毎年恒例の覚王山秋祭が今年も開催されます！覚王山では年に３回、春、夏、秋に日泰寺参道にてお祭りが開催されていますが、どの季節もそれぞれに趣向が凝らされています。

場所：覚王山日泰寺参道

ステージでは様々ジャンルの音楽や和太鼓、フラダンスやベリーダンスなどのパフォーマンスが行われる予定です。懐かしのゲームコーナー、手作り雑貨やアクセサリーのマーケットなど子供から大人まで楽しめます。

秋祭り限定の屋台が参道に並び、秋限定のグルメやスイーツも堪能できます。美味しいものを片手に秋のそぞろ歩きはいかかでしょうか。

※１０月２５日（土）、２６日（日）には田代小学校の生徒が作成した燈籠の灯が参道を彩ります。

The annual Kakuozan Autumn Festival is back again this year! Kakuozan hosts festivals three times a year—spring, summer, and autumn—along the path to Nittaiji Temple, each season offering its own unique charm.

Autumn festival-exclusive food stalls line the approach, offering seasonal gourmet treats and sweets. Why not enjoy a leisurely autumn stroll with something delicious in hand?

※On October 25 (Sat) and 26 (Sun), lanterns crafted by students of Tashiro Elementary School will illuminate the approach.

前回の「相続と骨董買取のお話」では、身近な空き家の片付けのお話から、まずは家の中の御品物のお片付けについて、不用品を「必要なもの」「捨てるもの」「保留するもの」に仕分けることについてのお話でした。

さて、それぞれ仕分けたところで、次にどう処分するかの問題がのしかかってきます。

ですが、「価値があるのか分からないけれどどこで売ればいいの？」「骨董品なら高く売りたいけれど、どこで買い取ってくれるの？」という疑問が湧いてきます。
ご自宅に眠っていた骨董品、形見や思い出の品など、大切な品々を少しでも高く売りたい気持ちは誰しも同じ。
ところが、骨董品は種類も価値も様々で、どこで売ればいいのか悩んでいる方も多いのではないでしょうか。

骨董品を売却する方法として、大きく分けて2つの方法があります。

1: メルカリなどのフリマアプリで売却する

2: 買取業者に依頼する

近年では、フリマアプリの利用者が増え、手軽に売買できることから、骨董品を売却する選択肢として人気が高まっています。しかし、骨董品は価値が判断しにくい場合も多く、専門知識がないと適切な価格で売却できない可能性もあります。

フリマアプリは、誰でも簡単に利用できる手軽さが魅力ですが、骨董品を売却する際には、いくつかの注意点があります。

１．価格交渉が発生する可能性がある

２．トラブル対応が発生する可能性がある

３．骨董品の価値が理解されていない場合、設定より低い価格で売却されてしまう可能性がある

４．出品から売れるまでに時間がかかる場合がある

５．梱包・発送の手間がかかる

フリマアプリですので、購入者との間でのさまざまなトラブルが考えられます。例えば、商品が届かなかった、商品が説明と違っていたなどのトラブルが発生した場合、出品者側が対応しなければなりません。

また、骨董品は、一般的な商品と比べて売れるまでに時間がかかる場合が多く、特に、価値の高い骨董品は、購入者が限られるため、売却までに時間がかかる可能性があるので、それまで手元に保管しておかなくてはいけません。

そして売却が決まったら、商品の発送は慎重に行わなければいけません。骨董品は壊れやすいものが多いため、丁寧に梱包する必要があります。また、発送の手続きも、一般的な商品と比べて手間がかかるなど、出品者側の負担が大きくなる場合があります。

一方、買取業者は、専門知識を持った鑑定士が査定を行うため、骨董品の価値を正しく評価してもらい、適切な価格で売却できる可能性が高いと考えられます。

また、査定に基づいて買取価格を提示しますので、購入者との価格交渉を行う必要がありません。

そして、商品は買い取られた時点で、買取業者が引き取りますので、梱包・発送の手間を省くことができます。特に、大きな品や自分では運ぶことが難しい品物は、無料で出張買取を利用することをおススメします。

Now, once you’ve sorted everything, the next problem looms: how to dispose of it.

Questions arise: “I don’t know if it has value, but where should I sell it?” or “If it’s an antique, I want to sell it for a good price, but where will they buy it?”
Everyone shares the desire to sell cherished items—antiques, heirlooms, or sentimental possessions—for the best possible price.
However, antiques vary greatly in type and value, leaving many unsure where to sell them.

There are two main methods for selling antiques:

1: Selling via flea market apps like Mercari
2: Using a professional buyer

In recent years, flea market apps have gained popularity as a selling option for antiques due to their ease of use and growing user base. However, antiques can be difficult to value accurately, and without specialized knowledge, you might not get a fair price.

While the ease of use for anyone is appealing, there are several points to note when selling antiques via flea market apps:

1. Price negotiation may occur
2. Potential for disputes arising
3. If the antique’s value isn’t understood, it may sell for less than the set price
4. Time may pass from listing to sale
5. Packing and shipping require effort

Since it’s a flea market app, various issues with buyers are possible. For example, if problems arise like the item not arriving or the item differing from the description, the seller must handle the situation.

Furthermore, antiques often take longer to sell compared to general merchandise. Especially for high-value antiques, the pool of potential buyers is limited, meaning it could take considerable time to sell. This means you must store the item until it sells.

Once a sale is confirmed, shipping must be handled with great care. Many antiques are fragile and require careful packaging. Shipping procedures themselves can also be more labor-intensive than for general goods, potentially increasing the seller’s burden.

On the other hand, with a buyer’s agent, appraisals are conducted by experts with specialized knowledge. This means the antique’s value is likely to be accurately assessed, increasing the possibility of selling it at a fair price.

Furthermore, they offer a purchase price based on their appraisal, eliminating the need for price negotiations with buyers.

Additionally, the dealer takes possession of the item upon purchase, saving you the trouble of packing and shipping. For large items or those difficult to transport yourself, we highly recommend utilizing our free on-site appraisal service.

急な冷え込みで、寝具や着るものの支度に慌てふためいております。気温が下がることは予報で分かっていたものの寒さを実感しないと重い腰をなかなか上げられませんでした。それにしましても温かい布団にくるまって眠るのはなんとも気分が安らぎます。まぁそんな悠長なことを言っていられるのも冬本番前の今だけかもしれませんが…。

さて、先日耳を疑うニュースが飛び込んできました。初めはフェイクニュースかとも思いましたが、パリのルーブル美術館で盗難事件が発生したとのこと。しかも開館直後の白昼堂々の犯行だそうで、そんなことが可能なのかとしばらく状況が飲み込めませんでした。ルーブル美術館は美術館でありながら世界遺産に登録されている宮殿でもあるため、外に柵をつけるのが難しいともいわれています。ニュース映像では、引っ越しで使われるようなハシゴクレーン車がそのまま放置され、電動カッターで切り取られた窓が写っており、現実に起こったことなのだと納得しました。ほんの数分の出来事だったようです。

今回、王室の宝飾品などが展示されている「ギャラリー・アポロン」から９点の宝飾品が被害に遭いました。９点といってもそれぞれ１９世紀フランス王室に関わる贅を尽くした品々です。２点は既に発見されたという情報もありますが定かではありません。発見されたとされる１点はナポレオン３世の妻のウジェニー皇后の王冠で、金色の鷲と５６個のエメラルド、１３５４個のダイヤモンドがあしらわれているそうです。想像を絶する豪華さですね。

盗まれた品々は宝石自体の価格だけではなく、辿ってきた歴史や文化的観点からみても計り知れない価値がある宝飾品ばかりです。

他に被害に遭ったのは、同じくウジェニー皇后が所有していた大型のリボン型のブローチ、「聖遺物容器」のブローチ、ティアラです。ティアラは２１２個の真珠、１９９８個のダイヤモンド、９９２個のローズカットダイヤモンドがあしらわれています。

またマリー・アメリ―王妃（フランス最後の国王ルイ・フィリップの妻）とオルタンス王妃（ナポレオン１世の妻の連れ子）が所有していたサファイアのティアラ、ネックレス、イヤリング（片方？）。

マリー・ルイーズ皇后（ナポレオン１世の２番目の妻）のエメラルドのネックレスとイヤリング一対。ネックレスにあしらわれているのはエメラルド３２個、ダイヤモンド１１３８個。もう宝石の数の多さに麻痺してきましたね。ちなみに中央のエメラルドは１３．７５カラット！だそうです。こちらの宝飾品はナポレオン御用達の宝石職人であるマリ・エティエンヌ・ニトにより作られ、のちのフランスの宝石ブランドCHAUMET（ショーメ）のルーツとされています。

あまり宝石に興味がある方ではありませんが、写真を見るだけでもその美しさに目を奪われてしまいます。

過去にはあの名画「モナ・リザ」も盗難の被害に遭いました。１９１１年、イタリアの画家ビンセンツォ・ペルージャが「絵画を故郷へ戻す」という名分で美術館に一晩隠れたのち、上着の下に「モナ・リザ」を忍ばせて立ち去りました。２年間自宅に隠していましたが、フィレンツェのホテルで無事発見されることとなりました。

宝石は加工がたやすく、現状のまま戻ってくるのは難しいのではとも言われていますが、どうか奇跡が起きますように！

The sudden cold snap has me scrambling to prepare bedding and clothing. Even though the forecast warned of dropping temperatures, I couldn’t quite bring myself to act until I actually felt the chill. Still, there’s nothing quite like curling up in a warm futon for a peaceful night’s sleep. Well, I suppose I can afford to be so leisurely only now, before winter truly sets in…

Now, the other day, some unbelievable news hit me. At first, I thought it might be fake news, but apparently, there was a theft at the Louvre Museum in Paris. What’s more, it happened in broad daylight, right after the museum opened. I couldn’t wrap my head around how that was even possible. The Louvre is not just a museum; it’s also a palace registered as a World Heritage Site, which apparently makes it difficult to install fences around the exterior. News footage showed a ladder crane truck, the kind used for moving, left abandoned on site, and a window cut out with an electric saw. That’s when I realized it was real. It all happened in just a few minutes.

This time, nine pieces of jewelry were stolen from the Galerie Apollon, where royal jewels are displayed. While nine pieces may sound like a lot, each is an extravagant item connected to the French royal family of the 19th century. There are reports that two pieces have already been found, but this is not confirmed. One piece said to have been recovered is the crown of Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III. It is said to be adorned with a golden eagle, 56 emeralds, and 1,354 diamonds. The sheer opulence is beyond imagination.

The stolen items are jewels of immeasurable value, not only for the gems themselves but also for their history and cultural significance.

Other items stolen include a large ribbon-shaped brooch owned by Empress Eugénie, a “reliquary” brooch, and a tiara. The tiara is adorned with 212 pearls, 1,998 diamonds, and 992 rose-cut diamonds.

Also stolen were a sapphire tiara, necklace, and earring (one piece?) that belonged to Queen Marie-Amélie (wife of France’s last king, Louis-Philippe) and Queen Hortense (stepdaughter of Napoleon I’s wife).

An emerald necklace and matching pair of earrings that belonged to Empress Marie Louise (Napoleon I’s second wife). The necklace features 32 emeralds and 1,138 diamonds. The sheer number of gems is almost overwhelming. Incidentally, the central emerald is said to be 13.75 carats! This piece was crafted by Marie-Étienne Nitot, jeweler to Napoleon, and is considered the origin of the later French jewelry house CHAUMET.

In the past, even the famous painting “Mona Lisa” fell victim to theft. In 1911, Italian painter Vincenzo Peruggia hid in the museum overnight under the pretext of “returning the painting to its homeland,” then slipped the “Mona Lisa” under his coat and left. He hid it at his home for two years, but it was safely recovered at a hotel in Florence.

It’s said that since jewels can be easily altered, it’s difficult for them to be returned in their original state. Still, we can only hope for a miracle.

Today, let’s talk about something a bit more relatable: clearing out vacant homes.

At Fūkosha Antiques, we’ve seen a significant increase lately in inquiries from people wanting to clean out their vacant family homes or dispose of everything entirely. For those whose family home is far from their own residence, or who lack the time to tackle it slowly, cleaning out a vacant house can be a daunting task.

However, leaving a vacant house untouched carries risks: the building deteriorates, it can become a hotbed for crime, and it may lead to neighborhood disputes or increased financial burdens. Deciding how to proceed is essential. As a first step, why not start by clearing out the belongings inside the house?

Clearing out a vacant family home involves significant differences in cost and effort depending on whether you do it yourself or hire a professional, and the scope of the cleanup. Here are key points for proceeding and estimated costs.

Approach to clearing out:
First, create an overall plan and start by sorting items into “necessary,” “discard,” and “hold” categories. 1. Create a plan
First, decide in advance among family/relatives who will take which heirlooms and how costs will be shared.
2. Clearing out can take several months to over a year.
Sorting and Separation:
Keep necessary items: Select and store sentimental items or things you plan to use going forward.

Now, during this sorting stage, relatives often find antiques or fine art pieces cherished by the deceased. They frequently struggle with questions like: Is this valuable? Can it be disposed of? Here are some points to consider:

1. Avoid careless disposal: Don’t discard items lightly just because you don’t know their value. Always have them appraised by an expert.
2. Consideration with inheritance procedures: Since antiques are part of the inheritance estate, if you are considering renouncing your inheritance, be careful not to dispose of valuable items without authorization.
3. Tax implications: Selling an antique item or set valued at over 300,000 yen may be subject to taxation as capital gains. When selling, be sure to confirm the tax implications as well.

In any case, to avoid trouble, it is advisable for relatives to share information and confirm details among themselves.

Furthermore, since these belong to the deceased, relatives may be unaware of their value and surprised upon appraisal. There are also cases where items turn out to be unexpectedly valuable. Therefore, whether selling or storing, we recommend having them appraised by a specialist who can determine their worth. Continuing from last time, this is “A Discussion on Inheritance and Antique Purchases.”
Last time, we discussed how high-value antiques may be considered part of the inheritance estate and potentially subject to inheritance tax. (Artworks valued at ¥50,000 or less per piece can be declared collectively as household goods.) So, how is the value of antiques determined during inheritance?

The valuation of artworks in inheritance is governed by the National Tax Agency’s Basic Guidelines for Property Valuation, which stipulates they are assessed at “market value.”

When I hear “market value,” am I the only one who thinks of the menu at a slightly pricier sushi restaurant? Not that I frequent them much… This is because the price of fish fluctuates daily based on factors like seasonal changes and weather affecting catch volumes. Poor catches increase scarcity value, driving prices up.

For antiques and artworks in inheritance, market value refers to the price at which they would be bought or sold at the time of inheritance. The purchase price is generally considered less relevant. The key factor is the supply and demand balance for the piece at the time of inheritance. The price is calculated based on its rarity, condition, age, design, size, color, materials, and more. Even for works by the same artist, the valuation can vary depending on the era in which it was created.

There are two methods for evaluating “market value”: transaction price and expert opinion price.

・Transaction price is calculated using recent, actual data, such as auction hammer prices or art dealer sales prices. However, while objective appraisal is possible for widely circulated works, accurately determining the appraisal value becomes difficult for items with low circulation or one-of-a-kind pieces.

・Expert opinion price is the market value determined based on appraisal by art specialists. While not referring to sushi ingredients, the valuation of artworks also fluctuates daily based on rarity and popularity. When multiple works by the same artist are sold simultaneously, prices can suddenly drop. Relying solely on outdated art catalogs may result in taxation based on the high prices quoted at the time of sale. Determining the appropriate market value is difficult for the average person, making appraisal by an experienced specialist essential. We also recommend obtaining appraisals from multiple experts for comparison.

過ごしやす季節となり、ご自宅や実家のお片付けには最適な季節ですね。暑かったり寒かったりとお片付けにとりかかれる季節は意外と短いですので、この時期大切に使いたいものです。

さてさて、お客様の中でも生前整理や遺品整理などのお片付けの際に古美術骨董品買取と相続のお悩みをよくお聞きします。そんな相続と骨董買取のお悩みをシリーズでお伝えしていきますので、ご参考にしていただければ幸いです。それではまいりましょう。

まずは基本的なことから。

相続において高価な骨董品や美術品は相続財産として課税対象となります。故人が収集していた骨董品は、相続人がその価値を知らないことも多いため、見落としがちな相続財産のひとつです。

その際の骨董品の相続税評価額は、相続開始時の時価で評価することが原則なのですが、専門家による鑑定が必要となってきますが、専門家による「精通者意見価格」を参考に取引市場で売買される場合の時価で評価します。

相続税の申告期限は相続開始から10か月以内とし、評価額が5万円を超える高額なものは個別に財産として計上する必要があります。ただし、1点5万円以下の骨董品は家財一式としてまとめて相続税申告をすることが可能です。

また、相続した骨董品を売却・買取を検討する際も、まずは専門業者に査定を依頼して正しい時価を把握することが重要です。また、評価額が相続税の基礎控除を超える場合は相続税の課税対象となり売却益には所得税がかかりますので、相続税の支払い資金を確保するためや不要なものを効率よく整理するために売却を検討するケースも多いようです。

相続・売却・買取いずれの際も適正な評価額が必要となってきますので、一度ご相談ください。

First, the basics.

In inheritance, valuable antiques and artworks are subject to taxation as part of the estate. Antiques collected by the deceased are often overlooked as part of the estate, as heirs frequently lack awareness of their value.

The inheritance tax valuation for such antiques is generally based on their market value at the time of inheritance commencement. While professional appraisal is required, the valuation typically references the “expert opinion price” provided by specialists, reflecting the market value at which similar items would trade.

The deadline for filing the inheritance tax return is within 10 months of inheritance commencement. Items valued at over ¥50,000 must be listed individually as assets. However, antiques valued at ¥50,000 or less per item can be declared collectively as household goods in the inheritance tax return.

Furthermore, when considering selling or purchasing inherited antiques, it is crucial to first request an appraisal from a specialist to determine the correct market value. Additionally, if the assessed value exceeds the inheritance tax basic deduction, it becomes subject to inheritance tax, and income tax applies to any sale profits. Consequently, many people consider selling to secure funds for inheritance tax payments or to efficiently dispose of unwanted items.

久しぶりにスッキリとした秋晴れとなりました。夜空を見上げるには絶好のお天気です。

今、夜空には、今年発見された二つの彗星、「レモン彗星」と「スワン彗星」が地球に接近しているとのこと。

「レモン彗星」。果物のレモンではなく、2025年1月に発見されたアメリカの「レモン山天文台」にちなんで名付けられております。

この彗星が前回、太陽の近くに来たのはなんと約1300年前。そして次に訪れるのは約1100年後と予測されています。惑星の重力の影響で軌道が少しずつ変わるため、周期も変化するのだそう、まさに一期一会の天体ということになりますね。

そもそも彗星とは一体何なのかというと、実は、太陽の周りを回る、主に氷と塵（ちり）でできた小さな天体です。

日本ではその形が掃除につかう「竹ぼうき」に似ていることから「ほうき星」とも呼ばれます。江戸時代には「白気」などとも呼ばれました。

彗星といえば真っ直ぐ伸びている尾が特徴的ですが、実はいつも尾を引いているわけではありません。

彗星は太陽に近づくと、太陽の熱で氷が蒸発し、ガスや塵を放出します。これが「コマ」と呼ばれる彗星の頭の部分で、このコマが太陽によって光って見え、「尾」になるのだそうです。

写真では緑色に写ることが多いそうですが、これは彗星に含まれるガスの影響なのだそうで。星は点ですが、彗星は氷が溶けて尾ができるため、ボヤッとしているのが特徴で、その姿は星とは圧倒的に違うのだそう。

そういえば、尾を引いていて見た目が似ているように感じる流れ星は彗星とは違うもの。流れ星は宇宙のチリが地球の大気に衝突し、その際の摩擦によって光って見えます。その違いは、尾の方向で見分けられるのだそうです。

彗星は進行方向と関係なく、太陽の反対側に伸びていき、流れ星は進行方向の後ろ側に伸びていて、また彗星と比べると、一瞬光って見えるといった見え方をするとのことですので、夜空で確かめてみてくださいね。

来週21日ごろに地球に最も近づくレモン彗星。日没後の西の空にまだ少し明るさが残る夕暮れが終わり、完全に暗くなった頃が狙い目だそうです。

探す時に目印となるのは、有名な『北斗七星』。7つの星を結ぶとスプーンの形ができるが『りょうけん座』のあたりにいるのだそうですよ。彗星は毎日動いていくとのことですので、地球に最接近する21日ごろは、うしかい座の近くで見られる予想だとのこと。

レモン彗星の明るさは3等〜4等と予想されています。彗星は星と違い、「ぼんやりと広がった天体」。これは肉眼で見るには難しいので、双眼鏡は必須アイテム！まずは双眼鏡で探すのがおすすめだそうですよ。

また、便利な天体観測用のアプリもあるので、そちらを活用してみても。スマホの日時、GPS、電子コンパス、加速度センサーを利用して、リアルタイムの夜空の地図を表示してくれ、頭上の星空にカメラを向けるだけで、捉えた映像に天体の情報を重ねて表示できる優れもののようです。

惑星や恒星、銀河、星座の名前や位置がその場ですぐにわかるのだそうで、子供の頃さっぱり覚えられなかったせいでつまらなく感じた天体観測も、グッと興味がそそられます。

It’s been a while since we’ve had such a clear, crisp autumn day. It’s perfect weather for gazing up at the night sky.

Right now, two comets discovered this year, “Lemon Comet” and “Swan Comet,” are approaching Earth.

“Lemon Comet.” It’s not named after the fruit lemon, but after the American “Lemon Mountain Observatory” where it was discovered in January 2025.

This comet last approached the sun a staggering 1,300 years ago. It is predicted to return again in about 1,100 years. Due to the gravitational influence of planets, its orbit gradually changes, causing its orbital period to shift as well. Truly, it is a celestial event of a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.

So, what exactly is a comet? It’s a small celestial body, primarily composed of ice and dust, orbiting the Sun.

In Japan, its shape resembles a “bamboo broom” used for cleaning, hence it’s also called a “broom star.” During the Edo period, it was also known as “white vapor.”

While a comet’s straight, elongated tail is its defining feature, it doesn’t always have one.

As a comet approaches the Sun, the heat causes its ice to evaporate, releasing gas and dust. This is the head of the comet, called the “coma.” This coma is illuminated by the Sun, becoming the visible “tail.”

Photographs often show them appearing green, which is said to be due to the gases contained within the comet. While stars appear as points, comets are characterized by their fuzzy appearance because the ice melts and forms a tail, making their appearance vastly different from stars.

Incidentally, shooting stars, which also have tails and might seem similar in appearance, are different from comets. Shooting stars occur when cosmic dust collides with Earth’s atmosphere, glowing due to the resulting friction. The difference can apparently be distinguished by the direction of the tail.

Comets extend their tails away from the direction of travel, toward the opposite side of the Sun, while shooting stars extend their tails behind the direction of travel. Also, compared to comets, shooting stars appear as a brief flash of light. So, try spotting them in the night sky.

Lemon Comet will make its closest approach to Earth around the 21st of next week. The best viewing time is said to be after sunset, when the western sky is still slightly bright from twilight has faded and it has become completely dark.

A landmark to help you find it is the famous Big Dipper. Connecting its seven stars forms a spoon shape, and it’s located near the constellation Ursa Major. Since comets move daily, it’s predicted that around the 21st, when it’s closest to Earth, it will be visible near the constellation Boötes.

Comet Lemon is expected to be between magnitude 3 and 4. Unlike stars, comets are “faint, diffuse celestial objects.” This makes them difficult to see with the naked eye, so binoculars are essential! It’s recommended to start searching with binoculars.

There are also handy astronomy apps available, so give those a try too. These clever tools use your smartphone’s date/time, GPS, electronic compass, and accelerometer to display a real-time map of the night sky. Simply point your camera at the stars overhead, and it overlays information about the celestial objects onto the captured image.

It instantly identifies the names and positions of planets, stars, galaxies, and constellations. This makes stargazing much more engaging—something I found boring as a kid because I could never remember the names.

このところ名古屋はお天気が不安定でして、今朝も雨が降ったりやんだりの、そう「秋雨」の空模様であります。

日本海で秋雨前線の活動が活発になり、前線上の低気圧が北陸〜東北南部を通過し、前線が本州を南下するとの予想でして、前線に向かって暖かく湿った空気が流れ込むことで雨雲が発達し、北陸や岐阜県、東北地方、中国地方などでは雷を伴って非常に激しい雨が降り、大雨となる…なんて予報のようですが、ここ名古屋、今のところ小雨が降ったりやんだりのお天気でなんとか持ちこたえています。

そこで気になるのが、今週末10月18，19日の名古屋まつりのお天気。

名古屋まつりは、昭和30年に始まった名古屋の秋を彩る最大の祭です。
まつりのメインとなる豪華絢爛な行列では、織田信長・豊臣秀吉・徳川家康の三英傑が鎧武者を従えて行進する郷土英傑行列のほか、歴史と伝統に彩られた市指定文化財 山車揃 や市文化財 神楽揃、華やかなフラワーカーなども登場。また、2026年1月4日（日）にスタートする大河ドラマ『豊臣兄弟！』の特別隊が名古屋まつり行列に参加します。豊臣秀長役の主演・仲野太賀さん、織田信長役・小栗旬さんがオープンカーに乗ってドラマをPRし、旗持ちの子どもたちとともに名古屋まつりを盛り上げるようでして、自分も仲野太賀さん、小栗旬さんを一目会いに行こうか…なんてミーハー心が渦巻いていおります。よってお天気が気になるところであります。

来年の大河ドラマは豊臣兄弟のお話なのですが、このように大河ドラマは三英傑にちなんだものが多いため、馴染のあるゆかりの地がよくドラマで登場します。弊店のご近所城山八幡宮も、かつては織田信長の父、織田備後守信秀公が末森城として城を構えていたようでして、こんなふうに三英傑にちなんだ地が身近なのは愛知県あるあるな気もします。

自分もミーハー心がつい渦巻いてドラマで登場した地にはけっこう足を運んだりするのですが、かつての栄華を極めた城や名所が意外と町内に馴染んでいて「え？ここ？」みたいな感じの所も多いのです。ですが、ありがたいことにドラマのシーンによって、セットじゃなく本当の現地で妄想するわけですから、武将気分がそれはそれは爆上がりします笑。

少し前ですが住宅街で偶然に見つけたのは、秀吉の母の出生地でした。名古屋市内の御器所という所にあるのですが、立て看板をみて「え！」と、驚きました。普通の住宅地の中です。そんなふうに偶然に見つけられるのもこの地域の面白さでもあります。

こんなふうにありがたいことにドラマや映画で臨場感登場する場面は、すぐにそこはただの住宅地や何もない空き地（城跡）ではなくなるわけですが、来年の大河ドラマでも愛知県や東海地方の各所が登場しそうですので、今回はどこのシーンが登場するのかな…なんて妄想と楽しみが既に沸々と湧いております。

まずは、仲野太賀さん、小栗旬さんを一目会いに行くところからですので笑、秋雨前線がおとなしくしていてほしいものです。

The weather in Nagoya has been rather unstable lately, and this morning too, it’s been a case of rain on and off—yes, that “autumn rain” kind of sky.

The autumn rain front is becoming active over the Sea of Japan. Forecasts indicate a low-pressure system along the front will pass through the Hokuriku region to southern Tohoku, with the front itself moving southward across Honshu. Warm, moist air flowing toward the front is causing rain clouds to develop, bringing heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms to areas like Hokuriku, Gifu Prefecture, Tohoku, and Chugoku regions. It seems the forecast is predicting heavy rain, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms… However, here in Nagoya, it’s currently just drizzling on and off, and we’re managing to hold out for now.

This naturally makes me wonder about the weather for this weekend’s Nagoya Festival.

The Nagoya Festival, which began in 1955, is the largest festival coloring Nagoya’s autumn.
The festival’s main event is the magnificent procession, featuring the Local Heroes Parade where the Three Great Heroes—Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu—march accompanied by armored warriors. Other highlights include the City-Designated Cultural Properties Float Procession and City Cultural Properties Kagura Procession, both steeped in history and tradition, as well as the vibrant Flower Cars. Furthermore, a special contingent for the upcoming NHK Taiga drama “Toyotomi Brothers!”, premiering on Sunday, January 4, 2026, will participate in the Nagoya Festival parade. The lead actor playing Toyotomi Hidenaga, Taiga Nakano, and the actor playing Oda Nobunaga, Shun Oguri, will ride in an open-top car to promote the drama. They will join children carrying flags to liven up the Nagoya Festival. Honestly, I’m feeling a bit of a fangirl moment, thinking about going to catch a glimpse of Taiga Nakano and Shun Oguri myself… So, the weather is definitely a concern.

Next year’s Taiga drama will be about the Toyotomi brothers. Since many Taiga dramas are based on the Three Great Heroes, familiar places associated with them often appear in the dramas. Our neighborhood’s Shiroyama Hachimangu Shrine, for instance, was once the site of Suemori Castle, built by Oda Nobuhide, father of Oda Nobunaga. Having places connected to the Three Great Heroes so close by feels like a common thing in Aichi Prefecture.

My own fanboy spirit inevitably swirls, and I often find myself visiting places featured in the dramas. Surprisingly, many of these once-grand castles and famous sites blend seamlessly into the neighborhood, leaving me thinking, “Huh? Here?” But thankfully, since I’m imagining the scenes in the actual locations rather than sets, my warlord spirit skyrockets! lol.

Not too long ago, I stumbled upon Hideyoshi’s mother’s birthplace in a residential area. It’s in a place called Gokiso within Nagoya City, and seeing the signboard made me go “Huh!” It’s right in the middle of a normal neighborhood. Finding places like this by accident is part of what makes this area interesting.

Thankfully, when scenes from dramas or movies appear with such vivid realism, those places instantly cease to be just ordinary residential areas or empty lots (castle ruins). Since next year’s Taiga drama also seems set to feature various locations in Aichi Prefecture and the Tokai region, I’m already bubbling over with excitement and imagination about which scenes might appear…

First things first, I’m heading out to catch a glimpse of Taiga Nakano and Shun Oguri, so I really hope the autumn rain front stays calm.
