こんにちは！
今朝は晴れたかと思いきや、

またパラパラと雨の降る覚王山界隈です。
先日の茶道のお稽古で、

「柳緑花紅」～柳(やなぎ)は緑(みどり)花(はな)は紅(くれない)～

と書かれた軸がお床に掛かっておりました。

宋時代の詩人、蘇東坡（そとうば）の詠じた詩です。

本来はもう一言「真面目」という言葉が添えられています。
「柳緑　花紅　真面目（やなぎはみどり　はなはくれない　しんめんもく）」

まじめか～！じゃなくて、「しんめんもく」って読むんですね。

 

目の前にある春の景色を目の当たりにして

「柳は緑色で、花は紅に染まり、これが本来のありのままの姿そのままだ」と詠嘆したのです。

柳が新緑の枝を垂らし、花が紅に咲き誇っています。

この光景は何千年と繰り返されてきた春の景色です。ただそれだけです。

ただそれだけなのに、敢えて「真面目（しんめんもく）」と感動したのです。

柳は柳として、何も隠すことなく堂々と現し、花も花として、その姿を示しています。

柳は柳、花は花、そこには価値の優劣はなく、あるのは真実だけです。

 

穏やかに説いてくださる茶道の先生のお言葉に、

「ああ、そのままの自分を受け入れていけばよいのだ．．．」

とスッと救われた気持ちになったものです。

ありのままを、ありのままに受け取り、

そこに真実を観ることが「禅」の心そのものです。

自然は何も隠さず堂々と私たちの前にその姿を現しています。

ありのままが真実です。

余計な価値判断を捨て去り、

心の目を見開いて、歩んでいきたいものです。

 

どんなものにも本質的な尊さがあることを教えてくれているのですが

周りの人・ものについても、その尊いそのままの本質的な姿を正しく見ることができているか＿

ということについても考えさせられる禅語です。

 

私事で恐縮ですが、家に愚息が一人おりまして、

彼が家に居る時はゲームをしている姿しか見たことがありません。

一応、一日にゲームをやっていいという時間は決めてあったはずなんですけれどね．．．

明日の準備とか宿題とか、やることやってからって言ってあるはずなんですけどね．．．

彼なりに自分がやるべきことはやっているんでしょうか？

どうもそうらしいですね．．．

自分の衣類の洗濯やお風呂掃除はやってくれてますけどね．．．

もうあるがまま受け止めるしかないんでしょうかね？

Even so, I dared to be impressed with “ Serious </ b> (Shinmenmoku) </ span>”.

The willow appears as a willow without hiding anything, and the flower also appears as a flower.

Willow is willow, flower is flower, there is no superiority or inferiority of value, there is only truth.

In the words of the tea ceremony teacher who gently preaches

“Oh, just accept yourself as you are …”

Receive as it is, as it is,

Seeing the truth there is the very heart of “ Zen </ b>”.

Nature is openly appearing in front of us without hiding anything.

The truth is as it is.

Throw away unnecessary value judgments,

I want to open my eyes and walk.

I’ve been teaching that everything has an essential preciousness.

Are you able to correctly see the precious and essential appearance of the people and things around you?

It is a Zen word that makes me think about that.

I’m sorry to say that I have a fool at home.

I’ve only seen him playing games after he got home.

For the time being, the time of the day should have been decided. .. ..

I’m sure you’ve said that you’re preparing for tomorrow, doing your homework, and doing what you’re doing. .. ..

Am he doing what he should do?

They do the laundry for their clothes and the cleaning of the bath. .. ..

Is there no choice but to accept it as it is?
