3連休の暖かさから、そこかしこで梅の花が咲いているのを見かけるようなりました。家族や友人と梅の話をしてると、ここ愛知県にも梅のスポットはまあまああるようですね。気になって調べてみました。

 

☞名古屋城（名古屋市）
金鯱で有名な名古屋城には、城内2カ所の梅林に約60本の梅の木が植えられており、早春の城内を彩る。約10種類の梅があり、紅白の花を同じ木に咲かせる「思いのまま」などの珍しい品種があります。

見頃：2月中旬頃～3月中旬頃

営業時間：9:00～16:30(本丸御殿・西の丸御蔵城宝館への入場は16:00まで)

 

☞名古屋市農業センター delaふぁーむ　しだれ梅まつり（名古屋市）

全国有数のしだれ梅の名所として知られており、12品種約700本のしだれ梅を自由に見て楽しむことができます。2月22日現在は五分咲きのようです。インスタなどで開花の様子を教えてくれていますよ。

開催期間：2026年2月14日(土)～3月15日(日)
開催時間：9:00～16:30（期間中無休）

 

☞東谷山フルーツパーク（名古屋市）

パーク内にはウメ園があり、2月初旬～3月中旬にかけて約40品種約150本のさまざまな梅の花が楽しめます。3月にはウメ、アンズ、スモモ、アーモンド、モモの花が次々と開花します。果樹の花を間近で楽しむことができます。

開催期間：2026年2月27日(金)～3月22日(日)

☞大高緑地　花梅まつり（名古屋市）

大高緑地内に植えられている15種類約400本の花梅が綺麗に咲き誇ります。。園内は色とりどりの梅が咲き誇り、池の方から見る白色、紅色、薄紅色が混ざりあった眺めもおすすめです。「花梅まつり」開催の土日祝日には、キッチンカーの出店やさまざまなイベントが行われます。

開催期間：2026年2月14日(土)～3月8日(日)※期間中の土日祝のみ開催

☞大縣神社梅園　梅まつり（犬山市）

大縣神社（おおあがたじんじゃ）境内にて、紅白340本のしだれ梅が咲き誇る2月中旬から3月にかけ『梅まつり』が開催されます。先日のブログにもありました国宝犬山城もぜひ。

開催期間：2月15日(日)～3月中旬

開催場所：大縣神社 梅園

 

☞第17回 いなざわ梅まつり（稲沢市）

愛知県植木センターの梅品種園には、104種類200本の個性豊かな梅が敷地に咲き誇り、全国的にも大変貴重な見本園。新種は気になりますね。

開催期間：2026年3月7日(土)・8日(日)

☞第32回 佐布里池梅まつり（知多市）

佐布里池周辺には、愛知県内一の25種類、約6,000本の梅の木が植えられており、2月中旬から3月中旬にかけて美しい花が咲き誇ります。佐布里地区で生み出された「佐布里梅」は知多市の天然記念物に指定されています。

開催期間：2026年2月14日(土)～3月15日(日)
※ ライトアップは、3月6日(金)～8日(日)

☞岩津天満宮　梅まつり（岡崎市）

御周知のとおり天神さんと梅はセット。菅原道真公を祀る岩津天満宮は、学問の神様としてよく知られております。毎年2月から3月下旬には、紅梅、白梅、枝垂れ梅など約400本が咲き乱れております。東山梅苑では、天皇陛下御即位奉祝の全国名燈篭本歌写の灯籠が散策の趣を高めてくれます。

開催期間：2月上旬～3月中旬
開催場所：岩津天満宮

 

☞平芝公園梅まつり（豊田市）

広さ6.28万平方mの広大な平芝公園には、寒紅梅など37種、約530本の梅の木があります。種類によって開花の時期が異なるため、2月中旬から3月中旬までの長期間にわたって梅の花が見られます。

開催期間：2月中旬～3月中旬
開催場所：平芝公園

 

☞向山緑地内梅林園　春まつり（うめ）（豊橋市）

早咲き、中咲き、遅咲きの梅29種類・約400本が咲き、梅が開花する2月上旬から3月上旬にかけて春まつりが開催されます。

開催期間：2月上旬～3月上旬

開催場所：向山緑地内梅林園

 

☞川売の梅花まつり（新城市）

毎年、3月上旬～中旬が見頃となる新城市川売地区の梅園です。
川売の段々畑には、南高梅（なんこううめ）、鶯宿梅（おうしゅくばい）など７種類の実梅の木約１５００本のほか、花梅も植えられています。農家は梅に囲まれるように点在し、山間の傾斜地に広がる満開の風景は、まさに現代の桃源郷。

「桃源郷」などと言われては気になって仕方ありませんので、いつか訪れたいスポットの一つです。

開催期間：2026年2月21日㈯～3月15日(日)
※ 毎年3月上旬～中旬頃が見頃

With the warmth of the three-day weekend, plum blossoms have started appearing everywhere. Talking with family and friends about plum blossoms, it seems there are quite a few good spots for viewing them here in Aichi Prefecture. Curious, I looked into it.

☞ Nagoya Castle (Nagoya City)
Famous for its golden shachihoko, Nagoya Castle has about 60 plum trees planted in two plum groves within the castle grounds, coloring the early spring scenery. About 10 varieties are present, including rare types like “Omoi no Mama,” which blooms both red and white flowers on the same tree.

Best viewing period: Mid-February to mid-March

Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Last entry to the Honmaru Palace and Nishinomaru Treasure Museum is at 4:00 PM)

 

☞ Nagoya City Agricultural Center dela farm Weeping Plum Festival (Nagoya City)

Renowned as one of Japan’s premier weeping plum blossom spots, visitors can freely enjoy viewing approximately 700 trees of 12 varieties. As of February 22nd, the blossoms appear to be about 50% in bloom. Updates on the blooming progress are shared on Instagram and other platforms.

Event Period: Saturday, February 14, 2026 – Sunday, March 15, 2026
Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Open daily during the period)

 

☞ Higashitaniyama Fruit Park (Nagoya City)

The park features a plum garden where you can enjoy approximately 150 trees of about 40 varieties of plum blossoms from early February to mid-March. In March, plum, apricot, plum, almond, and peach blossoms bloom in succession. Visitors can enjoy fruit tree blossoms up close.

Event Period: February 27 (Fri) – March 22 (Sun), 2026
Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

 

☞ Otaka Ryokuchi Flowering Plum Festival (Nagoya City)

Approximately 400 flowering plum trees of 15 varieties planted within Otaka Ryokuchi Park bloom beautifully. The park is filled with colorful plum blossoms, and the view from the pond area, where white, red, and pale pink hues blend together, is also highly recommended. On weekends and holidays during the “Flowering Plum Festival,” food trucks will be available, and various events will be held.

☞Ōagata Shrine Plum Garden Plum Festival (Inuyama City)

The Plum Festival is held from mid-February to March at Ōagata Shrine, where 340 red and white weeping plum trees bloom magnificently. Be sure to also visit the National Treasure Inuyama Castle, mentioned in a recent blog post.

☞17th Inazawa Plum Festival (Inazawa City)

The Aichi Prefectural Nursery Center’s Plum Variety Garden features 200 uniquely beautiful plum trees of 104 varieties blooming across the grounds, making it a nationally rare and valuable reference garden. New varieties are always intriguing, aren’t they?

☞32nd Saburi Pond Plum Festival (Chita City)

Around Saburi Pond, approximately 6,000 plum trees of 25 varieties—the largest collection in Aichi Prefecture—bloom beautifully from mid-February to mid-March. The “Saborii Plum,” cultivated in the Saborii district, is designated as a Natural Monument of Chita City.

☞ Iwa-tsu Tenmangu Shrine Plum Festival (Okazaki City)

As is well known, Tenjin-sama and plum blossoms go hand in hand. Iwa-tsu Tenmangu Shrine, dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, is famously revered as the god of learning. Every year from February to late March, approximately 400 plum trees—including red, white, and weeping varieties—bloom profusely. At Higashiyama Umeen, lanterns featuring reproductions of famous national lantern designs created to celebrate His Majesty the Emperor’s accession enhance the charm of strolling through the garden.

Event Period: Early February to Mid-March
Location: Iwatsu Tenmangu Shrine

 

☞ Hiraba Park Plum Festival (Toyota City)

The vast Hiraba Park, spanning 62,800 square meters, features approximately 530 plum trees of 37 varieties, including cold-hardy red plums. Since different varieties bloom at different times, plum blossoms can be enjoyed over a long period from mid-February to mid-March.

☞ Spring Festival (Ume) at Mukoyama Green Space Plum Grove (Toyohashi City)

Approximately 400 plum trees of 29 varieties—early, mid, and late bloomers—bloom here. The Spring Festival runs from early February to early March, coinciding with the plum blossom season.

Event Period: Early February to Early March
Event Hours: Free access for strolling within the garden
Location: Mukoyama Green Space Ume Forest Garden

 

☞ Kawauchi Plum Blossom Festival (Shinshiro City)

This plum garden in Shinshiro City’s Kawauchi district reaches its peak viewing period annually from early to mid-March.
The terraced fields of Kawauchi feature approximately 1,500 fruit-bearing plum trees of seven varieties, including Nanko Ume and Oshuku Ume, alongside flowering plum trees. Farms are scattered amidst the plum trees, and the landscape of full bloom spreading across the mountain slopes is truly a modern-day paradise.

Being called a “paradise” makes me incredibly curious, so it’s definitely a spot I want to visit someday.

Event Period: Saturday, February 21, 2026 – Sunday, March 15, 2026
※ Peak bloom is typically early to mid-March each year
Location: Kawauri District, Shinshiro City
