台風が来ているので名古屋のほうでも雨が降っているのですが、雨が降ると必然的に室内にいることが多くなります。

ですが室内にいても雨の音がしていつもとは違った雰囲気がありますね。

意外と心地よさも感じてしまったり…。

こんな日はアロマなどでリラックスできるといいですね。

 

 

さて、今日は

このブログで「モンドリアン展」について話したと思うのですが、その時のコレクション展で見た作品を少し紹介していけたらなと思います。

 

モンドリアン展が少なめだったので、コレクション展がその分充実していたように感じました。

もしかしたら、単にわたしの好きな作品が多かったからかもしれませんが…。

美術館のコレクション展の良さは、自分が見に来た作品以外を見ることができるところですよね。

今回はモンドリアンの展示を見に豊田市美に行きましたが、コレクション展の作品も印象に残っています。今まで知らなかった作家や作品に出会うことが出来るいい機会です。

 

豊田市美術館を二階に上がってまっすぐ進むと、広い空間に十分な感覚で贅沢に置かれた作品たちが目に入ります。

豊田市美術館の良いところで、本当に空間が広く感じます。圧迫感がありません。作品だけでなく、作品の空間も味わえるとてもいい美術館だと思います。

話を戻しますが、二階に上がりまっすぐ進んだ部屋にわたしが最初にぱっと目についた作品があります。

 

 

こちらです。

一枚目の写真でも分かる通り、とても大きな絵です。

作者は杉戸洋さんです。

大きさでも目を引くのですが、個人的には色で惹かれたという感じです。実は、美術館に行ってこの作品いいなぁと思うと作者が杉戸洋と書いてあることが度々あり、自分がその人の絵が本当に好きなんだなぁと感じます。（そろそろ杉戸さんの画集を買った方がいいんでしょうか…迷っています。）

この絵は、一枚の大きいキャンバスではなく４枚のキャンバスを繋げていてタイトルもそれに因んでいました。

左右の水色で一枚ずつ、下の茶色い色面で一枚、その上に一番カラフルなので一枚、計四枚です。

 

コレクション展では、もう一枚杉戸洋さんの作品がありました。それがこちらです。

 

 

額に入っていて、先ほどのものより小さいです。

大きさが変わっても魅力がちゃんとあるのが凄いです。一緒に行った友人はこちらの絵の方が好きみたいで、写真も撮っていました。

杉戸洋さんの絵は人気で、杉戸洋さんっぽい絵を描く人が増えているんです。写真を見て分かる通り、堅苦しくないし難しそうにも見えないじゃないですか。よくピカソの絵に対して子供でも描けると言われるような感じですかね。

これに対して学校に来て下さった先生が教えてくれたのですが、「杉戸洋さんの絵っぽく描く人は多いけど誰一人としてできていない。」とおっしゃっていました。見る人が見れば分かるんですね。確かにいつも目につくのは杉戸洋さんの絵であって、それっぽい絵を見てもそれっぽいだけなんです。

 

ぱっと絵を見たときにこの絵はすぐ描けそうと思うようなスピード感の速いストロークで描かれた絵があったのですが、ある時その絵は見た目以上に長い時間をかけて描かれた絵だと知ることがありました。

ものすごく速く見えた筆致はぱっと見３秒くらいでシュッとやったものだと思ったのですが、実は１０分ほど筆をキャンバスから離さず描いていたそうです。驚きました。

このように、こちらが思っている以上の多くの時間と労力がかけられています。

 

 

こちらは田中敦子さんの作品です。

国際的に評価の高い女性のアーティストです。

一度見たら忘れないような大胆さがあります。

 

最後に豊田市美術館で綺麗に撮れた写真を載せておきます。

ダニエル・ビュレンの作品に水面が映りキラキラと輝いているところです。

鏡になっているので、常に違う状況でいつ見ても楽しめます。近頃は素通りすることが多かったのですが、この輝きは無視できませんでした。

奥まで作品があるのですが、次回行ったときにはちゃんと見たいなと思いました。

Well, today

I think I talked about the “Mondrian Exhibition” in this blog, but I would like to introduce some of the works I saw at the collection exhibition at that time.

 

Since the number of Mondrian exhibitions was small, I felt that the collection exhibition was fulfilling.

Maybe it’s just because I had a lot of favorite works …

The beauty of the museum’s collection exhibition is that you can see works other than the ones you came to see. This time I went to Toyota Ichimi to see Mondrian’s exhibition, but the works of the collection exhibition are also impressive. This is a good opportunity to meet writers and works that you have never known before.

 

If you go upstairs to the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art and go straight, you will see works that are luxuriously placed in a large space with a sufficient sense.

The good thing about the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art is that the space really feels spacious. There is no feeling of oppression. I think it’s a very nice museum where you can enjoy not only the works but also the space of the works.

Returning to the story, there is a work that I first noticed in the room that went upstairs and went straight.

Here it is.

As you can see in the first picture, it’s a very big picture.

The author is Hiroshi Sugito.

The size is also eye-catching, but I personally feel that I was attracted by the color. Actually, when I go to a museum and think that this work is good, the author often says Hiroshi Sugito, and I feel that I really like that person’s paintings. (Should I buy Sugito’s art book soon … I’m at a loss.)

This painting connects four canvases instead of one large canvas, and the title is associated with it.

One for each of the left and right light blue, one for the brown color surface below, and one for the most colorful on top, for a total of four.

At the collection exhibition, there was another work by Hiroshi Sugito. That’s here.

It’s in the frame and it’s much smaller than the previous one.

It is amazing that even if the size changes, it still has charm. My friend who went with me seemed to like this picture better, so I took pictures.

Hiroshi Sugito’s paintings are popular, and more and more people are drawing pictures that look like Hiroshi Sugito. As you can see in the picture, it doesn’t look stiff or difficult. It’s often said that even children can draw Picasso’s drawings.

In response to this, the teacher who came to school told me, “There are many people who draw like a picture of Mr. Hiroshi Sugito, but no one can do it.” You can see it if you see it. Certainly, the one that always stands out is Mr. Hiroshi Sugito’s painting, and even if you look at a painting that looks like that, it’s just like that.

When I saw the picture at a glance, there was a picture that was drawn with a fast stroke that made me think that I could draw it immediately, but at one point the picture was drawn over a longer period of time than it looked. I knew it was a picture.

I thought that the brush stroke that looked extremely fast was done in about 3 seconds at a glance, but in fact, it seems that he was drawing the brush for about 10 minutes without taking it off the canvas. I was surprised.

As you can see, more time and effort is being spent than we think.

This is the work of Atsuko Tanaka.

She is an internationally acclaimed female artist.

There is a boldness that you will never forget once you see it.

 

Lastly, I will post a beautiful photo taken at the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art.

The surface of the water is reflected in the work of Daniel Buren and it is shining brilliantly.

Since it is a mirror, you can always enjoy it in different situations. These days, I often pass by, but I couldn’t ignore this brilliance.

There are works all the way to the back, but I wanted to see them the next time I went.
