昨日までは２つ台風が発生していましたが、今朝天気予報を見ると、なんと３つ目の台風が発生していました。９月は台風が発生しやすい印象でしたが、さすがにトリプル台風とは…。

せっかくの三連休は大荒れの予想となっていますが、今日の名古屋は猛暑です。

皆さま、こまめな水分補給、塩分補給で暑さも台風も乗り切っていきましょう！

 

さて、本日は新しく店頭に並んだ酒器について書かせていただきます。

 

こちらは、【福禄寿　竹形酒器　宗照作】

華やかで落ち着きがあり、小さいですが、重厚感のある作品です。

中には、「福禄寿」とあります。

 

福禄寿とは、七福神の一人であり、長寿の神様です。

仙人がモチーフになっており、長い頭と長い顎鬚、大きな耳たぶが特徴です。左手には宝珠、右手には巻物をくくりつけた枝を持つ姿をしているのが、特徴的で、招徳人望の神様として信仰されています。

 

中国発祥の神様であり、南極老人星の化身として中国の村や街に住んでいたと言い伝えられています。

そこから日本に伝わり七福神として非常に有名な神様になりました。

福禄寿には、名前を形成している感じそれぞれに意味があり、「福」は幸福、「禄」は財宝、「寿」は長寿を表しています。

 

縁起の良いこちらの酒器で日本酒など、良いですよね。もちろん飾っておくだけでも良い運気がやってきそうです。

There were two typhoons until yesterday, but when I looked at the weather forecast this morning, there was a third typhoon. I had the impression that typhoons are more likely to occur in September, but what is a triple typhoon? Although it is expected to be stormy during the long three-day weekend, it is extremely hot in Nagoya today.

Ladies and gentlemen, let’s survive the heat and typhoon with frequent hydration and salt replenishment!

 

Well, today I would like to write about the sake cups that are newly lined up in the store. This is [Fukurokuju bamboo sake set by Sosho] It is gorgeous and calm, and although it is small, it is a work with a profound feeling. It says “Fukurokuju” inside.

 

Fukurokuju is one of the Seven Lucky Gods and is the god of longevity. Hermit is the motif, and features a long head, long beard, and large earlobes. It has a characteristic appearance of holding a branch with a jewel in its left hand and a scroll tied in its right hand, and is worshiped as a deity of virtue and popularity. A god originating in China, it is said to have lived in villages and towns in China as an incarnation of the Antarctic Old Star. From there, it was transmitted to Japan and became a very famous god as one of the Seven Lucky Gods. Fukurokuju has a meaning for each feeling that forms the name, “Fuku” means happiness, “Roku” means treasure, and “Kotobuki” means longevity.

 

This auspicious sake cup is good for drinking sake, isn’t it? Of course, it seems that good luck will come just by decorating it. There are still many new items added to the store recently, so I will introduce them little by little.
