みなさま、こんにちは。

先日、全然歴女でもなんでもない私が、縁あって、「歴史上の出来事の場所に赴いて思いを馳せる旅」ということをしてきました。

というのも、私の友人に、ご先祖様が戦国武将の佐久間信盛でしたという方がいらして、その方が名古屋に来る用事があったので、そのついで（いや、これがメインですね。）にご先祖様を思う旅にご一緒させていただいたんです。

 

 

佐久間信盛は織田信長の家老だったので、まずは風光舎のご近所の「城山八幡宮」から旅がスタートしました。

城山八幡宮は織田信長のお父様の信秀公と弟・信行公の居城だった神社ですので、まずはご挨拶です。

すると、兵庫から来たその友人は、とても気のよい神社だと喜んでおり、こんな神社が自分のうちの近所にもあったら毎日でも来たいと言っておりました。

普段から近くにあるのが普通である身としては、外から来た方の意見は新鮮ですし、改めてありがたみが湧いてきますね。

 

 

 

次に鳴海城跡公園に。

鳴海城の城主にもなったことがあるらしいので、お城があった場所に赴きました。

今はお城の跡地の中心部が公園になっていましたが、小高い丘の上にあり、当時の様子が伺えます。

現在は県道を挟んだ目の前には天神社がありますが、かつてはそちらも城の敷地だったそうです。

そちらに鳴海城址の石碑が立っていました。

 

そのあとで、桶狭間の合戦場に向かいました。

信長といえば、今川義元と戦った桶狭間の合戦が有名ですものね。

それに家老として参戦したのですから、桶狭間を巡ることは外せません。

また、歴史の教科書に名前が載っている場所がこの名古屋市にあるのですから、行かない手はありません。

 

そちらに着くと、案内の看板には桶狭間の戦いの様子が案内されていましたが、一番驚いたのは、公園内が当時の信長軍と家康軍、今川軍の進軍路がジオラマ形式になっていたことです。

もちろん、城や砦の位置も模された配置になっています。

しかも、専用のアプリをダウンロードすると、そこでどんな合戦が繰り広げられたのかAR劇場で楽しめるような作りになっているんです。

私たちはそれまではやらなかったのですが、歴史を勉強中の学生さんなど、合戦の状況を動画で見ることができ、生きた勉強空間だなぁと感心しました。

また、訪れてみて気づいたのが、意外と狭い場所だったということです。

そして、桶狭間の戦いは尾張なので濃尾平野という平地のイメージではありましたが、実際は周辺は山谷が続く高低差が激しい地域です。

今川軍に対して圧倒的に数では負けている信長軍が勝つには、この土地でなければなかったんだと思いましたし、改めて信長の頭の良さに感心しました。

 

 

こうやって歴史で何か起こった場所を尋ねることは、教科書で読むより何倍も面白いんだと気付きましたし、臨場感をもって理解が深まります。

それが自分のご先祖様のこととなれば尚更です。友人はとても感慨深い様子でした。

私もご一緒できたことで、歴史認識の曖昧な部分がクリアになりました。

 

そんな感じで、知的に楽しい一日になり、帰りには美味しいものも食べて帰ってきました。

Because, one of my friends said that his ancestor was Sakuma Nobumori, a warlord of the Warring States, and he had a business to come to Nagoya, so that’s the main thing (no, this is the main thing). ), I took a trip to think of my ancestors.

 

Nobumori Sakuma was the chief retainer of Nobunaga Oda, so the trip started from “Shiroyama Hachimangu” in the neighborhood of Fukosha.

Shiroyama Hachimangu is a shrine that was the residence of Nobuhide Oda’s father and his younger brother Nobuhide, so I would like to say hello first.

Then, the friend who came from Hyogo was pleased that it was a very nice shrine, and said that he would like to come every day if there was such a shrine in his neighborhood.

As a person who is usually close to me, the opinions of those who come from outside are fresh, and I am grateful again.

 

Next, go to Narumishiroato Park.

It seems that he has also become the owner of Narumi Castle, so I went to the place where the castle was.

The center of the site of the castle was now a park, but it is on a small hill, and you can see what it was like at that time.

Currently, there is a Tenjin shrine in front of you across the prefectural road, but it seems that it used to be the site of a castle.

There stood a stone monument at the site of Narumishiroato.

 

 

After that, I headed to the battlefield in Okehazama.

Speaking of Nobunaga, the battle between Okehazama who fought against Yoshimoto Imagawa is famous.

Also, since I participated in the war as a chief retainer, I cannot miss going around Okehazama.

Also, there is a place in Nagoya where the name appears in history textbooks, so there is no choice but to go.

 

When I arrived there, the signboard of the guide showed the battle between Okehazama, but what surprised me most was that the park was a diorama of the Nobunaga army and Ieyasu army at that time, and the Ieyasu army’s course. It was supposed to be.

Of course, the location of the castle and fort is also imitated.

What’s more, if you download the dedicated app, you can enjoy what kind of battle was fought there at the AR theater.

We hadn’t done it before, but I was impressed that it was a living study space because I could watch the video of the battle situation, such as students studying history.

 

Also, when I visited, I noticed that it was a surprisingly small place.

And, since the battle between Okehazama was Owari, it was an image of a flat land called Noo Plain, but in reality, the surrounding area is a region with a large difference in elevation where mountains and valleys continue.

I thought that Nobunaga’s army, which was overwhelmingly defeated by the Imagawa army, had to be in this land to win, and I was once again impressed by Nobunaga’s smartness.

 

I realized that asking where something happened in history in this way is many times more interesting than reading it in a textbook, and it gives me a sense of realism.

Especially when it comes to your ancestors. My friend looked very emotional.

By being able to work with me, the vague part of historical awareness has been cleared.

 

With that feeling, it was an intellectually enjoyable day, and on the way back, I ate delicious food and came back.
