正月太りについてのブログがございましたが、Nも正月太りならぬ正月むくみをしてしまいました。

 

その後、風邪をひいてげっそりして現在に至ります。

 

むくみも嫌ですが、体調不良の方がしんどいので、ごはんを美味しく食べることができて、元気なのが一番だなと実感した今日この頃でございます。

 

 

 

家に引きこもっていたので、ずっと始めたいと思っていたピアノを始めることができました。

 

小さい頃習っていた時は、嫌で嫌で仕方なくて、レッスンの時間になると泣きながら逃げていたのを思い出します。

 

何から始めてよいのやらさっぱりで、youtubeを見始めたのですがよくわからず。

 

楽しくわかりやすくできそうなピアノレッスンのアプリを見つけまして、練習しております。

 

勉強も習い事も、昔は強制されていたためにあんなに嫌いだったのに、楽しさを知って自発的に行うとこんなにすっと受け入れられるので不思議です。

 

先日、藤井風のドキュメンタリー番組を見て泣いてしまいました。

 

音楽以外のことには驚くほど無頓着だという藤井風さん。

 

ピュアな岡山弁のキャラクターと、ギャップのありすぎるステージでのかっこよさも印象的ですね。

 

今週末には名古屋でもライブがあるそうで、チケットの当たった知人が羨ましいです。

 

私もあんな風に自由に楽しくピアノを弾いてみたいと思ったのかもしれません。

 

NHKの駅ピアノも好きでよく見ております。

 

Nの地元の駅にも駅ピアノがありまして、先日超絶技巧で演奏しているおじさまがいたのですが、皆遠くから見守るだけでした。

 

終わった後拍手もなく、もっと近くで聴いて拍手すればよかった、何ならアンコールをお願いすればよかったと後悔しております。

 

ストレスやエネルギーが有り余っている方は、音楽や絵で自分を表現することでも身体にいいそうです。

 

今までは、キックボクシングをしたりカラオケに行ったりして発散していたのですが、これからはしっとりと大人のストレス発散ができたらいいなと思います。

 

ここでピアノについて少し調べてみました。

 

 

「ピアノ」の正式名称は「クラヴィチェンバロ・コル・ピアノ・エ・フォルテ」というイタリア語でございます。

 

まさかこんなに長い名前だったとは驚きです。

「小さい音と大きい音を出すことのできるチェンバロ」という意味だそうです。

I remember when I was taking lessons when I was little, I hated it and ran away crying when it was time for lessons.

 

I didn’t know what to start with, so I started watching youtube, but I didn’t really understand.

 

I found a piano lesson app that seems fun and easy to understand, and I’m practicing.

 

In the past, I used to hate studying and taking lessons because they were forced to do so.

 

The other day, I cried when I watched a documentary program about Fujii Kaze.

 

Kaze Fujii is surprisingly indifferent to things other than music.

 

The pure Okayama dialect character and the coolness on the stage with too much gap are impressive.

 

It seems that there will be a live in Nagoya this weekend, and I’m envious of my acquaintances who won tickets.

 

Maybe I wanted to play the piano freely and happily like that.

 

I also like NHK station piano and watch it often.

 

N’s local station also has a station piano, and the other day there was an uncle who was playing it with great skill, but everyone just watched from afar.

 

There was no applause after the performance, and I regret that I should have listened closer and applauded, or if I had asked for an encore.

年末年始の話になって恐縮ではありますが、そういえば、年末に宇宙から還ってきた方とおあいしたんですよ。え？宇宙飛行士？はたまた最近宇宙へ行かれた某実業家のトークショーでも参加したの？と、言いたいところでしょうが、いえいえ違うんです笑。

 

実は、年末「宇宙の酒」（日本酒）をいただきました。宇宙と日本酒ってどこがどうなってるんだとお思いでしょう。ご存知の方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、簡単にご説明いたしますと…。

 

 

 

 

実は、2005年10月1日高知県産の日本酒酵母が搭載されたロケットが宇宙に向かって打ち上げられました。そして国際宇宙ステーションに滞在し増殖した宇宙育ちの「宇宙酵母」が10月11日に無事地球へ帰還、そして、その酵母を培養させ2006年4月世界初の宇宙酒が誕生いたしましたお酒が、「土佐宇宙酒」であります。

 

それにても、酵母や原料米をロケットに搭載して宇宙に打ち上げ、 それで日本酒を造ろうなどという一見無謀な計画のように思えますし、当初は誰しもが到底実現不可能と思い込んでいたようであります。それを2002年に高知県内の有志が「高知県宇宙利用推進協議会」（通称「てんくろうの会」）を立ち上げ、様々な障害や苦難を乗り越え、2005年遂に打ち上げに成功したといいますので、まずは夢は持ち続けるとなんですね。

 

そうして3年がかりで壮大な夢を実現させたのが「土佐宇宙酒」。ですが、そんな「土佐宇宙酒」、ここで終わりではありません。

 

今度は2021年、なんと一度宇宙へ行った酵母が深海へ潜ります。海洋調査船と共に、深さ約6000メートルの深海へ。600気圧という過酷な環境を4か月間耐え抜いた一部の酵母、通称「宇宙深海酵母」が、晴れて誕生いたしました。

 

と、簡単につらつらと述べているのですが、ただ海に潜り出てきたという簡単な話ではないようです。深海へ潜ることは、強力な水圧との戦いでもあり、生存率がとても低く、実際、2019年の挑戦では全滅を味わったそうであります。そこで、もう一度酵母を鍛え直し、2021年の再挑戦で深海を生き抜いたわずかな酵母だけが「宇宙深海酵母」となれました。つまり宇宙深海酵母は、選び抜かれた強靭な酵母でして、その生存確率は脅威の「300,000,000分の1」だそうです。

 

そして、この「土佐宇宙酒」、最近では土佐の酒蔵が様々な種類が発売されるようになりまして、先日は早速、土佐宇宙酒の利き酒を致しました。

 

ここまで話を聞きますと、利き酒の感想がきになりますよね…。そのお味はと申しますと、これが意外や意外、わりと舌触りのまろやかな深みのあるお味でして。

なんだか前述の「耐え抜いた」とか「強靭」とか「パワー」などと強いキーワードをつらつらと並べてしまいましたので、ついついイメージがキレのいい辛口のイメージに傾倒してしまいそうでしたが、実はなんともまろやかなお味が口に広がります。人間もそうですが、鍛えられ、耐え抜いたものは酵母でも深みが出て柔和になっていくのでしょうか…。

 

それにしても、宇宙へ行くことが叶う人は今のところはそうそういませんので、せめて壮大な宇宙のパワーを授受し、叶えたい無謀な夢でさえも叶えてくれるようなイメージを膨らませながらいただくことで、お酒が体の芯まで沁みていくことは確かなようです。それにもまして、高知県のお酒への夢と希望と酒豪大国のパワーをも感じるお酒でありました笑。

I am sorry to talk about the year-end and New Year’s holidays, but I met a person who came back from space at the end of the year. What? An astronaut? Or did you attend a talk show of a businessman who recently went to space? I would like to say, “No, no, no, no.

 

Actually, I received “space sake” (Japanese sake) at the end of the year. You may be wondering what is the connection between space and sake. Some of you may already know this, but let me give you a brief explanation….

 

On October 1, 2005, a rocket carrying sake yeast produced in Kochi Prefecture was launched into space. The space-grown “space yeast” that stayed on the International Space Station returned safely to the earth on October 11, and in April 2006, the world’s first space-bred sake was created by cultivating the yeast.

 

At first glance, the idea of launching yeast and rice aboard a rocket into space to make sake seemed like a foolhardy plan, and at first everyone thought it would be impossible to achieve. In 2002, volunteers in Kochi Prefecture established the “Kochi Prefecture Space Utilization Promotion Council” (a.k.a. “Tenkuro no Kai”), overcame various obstacles and hardships, and finally succeeded in launching a spacecraft in 2005.

 

It took three years to realize the grand dream of “Tosa Space Sake. But the “Tosa Space Sake” does not end here.

 

In 2021, the yeast that has already been to space will dive into the deep sea. Some of the yeast that survived the harsh environment of 600 atmospheres for four months, known as “space yeast,” was born.

 

This is a simple story, but it is not as simple as just diving into the ocean and coming out. Diving into the deep sea is also a battle against powerful water pressure, and the survival rate is very low. So, we retrained the yeast once again, and only the few yeast that survived the deep sea in the 2021 challenge became “Uchu Shinkai Yeast”. In other words, the Uchu-shinkai yeast is a selected and strong yeast, and its survival rate is said to be an astonishing 1 in 300,000,000.

 

Recently, various types of “Tosa Space Sake” have been released by Tosa sake breweries, and the other day, I had a chance to taste some Japanese Tosa Space Sake.

 

Now that you have heard all this, you may be wondering what I thought of the sake tasting…. The taste was, surprisingly, rather mellow and deep on the tongue.

I have used such strong keywords as “endured,” “tough,” and “power,” so I was inclined to think of it as sharp and dry, but in fact, it has a very mild taste that spreads in the mouth. Like human beings, I wonder if yeast that has been trained and endured a long time becomes deep and mild….

 

At any rate, there are not many people who can go to space at this point in time, so it is certain that sake will sink into the core of your body if you drink it while imagining that you are receiving the magnificent power of the universe and that it will make even the most reckless of dreams come true. It was a sake that made me feel not only the universe, but also the dreams and hopes for sake in Kochi Prefecture, and the power of a great sake brewing powerhouse.

今朝のここ名古屋は久しぶりのしとしとした雨。このところの乾燥で各所で色々心配なこともございましたので、朝から足元は悪かったのですが、少々ほっとする雨でございますね。

 

 

 

 

それはそうと、いつも某国立大学の前を車で通勤するのですが、今朝は制服を着たたくさんの高校生たちが校舎の方へ吸い込まれていっておりました。そうです、本日は共通テストの第一日目。全国で、51万人以上の受験生がいよいよ今日を迎えたようであります。

 

私の友人のお子さんも本日の共通テストに臨むとのことで、先日は受験生のお子さんと支える母（友人）へ応援のLINEを送りました。受験生本人は一番大変ではありますが、それをサポートする家族の皆様もそれはそれで大変であります。この状況下体調を崩すことなくたたかいに臨めるよう、せめて環境だけは整えなくてはとそれはそれで気が気ではなかったと思います…。もはやそっちのサポート側のもう一人の母のような気持ちになり、昨日はこの私まで緊張してきたり。（私が受験するというわけではないのに笑。）

 

そんな昨日も相まって、車中からではありますが傘をさしながら校舎へ入っていく受験生の皆さんの背中をみておりますといろいろとこみあげて来るものがございました。

 

今回共通テストを受験する方のほとんどは、制約された高校生活を過ごし部活や学校行事などいろいろと我慢をしてきた世代でありましょう。

 

先だっての夏の甲子園優勝校、仙台育英高校の須江航監督が優勝直後のインタビューにおいても「青春って、すごく密なので。」という言葉に何人の方がはっと気づかされたことか…。

我々大人にとってもつらい状況下だったにもかかわらず、若いみなさんはきっと声をあげることのもできない得も言われぬ時間をすごしてきたことと思います。

 

そしてこの状況下の流れのまま受験生活がスタートし、この混沌とした時代に進むべき道は何なのかこれまで以上に思い悩まれたのではないでしょうか。まずはそんなみなさんがこのスタートラインにたてたことを褒めたい気持ちになりました。車中よりその様子を見ておりますと（ガン見はしておりませ笑）、不安な表情、覚悟をきめた足取り、見送る関係者に送る決意の表情など様々。みなさんここまで来るのにいろいろあったことでしょう。

 

ですが、みなさんはこのような状況下の中青春を過ごし、どんな困難も乗り越える力を絶対に身に着けていると思っております。これからどんな時代になるか我々にもわかりませんが、みなさんはきっと強い。どんなことでも乗り越えられると思っております。

 

 

今日はそんな皆さんの楽しみな今後への次なるステップへのスタートラインの日。

By the way, I always drive by a certain national university on my way to work, and this morning I saw a lot of high school students in their uniforms being sucked into the school building. Yes, today is the first day of the common test. It seems that more than 510,000 students across the country have finally taken the test today.

 

A friend of mine’s child is also preparing for today’s common test, so the other day I sent a line of support to the child and her supporting mother (my friend). The students themselves are the hardest to prepare for the test, but the family members who support them also have a lot of work to do. I think they were anxious to at least prepare the environment so that they could face the examinations without getting sick under the circumstances. I feel as if I am another mother on the support side, and even I was getting nervous yesterday. (Even though I am not taking the exam, lol…)

 

Yesterday, as I watched the backs of the students entering the school building with umbrellas over their heads from the car, I was filled with a variety of emotions.

 

Most of the students who will take the common test this time must have spent their high school life under restrictions and endured many things such as club activities and school events.

In an interview with the coach of Sendai Ikuei High School, the winner of the Koshien Summer High School Championships, he said, “Youth is a very intimate thing. I wonder how many people were made aware of this in his interview immediately after his team’s victory. I am sure that young people have spent an indescribable time in which they could not speak out, even though it was a difficult situation for us adults as well.

 

And as the life of entrance examinations started under these circumstances, I am sure that you have wondered more than ever what path you should take in this chaotic era. First of all, I would like to commend all of you for having made it to the starting line. As I watched them from the car (not looking at them with a gun, lol), I saw a variety of expressions of anxiety, determined steps, and determination on the faces of those who were seeing them off. I am sure that everyone has been through a lot to get this far.

 

However, I believe that all of you have spent your youth under these circumstances and have definitely acquired the ability to overcome any difficulties you may face. We do not know what kind of times we will face in the future, but I am sure that all of you are strong. I am sure that you will be able to overcome whatever comes your way.

 

 

 

Today is the starting line for the next step in your exciting future. Even the adults in the car, who are strangers to you, are cheering for you. So, let me give you a shout out from the car.

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

 

昨日のお昼間の暖かさといい、本日も日中は暖かく春のような暖かさが続いております。

この気温は週末まで続くそうですが、来週からはまた冬の寒さに戻るようです。皆さまくれぐれも体調にお気をつけください。

 

さて、先日姪っ子が1歳の誕生日を迎えました。

あっという間に過ぎた日々…まだ１年前にはお腹にいたのに今ではつたい歩きができるようになりまして、成長の早さに驚かされています。

 

そして最近は何でも真似をするようになりまして、消毒を手になじませている動作を見ながら真似してきたり、筋トレ中腕立て伏せをしているときの声真似をしてきたりなど（笑）

もう姪っ子の前で下手なことはできないなぁ…なんて。

 

 

話が戻りますが、１歳の誕生日といえば赤ちゃんが最初に迎える大切な記念日ですよね。

アメリカでは「ファーストバースデー」と言われ、大切な記念日として盛大にお祝いする文化があります。

もちろん日本でも古くから１歳の誕生日をお祝いする慣しがたくさんあり今回は実際に選び取りや、一升餅を背負ってみたりしました。

 

 

この一升餅の由来は、「一生（一升）食べるものに困らないように」と願いを込めて一升餅を背負わせて成長を願うというものです。

また一升餅の形にも意味があり、「一生円満な人生を送れるように」という願いも込められているそうです。

約２キロの重たいお餅をイヤイヤ背負わされる様子も可愛らしく、微笑ましたかったのですが相当重かったようで後ろに倒れそうになりながら座り込んでしまいすぐに嫌になり自分でおろしていました。

 

この一升餅を背負った様子にも様々な意味がありまして。立ち上がったら「立身出世する」、座ったら「家を継いでくれる」、転んだら「厄を落とした」などの意味を持っています。

 

 

また選び取りも１歳のお祝いで昔から行われている行事の１つ。

子供の目の前に様々なアイテムを置いて一番興味を持ったものを子供に選び取ってもらいます。

何を選び取ったかによって子供の将来の職業や未来を占うという行事でして、最近ではカード型になっているので相当悩んでおりましたが最終的には満足そうに１枚選んでおりました。選ばれたカードは記念に残しておくこともできて、もう少し大きくなったら幸せな思い出話として盛り上がりそうです。

 

 

こうやって１歳のお誕生日を元気に祝えたことにまずは感謝をしつつ、来年再来年そしてこの先ずっとどうか健康で美しい人生を歩んでほしいです。これは姪っ子だけではなくこの世の中にいるすべての人に向けても言えます。

I wanted to smile, but it was so heavy that I almost fell backwards and sat down, and soon got tired of it and put it down by myself. There are various meanings in the appearance of carrying this issho mochi. If you stand up, you will be successful in life. If you sit down, you will inherit the family.

 

Selecting is also one of the events that have been held for a long time to celebrate one year old. Place a variety of items in front of your child and let them choose the one that interests them the most.

 

It was an event to foretell a child’s future occupation and future depending on what he chose. Recently, it was a card type, so I was worried about it, but in the end I chose one with a satisfied look. rice field. みなさま、こんにちはスタッフYでございます。

 

新年も明け、先日から新しいドラマのチェックを開始しております。

 

大河ドラマはとりあえずチェックする派でして、松本潤さん主演の大河ドラマ「どうする家康」いよいよ始まりましたね。

いきなりかわいいお嫁さん（有村架純さん）が登場したり、人質として身を寄せていた今川義元（野村萬斎さん）は45分で「討ち死にしました。」の展開だったりその速さにまあまあ驚きました松本潤さんがイケメンなのでまあよいか笑。

そしてなにより、この地方の城や地名が登場したりと、私を含め地元民は松本さん効果も相まってワクワクしながら見ていることでしょう。

 

 

 

 

そんなわけで、今年も大河ドラマ効果でここ愛知、盛り上がりをみせております。

 

といいましても、ここ愛知県は、織田信長、豊臣秀吉、徳川家康、三英傑の誕生の地。戦国時代のドラマや映画となりますと、宣伝やゆかりの地の紹介などなど、この地はいつも盛り上がりを見せるのですが、昨年も映画の宣伝で岐阜に登場した木村拓哉さん効果はすごかったことも記憶に新しいことと思います。ですが、家康が主人公の大河ドラマは意外や意外これで三作目らしいとのこと。戦国時代の作品ですと結構登場している気がしますので、ちょっと驚きですね。

 

そんなわけで、大河ドラマ「どうする家康」にちなんだ地元の盛り上がりを２，３ご紹介致しましょう。

 

まずは、「どうする家康」の初回放送日2023年1月8日に行われる東海地域でのイベント「東海プレミアリレー」が岡崎市で実施され、松本潤さん、山田裕貴さん、杉野遥亮さん、有村架純さん、大森南朋さんら5名が登壇する豪華トークステージ＆パブリックビューイングが行われたとのこと。倍率はなんと196倍とだっとのことですから、すごい。

 

また、岡崎市では約40年ぶりに徳川家康公を主人公とした大河ドラマ「どうする家康」の放送開始に伴い「どうする家康　岡崎　大河ドラマ館」が開業。同施設および岡崎城を訪れるのに便利な「どうする岡崎　家康公きっぷ」を1月14日から発売されるとのこと。

徳川家の菩提寺である大樹寺をはじめ、岡崎市内の家康公ゆかりの地を巡るのに便利な東岡崎駅から大樹寺間の「周遊バスきっぷ」と、「大樹寺拝観割引券」がセットになった「どうする岡崎　家康公周遊きっぷ」も発売するとのことですので、ちょっと気になります。

 

そして、名古屋市では令和5年1月8日（日）から放送開始の大河ドラマ「どうする家康」の番組 PR を施した、なごや観光ルートバス『メーグル』のラッピングバスの運行を行っており、先日の地元局のニュースにもなっておりました。こちらのバス、名古屋城や徳川園などにも停車し、松潤と一緒に観光スポットを巡ることができます笑。

 

とまあ、すでに盛り上がっておりますが、大河ドラマの良いところは一年間の放映ですので、ドラマのゆかりの土地やイベントにこの一年どこかで訪れることができそうなことでしょうか。

おいしいものをいただく機会が多い年末年始、短期間でしっかり体重も増えてしまいこの時期よく聞く”お正月太り”してしまいました。

 

わたくし、今年の目標として体重管理、運動不足解消を掲げておりまして早速年明けから筋トレを始めまして…

一番重点を置いているのが、二の腕、お腹周りなど他にもいくつかありますが、そちらに効くようなトレーニングを始めて１１日目、ものすごい筋肉痛と日々戦っております。

 

 

この筋肉痛を乗り越えたら少しずつ効果が見えてくるのだろうかと疑いながら無心になって続けていたのですが。

この間、筋トレ方法を調べているとき気になる記事を発見してしまいました。

 

 

正月太り＝体重の増加と思っていたのですが、実はほとんどはむくみが原因のようなのです。

体脂肪というのは急激に増加するものではなく、女性で言うと一日の摂取エネルギー量は、平均的に2,000カロリー前後。お正月で脂肪を３キロ増やすためには、最低で毎日5,500カロリー程度も接種しなければいけないそうです。

具体的に例にしてみますと、大学生の男子ラグビー選手が、1日に摂取するエネルギー量を大きく上回るぐらいの量。

 

私も思い出してみると、大学生の男子ラグビー選手くらいそこまでの量は食べていないはずなので、年末年始のアルコール多量摂取と、おせちやお菓子などの暴食が体内にため込まれる＋むくみとなっているということになりそうです。

 

 

そうなると、このむくみは早めになくさないと体内に定着してしまうようでして1月中にしっかり睡眠時間、遠藤習慣をいつも通りにもどすことでむくみが排出され体重も元通りになるのだとか。

これが2月以降になりますと、消費エネルギーより、摂取エネルギーの増加によりさらに太ってしまうということになってしまいます。

 

もし私と同じように”お正月太り”に該当する方いらっしゃいましたら、できる限り早く生活習慣を戻すこと、そしてむくみをとるための行動を心掛けなければいけないです！

 

むくみをとるためにより良い行動として、アルコール・炭水化物・塩分を減らすこと。そしてお野菜をたくさん食べること。

また睡眠時間を増やすことと、38～40度くらいのお湯にゆっくり浸かりリンパの流れを良くすることでお正月太りはもちろん、体重も落ちるかもしれませんね。

 

「継続は力なり」という言葉通り、より良い生活習慣を送って2023年も健康に元気に過ごしましょう。

I wondered if I could see the effect little by little when I got over this muscle pain, but I continued to do it without thinking. The other day, when I was researching muscle training methods, I found an article that caught my attention.

 

I thought that New Year’s weight gain = weight gain, but in fact most of it seems to be caused by swelling. Body fat does not increase rapidly, and for women, the average daily energy intake is around 2,000 calories. In order to gain 3 kg of fat by the New Year, it seems that you have to inoculate at least 5,500 calories every day.

 

To give a concrete example, the amount of energy consumed by a university student male rugby player far exceeds the amount of energy consumed in a day. When I think about it, I don’t think I’ve eaten as much as a university student rugby player, so I ate a lot of alcohol during the year-end and New Year holidays and overeating sweets, etc., and my body accumulated swelling. 年があけて１０日経ちましたが、皆さまいかがお過ごしでしょうか？

年始は、箱根駅伝をラジオで聞きながら仕事をしていたのですが、繰り上げスタートで後何秒というところでタスキが渡せず、泣き叫んでいる選手の声につられて涙しておりました。

 

スポーツというより、その背景にある家族だったり、監督の思いだったり、チームメイトの絆のドラマが好きなのかもしれません。

 

昨日は高校サッカー決勝がありましたし、こんな寒い中で試合をする学生たちにあっぱれでございます。

 

そんな学生たちを見てNもウォーキングを始めましたが、足の裏にマメができてとても痛いです。

 

一緒に歩いている知人も足から血を流しておりました。

 

体調を崩さないようにほどほどに頑張りたいと思います。

 

 

 

最近知人が、韓国ドラマの「悪の花」にはまっておりまして、その話をよく聞きます。

 

その前は、昔いじめられていたいじめっこの子供の担任になって復讐するドラマを見ていたらしく、あらすじだけで面白そうです。

昨日スタッフYが新年のご挨拶をしておりましたので、簡単にさせていただきます。

『本年もよろしくお願い申し上げます。』

 

さて、本日は「成人の日」ですね。成人の日を迎える方々とご家族の皆さま、おめでとうございます。

今年は成人年齢が１８歳に引き下げられて初めてとなる成人の日。

全国で３つの町と市にとどまり、ほとんどが従来どおり２０歳を対象としているそうです。

 

毎年話題になるのが東京ディズニーシーでの成人式ですが、わたくし今年初めて知った少し変わった成人式がありまして…２００６年からなんと１０年以上もの間、阿蘇市の市長が歌で新成人にエールを送っているということ。

今年はAdoの「新時代」と、ゆずの「友～旅立ちの時科～」の２曲を熱唱したそうですが、今話題の曲で新成人に全力でエールを送り続ける姿に少し感動してしまいました。

 

話が少し逸れましたが、まだ１８歳が成人ということに実感が湧かず成年年齢が２０歳から１８歳に引き下げられた理由について少し調べてみました。

 

明治時代から約１４０年間、日本での成年年齢は２０歳とされていましたが、２０２２年４月１日時点で１８歳、１９歳の方は成人となり２０２２年４月１日以降１８歳の誕生日から成人とみなされるようになりました。

近年、公職選挙法の選挙権年齢や憲法改正国民投票の投票権年齢を１８歳と定めるなど、１８歳、１９歳の若者にも国政の重要な判断に参加してもらうための政策が進められてきました。

こうした中で、市民生活に関する基本法である民法でも、１８歳以上を大人として扱うのが適当ではないかという議論がなされ、成年年齢が１８歳に引き下げされました。そして現代では世界的にも成年年齢を１８歳とするのが主流なのだそう。

 

１８歳になったらできることとして、「一人で契約をすることができる年齢」と民法で定めているため、一人暮らしの部屋を借りたり、クレジットカードを作ったり、１０年有効のパスポートを作ったりなどが挙げられます。

逆に、２０歳にならないとできないこととして、飲酒、喫煙、競馬などの公営競技に関する年齢制限はこれまでと変わりません。

 

正直自分が１８歳で成人と言われると、なかなか実感も湧かないですし、まだまだ子供のような感覚でいるような気がします（笑）新成人を迎えられた方々はどうでしょうか？
