涼しくなり、秋服を買わねばと新調したところ、連日の猛暑で半そでに逆戻りでございます。

 

クーラーともおさらばしたはずが、すぐに再起動です。

 

季節の変わり目、体調を崩される方も多いのではないでしょうか。

 

Nはフルーツが大好きで毎日食べないと生きていけないので、美味しいフルーツがたくさんあるこの季節が大好きでございます。

 

シャインマスカット、無花果、柿、梨などなど今日は何を食べようか悩みます。

 

 

 

以前岐阜に行った際に、遠めにみかんがたくさんなっていると思っていたら、近づくと柿の木でございました。

 

知り合いの家にも毎年柿がなっていたのですが、いつもカラスの餌になっていて、もったいないなと覆っておりました。

 

私のようにフルーツ好きの家の庭に柿の木がなればいいのに、と毎回思います。

 

 

話は変わりますが、先日念願のリアル脱出ゲーム、謎解きに行って参りました。

 

知り合いに謎解き大好きな方がいて、いつも話をきいていたのですが、中々勇気がありませんでした。

 

正直に申しますと、、、、、とても楽しかったです！！

 

非日常な空間に閉じ込められ、普段使わない頭を存分に使い、他人と協力し、謎を解いていくのがこんない楽しいとは思いませんでした。

 

参加する前は、「頭がよくないし、足を引っ張るかも。全然わからなくて楽しくないかも。もっと若い子がするものでは？」と思っておりました。

しかも、意外に１時間で何千円とかかるので、ちょっと値段が高いなあと心配しておりました。

 

 

しかし、始まってみると、そんなのは全く関係ありません。

この楽しさを体験できるなら、むしろ安いくらいでした。

 

 

実際に年齢層は２０代～３０代が多いそうですが、年配の方もいらっしゃるそうです。

 

認知症予防などにもよさそうですね。

 

Nは意外に妄想力、想像力が豊かだからかひらめきにたけていることがわかりました。

 

しかし、そのひらめきを実際に生かしたり、そこから答えに導くのが中々苦手なようで頭が固くなっているようです。

 

ひらめき以外にも知識もいりますし、コミュニケーション能力も必要になるのでまさにサバイバルだな感じました。

 

さらに、極限状態になると人間は素が出るもので、普段の自分が出てがさつになったりするので、それほど仲良くない方とご一緒するときは注意が必要でございますね。

 

逆に、謎解きがきっかけでさらに仲良くなることもありそうです。

 

 

何か嫌なことが起こった時に、Nはその物事が頭から離れず、ずっと考えてしまいがちです。

 

もっと考えなければ、何か解決策、対策を考えなければと昔は負のループに陥っておりました。

 

１０代２０代は自分のコンプレックスについて四六時中考えておりました。

 

今は、考えても仕方ないこと、何も考えずに夢中になれることをすることなど、切り替えが大切だと学びました。

 

その点、謎解きはピッタリかもしれません。

 

古美術に関連した謎解きはないものか？と考えておりましたら、興味深い記事を発見いたしました。

 

古美術自体が、歴史を紐解く謎解きで、ミステリーだという、大学の教授の記事でございました。

 

当たり前と言えば当たり前のことなのですが、リアル脱出ゲームのことを考えすぎて、学者や研究者の方が普段されている仕事が、謎解きなのだということを忘れておりました。

 

しかも、こちらは制限時間も答えもございません。

N loves fruits and can’t live without eating them every day, so I love this season when there are so many delicious fruits.

When I went to Gifu before, I thought there were many mandarin oranges in the distance, but when I got closer, I saw persimmon trees.

 

A friend of mine used to grow persimmons every year, but they were always eaten by crows, so I covered them up because it was a waste.

 

Every time I think it would be great if there was a persimmon tree in the garden of a house that likes fruits like me.

 

 

 

On a different note, the other day, I went to a real escape game that I had been longing for, solving mysteries.

 

I had an acquaintance who loved solving mysteries, and I always listened to him, but I didn’t have the courage to do so.

 

To be honest, it was a lot of fun! !

 

I never thought it would be so much fun to be trapped in an extraordinary space, use my brain that I don’t normally use, cooperate with others, and solve mysteries.

 

Before I joined, I thought, “I’m not smart, and it might hinder me. I don’t understand it at all, and it might not be fun. Isn’t it something younger people do?”

Moreover, it costs thousands of yen for one hour, so I was worried that the price was a little high.

 

 

 

But once you start, it doesn’t matter at all.

If you can experience this fun, it was rather cheap.

 

 

 

In fact, most of the customers are in their 20s and 30s, but there are also older people.

 

It seems to be good for dementia prevention.

 

I found out that N is surprisingly good at inspiration because he has a lot of delusion and imagination.

 

However, it seems that he is not good at actually making use of that inspiration and leading to an answer from there, and his head seems to be stiff.

 

In addition to inspiration, knowledge is also required, and communication skills are also necessary, so I felt that it was just survival.

 

Furthermore, in extreme situations, people will show their true nature, and their normal selves will come out and become rude, so you need to be careful when you’re with people you don’t get along with very well.

 

On the other hand, it seems that solving a mystery can lead to even better friendships.

 

 

 

When something bad happens, N tends to keep thinking about it.

 

In the past, I was stuck in a negative loop, thinking that I had to think more about it, and that I had to come up with some kind of solution or countermeasure.

 

In my teens and twenties, I was thinking about my complex all the time.

 

Now, I have learned that it is important to switch between things that can’t be helped even if you think about it, and things that you can be absorbed in without thinking about anything.

 

In that respect, solving the mystery may be perfect.

 

Are there any puzzles related to antiques? As I was thinking, I found an interesting article.

 

There was an article by a university professor who said that antique art itself is a mystery that unravels history.

 

It’s a matter of course, but I’ve been thinking too much about real escape games and forgot that the work that scholars and researchers usually do is solving riddles.

 

Moreover, there is no time limit or answer here.

このところの台風続きで本当に落ち着かない時節柄ではあるのですが、台風が去っていくごとに朝晩がぐっと涼しくなり過ごしやすくなったことは嬉しいですね。

 

日没も早くなり日が暮れるとコオロギでしょうか、外で静かに鳴くその虫の音にほっと癒されたりいたりと一時のことを思いますと、本当に過ごしやすくなってまいりました。

そんな秋の夜長に、先日、少し窓を開けカーテンの隙間から見える月と涼しげな虫の音を聞きながらお布団に溶けながらいつの間にか眠りにつくということをやってみたのですが、これがまた最高でして。「平安時代みたいな時間の使い方だな笑」と、ひとりニヤッと笑っておりましたが、意外といいんですよ。

 

本日はそんな秋の夜長に夜空を見上げながら読んでいただきたいつぶやきでありますが、以前から個人的に気になっております「はやぶさ２」の続編でございます。

 

先日、日本の探査機やぶさ２が地球に持ち帰った小惑星リュウグウの試料の中に約４６億年前の「太古の水」が液体の状態で存在していたことが分かったということを、東北大や米航空宇宙局（ＮＡＳＡ）などの国際研究チームが発表したとのニュースが報道されておりましたよね。

 

私には詳しいことは分かりませんが、この小惑星リュウグウの持ち帰ったお土産の研究結果がずっと気になっておりまして、何かしら驚くような発見があるのではないかと心待ちにしておりました。

 

これまでの分析では液体ではなく水の痕跡が検出されてはおり、また、これまで液体の水については、地球上で見つかった隕石の中からは確認されていましたが、宇宙で採取した物質から発見されたのは世界で初めてだということです。 成分としては炭酸水で塩や有機物が混ざっていて、サンプル表面の形状などを踏まえると、リュウグウの元となった天体の地下内部には、地球の海に似た環境が存在していたと考えられるということです。

 

チームリーダー東北大学・大学院理学研究科（地学専攻）中村智樹教授によりますと、 「確認された水には、塩や有機物が含まれており、例えば地球の海の起源や有機物の起源に直接かかわる証拠を今回発見できた」 とのこと。またサンプルからは、リュウグウの元となった天体が太陽系の外側で形成された痕跡が見つかった一方、太陽の近くの1000℃以上の環境でできる粒子も発見されており、こうしたことなどから、かつて太陽の近くでできた粒子がはるか遠く離れた太陽系の外側まで移動し、他の物質と大規模に混合して、リュウグウの元となった天体が誕生したと考えられるということです。

 

さらに、その天体がその後地球と火星の間にあたる現在の位置まで移動し、別の天体と衝突して分裂するなど、現在のリュウグウができるまでの一連の歴史を解き明かすための根拠が見つかったとのことですので、リュウグウはいったいどこを旅していたのでしょうか。

 

となると、水は地球だけに存在するわけではないのか？とも思えてきたり、地球外生物はやはり存在するのかとか様々な素人的な疑問が湧いてまいりまして、はやぶさ２、小惑星リュウグウ、そして研究者の方々にさらなる期待をする一小市民。

 

生命誕生の謎だけではない様々な宇宙の情報をたくさん乗せた小さな惑星、リュウグウ。それにしても当初「リュウグウ」と名前を付けたこの小惑星に、ほんとうに水の痕跡があったとはただの偶然ではありますが、夢のある偶然のように思えるのは私だけでしょうか。

 

今夜は、そんなリュウグウにも思いを馳せながら、「水をたたえた星が何処かにあるんじゃないか」なんて思いながら夜空を見上げながら秋の夜長楽しんでみようかと思っております。

３連休２日目名古屋市は晴れ。３１度と気温も上がりじめじめした暑さですが、日陰に入ると涼しい風が吹き少しずつ過ごしやすくなってきたと思います。

 

昨日からの一連の大雨により、新幹線をはじめ、鉄道の運行にも影響が出ているところもあり、３連休で移動を予定されている方など心配ですが、どうか皆さま残りの休日が充実致しますように。そしてお仕事をされている方おつかれさまです。

 

さて、鉄道の運行といえば、２０２２年９月２３日から長崎―武雄温泉との間を結ぶ、新しい新幹線「西九州新幹線」が開業されました。

 

武雄温泉・長崎間は線路延長約６６ｋｍをフル規格（標準軌）により整備し、武雄温泉駅で博多・武雄温泉間を運航する在来線特急列車と同じホームで乗り換えを行う「対面乗換方式」により運行されるそうです。

１日あたり４７本運行して、博多駅～長崎駅間、最速所要時間１時間２０分だそうです。早いですね～。名古屋～新大阪へ「のぞみ」に乗って向かうような、乗って休む間もなく到着というような感じですね。

 

そんなことはさておき、列車名は「かもめ」、最新型車両「N７００S」が導入予定で、長崎発着の特急「かもめ」はなくなり、新幹線「かもめ」に移り変わります。

 

車両デザインは「九州らしいオンリーワンの車両」をコンセプトに、”西九州から吹く暖かくて優しい風を世界に届ける”という思いが込められているのだとか。

インテリアデザインも和洋折衷、クラシックとモダンが組み合わされた懐かしくて新しい空間が表現されているそうです。内装や外装にもこだわった「かもめ」の歴史を少し調べてみますと…

 

客車列車としては、昭和１２年７月１日に、特急「富士」、「櫻」、「燕」に続き、「鴎」が登場いたしました。東京－神戸間で運転されていましたが、戦時体制となった昭和１８年に一旦廃止されましたが、昭和２８年３月には復活しました。活躍の場を東海道本線から山陽本線に移し、京都～博多間で活躍していました。

 

昭和３６年１０月、後に「サン・ロク・トオ」と呼ばれる全国白紙時刻改正が実施され、「かもめ」は当時最新鋭のキハ８０系８２形を使用した気動車特急に生まれ変わりました。当初は京都～長崎・宮崎間（京都～小倉間併結）を運転し、その後運転区間の変更はあったものの、関西と九州を結ぶ主要な特急のひとつに変わりはありませんでした。

 

昭和５０年３月に、山陽新幹線博多開業に伴い気動車特急「かもめ」が廃止となりましたが、４８５系電車を使用したエル特急「かもめ」として再度復活。

博多～長崎間を結ぶ特急として定着すると、国鉄分割民営化後は、JR九州の看板列車の一つとして発展、平成になると赤色の車体にリニューアルされ、様々な愛称が付けられました。

赤色のかもめ以外に、「白いかもめ」の愛称で親しまれている、白を基調とした外装に振子式走行装置を装備した８８５系電車、また「かもめ」として一緒に運転しているのがDXグリーン席を連結した７８７系電車です。

 

戦前の特急「鴎」から引き継がれた特急「かもめ」は、各時代を代表する特急列車のひとつとして今もなお活躍し続けているのですね。

 

１０月から新型コロナの水際対策もさらに緩和されるようですし、まだまだ油断は禁物ですが、早く西九州新幹線体験してみたいです。

＃西九州新幹線＃かもめ

 

 

さて、みなさま、こんにちはスタッフNでございます。

 

一難去ってまた一難、また台風が来ているようですね。

 

世間は３連休ですが、フェスやイベントなども中止になり、落ち込んでいる方も多いのではないでしょうか。

 

残念ながらNは仕事でございます。

 

雨の覚王山を眺めながら雨音の中での仕事も、風情があってよいものでございます。

 

最近Nはyoutubeを見ながら、ダンスやら筋トレやらをしているのですが、知人に教えてもらったボディコンバットというものをしてみました。

 

が、きつすぎて５分もたたず心臓がバクバク、限界でございました。

 

なんだかリビングの床もきしみはじめ、Nの前にリビングの床がぬけるかもしれませんので、ここいらでやめておこうと思います。

 

けしてトレーニングをさぼっているわけではありません、床が心配ゆえでございます。笑

 

さて、先日沖縄に行ってきた知り合いから、沖縄のペアグラスの写真が届きました。

 

夫婦でお揃いにしたそうです、素敵でございますね。

 

 

見事なターコイズブルー、沖縄の海を思い出しそうです。

 

綺麗な水色と言えば、今日は海王星の日だそうです。

 

水金地火木土天海冥は知っているのですが、それぞれの惑星の特徴はわかりません。

 

Nはセーラームーンのあのキャラクターだな、くらいに思っております。

 

海王星のキャラクターは、セーラーネプチューン、海王みちる。

 

子供のころは、そんな知的で上品な才色兼備な女性を夢見ておりましたが、実際はドジで泣き虫な主人公の月野うさぎよりになってしまいました。

人生そう思い通りにはいきませんね。

 

セーラームーンの話は置いといて、せっかくなので海王星について調べてみました。

 

海王星（かいおうせい、英語: Neptune ）は、太陽系の第8惑星で、太陽系の惑星の中では一番外側を公転しております。

 

直径は4番目、質量は3番目に大きく、地球の17倍の質量を持ち、太陽系のガス惑星としては最も密度が高いです。

 

海王星は、直径がやや大きい天王星の質量（地球の15倍）よりもわずかに大きく、164.8年かけて公転しており、太陽からは平均30.1 au（約45億 km）離れております。

 

名称は、ローマ神話における海神ネプトゥーヌスに因んで命名され、惑星記号「♆」はネプトゥーヌスが持つ三叉槍を様式化したものでございます。

 

肉眼で観望することは出来ず、太陽系において唯一、経験的観測でなく数学的予測によって発見された惑星でございました。

 

フランスの天文学者アレクシス・ブヴァールは、天王星の軌道の予期せぬ変化から、天王星の軌道が未知の惑星の重力による摂動のために生じているという推論を導きました。

 

その後、ユルバン・ルヴェリエによって予測された範囲内の位置で1846年9月23日にヨハン・ゴットフリート・ガレが望遠鏡を用いて発見いたしました。

 

海王星の衛星では最大のトリトンは、その後間もなく発見されました。

 

現在では他に13個の衛星が知られているものの、地球から海王星までの距離が大きく地上からの観測が困難なため、それらの存在が明らかとなったのは20世紀以降のことでした。

 

1989年8月25日、宇宙探査機ボイジャー2号が海王星を訪れ、フライバイを行いました。

 

ハッブル宇宙望遠鏡や補償光学機能を備えた大型の地上望遠鏡の登場によって、近年は遠方からの更なる観測が可能になっているそうです。

 

水やメタン、アンモニアなどの「氷」の割合は大きいものの、木星や土星と同様に海王星の大気は主に水素やヘリウム、そして微量の炭化水素と窒素で構成されております。

 

しかし、天王星と同様にその内部は氷と岩石で構成されております。

 

そのため通常は、天王星と海王星は木星、土星との違いを強調して天王星型惑星（巨大氷惑星）とみなされております。

 

 

海王星の青い外観は、最も外側の領域に存在している微量のメタンによって作り出されているとされてております。

 

霞んだ、比較的特徴を欠いている天王星の大気とは対照的に、海王星の大気は活発で、明確な変化が見られる気候を持ちます。

 

例えば、1989年にボイジャー2号がフライバイを行った時点では、南半球に木星の大赤斑に類似した大暗斑と呼ばれる模様が存在していました。

 

これらの気象パターンは、太陽系のどの惑星よりも強い持続的な風によって引き起こされ、観測された風速は2100 km/h（580 m/s）にもなります。

 

太陽からの距離が遠いため、海王星の外側の大気は太陽系で最も温度の低い場所の1つであり、雲頂での温度は55 K（-218 ℃）に近いのに対して、惑星の中心部の温度は約5400 K（約5100 ℃）になっていると考えられています。

 

海王星は微かで断片的な環を持っており、この環は1984年に発見され、後にボイジャー2号の観測でも確認されました。

 

望遠鏡を通じて記録されたこれまでで最も初期の観測記録の一部である、1612年12月28日と1613年1月27日にガリレオ・ガリレイが描いた図面には、海王星が位置していた地点が記されていました。

 

しかし、どちらの場合もガリレオは海王星を、合を起こしている木星の近くにある恒星と誤って認識していたとされております。

 

したがって、ガリレオは海王星を発見したとはみなされておりません。

 

 

暴風の横じまや大暗斑を見せる海王星は、「青い木星」とも言えるのです。

先日、エリザベス女王の国葬の様子をTVにてみておりましたが、全世界に放映されイギリスでの視聴率はなんと国民の４０％の方とのこと。また、沿道にお別れをしに集まった方々もものすごい数でしたね。日本でもご覧になられた方も多かったのではないでしょうか。

 

急なご逝去にもかかわらず、以前から準備をなさっていたとのことですので、すべての儀式などの執り行われ方は、とても粛々と執り行われているように感じ取れましたが、生前、女王も相当のご準備をされていたのでしょう。

 

国葬は、世界の要人やイギリス国内の皇室関係者や早々たる方々がいらっしゃいましたのたいへんな厳戒態勢のもとでピリッとした国葬になるのではと思ったのですが、ところどころにエリザベス女王の後を引き継ぐものや国民へのお心遣いやチャーミングなお人柄がわかるようなところもおありで、心温まるお葬式でもありましたね。

 

お棺のお花などはチャールズ国王が選んだもので「追憶」の花ことばを持つローズマリーや、女王の結婚式のブーケのお花を育てられたギンバイカのお花をお使いになったりと、他にも母に対する深い愛情を感じさせるものとして話題になったり、聖歌はこれまでの女王にゆかりのある聖歌が歌われていたり、ウインザー城では、女王の愛犬だった2頭のコーギー犬もひつぎの到着を待っていたりと、所々に女王のお人柄が垣間見えたりも致しました。

 

また、イギリス国教会の最高位の聖職者であるカンタベリー大主教による説教の中で、カンタベリー大主教は「21歳の誕生日に、生涯、公務に身をささげると宣言したのはよく知られている。これほどまでに約束が守られたことはほとんどない」と述べ、だれもが女王のその７０年の重みを感じたのではないでしょうか。

 

私がとても印象的たっだのは、国葬の最後に演奏されたバグパイプでありました。これも女王がお考えになられていたようですが、バグパイプの奏者の方が教会の少し高いところで演奏をしておりまたが、途中から演奏をしながらゆっくりと袖へと退出。ウェストミンスター寺院の中に鳴り響いておりましたバグパイプの音が、徐々に徐々にゆっくりと消えていきました。

時代はきっとこのような流れので、これまでもこれからも移っていくのでしょうが、エリザベス女王の国葬はそれを生きている間にはっきりと実感できた一時だったような。また、私も移り行く時代の中のほんの一瞬生きているのだけなの人なのだなとも感じました。

 

それにしても私とここにいる古美術等。彼らも私よりももっと長くももっとたくさんの時代の移り変わりを眺めてきたことでしょうから、ここまでに至った経緯がちょっと気にはなります。

今となっては何も語らず静かにここに佇んでおりますが、彼らは私よりもこれからずっと先の時代をも眺めていくでしょうから、「これからもいろいろ見ていておくれよ。」と、今日はそんな彼らに託しておきたい気分でもありました。

台風１４号が温帯低気圧に変わり、とても秋らしい陽気。昨晩はエアコンを消して快適に眠ることができました。

ただ秋分の日から３連休は、日本の南海上で新たな熱帯低気圧が発生する予想で、大雨をもたらす恐れがあり注意が必要だそうです。

せっかくの３連休ですが、雨予想・・以前ブログでも書かせていただきましたが、雨の日は大掃除にもってこいの日なので、皆さまもリフレッシュ兼ねて大掃除をしてみてはいかがでしょうか。

さて。ついに行ってきました。念願の「ボテロ・ふくよな魔法」。

 

 

生誕９０年、巨匠ボテロの大規模展が東京で始まり、ついに名古屋でも７月１６日から始まりました。とっても楽しみにしていたのですが、想像をはるかに超えるくらい面白かったです。

 

以前のブログをまだ読んでいただいてない方もいらっしゃると思いますので、簡単にご紹介させていただきます。

南米コロンビア出身の美術家、フェルナンド・ボテロ（１９３２年～）。１９５０年代後半から欧米で高く評価され、今日では現代を代表する美術家の一人に数えられています。

ボテロに注目が集まったのは１９６３年、ニューヨークのメトロポリタン美術館で、レオナルドダヴィンチの「モナ・リザ」が展覧されたとき、モダンアートの殿堂、ニューヨーク近代美術館（MoMA）のエントランスホールにボテロの「１２歳のモナ・リザ」が展示されたことに始まるそうです。

 

ボテロの作品の特徴づけているのは、あらゆるかたちが膨らんでいるということ。ボテロのモチーフは、人物も動物もふくよかで、果物は熟れきっているかのように膨らみ、楽器や日用品さえも膨張しています。

観る人を惹きつけてやまない、ふくよかでユーモア、時に風刺を交えた独特な作風、そして作品自体の大きさにも圧倒されてしまいました。

そして、本展では２０２０年制作の「モナ・リザの横顔」が世界初公開され、その存在感と９０歳を迎えた今もなお、美術家として探求し続ける気迫の伝わる１枚でした。

 

初期から近年までの油彩、水彩・素描作品など全７０点すべて鑑賞し、ボテロ展のオリジナルグッズなどもいくつか購入して帰ってきました。スタッフMの自宅の冷蔵庫には今まで訪れた展示会で購入したマグネットたちが飾ってあるのですが、また１つ大切なものが増えました。

What characterizes Botero’s work is that all forms are inflated. In Botero’s motifs, both figures and animals are plump, fruits swell as if they are ripe, and even musical instruments and daily necessities swell. I was overwhelmed by the size of the work itself, as well as the unique style of the work, which is full of humor, sometimes mixed with satire, and which attracts the viewers.

 

In this exhibition, “Mona Lisa’s profile” produced in 2020 was unveiled for the first time in the world, and it was a piece that conveyed its presence and the spirit of continuing to explore as an artist even at the age of 90. We viewed all 70 works, including oil paintings, watercolors, and drawings from the early days to recent years, and purchased some original goods for the Botero exhibition. 台風も過ぎ去り、気温もちょうどよく風が気持ちよくなりましたね。

 

穏やかで過ごしやすい秋、一番好きな季節かもしれません。

 

今日は、全身グレーに白靴下をはいたおしゃれな猫ちゃんに会うことができました。

 

野良猫たちは台風大丈夫でしたでしょうか、心配です。

 

先日知人から、飛行機から見た沖縄の空の写真を送っていただきました。

 

 

Nは生まれて一か月で飛行機に乗ったそうで、飛行機が大好きでございます。

長距離移動はさすがにきついですが、数時間のフライトなら毎日でも乗りたいくらいです。

この景色を見るためにお金を払ってもいいですね。

 

さて、今日は「空の日」でございます。

 

飛行機、空、というとジブリ映画の「風立ちぬ」が思い浮かびますね。

 

内容をあまり覚えてはいないのですが、女性目線で見ると少し気になる部分がたくさんあったのを覚えております。

 

逆に知人の男性は「風立ちぬ」が大好きで、絶賛しておりました。

こんにちは、スタッフNでございます。

 

先日のスタッフのブログで紹介されていたbohemianvoodooを聞きながら、ブログを書いております。

 

学生時代に、八ヶ岳に野外映画とパラグライダーをしに行ったことがあるのですが、そんな素敵な音楽堂があることを今まで知らずにおりました。

 

いつか行ってみたいと思います。

 

さて、台風も近づいてまいりまして、こちらも風が強くなってまいりました。

 

先ほど、強風の中散歩している犬がおりまして、飼い主は大変そうでしたが、犬はいつもより強い風に大喜びでございました。

 

今朝出勤いたしましたら、とても可愛らしい子犬の掛軸がございました。

 

筆の柔らかい感じと丸々とした体がなんとも言えません。

 

この子のおかげで、仕事がはかどります。

 

 

 

今日はこちらの子犬の作者の川合 玉堂（かわい ぎょくどう）について調べてまいりました。

 

1873年〈明治6年〉11月24日 – 1957年〈昭和32年〉6月30日）明治・大正・昭和時代の日本で活動した日本画家でございます。

 

本名は 川合 芳三郎（かわい よしさぶろう）で、画号は当初「玉舟（ぎょくしゅう）」、間もなく「玉堂」に改め、晩年は終の棲家と同名の「偶庵（ぐあん）」を別号として用いました。

愛知県葉栗郡外割田村（現在の一宮市木曽川町外割田）にて、1873年（明治6年）11月24日、筆墨紙商の長男として生まれます。

 

なんと、知人の家の近くに、こんな素敵な作家が昔住んでいたとは、運命を感じます。

 

1881年（明治14年）、一家は岐阜市に移住致します。

絵には12歳頃から親しむようになったといいます。

 

1886年（明治19年）、京都の画家・青木泉橋が岐阜に来住すると、夫人も翠蘋と号する美人画家で、芳三郎少年は青木夫妻の知遇を得て大いに刺激を受けたそうです。

 

1887年（明治20年）・14歳を迎える年の9月、青木泉橋の紹介状を持って京都に上り、四条派・望月玉泉の門に入り、「玉舟」の号を得ます。

 

1890年（明治23年）11月になると円山派・幸野楳嶺の画塾「大成義会」に入り、同年、『春渓群猿図』『秋渓群鹿図』の連作を第3回内国勧業博覧会に出品して早くも入選を果たすと、これを機に「玉堂」に改号致しました。

1896年（明治29年）・23歳の時に上京して（東京へ移住して）橋本雅邦に師事します。

 

岡倉覚三（天心）、雅邦、横山大観らの創立した日本美術院には1898年（明治31年）当初より参加。

 

1900年（明治33年）頃からは私塾「長流画塾」を主宰しております。

 

1907年（明治40年）には第1回文展（第1回文部省美術展覧会。cf 日展#開催歴 ）の審査員に任命され、また、1915年（大正4年）からは東京美術学校日本画科教授、1917年（大正6年）6月11日には帝室技芸員に任じられ、日本画壇の中心的存在の一人となります。

 

1931年（昭和6年）にはフランス政府からレジオンドヌール勲章を授与されました。

 

1933年（昭和8年）にはドイツ政府から赤十字第一等名誉章を授与されました。

 

1940年（昭和15年）には日本政府から文化勲章を授与されました。

第二次世界大戦中の1944年（昭和19年）、かねてより写生で頻繁に訪れていた東京都西多摩郡三田村御岳（現・青梅市御岳）に疎開し、住居を「偶庵（ぐあん）」、画室を「随軒（ずいけん）」と称しました。

 

戦後も同地の自然を愛する玉堂はそのまま定住し、同地にて1957年（昭和32年）6月30日、心臓喘息で死去いたしました。贈・正三位・勲一等旭日大綬章（没時叙勲）。

 

神奈川県横浜市金沢区には1917年（大正6年）頃に建設した別邸「二松庵」があり、横浜市指定有形文化財として月1回の一般公開もなされていましたが、2013年（平成25年）10月16日に発生した火災で全焼してしまったそうです。

 

二松庵庭園は2016年（平成28年）11月4日付で横浜市の名勝に指定されました。

 

日本の四季の山河と、そこで生きる人間や動物の姿を美しい墨線と彩色で描くことを得意とし、玉堂のもとには、長野草風、池田輝方、池田蕉園、松本姿水、山内多門、高橋玉淵、今中素友、田中針水、石渡風古ら多くの門人がおりました。

 

玉堂は、1944年（昭和19年）から死去する1957年（昭和32年）までを東京都西多摩郡三田村御岳（現・青梅市御岳）で過ごしました。

 

玉堂の死後、画家がこの地で愛した御岳渓谷に美術館を設置しようという声があがりました。

 

香淳皇后の支援のもと、諸団体、地元有志、ならびに全国の玉堂ファンから多大な寄付を受け、死後4年を経た1961年（昭和36年）5月に玉堂美術館が開館しました。

Today, I have researched about Gyokudo Kawai, the creator of this puppy.

His real name was Yoshisaburo Kawai, and his painting name was initially “Gyokushu,” but soon changed to “Gyokudo.” I used it as a separate number.

 

Born on November 24, 1873 (Meiji 6) in Sotowarita Village, Haguri District, Aichi Prefecture (currently Sotowarita, Kisogawa-cho, Ichinomiya City) as the eldest son of a calligrapher and paper merchant.

 

It feels like fate that such a wonderful writer used to live near my acquaintance’s house.

 

In 1881 (Meiji 14), his family moved to Gifu City.

It is said that he became familiar with painting from around the age of 12.

 

In 1886 (Meiji 19), when Izumihashi Aoki, a painter from Kyoto, came to Gifu, his wife was also a beautiful painter called Suiban, and it is said that young Yoshisaburo was greatly inspired by the courtesy of Mr. and Mrs. Aoki. is.

 

In September of 1887 (Meiji 20), the year he turned 14, he traveled to Kyoto with a letter of introduction from Izumibashi Aoki, entered the gate of Gyokusen Mochizuki of the Shijo school, and received the name ‘Gyokufune.’

 

In November 1890 (Meiji 23), he entered Taisei Gikai, a painting school of the Maruyama school Kono Bairei, and in the same year completed his third series of paintings, “Shunkei Zaru Zu” and “Shukei Guroku Zu”. After exhibiting at the Industrial Expo and being selected as a winner, we changed the name to “Gyokudo” on this occasion.

 

In 1896, at the age of 23, he moved to Tokyo and studied under Gaho Hashimoto.

 

From 1898 (Meiji 31), he participated in the Japan Art Institute founded by Kakuzo Okakura (Tenshin), Gaho, and Taikan Yokoyama.

 

Since around 1900 (Meiji 33), he has been presiding over the private school “Osaryu Painting School”.

 

In 1907 (Meiji 40), he was appointed as a judge of the 1st Bunten (the 1st Ministry of Education art exhibition. cf Nitten #Holding history), and from 1915 (Taisho 4) he was appointed as a judge of Tokyo art. He was appointed as a professor at the school’s Japanese painting department, and on June 11, 1917, was appointed as an Imperial Household Artist, becoming one of the central figures in the Japanese painting world.

 

In 1931, he was awarded the Legion of Honour by the French government.

 

In 1933 (Showa 8), the German government awarded him the Red Cross First Class Medal of Honor.

 

In 1940 (Showa 15) he was awarded the Order of Culture by the Japanese government.

 

 

In 1944 (Showa 19) during World War II, he evacuated to Mitake, Mitamura, Nishitama-gun, Tokyo (currently Mitake, Ome City), where he had frequently visited for sketching, and moved to Guan. , the studio was called ‘Zuiken’.

 

Even after the war, Gyokudo, who loved the nature of the area, settled there and died of heart asthma on June 30, 1957 (Showa 32). He received the Grand Cordon of the Rising Sun, the Order of the Rising Sun, the First Third Rank, and the Order of the Rising Sun (conferred at the time of his death).

 

In Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, there is a villa “Nishoan” that was built around 1917 (Taisho 6), and it was opened to the public once a month as a Yokohama City Designated Tangible Cultural Property, but in 2013 ( Heisei 25) It seems that it was completely destroyed by the fire that occurred on October 16th.

 

Nishoan Garden was designated as a scenic spot of Yokohama City on November 4, 2016.

 

He specializes in depicting the mountains and rivers of Japan in four seasons and the figures of humans and animals that live there with beautiful ink lines and colors. , Tamabuchi Takahashi, Sotomo Imanaka, Harimizu Tanaka, and Fuko Ishiwatari.

 

From 1944 until his death in 1957, Gyokudo lived in Mitake, Mitamura, Nishitama-gun, Tokyo (now Mitake, Ome City).

 

After the death of his Gyokudo, there were calls to establish an art museum in the Mitake Valley, which the artist loved in this area.

 

With the support of Empress Kojun, the Gyokudo Museum opened in May 1961, four years after his death, with a large amount of donations from various groups, local volunteers, and Gyokudo fans nationwide. .

 

I would love to visit the Gyokudo Museum someday.
