昨日、「夏の風物詩」のお話を書かせていただきましたが、さっそく夏のような気温になりました。

午前中、歩き回っていたのですが、暑すぎて半袖を解禁してしまいました。

まだ4月だから・・半袖は早い。と言い聞かせていたのですが、さすがに暑すぎて半袖デビュー…

夏になったら何を着るんだ？という話になってしまいます。（昨日は春を楽しもうと言っていたはずなのにもう夏の心配…）

周りを見ていても、半袖の方を多く見かけて、皆さま考えることは同じかな？と思いました。

そんな猛暑を控える今の季節から始めた方が良いことがあります。

私は今日初めて知ったのですが、皆さま「暑熱順化（しょねつじゅんか）」ってご存知ですか？

「暑熱順化」とは、気温が高い環境の中で体を動かし、暑さに強い身体を作ることです。

体が暑さに慣れることで、少しずつ夏本番の暑さにも強くなるそうです。

私たちは運動や仕事などで体を動かすと、体内で熱が作られて体温が上昇します。体温は上がると、汗をかくことによる「気化熱」や、心拍数の上昇や皮膚血管拡張によって体の表面から空気中に熱を逃がす「熱放散」で、体温を調節しています。

この体温の調節がうまくできなくなると、体の中に熱がたまって体温が上昇し、「熱中症」が引き起こされます。

つまり「暑熱順化」が進むと、発汗量や皮膚血流が増加し体温調節がしやすくなる、ということです。

では、「暑熱順化」のために、どんなことをするかというと…

屋外でできることとして、階段をなるべく使って体を動かすようにすることや、ウォーキングやジョギングなどの有酸素運動を行うことです。大体３０分を目安に少しずつでも行うことで約２週間後には暑さに体が慣れてくると言われています。

次に屋内でできることとして、ストレッチを約３０分行ったり、湯船にしっかり浸かることが非常に効果的と言われています。

湯船に浸かるポイントとしては、４０度前後のお湯に肩までつかり、１０～１５分を目安に入浴します。額に汗がじんわり滲んでくるくらいが目安ですが、体調が悪くなったらゆっくり湯船からあがってください。

最初は連続して入らなくても、発汗したら１０分が経過していなくても一旦お湯から出るようにする、このように汗をかくくらいの入浴を毎日１回行うことで「暑熱順化」をすることができようそうです。（汗を沢山かく入浴法ですので入浴前にはコップ一杯程度の水を飲み、お風呂から上がった後も水分補給を忘れずに）

あとは今「整う」で話題のサウナなども効果的のようですので、様々な方法で暑さに慣れていくということが大切のようですね。

この「暑熱順化」を１番に取り入れてるのが、消防隊員。

火災が発生すれば真夏であっても防火衣、ヘルメット等を着装し活動する消防隊の方々は、毎年夏前のそれほど気温が高くない時期から訓練に取りかかるそうです。

この訓練では真夏の酷暑での現場活動に備えて、早い段階から体を暑さに慣れさせていくこと、そして災害現場での熱中症の発生を未然に防いでいるそうです。

とても説得力があります。

身体が暑さ慣れしていないこの時期。自分の体調をみながら早めに「暑熱順化」を始めて、自分の身は自分で守っていくことが大切ですね！

Yesterday, I wrote a story about “summer tradition”, but the temperature was like summer.

I thought.

It may be better to start from this season, which is about to refrain from such a heat wave. I first learned about it today, but do you all know “heat acclimatization”?

“Heat acclimatization” is to move your body in a hot environment and build a body that is resistant to heat. As your body gets used to the heat, it will gradually become stronger in the heat of summer.

When we move our bodies through exercise or work, heat is generated in our bodies and our body temperature rises. When the body temperature rises, the body temperature is regulated by “heat vaporization” caused by sweating and “heat dissipation” that releases heat from the surface of the body to the air by increasing the heart rate and dilating skin blood vessels. When this body temperature cannot be regulated well, heat builds up in the body and the body temperature rises, causing “heat stroke”. As “heat acclimatization” progresses, the amount of sweating and skin blood flow increase, making it easier to regulate body temperature.

Then, what to do for “heat acclimatization” …

What you can do outdoors is to use the stairs as much as possible to move your body and to do aerobic exercise such as walking and jogging. It is said that you will get used to the heat in about two weeks by doing it little by little, taking about 30 minutes as a guide.

The next thing you can do indoors is to stretch for about 30 minutes or soak in a bathtub. As a point to soak in the bathtub, soak your shoulders in hot water of around 40 degrees Celsius and take a bath for 10 to 15 minutes as a guide. As a guide, sweat will slowly ooze on your forehead, but if you feel sick, slowly get out of the bathtub. Even if you do not enter continuously at first, you should get out of the hot water once after 10 minutes of sweating. By taking a sweaty bath once a day like this, “heat acclimatization” It seems that you can do it. (Because it is a bathing method that sweats a lot, drink a glass of water before bathing and do not forget to rehydrate after getting out of the bath)

After that, it seems that the hottest saunas are also effective now, so it seems important to get used to the heat in various ways.

Firefighters are the first to incorporate this “heat acclimatization”. If a fire breaks out, even in the middle of summer, the fire brigade members who wear fire protection clothing, helmets, etc. will start training every year before the summer when the temperature is not so high. In this training, it is said that the body is accustomed to the heat from an early stage in preparation for the field activities in the midsummer heat, and the occurrence of heat stroke at the disaster site is prevented. It’s very convincing.

This time when the body is not accustomed to the heat. It is important to start “heat acclimatization” early while observing your physical condition and protect yourself!

今朝、情報番組を見ていたら、「３年ぶりに今年はビアガーデンを再開します」という嬉しいお知らせを目にしました。

コロナ渦で一時は営業を中止しなければいけないお店も多くありましたが、今朝のインタビューを受けていたお店の方は、今年の夏からは営業を再開し、席数を減らし、客同士の間隔をあけて久しぶりに営業するそうです。去年も営業していたビアガーデンもあるようですが、3年ぶりに営業を再開するといったお店のうれしい情報を聞くと、少し胸が高鳴ります。

やはり私の夏の風物詩といえば、ビアガーデンと花火大会です。

私自身、ビールは普段たくさん飲む方ではないのですが、ビアガーデンに行くと普段はあまり飲まないビールもどんどん進んでしまいます…また屋外で飲むビールって美味しいんですよね。

最近は、とってもおしゃれな雰囲気のグランピング風だったり、きれいにライトアップされた空間のビアガーデンも多いそうですよ。

今年こそはあっつい夏を吹き飛ばすくらいキンキンに冷えたビールを、そんな流行のビアガーデンで飲みたいです。

皆さまの夏の風物詩はなんですか？？

もう１つの私の夏の風物詩、花火大会。

新型コロナウイルスが流行する前までは毎年、長良川の花火大会に行っていました。

長良川の花火大会では約３万発の花火が打ち上げられ、その中には地元の小学生がデザインした花火なども打ち上げられます。

そして中でも有名なのが、長良川を跨ぐ３００ｍ超えの「ナイアガラ」と呼ばれる滝のような花火。

言葉にできないような美しさで、私はこの花火が華やかで一番好きです。

そんな花火大会（打ち上げ花火）の由来って皆さまご存知ですか？

打ち上げ花火のはじまりは、江戸時代まで遡り、享保１８（１７３３）年に隅田川で行われた「水神祭」がその由来と伝えられています。当時関西や江戸では、飢餓・疫病の流行により、多数の死者が出ていました。その死者たちの慰霊や悪疫退散のために「水神祭」が催され、その余興として花火が打ち上げられたのがきっかけだそうです。

その後、打ち上げ花火を見上げた際の掛け声としても知られる「たーまや～（玉屋）」や「かーぎや～（鍵屋）」という大きな花火屋さんを始め、沢山の花火師たちが出現し、競うように花火を打ち上げだしました。それが華やかなものを好む江戸の庶民にも受け入れられ、花火の打ち上げが川開きの定番の行事として根付いていったという経緯があります。

また日本の蒸し暑い気候が、夜風にあたりながら花火を眺めるという夕涼みの文化として、江戸だけでなく全国で花火大会をより根付かせました。

夏の暑い日に外にいるのはつらいですが、花火大会の夜はなぜか涼しく感じます。風情ですね…

今年こそは、全国のお祭りや花火大会が開催され、多くの方が夜空に輝く美しい花火を見て夏を満喫できるといいなあと思っています。

ただ春もまだ十分に満喫できていないので、もう少し春を感じたいと思います！

After all, my summer tradition is the beer garden and the fireworks display.

I myself don’t drink a lot of beer, but when I go to the beer garden, the beer I don’t usually drink goes on and on … Also, the beer I drink outdoors is delicious, isn’t it? Recently, it seems that there are many beer gardens that have a very fashionable atmosphere like glamping and are beautifully lit up.

This year, I want to drink beer that has been chilled to the extent that it blows away the hot summer in such a trendy beer garden.

Another summer tradition, the fireworks display. Before the outbreak of the new coronavirus, I went to the Nagara River fireworks display every year. At the Nagara River Fireworks Festival, about 30,000 fireworks will be launched, including fireworks designed by local elementary school students. And the most famous is the waterfall-like fireworks called “Niagara” that straddles the Nagara River and is over 300m long. With its indescribable beauty, I like this fireworks the most because it is gorgeous.

Do you know the origin of such a fireworks display (launch fireworks)? The beginning of the fireworks is said to have originated from the “Mizugami Festival” held in the Sumida River in 1733, which dates back to the Edo period. At that time, many people died in Kansai and Edo due to the epidemic of hunger and epidemics. It is said that the “Water God Festival” was held to memorialize the dead and to disperse the plague, and fireworks were launched as a sideshow.

After that, many fireworks masters will appear and compete, including big fireworks shops such as “Tamaya” (Tamaya) and “Kagiya” (Locksmith), which are also known as shouts when looking up at the fireworks. わたくし、このところ歩くことが多いもので、スニーカーを履く機会が多く圧倒的スニーカー派になりました。

このところ愛用していたのは、ジョギングなどしたこともないのに間違えて買ったランニング用のシューズ。この快適さを一度あじわってしまうと、もうパンプスなどを履けなくなりそうで少々心配ではありますが、自分の足の動きにとことん自由自在についてきてくれる吸い付くような履き心地に、私ではなく足が有無を言わずとも選んでしまい、もうこれしか足が選ばなくなっておりました。

足にストレスが無いことがこんなにも解放感があるのかと、感動すら覚えた次第です。

そんな愛用のシューズもなかなか年季が入ってまいりまして、何足かを用意した方が物の持ちがよいとはいいますし、後継機種をこの度用意いたしました。

と、いいましても前回ランニング用のシューズに味をしめてしまいましたので、そのあたりの後継機種になっております。こちらも吟味吟味を重ねて選んではおりますが、まだまだ自分の足についてきてくれる感触はありません。少しずつ履き慣らし、徐々に足と靴が話し合ってプチカスタマイズしていくのでしょう。

話は少し変わりますが、そういえば伊勢神宮に訪れたさいにちょうど月次祭が行われていた時のことを思い出しました。そう、あの履物のこと。

大勢の禰宜の方々が靴のようなものを履いており、その形状としては、スリッポンとサボの中間のような感じでしょうか、材質は木で、それをくりぬいたちょうどオランダの木靴のような。

これは、公家の衣装として有名な「衣冠」や「束帯」のときに履かれる靴の一種の「浅沓（あさぐつ）」といわれるもの。その名の通り、みるからに木製で浅めに作られた様子であります。

その昔は日常的に使われていたようですが、先日の月並祭の様子からですと、歩くことを目的としてはなかなか…といった様子ではありました。

ですが、よくよく拝見いたしますと黒の塗りのつやつやとしたなんとも美しい履物。この履物を履いた姿をみるだけでその姿やその場が一気に引き締まる気が致します。

当時の平民は裸足もしくはせいぜい草鞋。履物自体が一定以上の身分の人が使うもだったでしょうから、「浅沓（あさぐつ）」、当時のエリートサラリーマンの上質な革靴のようなものなのでしょうか。

そんな上質な靴をはいた場面に遭遇することはめったにございませんので、先日はとにもかくにもラッキーでありました。

雨上がりの靄のかかった玉砂利の参道を、大勢の禰宜の方々が真白の絹衣に浅沓を履き、列をなし歩く厳かな景色。その中をカッポカッポという浅沓の独特の音だけが森の中を響きわたっており、もう他は何もいらないと思った美しい場面でありました。

その禰宜の方々の姿を拝見しておりました私の足元はそう、いつものスニーカー。ですが、気持ちは300年前の草履を履いたお伊勢参りの私(仮)となり、私きっと草履を履き、昔もこうして儀式へありがたく頭をさげてたにちがいないな…と想像していたことを思い出し、ふと足元を眺める本日でありました。

I’ve been using my favorite running shoes these days, even though I’ve never been jogging. Once I play with this comfort, I’m a little worried that I won’t be able to wear pumps anymore. I chose it without saying whether it was there or not, and I could only choose this foot.

I was even impressed that the lack of stress on my legs gave me such a feeling of liberation.

It is said that it is better to have a few pairs of shoes, and we have prepared a successor model.

Even so, I tasted the running shoes last time, so it is the successor model to that area. I have carefully selected this as well, but I still don’t feel that it will follow my feet. You will get used to it little by little, and gradually discuss your feet and shoes to customize them.

The story is a little different, but by the way, when I visited Ise Jingu, I remembered the time when the monthly festival was being held. Yes, that footwear.

A lot of people are wearing something like shoes, and the shape is like a middle ground between slip-ons and sabots, the material is wood, just like Dutch clogs hollowed out.

This is a kind of shoes called “Asagutsu” that are worn when wearing “Ikan” or “Sokutai”, which are famous as costumes for public houses. As the name suggests, it looks like it was made of wood and shallow.

It seems that it was used on a daily basis in the old days, but from the state of the Tsukinami Festival the other day, it seemed that it was quite difficult for the purpose of walking.

However, if you look closely, you will find that the black-painted, glossy and beautiful footwear. Just by looking at the appearance of wearing this footwear, I feel that the appearance and the place are tightened at once.

The commoners at that time were barefoot or straw shoes at best. Since the footwear itself would have been used by people with a certain status, is it something like “Asagutsu”, the high-quality leather shoes of the elite office workers of the time?

I rarely come across such high-quality shoes, so I was lucky the other day.

A solemn view of a large number of priests wearing pure white silk robes and asagutsu along the approach to the mist-covered ball gravel after the rain. Only the peculiar sound of Asagutsu echoing in the woods, and I thought I didn’t need anything else.

I was watching the people of the sneakers, and my feet are the usual sneakers. However, my feelings were that I was a visitor to Ise wearing sandals 300 years ago (provisional), and I suddenly remembered that I was grateful for the ceremonial ritual, and I was looking at my feet today.

桜の季節も終わり、新緑の季節を迎えつつある今日この頃。

昨日運転中に感じたのですが、雨の日の木々の緑ってとっても鮮やかに輝いていますよね。

いつもの晴れた日よりも、雨の日の木々の方が生き生きしてとっても美しく見えました。

雨の日は憂鬱になりがちですが、お気に入りの傘と共に新緑を見るのも悪くないですね。

さて本題に入りますね。

この間、「たじみ陶器まつり」に行ってきました。多治見自体にはお気に入りのお店があるのでよく行くのですが、「たじみ陶器まつり」は初めて行きました。

このお祭りも今年で７６回目を迎え、メイン会場の本町オリベストリート周辺から銀座商店街の方まで約４０社の陶器商が出店し、地元の方から遠方の方までたくさんの方々で賑わっていました。

通りには普段使いのお皿から、こだわりの一点物まで幅広い作品が並んでおり、見ているだけでも楽しい空間で、欲しい物がたくさんありました。

そして今回、たじみ陶器まつりで私が一番気になっていた作家も作品を出展するということで、会場に到着してすぐに見に行ったのですが、とても人気で到着した時には既にほとんど売れてしまっていて、残っていたのは２～３枚のお皿だけでした。

残っていたお皿たちもとても素敵だったのですが、お目当ての作品ではなかったので、今回はおあずけ…。

楽しみにしていた分、残念でしたが直接作家の方にお会いできてお話することができたので嬉しかったです。

他にもこのお祭りには、出店などもたくさんありました。

その日はとても暑かったこともあり、久しぶりに夏祭りを思い出しました。（当日は４月なのに２８度…さすが日本一暑い町ですね。）今年は夏祭りもたくさん開催されるといいですね。

そしてお昼ごはんには、せっかく多治見に来たので、普段から気になっていたお蕎麦屋さんにも行ってきました。

白を基調とした天井の高い解放感のある造りの店内には手挽きの石臼が置かれ、様々なお皿も飾ってあり、とても雰囲気がありました。１１：３０開店で、順番に案内されるということで私は１１：４５頃に行ったのですが、すでに満席で１番目の待ち。

お蕎麦の深い香りと、天麩羅の香ばしい香りで溢れる店内で待っている間にどんどん列も長くなり、私の後ろには５組ほど並び始めました。

大体２０分ほど待つと、ついに自分の番がまわってきました。

お店おすすめの「田舎蕎麦」を注文したところ数量限定で、もう完売してしまっていて残念ながらいただくことはできませんでした。（悔しい…。）代わりに第二候補だった「海老天せいろ」を頼んだのですが、とっても美味。外がカリカリで中がふわふわの理想の海老天と、喉越し最高のお蕎麦で満足でした。

「たじみ陶器まつり」も、ランチもとっても満足度が高く、素敵なおでかけになりました。

今からの季節どんどんイベントや、お祭りが増えてきて賑やかになる頃なので、皆さまも感染対策をしっかりして、近場のイベントなどに参加してみるのもありかもしれません。

The cherry blossom season is over, and the fresh green season is approaching today. As I felt while driving yesterday, the greenery of the trees on a rainy day is shining very brightly. The trees on a rainy day looked more lively and beautiful than the usual sunny days.

Rainy days tend to be depressing, but it’s not a bad idea to see the fresh green with your favorite umbrella.

Now let’s get into the main subject. During this time, I went to the “Tajimi Pottery Festival”. I often go to Tajimi itself because I have a favorite shop, but I went to the “Tajimi Pottery Festival” for the first time. This festival also celebrated its 76th anniversary this year, and about 40 pottery shops opened from around Honmachi Oribe Street, the main venue, to the Ginza shopping district, and it was crowded with many people from locals to distant people.

The street is lined with a wide range of works, from everyday plates to discerning one-of-a-kind items, and it was a fun space just to look at, and there were many things I wanted.

And this time, the artist I was most interested in at the Tajimi Pottery Festival also exhibited his work, so I went to see it immediately after arriving at the venue, but it was very popular and almost all of it was already there. It was sold and all that was left was a few plates. The remaining plates were also very nice, but it wasn’t the work I was looking for, so this time I’m sorry … I was looking forward to it, but I was disappointed, but I was happy to meet and talk to the artist directly.

There were also many other stores at this festival. It was very hot that day, so I remembered the summer festival for the first time in a while. (It’s April, but it’s 28 degrees Celsius … It’s the hottest town in Japan.) I hope many summer festivals will be held this year.

And for lunch, I came to Tajimi, so I went to a soba restaurant that I was always interested in.

A hand-ground stone mill was placed in the store, which was based on white and had a high ceiling and a feeling of liberation, and various plates were also displayed, giving it a very atmosphere. The store opened at 11:30, and I went there around 11:45 because I was guided in order, but it was already full and the first wait. While I was waiting in the store full of the deep scent of soba and the scent of tempura, the line became longer and longer, and about 5 pairs started to line up behind me. After waiting for about 20 minutes, it was finally my turn.

When I ordered the recommended “countryside soba” from the shop, the quantity was limited and it was already sold out, so unfortunately I couldn’t get it. (I’m sorry …) Instead, I ordered the second candidate, “Shrimp Bamboo Steamer,” but it was very delicious. I was satisfied with the ideal shrimp tempura, which is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the best soba noodles in my throat.

The “Tajimi Pottery Festival” was also very satisfying for lunch, and it was a wonderful outing. Since the number of events and festivals is increasing and it will be lively in the coming season, it may be possible for everyone to take proper measures against infection and participate in nearby events.

先日は、お天気も良く絶好の私の大好きなドライブ日和でありました。例のごとく車を走らせ、気持ちのよい風を切りながら、なんてことない周りの景色の移り変わりを好きな音楽をかけて眺めていると、平凡ではありますが風と光があいまった映画のワンシーンと化します。この時間が私の大好きな時間であります。弊店の屋号ではないですが、風が光る季節とはまさにこの時期のことでありましょうか。

さてさて話はいきなり別件であります。先日、毎年恒例のこの時期の会話、「桜餅の葉を食べるか食べないか論争」が起こりました。どうでもよい、お好きに食べなさいというのが結論ではありますが。私は食べない派だったのですが、今年は例年しない食べ方にしてみようと、久しぶりに葉と一緒に桜餅を頂きました。

ですが、先日食べてみますと意外や意外。塩気もあいまって、「これはいける」と、再発見。何事も固定観念にとらわれると、損をしてしまいますね。

そんな桜餅の葉の塩漬けは、葉が大きめのオオシマザクラという種類のものを使用しており、このオオシマザクラの葉は、製菓材料店や商品の種類が豊富な大型のデパートなどで手に入れることができます。

また何故葉に巻かれているのかと申しますと、桜の香りづけをしたりお餅の乾燥を防いだりするためだったり、塩漬けにした葉を使うことで雑菌の繁殖を防ぎ、お餅にはほんのり塩味がつく意味などたくさんの意味があるようですが、それよりもなによりも、一番は美味しくなるための工夫でしょうか。

私も以前自分で作った際に、作り立ての桜餅がみずみずしく香りもしっかりと残り、いつもより美味しかった記憶が大変残っておりましたので、作り立ての状態はきっと美味しさが絶好調なのだろうでしょうから、やはり桜の葉の効果は絶大なのだなと、今更思い返している次第でございます。

そんな桜餅、先日食べました桜餅は「道明寺」。大阪の道明寺というお寺で作られた道明寺粉（もち米を蒸して乾燥したものを粗く挽いたもの）を原料としていることからこの名がついたのですが、これは関西に多い桜餅。餅粉の粒が残って、あんこを完全に包んだタイプ。

「道明寺」と、何故申しましたのはお分かりかと思いますが、私も都内に引っ越した際にはじめ知ったのですが、都内で食べた桜餅は「長命寺」でありました。そう、「長明寺」のことを知りませんでした。

桜餅は、「道明寺」と「長命寺」がございます。「長明寺」は、小麦粉の生地を薄く伸ばして焼いているクレープのようなイメージでして、生地を二つ折りにして、中にあんこが入っているのですが、こちらは桜の葉を剥がして、香りを楽しみながら食べるのがオシャレなようです。

こちらの名の由来は江戸時代に長命寺というお寺の門前で最初に桜餅が売られたことからによるようですが、歴史的にはこちらの桜餅の方が元祖のようですが、どちらもお寺の名前からの由来なのは、何か意味があるのかどうかはわかりませんでした。

先に述べましたように桜餅は関東と関西で分けられていると一般的に思われているようですが、長命寺の分布は主に、関東甲信地方と東北の太平洋側の1部と割と狭い範囲。一方の道明寺は、長命寺以外の全域なのでこちらの方が圧倒的なシェアを占めているようですが、歴史的には長命寺が桜餅の元祖と言われております。道明寺は長命寺のアレンジバージョンのようでして、アレンジした分「おいしい！」と評判になって、後継機種の方が人気になったようですね。

そして気になりませんか…。長命寺と道明寺の境界線。気になりますよね。

ご想像がつくかと思いますが、どうやら静岡県沼津市付近のようであります。沼津では、長命寺も道明寺も両方売ってるようでして、ヘルツの境界線ではないですが、桜餅も富士川あたりにどうも長命寺と道明寺の境界線があるのではないかとのことです。

ですがそんな境界線がどこだとかそんな細かい話、だんだんどちらでもよくなってまいり…、それよりも桜餅久しぶりに作ってみたくなりまして、桜の葉の塩漬けをどこで調達しようしようかと、意識は完全にそちらへシフトしておりました。

お重いっぱいに並べた桜餅のお重の蓋を開ける瞬間を想像し、この連休、昨日のなんちゃってグランピングではないですが、そこでいただこうか…。などと、私の連休の過ごし方の妄想は完全に出来上がりつつあります。

I didn’t eat it, but this year I had Sakuramochi with leaves for the first time in a while, trying to make it an unusual way of eating.

When I say why I don’t eat it, it seems that I wasn’t good at the strong scent of cherry blossoms in the past, and I had the impression that the leaves of Sakuramochi were pretty solid and hard, and then I wasn’t good at it. However, when I tried it the other day, I was surprised. With the saltiness, I rediscovered, “This is OK.” If you get caught up in stereotypes, you will lose.

The salted leaves of Sakuramochi use a type of Oshima cherry with large leaves, and the leaves of this Oshima cherry can be obtained at confectionery material stores and large department stores with a wide variety of products. increase.

The reason why it is wrapped around the leaves is to add aroma to the cherry blossoms and prevent the mochi from drying out, and by using salted leaves to prevent the growth of germs, the mochi is slightly covered. It seems that there are many meanings such as salting, but above all, is it a device to make it delicious?

When I made it myself before, the freshly made sakuramochi remained fresh and fragrant, and I had a lot of memories that it was tastier than usual, so I’m sure that the freshly made sakuramochi is in excellent condition. I am reminding myself that the effect of cherry blossom leaves is enormous.

The sakuramochi I ate the other day is “Domyoji”. The name comes from the fact that it is made from Domyoji powder (steamed and dried glutinous rice that is roughly ground) made at a temple called Domyoji in Osaka. Is a lot of sakura mochi in Kansai. A type that completely wraps the bean paste with the remaining rice cake powder.

You may understand why I said “Domyoji”, but when I first moved to Tokyo, I first learned that the Sakuramochi I ate in Tokyo was “Chomeiji”. Yes, I didn’t know “Chomei-ji”.

Sakuramochi has “Domyoji” and “Chomeiji”.

“Chomeiji” has the image of a crepe made by thinly stretching and baking wheat flour dough. The dough is folded in half and the bean paste is inside, but here the leaves of the cherry blossoms are peeled off. It seems fashionable to eat while enjoying the aroma. The origin of this name seems to be that Sakuramochi was first sold in front of the temple called Chomeiji in the Edo period, but historically, this Sakuramochi seems to be the originator.

As mentioned earlier, it seems that Sakuramochi is generally thought to be divided into Kanto and Kansai, but the distribution of Chomeiji is mainly divided into the Kanto Koshin region and a part of the Pacific side of Tohoku. And a narrow range. On the other hand, Domyoji is the whole area other than Chomei-ji, so it seems that this one occupies an overwhelming share.

Historically, Chomeiji is said to be the originator of Sakuramochi, but Domyoji is an arranged version of Chomeiji, and the arrangement has become popular as “delicious!”, And the successor model has become more popular. It looks like it was.

And don’t you care? The boundary between Chomeiji and Domyoji. I’m curious.

As you can imagine, it seems to be near Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In Numazu, it seems that both Chomeiji and Domyoji are sold, which is not the borderline of Hertz, but it seems that Sakuramochi also has a borderline between Chomeiji and Domyoji around the Fuji River.

However, such a boundary line is getting better and better, and I want to make Sakuramochi for the first time in a long time, so I’m completely conscious of where to procure salted cherry leaves. We have shifted.

秋田県に何かと縁のある、スタッフNでございます。

皆さま、秋田県というと何を思い浮かべるでしょうか？

きりたんぽ鍋、秋田犬、あきたこまち、佐々木希、いぶりがっこ、稲庭うどん等々ございます。

俳優の柳葉敏郎さんは、地元の祭りやイベントによく参加されているそうです。

知り合いの中で柳葉敏郎さんに会えていないのは私だけなので、いつかお会いしたいものです。

そういえば、幼い頃に大曲の花火大会に参加したことがあるのですが、真下から見る花火の迫力は凄まじいものでした。花火の中にいる錯覚に陥るので、是非皆さまにも体験していただきたいです。

今回は、秋田の知人からなまはげの写真を送っていただいたので、なまはげについて詳しくご紹介したいと思います。

空港でご対面するこのなまはげを見ると、秋田県に来た感じが致します。

なまはげは、秋田県の男鹿半島周辺で行われてきた年中行事、あるいはその行事において、仮面をつけ藁の衣装をまとった神の使い（来訪神）のことを指します。

秋田県の男鹿半島（男鹿市）、および、山本郡三種町・潟上市の一部において見られる伝統的な民俗行事で、200年以上の歴史がございます。。男鹿市などの調査によると、2012～2015年において市内148地区のうち約80地区でナマハゲ（なまはげ）行事があるそうです。「男鹿（おが）のナマハゲ」として、国の重要無形民俗文化財に指定されているほか、「来訪神：仮面・仮装の神々」の一つとしてユネスコの無形文化遺産に登録されております。異形の仮面をつけ、藁などで作った衣装をまとった「なまはげ」が、家々を巡って厄払いをしたり、怠け者を諭したりする光景は有名ですよね。

なまはげと同様の行事は日本各地にございますが、その中でも特になまはげは、圧倒的な知名度を得て、秋田県と言えばなまはげと言われるまでに至りました。その知名度の大きさから、秋田県の観光PRに用いられるのは勿論、秋田県に関連する私企業でもモチーフにされたり、秋田県関連の物販・飲食店でのオーナメントや余興の1つとされたりして、頻繁に用いられています。

本来、地区の未婚の男性がなまはげを務めるのが習わしですが、高齢化と地区の人口減により担い手の若者が減少、既婚男性や高齢者、さらには帰省中の親族など地区外の者が務める例も見られるようになりました。男鹿市の双六地区では、なまはげ役を県内にある秋田大学や国際教養大学の外国人留学生も務めることがあるそうです。海外の方にとっては貴重な経験でございますね。また、なまはげの主な訪問先である子供がいる世帯が少子化により減少しているため、実施する動機の減退も見られております。その他、年末年始に仕事があったり、旅行などで不在だったりと、住民の生活の変化もなまはげの衰退の要因になっているそうです。

なまはげには角があるため、鬼であると誤解されることがあるが、鬼ではないそうです。今回調べてみて一番驚きました。なまはげは本来、鬼とは無縁の来訪神でありましたが、近代化の過程で鬼と混同され、誤解が解けないまま鬼の一種に組み込まれ、変容してしまったという説があるそうです。

冬に囲炉裏（いろり）にあたっていると手足に「ナモミ」 「アマ」と呼ばれる低温火傷（温熱性紅斑）ができることがあります。“それを剥いで”怠け者を懲らしめ、災いをはらい祝福を与えるという意味での「ナモミ剥ぎ」から「なまはげ」 「アマハゲ」 「アマメハギ」 「ナモミハギ」などと呼ばれるようになったそうです。

なまはげの仮面の形は地域によって様々異なりますが、赤面と青面の1対に定型化もされており、この場合は赤面がジジナマハゲ、青面がババナマハゲと呼ばれています。

赤青それぞれに名前があったのですね。

「なまはげ」は怠惰や不和などの悪事を諌め、災いを祓いにやってくる来訪神でございます。かつては小正月（旧暦から新暦に）の行事でしたが、大晦日の行事となり、年の終わりに、大きな出刃包丁（あるいは鉈）を持ち、鬼の面、ケラやミノのような用具、ハバキをまとって、なまはげに扮した村人が家々を訪れ「泣ぐ子（ゴ）は居ねがー」「悪い子（ゴ）は居ねがー」と奇声を発しながら練り歩き、家に入って怠け者や子供、初嫁を探して暴れます。家人は正装をして丁重にこれを出迎え、主人が今年1年の家族のしでかした日常の悪事を釈明するなどした後に酒などをふるまって、送り帰すとされています。

ニュースでなまはげの怖さに大泣きする子供をよく見ますが、こうやって秋田の子供たちは強くなっていくのですね。

妖怪などと同様に民間伝承であるため、正確な発祥などはわかっておりません。秋田には、「漢の武帝が男鹿を訪れ、5匹の鬼を毎日のように使役していたが、正月15日だけは鬼たちが解き放たれて里を荒らし回った」という伝説があり、これをなまはげの起源とする説があるそうです。

知っているようで知らないなまはげ、鬼ではなく神様だとわかれば少しは怖くなくなるかもしれません。

This time, an acquaintance of Akita sent me a picture of Namahage, so I would like to introduce you to Namahage in detail.

When you see this Namahage facing you at the airport, you feel like you are in Akita prefecture.

Namahage refers to a god’s messenger (visiting god) wearing a mask and straw costume at an annual event held around the Oga Peninsula in Akita Prefecture.

It is a traditional folk event found in the Oga Peninsula (Oga City) in Akita Prefecture and part of Mitane Town and Katagami City in Yamamoto District, and has a history of more than 200 years. .. According to a survey by Oga City and others, there are Namahage events in about 80 of the 148 districts in the city from 2012 to 2015. In Akita, there is a legend that “Han Wudi visited Oga and used five demons on a daily basis, but only on New Year 15th, the demons were unleashed and devastated the village.” There seems to be a theory that this is the origin of Namahage.

Namahage that seems to be known but not known, and if you know that you are a god instead of a demon, you may not be a little scared.

ところで、先日のニュースにて、今年の大型連休期間中の新幹線の予約状況があがっておりましたね。つい先日新年度4月がスタートしまして、早くも連休が気になり始めるという時の早さよ…。

新年度新たなスタートを切り、目まぐるしい環境の変化に、緊張や喜びそして戸惑いを実感した皆さんは、ここで一息つきたいところでありましょう。

皆様の連休の計画はいかがでしょうか？

さてさて、今年の新幹線の予約状況は軒並み昨年より増加のようで、今年は気を付けながら活動してみようと計画されている方も多いようですね。

各新幹線の予約席数は合わせて103万席で去年の1.62倍となりましたが、4年前の同じ時期と比べると、およそ5割にとどまっていまっているようですから、以前の連休はどんな様子だったのか？と、あの頃の混雑が遠い昔のように思えてくるのは私だけでしょうか。

とにもかくにも、気を付けながらの移動にはなりそうですね。

といいましても、実は私の連休の計画はまだなにも決まっておりませんで。

きっと昨年同様近場でうろうろし、家の片づけや洗濯をし…、といったっところなのですが、ずっと以前から必ず行っていることがございまして。

それは自宅の窓をすべて全開にして、外の風を入れてのなんちゃってグランピング。

例年のルーティーンですと、お天気のよい爽やかな日は午前中に窓を拭いたり庭のお掃除を致します。そうると調子に乗って気が付けはお昼過ぎ。ちょっと疲れるんですよ…。そのお掃除した窓はそのまま開けておき、遅めのお昼ごはんみたいな午後飲みが始まります。

ここまでお伝えすると我が家の田舎様がばれてしまいますが、とはいえ普段はなかなか解放できない窓。連休中はどことなくご近所周りの方々もリラックスしているようですので、えーいと窓全開にさせていただいております。

そんななんちゃってグランピング、自宅ですからいつもの食卓での食事ではあるのですが、その日だけは昼間からお酒を用意し、お酒に合うようなメニューを用意し（そんな手の込んだものは用意いたしませよ笑）、お昼から徹底的にだらけるという一年のうちに数回ですが自分を甘やかす日。

以前は親戚や友人で集まったりしておりましたが、このところは家族でこじんまりと行っておりますがまあどちらでもよいです。こじんまりと過ごす時間の中、窓から見える萌黄色（笑）の新緑を風景に、外からの風を入れますと、不思議といつもの食卓がグランピングと化します。そんな中、風を感じながら昼間からソファでだらだらとお酒などたしなんでいますと、いつもの食卓もなんだか外食したかのように錯覚し、また開放感を味わえたような錯覚をいたしますので、この季節は大いに錯覚した方が良いなと思いました。

連休の過ごし方がどうしようもなくなった皆さま、ご自宅の状況によるかと思いますが、春の爽やかな風が家の中を通り過ぎるだけでこんなにも風景が違ってくるのかときっと気が付くかと思いますので、昼飲みとは言わずも、風を感じながらお茶などもよいかもしれませんね。

みなさま、こんにちは。スタッフＹでごさいます。

今朝仕事にて外をまわっていますと、ここ一日二日で新緑が待っていましたとばかりの勢いに芽吹いていますね。

そんな美しい新緑を眺めておりますと、新緑の「緑」が様々であり、その様々な様子がなんともいえぬ絵画のように見えてまいり、絵が上手に描けたらどんなにかよかったのになと、思った次第でごさいます。

そんな「緑」、新緑の緑をみていましても一派一絡げとはいかず、少し黄色味を帯びていたり、青みを帯びていたり、薄かったり濃かったり様々。

こんなに様々であるにもかかわらず、古代では寒色系統を総括的にアオと呼び、草木の緑系統の色もアオであったようですから、当時はそもそも色を区別する概念がそんなになかったか。こんなに違っているのに。

そういっても、後の平安時代以降は 木の芽や若葉の色を「萌黄」と用いることが多かったようであります。「緑」は存在していたようですが、『万葉集』や『延喜式』の中にもみられますように、あまり用いられることは少なかったようですね。

そんな万葉集に、現代人の私たちの感覚でも美しいなと思える「緑」の登場する歌がありましてご紹介いたします。

「浅緑染め懸けたりと見るまでに春の柳は萌えにけるか」」

～まるで浅緑に染めた糸を掛けたように、春の柳がが芽吹いています。

と、ここでは「緑」が詠われております。ですが、普段「緑」として使われていたのは「萌黄」が主流だたのでようですから、当時の人にとっては馴染みのない文学的な言葉にすぎなかったのでしょうか。

ですが、芽吹き始めた柳の新緑を繊細な緑の糸に例え、そんな柳が風に揺れるほんのり軽やかな春の情景を当時の人も美しいと思い表現したかったのでしょうか、素敵な歌ですね。

そんな「萌黄」をはじめ伝統色ですが、緑にちなんだ色だけでも現在は８２色もあるようです。

お分かりのように、宝石・動物・鳥に由来する色名が少なく、植物的な発想に基づいているものが 多く、固有色名というより漠然とした萌黄や若草色などの色名が多く使われております。緑に関しては、植物に由来することは大いに理解できますし、植物からの由来の名前のほうが逆に私たちにはイメージができやすいようにも思えますね。

とまあそのネーミングでの植物のイメージの紐づけは大いに理解できますが、昔はさらに一歩先のその色の持つ意味のイメージが存在しましたよね。たとえば、有名な冠位十二階。これは、色によって位をつけていたり、「紫」が高貴な位だったことはみなさん、かつての歴史の教科書で学びましたよね。

そんな色の持つイメージが「萌黄色」にも存在しているようですね。それが鎧の縅（おどし）や太刀などの配色に組み込まれているようで、その人物の地位や立場などを語る道具だてにもなりました。

縅には緋色や黒、紫などが好まれたようですが、苅安（カリヤス）で黄色に染めた布を藍（アイ）でさらに染めた萌黄色もございました。

そんな萌黄色の縅にちなんだ話が「平家物語」に登場致します。

萌黄色の意味は若く血気盛んな意味であったのでしょうか、平敦盛は、年の頃も16，7歳で、「練貫（ねりぬき）に鶴を縫うたる直垂（ひたたれ）に、萌黄匂（もえぎにほひ）の鎧著（き）て」と若々しく上品な装いで登場致します。また、同じ萌黄の縅でも、老武者・斉藤別当実盛は「若やがう（=若返ろう）」という気持ちで「赤地の錦の直垂に、萌黄縅の鎧」をまとい、白くなった鬢（びん）やひげを黒く染めて戦いにのぞんだとのことですので当時の色の持つ意味は、もはや力強いメッセージとも感じ取れました。

物語の戦いで亡くなった二人の武者――敦盛と実盛の凛とした最期は、装束の色のあざやかさを描写しておりましたので、その萌黄色が悲しくもより悲劇をきわだてます。

そもそも、萌黄色の名付けの由来は　“草木が萌え出づる時の色”。

このように名づけた先人と、それに若々しく血気盛んなメッセージを込めた先人たちの美意識のことを思いながら、せっかくだから今日は、「緑」ではなく「萌黄色」と言ってみようかなと、いつもの道を通り過ぎてまいりました。

ところで、この珉平焼の緑は伝統色では何色と表現しようか…

It is a traditional color such as “Moegi”, but it seems that there are currently 82 colors associated with green alone.

As you can see, there are few color names derived from gems, animals, and birds, and many are based on plant-like ideas. We are doing it. As for green, it is very understandable that it is derived from plants, and it seems that the names derived from plants are easier for us to imagine.

Well, I can understand the linking of the image of the plant in that naming, but in the old days, there was an image of the meaning of the color one step further. For example, the famous 12th floor of the crown. You all learned from the history textbooks that “purple” was a noble place, and that it was ranked according to color.

It seems that the image of such a color also exists in “Moegi”. It seems that it is incorporated in the color scheme of the armor’s odoshi and sword, and it has become a tool to talk about the position and position of the person.

It seems that scarlet, black, and purple were preferred for the odoshi, but there was also Moegi, which was made by dyeing a cloth dyed yellow with Karyasu and then dyeing it with indigo.

A story related to such Moegi odoshi will appear in “The Heike Story”.

Perhaps the meaning of Moegi was young and bloody, and Taira no Atsumori was 16 or 7 years old when he was 16 or 7 years old. , Moegi Nihohi’s armor work “, will appear in a youthful and elegant outfit. The two warriors who died in the battle of the story-Atsumori and Sanemori’s dignified end portrayed the vividness of the color of the costume, so the moegi is sadly more tragic. ..

Thinking about the aesthetic sense of the ancestors named in this way and the ancestors with a youthful and bloody message, let’s say “moegi” instead of “green” today. I have passed the usual road.
