本日はここ風光舎に新たに仲間入りしたお品の紹介です。

上の画像だと見えづらいと思いますが、古銅製の鹿に腰を下ろした寿老人の置物。

実はこちら、上の寿老人がガボっと外せて、香炉になっているのです。

寿老人のお顔はなんとも微笑ましい表情をされていますが、鹿の立ち姿がなんともクールで神話や童話に出てきそうという印象です。

香炉なので煙が出る穴が背中辺りにあるのだろうと思いきや、こちらのお品は寿老人の右袖口が空いているのです。

なんともスマートで小粋なお作りですね。

前方に香りが漂ってきて、なお良さそうです。

 

寿老人は中国宋の時代の伝説上人物、日本では七福神の一柱として知られています。

福禄寿（こちらも七福神）と同じく南極老人星の化身であり、にこやかな微笑みをたたえ、手には巻物を括り付けた杖、団扇や桃などを持ち、牡鹿を従えた姿が一般的です。

寿命はなんと1500年だとか！

団扇は難を払い、桃は長寿のしるし、鹿もまた長寿の象徴とされているため、長寿延命・富貴長寿の神として信仰されているとのこと。

見るからに縁起の良い、いい風をもたらしてくれそうな雰囲気です。

 

明治期のものですが、つるりと磨き上げられたブロンズで状態もいいと思います。

スタッフ I はこのような格好のいい立ち姿の動物が好きです。

この鹿は「千と千尋の神隠し」のハクが龍になった時の凛々しい顔つきに似ていて、風貌は「もののけ姫」のシシ神さまがすっくと立っている姿に似ているなと感じています。

神道では鹿が神の使い”神使”と考えられているとのこと。

古事記に登場する天迦久神（あめのかくのかみ）は鹿の神さまだそうです。

現代でも春日大社や厳島神社で鹿が飼われているのはこういうことなのですね。

 

今日は穏やかなお顔の寿老人と、動物なのに頼れる存在を醸し出している鹿さまに見守られて過ごした一日となりました。

Actually, here, the Jurojin above can be removed and it becomes an incense burner.

The face of Jurojin has a very smiley expression, but the standing deer is so cool that I thought it would appear in myths and fairy tales.

Since it is an incense burner, I thought that there was a hole around the back where smoke came out, but this item has the right cuff of Jurojin open.

It’s really smart and stylish.

The scent drifts forward and looks even better.

 

Jurojin is a legendary figure in the Song Dynasty of China, and is known as one of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japan.

Like Fukurokuju (also the Seven Lucky Gods), he is an incarnation of the Old Man of the South Pole. It is a target.

The lifespan is 1500 years!

Uchiwa is a sign of longevity, peaches are a sign of longevity, and deer are also a symbol of longevity, so they are worshiped as the god of longevity and longevity.

It is an auspicious atmosphere that seems to bring a nice breeze.

 

It’s from the Meiji era, but I think it’s in good condition with smooth and polished bronze.

Staff I likes such cool standing animals.

This deer resembles the dignified look of the Haku of “Spirited Away” when it became a dragon, and I feel that its appearance resembles that of the Shishi god of “Princess Mononoke” standing upright. I will.

In Shinto, deer are considered to be gods’ messengers.

The god of Ameno Kaku, which appears in Kojiki, is the god of deer.

This is the reason why deer are kept at Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Itsukushima Shrine even today.

 

Today was a day spent watching over a gentle-faced Jurojin and a deer who relies on animals.
