今週末の名古屋は様々なニュースで大変騒がしいく、いつもは悩ましいブログのネタなのですが、スタッフF、今日に限っては何を選んでよいのか頭の中が混乱している状態であります。

 

昨日は名鉄デパートが71年余りの歴史に幕を閉じました。その様子がニュースで流れていましたが、たくさんの人に惜しまれながら閉まっていくシャッターの様子をみていると、71年の重みと共になんとも言えない淋しさがこみ上げてきましたよね。

 

また、最後の日にデパートを訪れた方のインタビューの様子をみていると、71年もの間、親子や孫の代まで買い物などで一緒に過ごした思い出の話をしていたり、最後の記念写真を撮ったり、様々な人との大切な思い出と共にデパートがあったのだな…なんて、これはちょっとジンとくるではないですか。

 

自分は子供の頃からいろいろ引っ越しが多く、ずっと同じ土地で同じ時を過ごした街やこういった場所（デパートもそのひとつでしょうか）との思い出や記憶がないので、子供の頃からそんな大切な思い出がある感覚がとても羨ましくもあり、どんな感覚なのかなぁ？なんて逆に思ったりもするんですよ…。

 

そんな最後のシーンでごった返した名駅ですが、昨夜はバンテリンドームにもたくさんの人がヒートアップしておりました。

そう、WBCの壮行試合対中日戦です！。先日の大谷選手の県営名古屋空港へのプライベートジェット到着から始まり、地域のニュースが試合開催のバンテリンドームや選手の宿泊ホテルなどなど、どこかしらファンが詰めかけている状態のようでして、名古屋の街中がなんだかいろいろ賑やかであります。

 

 

で、スタッフYはといいますと、先日はお天気もよかったのでちょっと別のところへ出かけてみました。

大河ドラマ「豊臣兄弟！名古屋中村大河ドラマ館」です。こちらのドラマ館は先月の1月24日～開催されおりまして、早速訪れてみましたよ。

 

 

 

 

こちらのドラマ館は秀吉生誕の地、現在の中村区の中村公園で開催されているのですが、その中村公園には豊臣秀吉公を祀る豊国神社が建立されています。明治18年に現在の地に地元住民の強い意志で創設されたこの神社を中心として公園設備がなされ、現在は近隣の方たちの憩いの場ともなっています。

 

ちなみにといいますか、やはりといいますか、豊国神社は「出世開運」「勝ち運」の最強スポットでして。農民から天下統一を果たし、最後は豊国大明神となり神様になって祀られるのですから、こんなに出世した人物は他におりませんし、こちらの「勝守り」はかなりご利益ありそうですね。

 

また、この公園の常泉寺は秀吉の生誕の地に建立されており、秀吉の書や秀吉が使っていたお道具などが残っています。境内には産湯に使われた井戸もあるようで、確かにこの地で秀吉や秀長たちが生まれ育ったことがわかります。

 

 

では「豊臣兄弟！名古屋中村大河ドラマ館」へ。

 

 

 

 

 

 

館内は、いきなり秀長と秀吉のアップが出迎えてくれるのですが、第一回目放送、第二回目放送の、兄妹のボロボロの衣装が展示されていました。観ていた方は記憶にあるのではないでしょうか。また、信長が練り歩きながら騎乗して登場するシーンのあの燃えるような赤の衣装も。小栗旬さんは長身なので衣装もシュッとしています笑。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

また、撮影で使われた小道具やセットなども展示されており、「あ、これみたことあるぞ…」が諸所にありました。

展示物は撮影がすすむごとにかえていくようですので、もう少し出世した豊臣兄弟のシーンや衣装も登場するのではないでしょうか。

 

 

 

 

 

 

そんなドラマ館を後にしようとしたその時、上空に明日にブルーインパルスが！。どうやら本日3月1日、愛知県小牧基地の小牧基地航空祭にてブルーインパルスが飛ぶようでして、昨日はその練習風景をたまたま見ることができました。

 

 

 

 

 

 

騒がしい週末はまだまだ続きそうですね笑。ブルーインパルスを近くでみたい方は是非、小牧へ。

This weekend in Nagoya has been incredibly noisy with all sorts of news, which usually makes for a tricky blog topic. But today, Staff F is in a state of confusion, not knowing what to choose. So, let’s just go all out.

 

Yesterday, Meitetsu Department Store closed its doors after over 71 years of history. Watching the news footage of its shutters closing, mourned by so many, brought a profound sense of loss mixed with the weight of those 71 years.

Watching interviews with people visiting the department store on its final day, hearing stories of memories spent shopping together across generations—parents, children, even grandchildren—or taking last commemorative photos… it really hits you how deeply this place was woven into people’s cherished memories.

 

Having moved around a lot since childhood, I never had the chance to build lasting memories tied to a single place or institution like this department store. Seeing others cherish such deep, shared experiences makes me wonder what that feeling must be like…

 

While Meieki Station was packed during that final scene, last night the Bantelin Dome was also buzzing with excitement.

Yes, it was the WBC send-off game against the Chunichi Dragons! Starting with Ohtani’s private jet landing at Nagoya Airport the other day, local news has been filled with scenes of fans crowding around the Bantelin Dome where the game was held, the players’ hotels, and everywhere else. The whole city of Nagoya feels unusually lively.

 

The weather was nice the other day, so Staff Y also ventured out somewhere else.

It was the Taiga Drama “Toyotomi Brothers! Nagoya Nakamura Taiga Drama Museum”. This drama museum opened last month on January 24th, and I visited it right away.

 

This drama museum is held at Nakamura Park in Nakamura Ward, the birthplace of Hideyoshi. Within Nakamura Park stands the Toyokuni Shrine, dedicated to Lord Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Established in 1885 at its current location through the strong will of local residents, the park facilities were built around this shrine, and it now serves as a place of relaxation for nearby residents. Incidentally, or perhaps inevitably, Toyokuni Shrine is the ultimate spot for “advancement and good fortune” and “victory luck.” Rising from peasant to unifier of the realm, he ultimately became Toyokuni Daimyojin, enshrined as a deity. No other figure achieved such meteoric success. Their “Victory Amulet” certainly seems blessed.

Furthermore, Jōsenji Temple within this park was built on Hideyoshi’s birthplace. It houses his calligraphy and personal belongings. The grounds even feature the well used for his birth bath, clearly showing this is where Hideyoshi and Hidenaga were born and raised.

 

 

 

Now, on to the “Toyotomi Brothers! Nagoya Nakamura Taiga Drama Museum”.

 

Inside, you’re immediately greeted by close-ups of Hidenaga and Hideyoshi. On display were the tattered costumes worn by the siblings in the first and second episodes. Viewers might remember them. Also featured was that fiery red costume worn by Nobunaga as he rode through the streets. Oguri Shun is tall, so the costume looked sharp on him, lol.

 

Props and sets used in filming were also on display, and I kept thinking, “Oh, I’ve seen this before…” in various spots.

It seems the exhibits change as filming progresses, so scenes and costumes featuring the Toyotomi brothers after they’ve risen further in status might appear soon.

 

As I was about to leave the drama museum…

Then, in the sky above, tomorrow’s Blue Impulse! Apparently, the Blue Impulse will be flying tomorrow at the Komaki Air Base Festival in Aichi Prefecture. Yesterday, I happened to catch a glimpse of their practice session.

 

Looks like the busy weekend is far from over. If you want to see the Blue Impulse on March 1st, definitely head to Komaki!
