皆様こんにちは、スタッフYでございます。

 

今朝の名古屋は、ちょっと冷えた朝でありました。先日頃の陽気とは打って変わっての再びの寒さにやはり2月は2月だったようですね。皆様の地域は寒さはまだまだといったところでしょうか。

 

突然ですが昨日「人類の発展と継承は“石”だな。」と本当に思ったんですよ。どうしたいきなり？。疲れでもたまっているのか？と言われそうな発言ですが笑、まあお付き合いください笑。

 

先日スペインに行っている家族から現地の画像が送られてきまして。こちらはスペインセゴビアのローマ水道橋であります。「水道橋」は、街の最も高い所まで水を届けるため、1世紀後半、ローマ帝国時代に建造され、当時の水道橋はヨーロッパの各地に残っているのですが、当時の建造物としては最も保存状態の良いもののひとつのようです。もちろん世界遺産にも登録されております。この水道橋、接着剤を使わずに20,400個の石のみでできた全長728ｍ、163ものアーチから成る水道橋でして、その大きさと重厚な佇まいで見る者を圧倒しますね。その大きさは、下を歩いている人間と比較してもらうと少々わかっていただけるのでは。まさに人類の英知の結晶とも言うべき遺跡のひとつであります。それにしても英知のその先にある技術とは、なんと美しいものなんでしょうか。

 

 

 

 

1世紀後半には人類はすでにこうして石を高度な技術でもって利用し生活を豊かにているのですから驚きでありますが、その石を使った建造物が今なお2000年もの月日を経ても存在しこの美しくさでありますから、当時の人間のレベル技術や美術のレベルの高さにも驚きます。

 

そんな水道橋を眺めていてふと思い出したんですよ。日本の城の石垣ことを。こちらは、昨年伺った郡上八幡城。石垣は「打込接（うちこみはぎ」でしょうか。石の一つ一つをパズルのように形を整え積み上げ、今もなおこの美しさ。石垣だけが残った城址跡は結構存在いたしますので、石垣マニアの気持ちもなんだかわかってきたような。

 

 

どちらの遺跡も当時の名もない人々が、危険や重さと格闘しながら、ひとつひとつ美しく積み上げてた石であります。姿か形こそ違いますが、どちらも人々が石と向き合ってきた熱意や当時の奮闘する様子はいかに？などなど想像力を掻き立たせます。

 

石のことなんてふだんそんなに考えたとことないのですが、たぶん、ただそこにあって「なんか使えるんじゃね？。」と、人が手に取ったところからすべては始まったのでしょう。

 

そんな石が、紀元前のピラミッドをはじめ紀元1世紀のこのローマ水道橋の時代にはすでにここまできて、今なお現存。日本の私たちも石舞台古墳や城址の石垣もそうですがここまできますと、もはや、ただのころがっている「石」ではなくなってきております。先ほども述べましたが、石が技術を超えて芸術になってきていますよね。それもこれも人の知恵や手によるもの。

 

これらを眺めておりまして、大丈夫か？レベルの妄想に浸ってしまいましたが、それと共にこれらの遺跡は、これからの2000年も残って欲しい強く思えてまいりました。

The other day, I received a picture of Spain from a family member who is visiting the country. This is the Roman aqueduct in Segovia, Spain. The aqueduct was built in the late 1st century during the Roman Empire in order to bring water to the highest point of the city, and it seems to be one of the best-preserved structures from that period, although aqueducts from that time remain in many places in Europe. Of course, it is registered as a World Heritage site. The aqueduct is 728 meters long and consists of 163 arches, made of only 20,400 stones without using any adhesives. The size of the aqueduct is overwhelming to look at due to its sheer size and massive appearance. It is truly one of the relics that should be called the crystallization of human wisdom. But what a beautiful thing is the technology that lies beyond wisdom.

 

It is amazing that in the latter half of the 1st century, human beings were already using stone with advanced technology to enrich their lives, but the fact that the structures made of stone still exist and look so beautiful after 2000 years makes me wonder about the high level of technology and art of the people of that time.

 

I was looking at the aqueduct when I suddenly remembered something. I was reminded of the stonewalls of Japanese castles. This is Gujo Hachiman Castle that I visited last year. The stone walls are “Uchikomi-hagi,” or “Uchikomi-grafted. Each stone was shaped and piled up like a puzzle, and it still looks beautiful today. There are many castle ruins where only the stonewalls remain, so I think I understand how stone wall enthusiasts feel.

 

Both ruins are stones that were beautifully piled up one by one by the nameless people of that time, struggling with danger and weight. Although the shapes and forms are different, the enthusiasm of the people who faced the stones and their struggles in those days are also different. It stirs the imagination.

 

I usually don’t think about stones that much, but maybe they were just there and people picked them up and thought, “Maybe they can be used for something…”. I guess it all started when a person picked up a stone and thought, “Maybe there is a use for it.

 

Such stones were already here at the time of the Roman aqueduct in the 1st century A.D., including the pyramids in B.C., and they are still here today. In Japan, as in the case of the Ishibutai burial mounds and the stone walls of castle ruins, stones have come this far and are no longer just “stones” that have been lying around. As I mentioned earlier, stone has surpassed technology and become an art form. This is also due to the wisdom of people and their hands.

 

I was looking at these things and wondering, “Are you all right? I was immersed in a level of delusion, but at the same time, I strongly hope that these ruins will remain for the next 2,000 years.

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

 

先日スタッフYより、「春のニュースをたくさんお届けいたします」とありましたが、わたくしの春探しセンサーも働き始めました。

無意識に始まるとはこういうことだな・・・と感じた1枚がこちら。

 

 

 

たまたまお散歩中に発見したのですが、もうすでに”桜”が咲いていたんです！！

梅の間違いなんじゃないかと思い、Google大先生に写真の識別を頼んでみたのですがどうやらGoogle大先生も同じく”桜”と認識致しました。

 

この時期の桜といえば、本州で一番早く咲く桜として有名な「河津桜」。

伊豆の温暖な気候と早咲きの特色を生かし、毎年２月上旬から開花しはじめ約１か月を経て満開となります。ソメイヨシノのようにパーッと咲いてすぐ散ってしまうという桜ではないんです。

ちなみに開花するまでの間も含めて長く楽しめる桜として知られている河津桜、実は観光客泣かせのワガママな桜とも言われいます。

その理由が、開花予想がとても立てづらいためなのだとか…。

早い時にはお正月頃に開花が始まったり遅いと２月中旬以降に咲いたりなど、ここ数年はばらつきがあり予想が立てづらくなっているそうです。

 

そして河津桜の原木は伊豆急河津駅から天城山へ向かって１．２㎞の地点、河津町田中の飯田さんという方がある日、河津川沿いの冬枯れ雑草の中で芽吹いている桜の苗を見つけてお庭に植えたのが最初なのだそうです。

当時は約１か月もの間咲き続ける桜は珍しく近隣の注目の的だったようでして、その後この桜を増殖し１９７４年に河津桜と命名され、翌年に飯田さんが植えた木が原木として指定されたそうです。

 

このようなお話を知りますと、道端に咲いているお花や草などもそのまま通り過ぎてしまうだけでなくしっかり見てみなければいけないとつくづく感じます。

これからの季節、春の日差しをたっぷりと受けた色とりどりの花々が咲く頃を迎えますので楽しみですね。

Kawazu cherry trees are located 1.2 km from Izukyu Kawazu Station toward Mt. Amagi. One day, Mr. Iida of Tanaka, Kawazu Town found a cherry seedling sprouting among the dry weeds along the Kawazu River. It seems that it was the first time to plant it in the garden. At that time, cherry blossoms that bloomed for about a month were rare and attracted the attention of the neighborhood. It seems that it was specified as.

 

When I hear stories like this, I really feel that I should take a closer look at the flowers and grass that are blooming on the roadside, not just passing by. 今日はバレンタインデーでございますね。

 

今日結ばれるカップルがどれくらいいるのか考えるとワクワク致しますね。

 

 

 

降られてしまった方もたくさんいるかもしれませんが、告白したその勇気がいつか財産になるような気がするので、色々な変化と成長のある素敵な日だなと感じております。

 

Nはバレンタインデーの前にチョコを食べ過ぎて、当日になったらお腹いっぱいになってしまいました。

 

これから知人が毎回大量にもらってくる、義理チョコを頑張って消費する日々が待っております。

 

チョコもだんだん試行錯誤して色々な進化をしておりまして、Nが先日いただいたチョコはお茶の味が致しました。

 

美味しいのですが、チョコの食感なのに味はお茶なのでなんとも不思議な感覚でございました。

 

知人にあげたチョコは大地の味がしたそうで、美味しかったのか不安でございます。

 

昔カカオ９５％のチョコを間違えて買ってしまい、チョークを食べている感覚に陥ったことがあるので、そんな感覚かもしれません。

 

メゾンカカオやオードリーやsnowなど人気商品も食べてみたかったのですが、行列に嫌気がさして断念したので、来年は早めにゲットしたいと思います。

 

最近はチョコだけではなくクッキーなども人気だそうで、マツコの番組でクッキー缶特集をしておりました。

 

知人もお菓子缶が大好きで、山のようにつまれているのですが、見ているだけで幸せな気分になります。

 

中身もただ無造作に敷き詰められているだけではなく、形がぴったりパズルのようにはまっていたり、目で見ても食べても楽しめるアートのようになってきております。

 

 

西暦269年のこの日、兵士の自由結婚禁止政策に反対したバレンタイン司教が、時のローマ皇帝の迫害により処刑されました。

 

その後、この日がバレンタイン司教の記念日としてキリスト教の行事に加えられ、恋人たちの愛の誓いの日になりました。

ヨーロッパでは、この日を「愛の日」として花やケーキ、カード等を贈る風習がございます。

 

女性が男性にチョコレートを贈る習慣は日本独自のもので、1958(昭和33)年にメリーチョコレートカムパニーが行った新宿・伊勢丹でのチョコレートセールが始まりだそうです。

 

1年目は3日間で3枚、170円しか売れなませんでしたが、現在ではチョコレートの年間消費量の4分の1がこの日に消費されると言われるほどの国民的行事となりました。

 

 

バレンタインについて調べておりましたら、お菓子それぞれに意味があるということがわかりました。

 

チョコレートの意味は、「あなたと同じ気持ち」だそうです。

バレンタインのお返しとしてのチョコレートには、「これまでと同じ関係でいましょう」という意味合いが込められております。

日頃の感謝や信頼の気持ちから贈る義理チョコや友チョコに、同じくチョコレートで応えることは、すなわち「あなたと同じ気持ち」というメッセージになるんだとか。

 

マロングラッセの意味は、「永遠の愛」だそうです。

マロングラッセは、栗をまるごと砂糖で煮つめ、ブランデーで香り付けを施した高価なお菓子でございます。

マケドニアの英雄であるアレキサンダー大王が最愛の妻のために贈ったとされたことから「永遠の愛を誓う証」として男性が女性に贈るお菓子へと発展したんだとか。

ロマンチックですね。

 

ティラミスの意味は、「元気付けて」だそうです。

イタリアの代表的なお菓子、ティラミスは、イタリア語では Tiramisuとなります。

 

これを文節に分けると「Tira→引っ張る」「Mi→私」「Su→上に」となり、“Tirami su!” すなわちイタリア語で「私を引っ張りあげて」という意味になります。

この「引っ張り上げて」という言葉が転じて、「私を元気付けて」となったそうです。

 

キャンディの意味は、「あなたが好き」だそうです。

キャンディには「あなたが好き」という意味があります。
「子どものお菓子」というイメージが強いキャンディですが、口に入れてからなめ終わるまでには時間がかかり、また口の中にフレーバー（味）が長く残ることから「愛が続く」という前向きな関係が連想されるようです。

昔の職場でよくあめちゃんを配っていたのですが、あれは好きをふりまいていたのですね。

大阪は、大阪のあめおばちゃんの好きのおかげで人情味あふれているのかもしれません。

 

クッキーの意味は、「友達でいよう」だそうです。

サクサクの食感が「ライト＝軽い」友人関係をイメージしているのだとか。
バレンタインデーやホワイトデーの贈り物としてのクッキーの由来を知っている人は少ないかもしれませんが、ジンクス的な意味合いを考えると意中の相手にはクッキー以外のものをプレゼントしたほうがいいいかもしれません。

 

マカロンの意味は、「あなたは特別な人」だそうです。

カラフルでかわいいマカロン。
マカロンはフランスの代表的なお菓子だと思われがちですが、実は発祥はイタリア。
語源はパスタの一種であるマカロニからきているそうです。
高級感のあるお菓子であることから「特別な人にしか贈らない」といった意味合いが込められるようになりました。

 

キャラメルの意味は、「安心する存在」だそうです。
これはキャラメルを口の中に入れると溶けていく感覚があり、それでも確かに存在感は残る、といったキャラメルが持つ特徴に由来しています。
もちろん「あなたのことが好き」という意味にもとれますが、キャンディのような「はっきりとした存在」とは違い、「ほかの人とは似て否なる位置付け」という風にも捉えられます。

 

バームクーヘンの意味は、「幸せが続きますように」だそうです。
何層にも重なってできているバームクーヘン。
「生地が重なっている」→「幸せを重ねる」→「幸せが続きますように」という意味になるようです。
バームクーヘンが結婚式の引き出物によく使われるのも、この理由から来ているようですね。

 

マドレーヌの意味は、「仲良くなりたい」だそうです。
マドレーヌはキリスト教の巡礼のシンボルであり、中世の通行証でもあったホタテ貝の形に焼き上げるのが本場の伝統です。
日本では昔から二枚貝の形は夫婦円満や縁結びなどを連想させ、縁起が良いとされています。
貝殻がぴったりと合わさる様子が「円満な関係」を表し、それが転じて「もっと仲良くなりたい」という意味が生まれました。

 

マシュマロの意味は、「あなたのことが嫌い」だそうです。
これは驚きですね。

マシュマロが入っているチョコもありそうです。
マシュマロは「口の中に入れるとすぐ溶けてしまう」ということで、「消えてほしい」→「嫌い」という意味が込められているといわれているんだとか。

しかし、ほとんどの方が知らないので大丈夫だと思いますが、中にはそういう意味の方もいるのかもと思うと少し怖いですね。

N ate too much chocolate before Valentine’s Day and was full on the day.

 

From now on, I’m waiting for the days when my acquaintances give me a lot every time, and I’ll do my best to consume it.

 

The chocolate has evolved in various ways through trial and error, and the chocolate that N received the other day tasted like tea.

 

It’s delicious, but it has a chocolate texture, but it tastes like tea, so it was a strange feeling.

 

I heard that the chocolate I gave to an acquaintance had the taste of the earth, so I’m worried if it was delicious.

 

A long time ago, I accidentally bought 95% cocoa chocolate and felt like I was eating chalk, so maybe that’s how I feel.

節分が過ぎまして、なんだか寒さは残っているのですが、日の入りも遅くなり、そして日差しがどことなく春めいてきたようなかんじがいたしますね。節分をこえるといよいよ私の「春探し」が無意識にはじまるのですが、今年も早速センサーが働いております。

 

いや、センサーに頼らずとも確実に春は近づいてきておりまして。

先日ローカルニュースにて、愛知県内一の梅林のある知多市佐布里の梅がそろそろ咲き始めているというニュースを耳にいたしました。

 

私も初めて知ったこの佐布里の梅ですが、じつは昔から名所のようですね。昔は、佐布里一帯に薄ピンク色の花が咲き、多くの観梅客が訪れにぎわいをみせた時代もあったようですが、昭和34年の伊勢湾台風でかなりの被害を受け、さらに愛知用水の佐布里池の建設により水没し、佐布里の梅はごく一部が残るのみとなってしまったようであります。

 

その後、地元や県の協力で苗が植えられ、今では25種類、約6,000本にまで増え、見頃は2月中旬から3月中旬まで。薄ピンク色の佐布里梅、白色で一重の白加賀、小枝が緑で花が青みがかった白色の青軸などを楽しむことができる梅の名所のようですが、今の今までなぜ知らなかったのか…。

 

また、「佐布里梅」は、明治の初めに鰐部亀蔵わにべかめぞう氏が、桃の台木に接ぎ木して増やしたと言われておりまして、厚い果肉と小さい核が特徴で、梅干しに適しているとのこと。さらに、「佐布里梅」は、令和元年10月10日に知多市天然記念物にも指定されているようですね。

 

よって、今年の私の春探しは、こちらの「佐布里の梅」もリストに入りましたので、トップシーズンをめがけて訪れたいと思っております。

 

そんな今朝でありますが、ちょうど塩釜付近に立ち寄った際にもしや梅が咲いているかも？と、期待をして塩釜神社に立ち寄ってみました。梅、咲いておりましたよ！。

 

 

 

 

たくさんのお宮参りのご家族の中のお祝いの風景の中に、凛と咲いた暖かいピンク色の梅がすでに咲いておりましたよ。そんなお祝いの風景の中、ただ一人怪しく、あーでもないこーでもないと撮影を続けていたわけですが、個人的には今朝は大変気分のよい「春探し」の始まりでありました。

Setsubun has passed, and although it is still somewhat cold, the sun is setting later and the sunlight seems to be turning spring-like. After Setsubun, my “search for spring” finally starts subconsciously, and this year, my sensor is working immediately again.

 

No, even without relying on sensors, spring is surely approaching.

The other day, I heard on the local news that the plum trees in Saburi, Chita City, where the largest plum grove in Aichi Prefecture is located, are beginning to bloom.

 

This is the first time for me to know about the plum blossoms in Saburi, but it seems that it has been a famous place for a long time. In the past, there was a time when the whole area of Saburi was crowded with many plum watchers who came to see the light pink flowers in bloom, but the area was considerably damaged by Typhoon Isewan in 1959, and further submerged by the construction of Saburi Pond for Aichi Irrigation.

 

Since then, seedlings have been planted with the cooperation of the local and prefectural governments, and the number of ume trees has grown to about 6,000 in 25 varieties, with the best time to view them being from mid-February to mid-March. It seems to be a famous plum blossom spot where visitors can enjoy the light pink Saburi Ume, the white, single-petaled Shirakaga, and the white, bluish-white Aokushi, whose twigs are green and whose flowers are bluish-which is why I did not know about it until now…

 

It is also said that “Saburi Ume” was grown by Mr. Wanibe Kamezo Wanibe at the beginning of the Meiji era (1868-1912) by grafting it onto a peach rootstock, and is characterized by its thick pulp and small kernel, making it suitable for pickled plums. Furthermore, “Saburi Ume” was designated as a natural monument of Chita City on October 10, 2028.

Therefore, I have included “Saburi Ume” on my list of places to visit in my search for spring this year, and I would like to visit there for the top season.

 

This morning, when I stopped by Shiogama, I wondered if the plums might be in bloom. I stopped by Shiogama Shrine in the hope that the plum blossoms might be in bloom. Plum blossoms were in bloom!

 

Amidst the festive scenery of many families visiting the shrine, the warm pink plum blossoms were already in bloom with dignity. Amidst such a festive scene, I was alone, suspiciously continuing to take pictures, but personally, this morning was a very pleasant beginning of my “search for spring.

手相占いNもしてまいりました。

 

占い嫌いの知り合いには「手相なんかただの手のしわだから」と言われてしまいましたが、そんなことはありません。

いつもいいことが多いのですが、今回は悪いことばかり言われてしまいました。

 

厄年のせいなのか、Nの日頃の行いが悪いのかわかりませんが、Nの厄払いのために、どうか古美術風光舎にお品物をお譲りくださいませ。

 

先日、のんほいパークに行って参りました。

 

お目当てはもちろん大好きなあざらしでございます。

 

今回は機嫌が悪かったのか、ずっと喧嘩しておりました。

 

歯をむき出しにして喧嘩するあざらしを初めてみました。

 

凶暴な姿も可愛いです。

 

筒の中でくるくる回るあざらし、何時間でも見ていられます。

 

tiktokの方にも動画をのせますので、ご興味のある方は是非ご覧ください。

 

シャチのショーを見たのですが、シャチはあざらしを食べるので、なんとも複雑な気持ちです。

 

真冬に最前列でシャチの水を浴びていた子供たちが、風邪をひかないか心配ですが、楽しそうで何よりです。

 

動物繋がりですと、東山動物園のコアラの赤ちゃんの名前が決まったそうです。

 

その名も、だいふく、おもち、ししお。

 

美味しそうで可愛らしくて笑ってしまいました。

 

そして、スマトラトラのクンデが２月１０日亡くなったそうです。

 

３０分くらい眺めていたこともあるくらい虎が好きなので、とても残念です。

 

2017年12月には、日本国内で飼育しているスマトラトラで最高齢となり、１７歳で亡くなったクンデ。

 

かっこいい毛並みで堂々と歩く姿を、間近で見れたあの時間はとても幸せでした。

ご冥福をお祈りいたします。

 

 

さて、今日は建国記念日でございます。

 

休みの日にかぶってしまって、学生や祝日休みの皆様は少し残念でございますね。

 

建国記念日は、神武天皇の即位日である紀元節がもとになっております。

 

明治維新直後の1873年(明治6年)に2月11日が紀元節と定められました。

 

これは、日本書紀に記されていた神武天皇の即位日である「辛酉年春正月、庚辰朔」を新暦に置き換えたものでございます。

 

「建国記念の日」は、「建国をしのび、国を愛する心を養う日」として、1966（昭和41）年に定められました。

もうすぐバレンタインということで、風光舎名古屋店スタッフ間でもチョコレートの話題で盛り上がっております。

名古屋といえば、「アムール・デュ・ショコラ」。

ジェイアール名古屋高島屋で開催されるチョコの祭典、もう行かれた方も多くいらっしゃるのではないでしょうか。今年はメイン会場とサテライト会場などといくつかの会場に分かれて開催しているそうでして、世界中から選りすぐりのブランドが集結するという甘い物好きからしたら天国のような幸せ空間です。

 

 

コラボレーションスイーツや会場限定スイーツなどのお楽しみも多々ありますが、会場に行かれた方でチョコレートと同じくらい盛り上がりますのが、有名なシェフにサインをもらったり写真を撮ってもらうということ。

「アムール・デュ・ショコラ」の公式HPにはシェフの来場日という項目もありまして、各国のシェフが会場入りする日は特にシェフに会いに来られる来場者で溢れかえります。

ちょうど私が参戦した日もメゾンカカオの石原シェフや、シェ・シバタの柴田シェフがいらっしゃいまして、チョコレートにサインをしている最中でして‥少し気になりましたがかなりの人で溢れておりましたので、サインをもらうのは断念致しました。

 

 

そしてまたものすごい行列が…クラブハリエとオードリー。

 

どこが列の最終なのかもわからないほど並んでいてもちろん今回は断念しましたが、一度どちらもいただいたことがあり、やはり人気な理由がわかるほどの美味しさ。

年に１回贅沢に甘い物を罪悪感なく食べられる日ですので、行列に並んででも買って食べる価値ありです。

 

 

そして「アムール・デュ・ショコラ」がなぜここまで人気なのか。

実は名古屋人の気質が大きく影響しているのだとか。

たまたま調べていたら、ある記事を発見しましてそこには、「名古屋は少し別格」と書かれていました。

名古屋人の特徴として、「スターを盛り上げ、大事にする」ということが挙げられるそうでして、それこそこの間行ったときも、大きな看板に”○○シェフがご来場しています”と知らせてくれていて、サインの嵐という場面を見かけました。これは名古屋会場以外の、東京会場などではあまり見られない光景なのだそうです。

 

また、もう一つの特徴として見栄えするチョコレートのパッケージが大人気で、名古屋人は派手好みということがこの「アムール・デュ・ショコラ」にも影響しているそうです。

たしかにわたくしも、もちろん味も大切ですが、同じくらい、いやそれ以上に見た目もかなり重要視していて、自分が名古屋人ということを再認識させられました。

 

 

とにかく、毎年楽しみにしているチョコの祭典「アムール・デュ・ショコラ」、お目当てのチョコレートが売り切れる前に最後の追い込みでまた行きたいと思います（笑）

 

 

 

p.s.こちらのチョコレートは大河ドラマ大好きでお馴染みのスタッフYよりいただきました。

スタッフYも「アムール・デュ・ショコラ」参戦したようでして、それはもうものすごい人で圧倒されてしまったのだとか…。

 

 

 

見た目といい、味といい、とろけてしまうほどの美味しさ…食べてしまうのがもったいなくて、一口ずつ噛みしめながらいただきました。ありがとうございます。

I’m sure many of you have already been to the chocolate festival held at JR Nagoya Takashimaya. This year, the event will be held in several venues, such as the main venue and satellite venues, and it will be a happy space like heaven for sweets lovers with the best brands gathered from all over the world.

 

There are many things to enjoy, such as collaboration sweets and venue-limited sweets, but what is as exciting for those who go to the venue as chocolate is getting a famous chef’s signature or taking a picture.

 

On the official website of “Amour du Chocolat”, there is also an item about the chef’s visit day, and on the day when chefs from each country enter the venue, it will be overflowing with visitors who come to see the chefs. Chef Ishihara from Maison Cacao and Chef Shibata from Chez Shibata were there on the day I entered the contest, and they were signing chocolates… I was a little worried, but there were quite a few people. I gave up on getting his autograph.

 

And another huge queue…Club Harrier and Audrey.

Of course, I gave up this time because I didn’t know which one was the last in the line, but I’ve had both once, and I can understand why they’re so popular. It’s the once a year day when you can eat sweets luxuriously without feeling guilty, so it’s worth waiting in line to buy it and eat it.

 

And why is “Amour du Chocolat” so popular? In fact, it is said that the character of the people of Nagoya has a great influence. When I happened to look it up, I found an article that said, “Nagoya is a little different.”One of the characteristics of Nagoya people is that they “enliven and cherish the stars”. I saw a scene called a storm of signatures. It seems that this is a sight that can not be seen much at the Tokyo venue other than the Nagoya venue.

 

Another characteristic is that the attractive chocolate packaging is very popular, and the fact that Nagoyans like flashy things seems to have influenced this “Amour du Chocolat”. It’s true that taste is of course important to me, but the appearance is just as important, or even more important.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to the chocolate festival “Amour du Chocolat” every year.

瀬戸焼　豆皿

 

先日、HNKの「歴史探偵」という番組の撮り溜めを観ておりまして。以前ブログにも登場致しました織田信長の居城であった清州城の発掘調査の模様や桶狭間の闘いのストーリなどなど、愛知県在住民にとっては馴染み深い地域やその様子が登場しておりました。

 

以前ブログに登場したあの素晴らしい清州城はご存知の通り最近再建されたもの。実はその近くにてどうやら元々築城された場所やその近辺の発掘調査が今でも続いているようです。

その発掘現場からやはり、当時の「瀬戸焼」の破片が見つかっているようでして、スタジオでは愛知県出身の俳優佐藤二朗さんがその破片を手にしておりました。破片ではありますが綺麗に釉薬で焼かれしっかりしたもので劣化した様子はありません。信長によって地元尾張のブランド品化に成功した「瀬戸焼」やはりその発信地の清州でもちろん使われていたようですね。

 

ブランド品？と、言われてもピンとこなと思われるでしょうが、この瀬戸焼のルーツはすでに縄文時代からこの地域で焼かれていたものですが、ブランド品と言われるものではありませんでした。

そんな焼物に鎌倉時代のころに日本初の釉薬（ゆうやく・うわぐすり）がかけられた焼物（陶器）が瀬戸に出現し、瀬戸独特の特徴が現れ始めます。1200～1300度くらいの温度で焼きあげた後にそのままでは吸水性の高かった素地に釉薬をかけるようで、当時どこもやっていなかった画期的な製法だったようです。そして、この耐水性が瀬戸物を一気にトップ製品に押し上げていきます。

 

同時、その頃は日宋貿易も盛んな頃。需要があるとなるとどんどんと大陸からの陶器も日本に入ってくるわけでして、中国や朝鮮からの上等品に負けてはならんと生き残りのこりをかけていたこのもあるのでしょう、様々な工夫をこらしながら瀬戸焼は誕生します。

 

そして天正二年、信長が瀬戸に焼き物の特権を与えるという保護政策（登録商標？特許申請みたいな？）に乗り出し、瀬戸の焼物＝瀬戸物を「瀬戸物」と呼ぶという事もここで定着。同時期に大流行しはじめた茶の湯の効果もあり、この頃から瀬戸物にも様々な特徴ある物が出現し「瀬戸物」は、いよいよブランド品となっていきます。この信長の「作る」「使う」「価値をつける」「欲しい」「儲かる」この流れすべてが、みんな知ってるみんな欲しい瀬戸物としてブランド化していったんでしょうね。

 

なにせ、織田信長の敵であり三年半も苦しめ続けた浅井長政の同盟者だった朝倉義景は地元の越前焼は出土量が3倍にのぼるというのに、このブランド品（瀬戸焼・美濃焼・常滑焼）を買っていたというのだから面白い話であります。そして、敵国だろうがなんだろうが、品物を売った利益の内のいくらかは税として商人から織田家の懐に納められるのですから、信長の名刺には「戦国武将」の肩書の横に兼「戦略コンサル」もつけてもよいかもです。

 

とにもかくにも「瀬戸物」のその名とブランドは現在もしっかり残っておりますので、信長の長期戦略は大成功であったことはみんな納得であります。

 

それにしてもどの時代もどうしようもなくブランド品が欲しくてたまらない人は一定数いたようですね。瀬戸物の茶碗を手にした朝倉義景はどんな顔をしていたのか大変気になるところではございます笑。

The other day, I was watching a program called “History Detective” on HNK. The program featured the excavation of Seishu Castle, which was the residence of Oda Nobunaga, and the story of the battle of Okehazama, which I have mentioned in a previous blog entry.

 

As you know, the wonderful Cheongju Castle that appeared in a previous blog entry was recently reconstructed. In fact, it seems that excavations are still ongoing in the area where the castle was originally built and its vicinity.

It seems that fragments of Seto ware from that time have been found at the excavation site, and Jiro Sato, an actor from Aichi Prefecture, was holding one of the fragments in his hand in the studio. Although it was a shard, it was glazed beautifully and was solid, showing no signs of deterioration. Seto ware” was successfully branded as a local product in Owari by Nobunaga Nobunaga, and of course it was used in Cheongju, the place of origin of Seto ware.

 

A brand product? Seto ware has been produced in this area since the Jomon period, but it was not a brand-name product.

After firing at around 1,200 to 1,300 degrees Celsius, glaze was applied to the highly water-absorbent base, which was a revolutionary process that was not practiced anywhere else at the time. It seems to have been a revolutionary manufacturing method that was not practiced anywhere else at the time. This water-resistant property quickly made Seto ware the top product in the industry.

 

At the same time, trade between Japan and the Sung dynasty was flourishing at that time. The demand for Seto ware was so great that pottery from the continent was coming into Japan, and Seto ware was born with various innovations, probably because the Japanese were determined not to lose out to the superior products from China and Korea.

 

In the middle of Tensho 2, Nobunaga granted Seto the privilege to produce pottery under the protection policy (like applying for a registered trademark or patent? In the middle of Tenjo 2, Nobunaga embarked on a policy of protection (like applying for a registered trademark or a patent?) The term “Setomono” (Seto’s pottery) was also established at this time. The tea ceremony, which began to be popular around the same time, also had an effect, and from this time on, Setomono started to have various characteristics and became a brand-name product. Nobunaga’s “make,” “use,” “add value,” “want,” and “make money” all became a brand of Setomono that everyone knows and everyone wants.

At any rate, it is an interesting story that Yoshikage Asakura, who was an enemy of Nobunaga Oda and an ally of Nagamasa Asai who had been tormenting him for three and a half years, bought these branded products (Seto ware, Mino ware and Tokoname ware) even though the local Echizen ware was three times more in quantity than that excavated. And, whether in an enemy country or not, a portion of the profits from the sale of the goods was paid as tax from the merchants to the pocket of the Oda family, so Nobunaga’s business card might also have the title of “Strategic Consultant” next to that of “Warlord.

 

Anyway, the name and brand of “Setomono” remain firmly in place today, so we can all agree that Nobunaga’s long-term strategy was a great success.

 

I wonder what kind of face Yoshikage Asakura would have had when he got a Setomono teacup in his hand.

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

本日の名古屋はとっても暖かく一足早い春のようなお天気。コートなしでも日中は過ごせそうですが、夜になるとまだまだ冷えるようなので油断は禁物ですね。

 

2月８日、今日は「針供養の日」ということで、この日は裁縫を休んで、古い錆びた針や折れた針など使えなくなった縫い針を集めて社寺に納めたり、豆腐やこんにゃくなどの柔らかいものに刺したりして供養を行う日なのだそうです。

 

針供養は２月８日と、１２月８日とあり西日本では１２月８日に行うところが多く、東日本は２月８日に多く行われます。

ちなみに名古屋は２月８日に行われるところが多いのだとか。

ただ、地域に関わらず両日行うところもあるようでして、この日付の違いには「事始め、事納め」の捉え方が影響していると言われています。

 

この「事始め、事納め」というのは、コトノカミという神様を祀るおまつりで、「事」という字は神様への祈りの文である祝詞を入れた器をつけた木を高く捧げて祖霊を祀るという意味の「史」と、吹き流しを組み合わせた形で、「まつり」を意味しているのだそうです。

コトノカミのまつりは、１２月８日と２月８日の２回あり、１２月８日が「事始め」で２月８日が「事納め」になる場合とその逆になる場合があります。

この違いはコトノカミが「年神様」か「田の神様」かという違いでして、この時に行う「事」が新年に迎える神様の事なのか、田畑を耕し農耕に勤しむ人の事なのか、という違いで日付が逆転するそうです。

 

そして、この２月８日と、１２月８日のことを「事八日（ことようか）」や、「事の日」などと呼び、この「事八日」の日にお世話になった道具を片付け、感謝するという風習があります。

この風習は定かではないようですが、一つの言われとして中国の「社日（土地の神様をまつる日）に針線（針仕事）を止む」という習わしに起因するというそうなのです。

そして平安時代には貴族の間で行われるようになり、江戸時代に針の労をねぎらい裁縫上達を願うまつりとして広がっていきました。

 

当時から針仕事は女性にとって重要な仕事だったため、折れた針や古くなった針に感謝の気持ちを込めて柔らかい豆腐やこんにゃくや餅に刺し、川に流したり、土に埋めたり、神社に納めたりして供養をしたという最初に書いた針供養の起源につながってくるということですね。

 

そしてなぜ、豆腐などの柔らかいものに刺すのかといいますと、これまで硬い生地などを刺してきた針に対し、最後は柔らかいところで休んでいただきたいという気持ちや供養としての気持ちがあると言われています。

針に対しても労いの気持ちを忘れないというところが、日本人の奥ゆかしさといいますか‥良いですよね。

また、「事八日」には針供養以外にも風習がありまして、妖怪や一つ目小僧などの悪神が家を訪れるとされていたため、魔除けとして目籠をくくりつけた竹竿やニンニクなどを庭先に置いたりして、「お事汁」という汁物を食べて魔除けをしたのだそうです。

そして身をつつしむためにその日は針仕事をしてはいけない、山に入ってはならないなどの言い伝えもあるそうですよ。

 

様々な背景がありますが昔からの言い伝えは現代にも引き継ぎながら、伝統を受け継いでいきたい思います。

Koto no Kami is a festival dedicated to the god Koto no Kami. It seems that it means “festival” by combining “history”, which means to enshrine, and streamers. The Kotonokami Festival is held twice, on December 8th and February 8th, and there are cases where December 8th is the “start of things” and February 8th is the “end of things”, or vice versa. This difference is whether Kotonokami is “Toshigami” or “Tanogami”, and whether the “things” to be done at this time are about the gods who welcome the new year, or about the people who plow the fields and work hard at farming. It seems that the date is reversed by the difference.

 

February 8th and December 8th were called ‘Kotoyoka’ or ‘Kotoyoka’, and I was indebted to them on these ‘Kotoyoka’ days. There is a custom to put away the tools and give thanks. It seems that this custom is not certain, but one theory is that it originates from the Chinese custom of “stopping needlework on Shajitsu (the day when the gods of the land are celebrated)”. In the Heian period, the festival began to be held among the nobility, and in the Edo period, it spread as a festival to pray for the labor of the needle and to pray for the improvement of sewing.

 

Since needlework was an important work for women from that time, broken or old needles were pierced into soft tofu, konnyaku, or rice cakes, poured into rivers, buried in soil, or dedicated to shrines as a sign of gratitude. It is connected to the origin of the needle memorial service that I wrote at the beginning that the memorial service was held by.

 

As for the reason why the needles are used to pierce soft materials such as tofu, it is said that there is a desire to have the needles, which have been used to pierce hard materials, rest in a soft place at the end, or as a memorial service. increase. The fact that they don’t forget to treat their needles with kindness is one of the modest aspects of the Japanese people, isn’t it?

 

In addition to the needle memorial service, there were other customs on Koto 8th, and it was said that evil spirits such as yokai and hitotsume-kozō would visit the house, so as talismans against evil spirits, bamboo poles with eye baskets attached, garlic, etc. It is said that they placed them in the garden and ate a soup called “Okoto-jiru” to ward off evil spirits.
