先日、金山の旧ボストン美術館で

QUEEN 50周年展 -DON’T STOP ME NOW-

に行って参りました。

 

 

本当はゴッホアライブ展に行きたかったのですが、１２月１０日からということで、現在開催中のＱＵＥＥＮ展へ。

 

Nはボヘミアンラプソディーを見て感動しただけのにわかファンなのですが、会場は青春時代をＱＵＥＥＮと共に過ごしたであろう方々が熱心にご鑑賞されておりました。

 

 

ＱＵＥＥＮと言えば、日本で特に大人気で若い子でもあのCMの曲だ、あのドラマで聞いたことある、となりますよね。

 

私もその中の一人で、ひげで胸毛のある人がタンクトップで歌ってるー、神無月さんがものまねしてるひとだーくらいに思っておりました。

 

 

展示の仕方もおしゃれで、実際にレコーディングしていたロンドンのスタジオの外装になっていたり、非日常の空間で楽しめました。

 

何より、文字を読むだけでなく、インタビューやライブ映像が大画面でたくさん楽しめるのが素敵でございました。

 

５階の会場には、大画面でライヴ映像を映し出す体感型マルチ・スクリーン・シアターがございます。

まるでライヴ会場に居るかのような、臨場感あふれるクイーンのライヴ上映が体感できます。

クイーンとの思い出を共有できるクイーンファンなら誰もが撮影したくなるようなフォト・スポットもございました。

 

誰もいないと思ってノリノリでポーズを決めていたおじさまと、角を曲がったNの目が合ってしまい、「恥ずかしいから早く撮って！」と奥様をせかしているのが面白かったです。

 

 

日本語で歌っている歌詞がとても印象的で仕事中も頭の中でリピートされております。

 

グッズも可愛い湯呑や小皿などなど興味惹かれるものもございました。

 

 

知り合いのけん玉マニアに教えたら欲しがりそうな、ＱＵＥＥＮロゴのけん玉もございました。

 

同じモデルのギターを試し弾きされてる方もおりました。

 

寒くなり、最近色々考えてしまっていましたが、またＱＵＥＥＮ熱が再発して、元気をいただきました。

The other day, at the former Boston Museum of Fine Arts in Kanayama

QUEEN 50th Anniversary Exhibition -DON’T STOP ME NOW-

I went to

 

Actually, I wanted to go to the Van Gogh Alive exhibition, but since December 10th, I went to the current QUEEN exhibition.

 

N is a casual fan who was moved by watching Bohemian Rhapsody, but at the venue, people who would have spent their youth with QUEEN were enthusiastically watching.

 

Speaking of QUEEN, it’s especially popular in Japan, and even young people will hear it in that commercial, in that drama.

 

I was one of them.

 

The exhibition was done in a stylish way, and I enjoyed it in an extraordinary space, such as the exterior of the studio in London where I was actually recording.

 

Above all, it was wonderful not only to read the text, but also to enjoy interviews and live videos on the big screen.

 

At the venue on the 5th floor, there is an experiential multi-screen theater that projects live footage on a large screen.

You can experience the live screening of Queen as if you were at the live venue.

There is also a photo spot that any Queen fan who can share memories with Queen will want to shoot.

 

The uncle, who thought there was no one there and was happily posing, met N’s eyes when he turned the corner.

 

The lyrics sung in Japanese are very impressive and I keep repeating them in my head while I work.

 

There were some interesting goods such as cute tea cups and small plates.

 

There was also a Kendama with the QUEEN logo, which I think I would want if I told my acquaintance Kendama enthusiast.

 

Some people tried playing the same model guitar.

 

It’s getting colder and I’ve been thinking a lot lately, but the QUEEN fever has returned again and I’m feeling better.

 

The QUEEN exhibition in Nagoya will be held until November 17th, so if you are interested, why don’t you go?
