだと思います。

 

そして今年のテーマは「困難を乗り越える」。

大賞は『ぼくはイエローでホワイトで、ちょっとブルー』ブレイディみかこさんの作品であります。

”一生モノの課題図書” の帯が目を引く、2019年の刊行よりなにかと話題になった一冊ですね。

著者の息子さんの中学校生活を題材に、いじめもけんかもある”元底辺校”で貧困家庭の子どもと仲良くなったり、人種差別を目の当たりにしたりと、さまざまな問題を抱えているという内容。

みかこさんのインタビュー記事より__

「困難って、そう簡単に乗り越えられないと思います。背景が異なる人たちが集まるところには、必ず分断はあるんです。だから私は、困難は乗り越えるものではなく、”乗りこなす”ものだと思っています。１０代の時から「困難だ」と思っていたことは、いまだに解消していません。乗り越えてはいませんが、見方や対処の仕方を変えることで乗りこなせるようになっていく。だから皆さんには「乗り越えようと自分を追い詰めず、楽に生きたらいいよ！」って伝えたいです。」

ハッとさせられますよね。

いつも決まった地域だけにいたら知らずに過ぎていたことも、この本をきっかけに格差や多様性などの政治的・社会的な問題も分かりやすく知ることができます。

そしてそこで関心を持ったことを詳しく調べてみると、また新たな自分の考えや視点が生まれてくるはずです。

これからを担う学生さんたちには特に、こういった新しい世界を感じてほしいなと思います。

もちろん大人の方にもおすすめです。

お子さんやお孫さんがいらっしゃる方は、ご自分で読まれた後、さりげなくテーブルに置いておくのも◎！

 

若い方たちに人気のライトノベルや携帯小説といった類いの小説を楽しむもよし、ときには時代に選ばれてきた名著を覗いてみるもよし。

その時の状況や気分で気軽に読書をしてみるのは、思ってもみない心ズキュンと打たれる経験ができたりするので、面白いものです。

読書のおともに、古伊万里に添えられたスイーツがあればなおいいなぁ。

全国の皆さまも皆様ご存じかと思いますが、名古屋の夏は…とても暑いんです。先日から、早くも30度を超える真夏日を迎えております。そろそろ真夏日を越える暑さとなろう地区もあるかと思いますので、みなさま、暑さにだんだんと身体を慣らして、水分補給、休息など対処し、熱中症にはくれぐれもお気を付けください。

 

朝から暑い日でしたが、今日、お仕事の通り道で「建中寺」の横を通りかかりました。そういえば、数か月前に名古屋のおすすめスポットとして、「徳川園・徳川美術館」をご紹介したにもかかわらず、「建中寺」は、紹介していませんでしましたね。申し訳ございません。

ということで、本日は、「建中寺」のご紹介を致します。

 

 

こちらの「建中寺」は、その「徳川園・徳川美術館」のご近所、尾張徳川家の菩提寺として有名なお寺さんです。建中寺のございます名古屋市東区界隈は尾張藩主の家臣の武家屋敷が多くあった地区であり、その地区のなかでも大きく位置するのが建中寺です。現在の建中寺の敷地は1万坪と、現在でも大きな寺院なのですが、昔は約5万坪(165,000㎡)もの広さを誇っていたそうです。近くにある東海中学高等学校、あずま中学、筒井小学校までもが建中寺の敷地だったそうで、だからでしょうか、学校の一部は古い樹木が残っていたり、当時の塀の部分が残っていたりして、当時の建中寺の風格をまさに垣間見ることが出来る箇所が所々にあります。また戦災後、総門と三門の間を旧観の一部を公園とし、現在は区民がゆったりと過ごす憩いのスペースとなっており、私もそこで、小休止させてきただきました。

 

 

建中寺は、初代尾張藩主・徳川義直の菩提を弔うため、徳川家先祖代々の菩提寺として、慶慶安4年(1651年)に、第2代尾張藩主・徳川光友が建立し、弘経寺(茨城県結城市)の成誉廓呑じょうよかくどん上人を招いて開山したとされています。天明年の大火災において多くの建築が焼失しましたが、総門、三門、本尊・釈迦如来などは戦火をくぐり抜け現在もその姿を偲ぶごとができます。

 

境内の徳川家霊廟は県指定有形文化財、総門、三門、鐘楼、御成門・本堂・経蔵・開山堂・源正公廟は市指定有形文化財、徳興殿は国登録有形文化財となっており、その作りはどれも漆塗、内外彩色を施して華やかな装飾と尾張徳川家の独特の威厳がすごい。また、同じ尾張徳川家だからでしょうか、どこか大樹寺（岡崎市・徳川将軍家の菩提寺)を彷彿させる雰囲気がありますよね。お時間のございます方、両御寺共にその佇まいたるや素晴らしいので、両御寺制覇もよいかと思います。

 

また、同じ境内にあります不動堂の本尊・不動明王は、江戸時代から尾張徳川家の戦勝祈願の秘仏とて祀られてており、その本堂の柱には、江戸の宮大工が動物・植物・縁起物などをかたどって、デザイン的に柱を手当てした「埋木細工」が残っています。境内掲示によると、要財にゆとりがなかったため、こうした手当てが施されたとのこと。蝙蝠、桜、葡萄、将棋、扇、小判、宝珠、桔梗、空蝉、葵、四宝、銀杏、猪目…。職人さんの技や洒落気に、思わずくすっと笑えます。

 

そういえば、わたくし思い出したのですが、前日のInstagramにて古美術風光舎名古屋店のごさいます超ご近所の城山地区に、徳川義直の母相応院おかめの方の菩提寺、相応寺がありますとご紹介いたしました。

というとこは、当店、古美術風光舎名古屋店も当時の尾張徳川家の歴史の包囲網の中にあるのでしょうか。ふと、思いまして古地図歴史的検証(勝手に）熱がまた発動してきました。大なり小なり何か発見がございましたら、またご報告いたします。

So, today, I would like to introduce “Kenchuji Temple”.

This “Kenchuji Temple” is a famous temple as the family temple of the Owari Tokugawa family, which is the neighborhood of the “Tokugawaen / Tokugawa Art Museum”. The area where Kenchuji Temple is located in Higashi-ku, Nagoya City is the area where many samurai residences of the vassals of the Owari feudal lord were located, and Kenchuji Temple is located in the largest area. The current site of Kenchuji Temple is 10,000 tsubo, which is still a large temple, but in the past it was said to have boasted an area of ​​about 50,000 tsubo (165,000 m2). It seems that the nearby Tokai Junior and Senior High School, Azuma Junior High School, and even Tsutsui Elementary School were the sites of Kenchuji Temple. Maybe that’s why some of the schools have old trees and walls at that time. There is a place where you can get a glimpse of the style of Kenchuji Temple at that time. In addition, after the war, a part of the old view was made into a park between Somon and Sanmon, and now it is a relaxing space for the inhabitants of the ward. I also took a short break there.

Kenchuji Temple was built by the second Owari feudal lord, Tokugawa Mitsutomo, in 1651 as a bodhisattva temple of the Tokugawa family’s ancestors to mourn the bodhisattva of the first Owari feudal lord, Yoshinao Tokugawa. It is said that the mountain was opened by inviting a superior of the temple (Yuki City, Ibaraki Prefecture). Many buildings were destroyed by the great fire of the Tenmei era, but the Somon, Sanmon, and the principal idol, Shaka Nyorai, have survived the war and can still be remembered today.

The Tokugawa family mausoleum in the precincts is a prefecture-designated tangible cultural property, Somon, Sanmon, Bell Tower, Onarimon, Main Hall, Keizo, Kaizan-do, Gensho Kotou are city-designated tangible cultural properties, and Tokukoden is a nationally registered tangible cultural property. I will. All of them are lacquered, painted inside and outside, and the gorgeous decoration and the unique dignity of the Owari Tokugawa family are amazing. In addition, the principal image of Fudodo, Fudo Myo, which is located in the same precincts, has been enshrined as a secret Buddha of the Owari-Tokugawa family’s prayer for victory since the Edo period. In the shape of such things, there is still a “buried woodwork” that has been designed with pillars. According to the bulletin board in the precincts, such treatment was given because there was not enough room for the necessary items. Bats, cherry blossoms, grapes, shogi, fans, oval, jewels, bellflowers, sky bats, aoi, four treasures, ginkgo, inome … You can laugh at the craftsman’s skill and fashion.

Speaking of which, I remembered that on Instagram the day before, there was a family temple, Sooji Temple, for Yoshinao Tokugawa’s mother, Sooin, in the super-neighborhood Shiroyama district of the antique art Fuyuhime Nagoya store. I introduced it.

一見、脇役のようですが、個人的にはお料理とうつわのW主演があってこそのひとつの完成品だと思っています。

器つながりで…今日は７月並みの気温ということで、イメージだけでも涼しくしようと江戸切子が思い浮かべました。

厚いガラス地に伝統文様をたっぷり彫り込んだ、カット技術もデザイン性も世界的に高い評価を得た手工芸品です。

江戸時代の天保５（1834）年、各種の問屋が軒を並べてにぎわった江戸の大伝馬町（現在の日本橋大伝馬町あたり）のビロード屋が、金剛砂でガラスの表面を彫刻したのがはじまりという江戸切子。

明治になるとイギリスのカットガラスから技術を学び、江戸切子の工芸技法は確立されたと言われています。

代表的なカットには、麻の葉に籠目・亀甲に七宝・菊花に魚子（ななこ）…と日本の伝統文様の名が連なります。

きものの江戸小紋のようとされていますが、どちらも江戸時代の江戸の町で生まれたもので、これらの文様もさまざまな江戸の産物に使用されたとのこと。

江戸切子の伝統の技法は現在も継承されていますが、そこに新たな技術や感性も見いだされているようです。

作家さんごとに熱烈なファンの方もいるそうで。

色鮮やかで涼し気な見た目は、日本の夏にぴったり！冷酒が飲みたくなりました笑。

 

ここ名古屋には歴史ある料亭がいくつかあります。

名古屋城から徳川園周辺は、貴重な建築遺産や街並みの保存が進んでいる地域でもあります。

本日のブログは、いつもと趣向を変えまして、クイズから参ります。

この壺に描かれているのは何という花でしょうか？

こちらの壺は、明治の初め頃にヨーロッパに輸出された七宝焼で、それが里帰りし、現在は風光舎名古屋店にございます。白鷺の傍の水辺に群生して咲いている、この花の名前をお答えください！

 

 

お花に詳しい方は一瞬でお分かりになりましたよね。尊敬します！でも、私は「あやめ？菖蒲（しょうぶ）？杜若（かきつばた）？」とわかりません。おそらくこの三つの花で迷われている方も多いのではないでしょうか。わからないことがあると調べてみないと気が済まない性分の私は、さっそく三つの花の違いを調べてみました。見分けるポイントは３つあるようです。

 

１つ目は、花びらの付け根の違いに注目します。あやめは網目状の模様、菖蒲は黄色い模様、杜若は白くスーっと筋が入っているのが特徴です。これでおおかた予想がつきましたね。しかし、念には念を、ということで、２つ目のポイントにも注目してみます。二つ目は、育つ場所の違いです。あやめだけは意外にも陸地で育つそうですが、杜若は水を好むので池や沼地という常に水のある場所で育つようです。では菖蒲はというと、あやめと杜若の中間地の水辺だそうです。水の流れに沿うように群生して咲く菖蒲をご覧になったことはありませんか。全国にも、有名な菖蒲園がございますよね。そんなわけで、黄色い模様で水辺に群生しているこの花の名前は、「菖蒲」だと思われます！すみません、クイズにしたのに、答えが私の推察でしかないということをお許しください。

 

ちなみに、ご近所で咲いているこれらを見分けようとしたら、咲く時期にも注目されるといいそうです。それが３つ目のポイントですが、咲く順番に言うと、杜若が５月中旬、あやめが５月中旬から下旬、菖蒲が６月から７月中旬です。杜若やあやめは、新緑が茂る、夏の気配が漂い始める頃の一瞬なのに対し、菖蒲は梅雨の雨の多い時期に１ヵ月くらい長く咲くのも特徴のようです。そのような菖蒲は日本人の美意識に合い、古くから愛されてきました。江戸時代から改良が重ねられ、花の色は白、桃、紫、青、黄など多数あるようです。また形の違いなどの組み合わせを含めると、今では５０００種類くらいあるということです。

杜若も同じように古くから愛されてきました。在原業平が「から衣　きつつなれにし　つましあれば　はるばる来ぬる　たびをしぞ思ふ」とそれぞれの句の頭文字をとると「かきつばた」にになるように詠んだ和歌はあまりにも有名です。すっきりとして上品な雰囲気のただよう杜若を、昔の歌人たちは愛する女性に例えて歌に詠みました。また日本画にもよく描かれました。特に有名な画で言えば、尾形光琳の『燕子花屏風』（国宝）ですよね。美術の教科書で日本人なら必ず見る絵画の一つです。私もいつかは本物を見に、根津美術館に行ってみたいと思っています。

 

 

日本には「いずれあやめか杜若」という言葉がありまして、どちらも優れていて優劣をつけがたく、選択に迷うことの例えとして使われています。このように、七宝焼の壺に描かれた花が「あやめか、菖蒲か、杜若か」はわからなかったけれども、この作品のとても美しいことや、すばらしく芸が細かく繊細であることはわかりました。それはずっと飽きずに見ていられるほどです。きっと、明治時代にヨーッパに輸出された時、同じようにようにヨーロッパの人たちも感じたことでしょう。何人の方の手に渡ったかも今となってはわかりませんが、大切に大切に扱われたからこそ、日本に里帰りできたのだと思います。様々な歴史を見つめ続けてきたこの七宝焼きの壺を、是非ご覧になりませんか。風光舎名古屋店で待っています。御機嫌よう。　（スタッフM）

Those who are familiar with flowers can understand it in an instant. Respect to you! But I don’t understand “Ayame? Iris? Kakitsubata?” Perhaps many people are confused by these three flowers. I can’t help but find out what I don’t understand, so I immediately investigated the difference between the three flowers. There seem to be three points to distinguish.

 

The first is to pay attention to the difference in the base of the petals. The iris has a mesh-like pattern, the iris has a yellow pattern, and the iris has a white and smooth streak. This is a good idea. However, just in case, let’s pay attention to the second point. The second is the difference in where they grow up. It seems that only Ayame grows on land, but Kakitubata likes water, so she seems to grow in ponds and swamps where there is always water. Then, the iris is said to be the waterside between Ayame and Kakitubata. Have you ever seen irises blooming in clusters along the flow of water? The clean and elegant atmosphere of Kakitubata was compared to a beloved woman by old poets. It was also often drawn in Japanese paintings. Speaking of a particularly famous painting, it is Ogata Korin’s “Irises Screen” (national treasure). It is one of the paintings that Japanese people always see in art textbooks. I would like to go to the Nezu Museum to see the real thing someday.

ここ、古美術風光舎のございます名古屋市も、雨交じりの曇り空。梅雨中盤といったところでしょうか。皆さまの地区はどんなお天気模様でしょうか。

今日は、何の脈絡もないブログなのですが、少しだけお付き合いくださいね。

 

 

 

先日、感染に気を付けながら、友人と映画鑑賞へ行って参りました。その関係者の方にとっては大変残念なことといいましょうか、鑑賞するほうとしては安心したといいましょうか、ゆったりとした観客数の中での鑑賞できたのですが、とても良い作品でした。

 

その作品とは、「HOKUSAI」。

 

 

 

当店きっての映画通、スタッフIさんが、先だってブログに掲載しておりました「葛飾北斎」の生涯を描いた作品です。

北斎の画狂の生涯を4部構成で描いた作品なのですが、もちろん娘の「応為」も登場しております。スタッフIさんの深掘りの調査のとおりの男勝りの出戻り娘として、たくさんのお弟子さんと師匠の父の間を束ね、奮闘するかっこいい女性として描かれておりました。

 

変わり者、いやいや天才の北斎は、画との葛藤や挫折、人とのぶつかりが殊の外多かったのでしょうか、その執念が画に向かう姿とともに伝わってきます。ですがこの作品は、とにもかくにも画描きの生涯がテーマだけに、とにかくどの画面も映像が美しかったのが私のまずの感想。

 

北斎といえば、富嶽三十六景の「神奈川沖波裏」や、「凱風快晴」などの富士を描いた作品が多いのですが、富士や波との出会い、吉原の遊郭の華やかな座敷、どの場面を切り取っても文字通り「画」になります。ことに波の「青」に込める情景を俳優で舞踏家の田中泯さんが、まさに北斎が憑依したかのような演技で、その表現がいまでも脳裏に焼き付いております。

 

テンポも良い作品なので、北斎が90余年のその生涯の紆余曲折を一気に駆け抜けた様子も上手く描かれておりましたが、華やかな画を追っていくだけでもあっという間に2時間がたった作品でした。

 

実は「HOKUSAI」、この映画は友人が誘ってくれ、北斎の予習なしでの参戦をしたスタッフY。

映画の最新作には疎いゆえにお勧められたものは映画に限らず、ひとまずどんな作品も参戦することにしています。これは、本当にありがたいことと思っており、なぜなら、私の知らない分野、映画、文学作品、はたまた漫画、スポット…。私の知らない世界に導てくれ、私のワールドを広げくれる沢山の引き出しを持った宝箱のような存在なのですから、私も引き出しを増やしていけそうな気がしてならないのです。

一人で様々な世界を広げていくには限界がありますし、とにもかくにも、どうも好きなものに偏りがち。そんな時自分が知らなかったり、まだ興味のなかった世界にひとまずは身を投じる機会をもらえるとはありがたいことだなと。意外と面白かったり、感動したり、新たな発見があったり、自分が知らないことって多いなぁと、日々痛感したりもしています。故に、宝箱の友人には大変感謝です。

 

とまぁ、北斎のような「劇的」な生涯にはなりませんが、凡人Ｙが知らなかった界隈をたとえつまみ食いだったとしても、覗いてみることで「劇的風」な生涯になりうるのではないかと、日々いろいろ首を突っ込んでいる次第です。

The work is “HOKUSAI”.

 

This is a work that depicts the life of “Katsushika Hokusai”, which was posted on the blog earlier by Mr. I, a staff member of our movie enthusiast.

It is a work that depicts the life of Hokusai’s painting enthusiast in four parts, but of course the daughter’s “Oi” has also appeared. According to the deep investigation of Staff I, he was portrayed as a cool woman who struggles with many disciples and his master’s father as a manly return daughter.

Hokusai, a stranger, no, a genius, may have had a lot of conflicts and setbacks with paintings, and collisions with people. However, my first impression of this work was that the theme was only the life of the painter, and the images on all screens were beautiful.

 

Speaking of Hokusai, there are many works depicting Mt. Fuji such as “Kanagawa Oki Namiura” and “Fine Wind, Clear Morning” of the 36 views of Tomitake. Even if you cut out the scene, it will literally become a “picture”. In particular, Min Tanaka, an actor and butoh dancer, expresses the scene in the “blue” of the waves as if Hokusai had possessed it. It’s a work with a good tempo, so it was well drawn that Hokusai ran through the twists and turns of his life for more than 90 years, but it was a work that took two hours in a blink of an eye just to follow the gorgeous picture. ..

Well, I’ve been watching a movie, but in fact, a friend invited me to this movie, and Staff Y participated in the war without Hokusai’s preparation.

Since I am not familiar with the latest movies, the ones recommended are not limited to movies, but for the time being I will participate in any movie. I really appreciate this. Fields I don’t know, movies, literary works, comics, spots … It’s like a treasure chest with many drawers that guides the world I don’t have and expands my world, so I shouldn’t feel like I can increase the number of drawers.

There is a limit to expanding various worlds by myself, and I recently realized that I tend to be biased toward what I like, and at that time I became a world I didn’t know or wasn’t interested in yet. For the time being, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to throw myself in. Every day, I am keenly aware that it is surprisingly interesting, impressed, new discoveries, and many things I do not know. Therefore, I am very grateful to my friends in the treasure chest.

It will not be a “dramatic” life like Hokusai, but even if it is a pinch-eating neighborhood that ordinary person Y did not know, it can not be a “dramatic” life by looking into it. I’m digging into my neck every day. So, today, I will go back and read the recommended book.

こんにちは、スタッフTです。

 

 

先日、豊田市美術館に行ってきました。

今回見にいったのは「ボイス+パレルモ」展です。

実はこの展覧会を見に行くのは２回目になります。個人的に展覧会などは１回では足りないと感じることがあるので、時間があれば２回ほど見ます。（映画館でも同じ作品を何度も見てしまうタイプです…）

「ボイス+パレルモ」展はボイスが２０２２年に生誕１００年を迎えることを記念するために開かれた展覧会です。この展覧会、個人的には面白く画集も買ってしまいました。写真撮影が禁止だったので、このブログに写真を載せることはできませんが、少しこの展覧会の話をして面白さが伝わればなと思います。

 

正直言って、ヨーゼフ・ボイスの作品は一見難しく何が何なのか分かりません。置いてある作品をじっくりまじまじと見て楽しめるようなものではないと思います。鑑賞して楽しむというより、なぜその作品があるのか鑑賞者側が頭を使い考えるような作品です。

少し難しいので、わたしが特に面白いと思ったボイスの人柄がわかるような出来事を話しますね。

 

ボイスはデュッセルドルフ芸術アカデミーの教授でもありました。デュッセルドルフ芸術アカデミーは定員制です。しかし、ボイスは自分のクラスは入りたいものすべてに対して開かれるべきと考え、大学定員制のため入れなかった学生をすべて自分のクラスに受け入れました。もちろん大学側から許可は下りていません。

現代の日本の芸術大学で例えると、定員制限がだいたい２０人で受験希望者が２００人ほどです。その２００人を全員受け入れた状態ということになります。ある意味、芸術を行う権利は全員にあるということを形にしたという感じでしょうか…。

もちろん大学側がそのようなことを許可できるはずもなく、ボイスは教授職を解雇されてしまいました。

しかし、ボイスを解雇したことに対する学生の抗議が行われ裁判なども開かれ、結果教授職には戻れませんでしたが、かつての教室をそのまま利用することは許可されました。

 

この話をふまえてですが、ボイスは「社会彫刻」という概念を生み出しました。

社会を彫刻と捉えていました。彫刻や芸術の概念を社会にも拡張していたのです。

先程の大学の定員制の話もその一部です。ボイスの社会活動や政治活動は賛否両論ですが、その後の芸術のあり方に大きな影響を与えたことは間違いありません。

ボイス自身も２０世紀を代表する芸術家ですが、彼の講座や彼の授業を受けた生徒の中からも多くの注目すべき芸術家が現われました。この展覧会でボイスと一緒に作品が展示してあるパレルモもそのうちの一人です。

パレルモもボイスの教え子であり、ボイスはパレルモを自身にもっとも近い表現者だったと認めています。そんな２人の作品を同時に見ることができる展覧会です。

 

ちなみにコレクション展も見てきました。コレクション展は写真撮影が可能だったので、気に入った作品を１つ撮ってきました。

 

 

ヴォルフガング・ライプ「ミルクストーン」です。

一見ただの白い長方形ですが、これは白い大理石の表面に牛乳が一面を膜が張っています。

とてもシンプルで個人的には好きです。大理石の縁をよく見ると、しっかりと牛乳！！とてもドキドキしました。

This time I went to see the “Voice + Palermo” exhibition.

Actually, this is my second time to go to see this exhibition. Personally, I sometimes feel that one exhibition is not enough, so if I have time, I will watch it twice. (It’s the type that you see the same work many times in the movie theater …)

The “Voice + Palermo” exhibition was held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Voice’s birth in 2022.

I personally bought an art book for this exhibition. I can’t post photos on this blog because photography was prohibited, but I hope I can tell you a little bit about this exhibition.

 

To be honest, Joseph Beuys’ work is seemingly difficult and I don’t know what it is. I don’t think it’s something that you can enjoy looking at the works that are placed. Rather than appreciating and enjoying it, it is a work that the viewer uses his or her head to think about why the work exists.

It’s a little difficult, so I’ll talk about an event that reveals the personality of the voice that I found particularly interesting.

 

Boyce was also a professor at the Düsseldorf Academy of Arts. The Düsseldorf Academy of Arts has a capacity. However, Boyce thought that his class should be open to everything he wanted to enter, and accepted all students who couldn’t enter because of the university capacity system. Of course, no permission has been given by the university.

If you compare it to a modern Japanese art university, the capacity limit is about 20 and the number of applicants for the exam is about 200. It means that all 200 people have been accepted. In a sense, it feels like everyone has the right to do art …

Of course, the university couldn’t allow such a thing, and Boyce was dismissed from his professorship.

However, students protested against the dismissal of Voice, and trials were held. As a result, he was not able to return to his professorship, but he was allowed to use the former classroom as it was.

 

Based on this story, Voice created the concept of “social sculpture.”

He saw society as a sculpture. He extended the concept of sculpture and art to society.

Part of that is the story of the university’s capacity system. Voice’s social and political activities are controversial, but there is no doubt that he has had a great influence on his subsequent artistic style.

Boyce himself is one of the leading artists of the 20th century, but many notable artists have emerged from his lectures and the students who took his lessons. Palermo, whose work is exhibited with Voice at this exhibition, is one of them.

Palermo was also a student of Voyce, and Bois admitted that Palermo was the closest artist to himself. This is an exhibition where you can see the works of these two people at the same time.

 

By the way, I also saw the collection exhibition. Since it was possible to take pictures at the collection exhibition, I took one of my favorite works.

 

Wolfgang Laib “Milk Stone”.

At first glance, it’s just a white rectangle, but it’s a white marble surface covered with milk.

It’s very simple and I personally like it. If you look closely at the edge of the marble, you can see that it’s milk! !! I was very excited.

日本では昔、六月は水無月と言っていました。

梅雨の季節なのに、なんで水が無い月なの？と以前から疑問に思っていたスタッフMです。

 

 

調べてみると、「水の無い月」と書きますが、水が無いわけではなかったようです。

水無月の「無（な）」は、「神無月（かんなづき）」の「な」と同じく、「の」にあたる

連体助詞「な」で、「水の月」という意味なのだそうです。

諸説ありますが、「水の月」に由来する説の中には、田に水を引く時期にあたることからとする説や、

梅雨の時期になることからという説があるそうです。

 

 

水無月といえば、神社では大きな行事がございます。

それが、「水無月の大祓（みなづきのおおはらえ）」です。我が家にも神社からその案内が送られてきました。

それによると、私たちは普段生活をしているなかで、知らず知らずのうちに心身の罪や穢れ、

過ちなどが溜まってきます。

どんなに聖人君主であっても、「この半年間一度も嘘をついたことがありません」という方は

いらっしゃらないですよね。

そういった小さな罪が溜まってくると、清らかな気持ちで日々生活を送れなくなってくるようなのです。

だから、とりあえず、半年間ごとに罪や穢れをまとめて清めましょう！というのが大祓で、

水無月（６月）と師走（１２月）に執り行われます。

 

そういえばスタッフMも罪穢れに関してはたくさん心当たりが…。

例えば、人から頂いた美味しいお土産を、旦那さんに内緒で息子と私だけでこっそり

食べきってしまい、焦った私たちは初めからそんな物は無かったことにしようと

証拠隠滅してしまったことがあったり。

これは、私だけでなく、息子にも罪を背負わせてしまっていますね。いけない母です。(笑)

他にも、まだ１０分以上かかる場所から「もうすぐ着きます！」とメールしてみたり。

そうやって考えると私は罪や穢れだらけです。反省です…。

みなさんはいかがですか？

 

 

でもね、安心してください！

古事記にもありますが、神さまだって罪や穢れを背負うようなことをたくさん起こしています。

かの有名なイザナギの神様もそうです。大好きだった奥さんのイザナミさんが亡くなり、

寂しさゆえに絶対に行ってはいけないと言われていた黄泉の国に足を踏み入れてしまいました。

そこで絶対に見てはいけないと言われていたイザナミさんの今の姿を見てしまい、

あんなにきれいだった奥さんの腐敗した姿に恐怖を感じ、命からがら逃げ帰ってきました。

黄泉の国は死の国なので、そこの穢れを持ってくるわけにはいきません。

そこで、禊祓（みそぎはらえ）が出てくるのです。

「禊」は水で身を清める行為であり、「祓」は身の穢れをはらうために神に祈る行為です。

それを、筑紫の日向の橘の小戸の阿波岐原で行うと、そこから様々な神様が生まれました。

有名なのが天照大神（アマテラスオオミカミ）や月読命（ツクヨミノミコト）、

須佐之男命（スサノオノミコト）などです。

禊をしてすっきりするだけでなく、新たに生み出されるものもあったのですね。

この禊祓を起源として始まったのが大祓で、宮中においても古くから行われてきたようです。

 

 

 

 

風光舎　名古屋店のすぐ裏手にある『城山八幡宮』でも水無月の大祓を執り行ってくださいます。

具体的に大祓ってどういうことをやるのかというと、紙の人形（ひとがた）に氏名と年齢を書き、

人形で自身の頭から足先までなで、自分の息を三度吹きかけ、身についた穢れを人形に移します。

それを６月２９日までに神社に届けると、６月３０日の大祓でご祈祷していただけるようです。

 

 

皆さま、城山八幡宮で大祓をして軽やかになりましたら、お散歩ついでに風光舎にもお立ち寄りくださいませ！

There seems to be a theory that it will be the rainy season.

 

Speaking of Minazuki, at the shrine, you will be performing the “Minamizuki no Oharae”.

The information was also sent from the shrine to my home.

According to it, in our daily lives, we unknowingly become guilty of physical and mental sins and filth.

Mistakes etc. will accumulate.

No matter how saint the monarch, no one says, “I have never lied to you in the last six months.”

When such small sins accumulate, it seems that you cannot live your daily life with a pure feeling.

So, for the time being, let’s cleanse all the sins and impurities for half a year from New Year to Minazuki!

That seems to be the purpose of Minazuki’s Oharae.

 

Speaking of which, Staff M also has a lot of ideas …

My son and I secretly ate delicious souvenirs from people without telling my husband.

We, who were impatient, have lost evidence in an attempt to make sure that there was no such thing from the beginning.

This is not only for me, but for my son as well. I’m a bad mother. (Lol)

Thinking that way, I’m full of sin and filth. (Especially there are many foods.)

But don’t worry!

As you can see in the Kojiki, God is causing a lot of sins and filth.

So is the famous Izanagi god. My beloved wife, Izanami, died,

I have set foot in the Underworld, where I was told that I should never go because of my loneliness.

There, he saw the current appearance of Mr. Izanami, who was told that he should never see it.

I was afraid of the rotten appearance of my wife who was so beautiful, and I ran away from my life.

The Underworld is a land of death, so we cannot bring in the filth there.

That is where Misogi Harae comes out.

“Misogi” is the act of purifying oneself with water, and “Harae” is the act of praying to God in order to cleanse oneself.

When we did that at Awakigahara in Odo, Tachibana in Hyuga, Tsukushi, various gods were born from there.

Famous ones are Amaterasu Omikami, Tsukuyomi no Mikoto, and Susano Onomikoto.

Etc.

The origin of this Misogi is the Minazuki Oharae, which seems to have been practiced in the Imperial Palace for a long time.

 

At “Shiroyama Hachimangu”, which is just behind the Fukosha Nagoya store, please also perform the Minazuki Otoharae.

Specifically, what to do is to write your name and age on a paper doll (human being) and stroke it from your head to your toes.

Blow your breath three times and transfer the dirt you have acquired to the doll. If you deliver it to the shrine by June 29,

It seems that you can pray at the Oharae on June 30th.

Everyone, if you have a big harae at Shiroyama Hachimangu and it becomes lighter, please drop in at Fukosha while taking a walk!

爽やかな風が抜ける気持ちのよい日です。

うすい水色… 初夏らしい空と重なり、ふと目にしたフィレンツェの特集記事が目に留まりました。

 

１９８２年、”人類の創造的才能を表す傑作である” などの理由から「フィレンツェ歴史地区」の名称で世界文化遺産に登録。

世界遺産は、地球の営みと人類の歴史を目の当たりにする私たちの誇りであると言われています。

その重厚感を体感できるイタリア・ルネサンス発祥の地。

芸術家たちが手がけた建築物・彫刻などを市街で目にする機会が多いトスカーナ州の州都でもあります。

個人的には、映画「羊たちの沈黙」から１０年後、あのハンニバル・レクター博士が名を変え、潜伏していたのがフィレンツェだったなぁと…

（注！猟奇的なシーンが多々ありのため、ご覧になっていない方、要配慮でございます！）

フィレンツェ最古の橋であるとともに、先の大戦を生き延びたヴェッキオ橋やヴェッキオ宮殿。

『インフェルノ』（2016年・アメリカ映画）でもトム・ハンクスが大忙し、見所・名所ばかりでしたね。

どこをとっても絵になるような、見どころ満載で人気の旅行先です。

 

”美術史を彩る巨匠の作品があふれる美の都__

メディチ家をはじめとするパトロンのもとで大輪の花が開いたフィレンツェの芸術。

再生・復活を意味するルネサンス。

それは、古代ギリシャやローマを見本にした人間性尊重の文化運動のうねり。”

世界史の教科書に出てくるルネサンスを演出したメディチ家でありますが、名家の歴史を学びなおしは気が遠くなりそうなので(笑)、ゆかりの場所を交えて探索してみたいと思います。

 

１４世紀に毛織物業や金融業で富を蓄積したフィレンツェ。

街を歩けばあちこちにメディチ家の紋章が目に飛び込んできます。

絶大な財力と権力の証、現代でも否応なしにわかります。

それも球体が６つ付いているものが多く、その球体は”メディチ家は医者のことだから丸薬だろう”といわれているそう。

詳細は不明とのことですが…

メディチ家によるフィレンツェ支配を確立したのはコジモ・デ・メディチ。

父から銀行業を受け継ぎ、発展させ、１４３４年には実質的な支配者となりました。

ルネッサンス期のパトロンのひとりでドゥオモのクーポラ（円蓋と呼ばれる聖堂の丸屋根のことですね）を手がけたブルネレスキなどを庇護したとのこと。

フィレンツェの最盛期、コジモの孫・ロレンツォの時期にも祖父と同じように芸術家たちを支え、彼らをローマやミラノ、ヴェネツィアなどに派遣し、ルネサンス運動を広めていったようです。

少年のミケランジェロの才能を見出し、自宅に住まわせていたという話も。

 

次に、名前はよく耳にするかと思います、サン・マルコ修道院。

ここはコジモが私財を投じて建て、瞑想にふけった場所と言われています。

多くの僧房や回廊、食堂がそのままに保存され、鑑賞することができます。

この修道院を代表する傑作は、なんといっても壁に描かれたフラ・アンジェリコの１４４２年頃の作品『受胎告知』であります。

そのため、現在ではむしろフラ・アンジェリコの美術館として知られているとか…

大天使ガブリエルと聖母マリアの厳かな様子_目の当たりにしたら誰もが神聖な気持ちになるでしょう。

まるで自分が告知を受けたかのような…⁈ ありがたそう。

 

そしてそこからほど近いアカデミア美術館は、ミケランジェロの彫刻作品として有名な『ダビデ像』で知られています。

ダビデは旧約聖書でイスラエル王国の統治者。

有名なあのお姿は、巨人ゴリアテとの戦いで石を投げつけようと狙いを定めている場面だそうです。

フィレンツェ共和国が周辺の都市国家から脅かされたときは、巨人に立ち向かうこの像がフィレンツェを象徴しているといわれたこともあるそう。

ミケランジェロ少年を見出し、立派に大成していく過程を見ていたメディチ家の皆さま。

それはそれは目立つところに像を飾るでしょう。

 

そして前述したヴェッキオ宮殿は、シニョリーア広場に面して建つ宮殿で、一時の住まいとしてメディチ家も居住していたとか。

現在は市庁舎として使われているようです。

ちなみに、ルッジェーロ・レオンカヴァッロというイタリアのオペラ作曲家による、歌劇《メディチ家の人々》という曲がありますが、こちらは残念ながら興行的には失敗に終わってしまったそう…

 

豪華絢爛、華麗なるメディチ家の遺産。

今後、海外旅行が可能になった際には、美術館巡りのついでに気が向いたらメディチ家探しでもいかがでしょう。

早く屋根のない博物館、拝みたいものです。

本日、ベートーヴェンソナタNO.23を聴きながら通勤致しました。ベートーヴェンソナタの中でも私が一番好きな作品です。

 

NO.23は、別名「熱情」。ベートーヴェンのピアノソナタ32作品の中でも有名な3大ソナタの一作品。ベートーベンのピアノ・ソナタの最高傑作「熱情」は、数ある彼のピアノ曲の中で、最も激しい曲の１つとされています。よって、店内にて流すには少々重いと判断しまして、通勤中までと致しましたが笑。

 

この名曲誕生の裏には、ベートーベンのかなわぬ恋がありました。ベートーベンとは音楽の親友であった宮殿の主ブルンスヴィク伯爵。

その彼を通して出会った運命の女性が、その妹ヨゼフィーネです。彼女にピアノを教えていたベートーベン。レッスンを重ねるうちに、すっかりヨゼフィーネに魅了されていきます。それを裏付けるがごとく20世紀の半ばにベートーベンが彼女に宛てた13通の手紙が、およそ150年ぶりに発見され話題となりました。しかし二人の間には大きな壁が。平民と貴族という身分の差です。彼女の両親は裕福な貴族でないと結婚を決して認めず、ヨゼフィーネは別の貴族と政略結婚をさせれたものの、わずか4年で死別。ベートーベンは未亡人となった彼女を健気に支えましたが、結局「身分の差」は超えられず、二人は結ばれなかったというせつない悲話。「熱情」は、そんな叶わぬ恋の苦しみの中で書かれたといいます。

 

また、「熱情」誕生の裏には「ピアノを進化させたい」という、ベートーベンの強い思いがありました。ピアノ進化の過程をたどると、彼の功績の大きさが見えてきます。当時の鍵盤の音域は最大でも5オクターブ。ベートーベンも「悲愴」や「月光」など、初期のピアノ・ソナタは、こうした5オクターブまでしかないピアノで作曲していました。

 

 

しかし、そんな音域の制限に、どうしても我慢できなかったベートーベン。度々、職人たちに5オクターブ以上の鍵盤を要求したといいます。そして、ついに完成したピアノの音域は、ベートーベンこだわりの5オクターブ半。音域が広がったことで、心の叫びのような、鋭い高音のメロディーも演奏可能となったのです。さらに、膝で操作していたレバーは足先に移動。現在のピアノのペダルに随分近づきました。体全体を左右に動かせるようになったことで、激しい演奏も可能になったのです。

 

ダイナミックな表現が特徴の「熱情」。それが最も分かる部分の楽譜を見てみると、pp（非常に弱く）から一瞬にしてff（非常に強く）へ音の強さが変わっています。大胆に強弱が目まぐるしく変わるベートーベンの音楽は当時の人々を驚かせたのです。

そして、冒頭で聞いたメロディーがまた登場したかと思いきや、そのメロディーを破壊するような強烈な和音が突如鳴り響くという仕掛けも。誰もやったことのない表現に挑戦し続けたベートーベンの斬新さが「熱情」に詰まっています。

 

いつの頃だったか、有名なピアノの演奏家で指導者の方に「ピアノは、ひとりでオーケストラを奏でられる楽器。」と、お聞きしたことがありました。

この「熱情」は、いつもその言葉を思い出させ、ピアノ曲なのにオーケストラを彷彿させる大曲。また、ベートーヴェンがピアノの進化に尽力を注いでくれたお陰で、「熱情」以降の作品はダイナミックな表現が出来るようになり、こんな素人が、ピアノソナタを聴きながら、「ここの旋律はフルートがいいかも。」とか「ここは、チェロだな」などと勝手にいや、自然に「ひとりオーケストラ」の妄想ができているのですから、ピアノソナタNO.23やはりすごい。

 

 

ところで、どうして今日はベートーヴェンを聴いているのか。

実は、世界的巨匠ダニエル・バレンボイムがなんと、この6月に単独で緊急来日し、東京、大阪、愛知で16年ぶりとなるピアノ・リサイタルが行われるというのです。ダニエル・バレンボイムについては、クラシックファンの方ならご存じかと思いますが、５度のベートーヴェンピアノソナタ全集録音をされたという、ベートーヴェンピアノソナタといえば、もう彼そのものといっても過言ではない存在なのです。

そんな彼がなんと6月9日、名古屋にて演奏会が行われるとは。これって、最初で最後のチャンスでは。
