本日はこんな素敵な置き時計が風光舎にお目見えです。

文字盤の下部には ”MADE BY SEIKOSHA,TOKYO,JAPAN”の文字が。

いかにも時代の勝者の風格⁈

職人さんの卓越した当時の技術がぎゅっと詰め込まれています。

横から見るとスケルトンになっており、魅せられます。

いかにも物語に溶け込んでいそうな時計であります。

 

そして先日鑑賞した映画「ザ・ゴールドフィンチ」。

（個人的に好きな「裏切りのサーカス」の脚本家ピーター・ストローハンということで楽しみに観ました。）

ざっくりですが、オランダ画家のカレル・ファブリティウスの名画『ゴシキヒワ』を巡る物語です。

この映画にも素敵なアンティークショップが登場していました。

本日のセイコー社の置時計はこのお店にぴったりはまる！

アンティークのよさは、このお品は元のご主人のそばで何を見てきたのだろうと想像を巡らせるところ。

そして映画の『ゴシキヒワ』のようにいろんな場所へ飛んでいくのだろうなと羨ましくも思います。

 

海外渡航がまだまだ辛抱で、大分うずうずが溜まってきた季節の変わり目。

映画で旅する楽しみを、古美術たちともうしばらく続けたいと思います。

There was a nice antique shop in this movie as well.

Today’s Seiko table clock fits perfectly in this shop!
