このところ暑かったり寒かったりで、着ていた上着をクリーニングに出そうかどうしようか悩んでいたら、また寒くなって引っ張り出して着たり数少ないアイテムの中で、ああでもないこうでもないを毎年のように繰り返しているのですが、今年は特に寒暖差が激しく、日々悩ましい方も多いのではないでしょうか。

 

 

 

 

それは着るものに限ったことではなく、食に関しても同じ。先日も少し暑かった日に我が家ではアイスコーヒーにしてみはしましたがやはりホットコーヒーにもどってみたりといずれも悩ましい状況でありました。

 

昨日はそんな騒がしい気候の中、珍しくすっきりと晴れた爽やかな日でしたので気分もよかったわけですよ。そんな中ふと、このところ勝手に考案している夏のオリジナルドリンクのことをちょっと思い出しまして、一昨年はまった「ミルク出し珈琲」を再度作ってみたくなりました。

 

レシピはお伝えするほどではないのですが、ミルクの中に挽いた珈琲を入れ一晩冷蔵庫で待つだけなのですが（分量はお好みですので調べてみてください）、今朝は一晩待ったミルク出し珈琲を早速試飲。

 

ゆっくりと抽出された珈琲の香りとコク、そして少しトロッとした食感がなんともいえずクセになる珈琲でして、普通にアイスコーヒーにミルクを入れるよりも濃厚。ブラック派の人でなけれは是非お試ししてほしいですね。冷えたミルクですので、氷を入れずに飲むのが個人的にはおすすめです。

 

そういえばこのミルク出し珈琲にハマったのはたしが、2年前の夏。

かの状況下で外出も思い切ってできない中、「おうち時間」をどう過ごすかをみなさん色々試行していた時期だった頃でしょうか。

 

私もこの「お家時間」をどう過ごせばいいのか試行錯誤し「勝手に夏のオリジナルドリンクを作る。」みたいな変な趣味を作り出したりしたのですが、今思えばちょっと笑えてきますね笑。

２年前から本当に大変なこと続きでしたが、私的には日頃使っていなかった「このピンチどうするか脳」が活性化されたたのではと、少し落ち着きを取り戻した今、そう思うようにしております。

 

そんな２年前のことをいろいろ思い出しながら今朝は久しぶりにミルク出し珈琲を飲んできましたが、あの頃と味は変わってないはずなのに今朝飲んだミルク出し珈琲はこころなしかほろ苦い味か？（気のせいでしょうか笑。）ですが、やはりおいしかったです。

今年もハマるのでしょうか…？ミルク出し珈琲。

It has been hot and cold recently, and I have been wondering whether or not to take my jacket to the cleaners, and then it gets cold again and I pull it out to put it on, and I repeat this and that with the few items I have. This year, however, the difference in temperatures is particularly severe, and many of you are probably struggling with it on a daily basis.

 

It is not only about what to wear, but also about food. The other day, on a slightly hot day, we had iced coffee, but then went back to hot coffee.

 

Yesterday was an unusually clear and refreshing day in such a noisy climate, so I was in a good mood. I suddenly remembered about an original summer drink that I have been inventing on my own recently, and I wanted to try making the “milk-dashi coffee” again, which I was addicted to the year before last.

 

The recipe is not so much to tell you, but all you have to do is put ground coffee in milk and wait overnight in the refrigerator (the amount is up to you, so please check it out), and this morning I immediately tasted the coffee with milk that I had waited overnight.

 

The aroma, richness, and slightly tangy texture of the slowly brewed coffee is indescribably addictive, and it is richer than regular iced coffee with milk. If you are not a black coffee drinker, you should definitely give it a try. I personally recommend drinking it without ice because the milk is cold.

 

Come to think of it, it was the summer of two years ago that I got hooked on this coffee with milk.

I guess it was around the time when everyone was trying to figure out how to spend their “home time” as they were not able to go out as much as they would have liked under the current circumstances. I, too, tried to figure out how to spend this “home time,” and through trial and error, created a strange hobby like “making my own original summer drink. I created some strange hobbies like “making my own original summer drinks”.

However, in hindsight, it seemed to have activated my “what to do in a pinch” brain, which I had not used on a daily basis, and I think that was a good thing.

 

Remembering those two years ago, I had a cup of coffee with milk this morning for the first time in a long time. The taste should not have changed since then, but the coffee with milk that I drank this morning tasted a little bit bitter. (Is it my imagination?) But it was still delicious.

Will I get addicted to it again this year…? Coffee with milk.
