「葉桜の中の無数の空さわぐ」

愛媛県出身の俳人、篠原梵さんの俳句です。

徒桜というように、本当に桜の花はすぐに散ってしまいますね。

つい先日、満開を迎えたばかりのように感じる桜も、もうすっかり葉桜です。

桜が散ってしまったことを、残念に思う気持ちも少しあります。しかし、青々とした新緑の、木漏れ日の合間から臨む四月の青空はとても美しいですね。葉桜の季語は初夏なのですが、若葉が伸びる様子は、新年度を迎えるこの時期を思い起こさせます。葉桜には葉桜の良さがあると、しみじみ思います。

「葉桜」といえば、若葉が出始めた（ちょうどこの頃ですね）桜の木を指すことがもっぱらですが、

桜の葉っぱのことを、「葉桜」と呼ぶこともありますよね。

塩漬けにした葉桜で具材を包むと、普段とはまた違う豊かな香りを楽しむことが出来ます。（最近では、香りづけにクッキーに葉桜を混ぜることもあるそうです。）

例えば、三月三日のひな祭りの日、ちらし寿司やはまぐりのお吸い物、白酒やひなあられとともに食べる、桜餅。

まさに葉桜の豊かな香りに包まれていますよね。

ひな祭りでは、ちらし寿司やはまぐりのお吸い物、白酒やひなあられなど多くの行事食が見られます。

行事食には、季節の風物詩としての役割もありますが、その他にも一つ一つ意味が込められているそうです。

ちらし寿司には、縁起の良い具材を多く使い、「これから先食べ物に困ることがないように」と願いが込められているそうです。

はまぐりのお吸い物には、ぴったりと合わさるはまぐりの貝殻のように、「素敵な相手と結婚が出来るように」と意味があるそうです。

桜餅に関しては、ひな祭りに食べるはっきりとした理由はないそうですが、春らしいきれいな桜色は、ひな祭りをお祝いする気持ちにとてもぴったりですよね。

桜餅には関東風のものと、関西風のものがあるそうで、主な違いとしては、生地が異なっているそうです。

関東風のものは、小麦粉から作られた生地。

関西風のものは、道明寺粉と呼ばれるもち米からできた生地が用いられているそうです。

しかし、中に餡を入れるところや、桜の葉を巻くところは共通しているそうで、全国、春を楽しもうとする心は同じだったのだなあと思います。

先日、名古屋の三大天神のお話をいたしましたけれども、愛知県外の皆さま、忘れましたよね笑。

復習しますよ、名古屋三大天神。上野天満宮、桜天満宮、山田天満宮です。

名古屋の受験生、結構こちらに合格祈願で訪れます。

本日はその中の一つ、上野天満宮の近くを通ることがあり、寄り道をしてきました。

上野天満宮は、名古屋市千種区ちょうど古美術風光舎名古屋店のあります姫池通をそのまま北上いたしまして、日泰寺を超えた民家の中にあります。直ぐです。

およそ千年前の平安時代中期に陰陽氏安倍晴明の一族がこの地に住んだ折、菅原道真公を慕ってその御神霊をお祭りしたのがこの上野天満宮の起源です。だから、晴明殿が拝されているか。

受験シーズンの頃は、ご祈祷やお参りにお見えになる方がけっこういらしていて、境内にはたくさんの絵馬が掛かっています。みなさん受験頑張りましたね。どのような春をむかえているのでしょうか。今は、落ち着きを取り戻した境内は整然とお掃除がされており、気持ちも引き締まり、寄り道には最高の静けさです。

ちょうどお参りした時にご祈祷がはじまり、これはラッキー。朝の寄り道いいことがありましたね。

ところで、天満宮にお奉りされる菅原道真公が、九州の太宰府にて亡くなられて平成14年には1100年が過ぎました。こころざし半ばにして無実の罪を背負い京都から追いやられた天才学者の無念を償うため、有名な太宰府天満宮は菅原道真公の墓所の上に作られました。その後、100年弱した頃、同様に京都を追われた花山天皇に仕えていた陰陽学者の安倍晴明（920～1005）一族の一部が、名古屋の名古屋市千種区清明山に移り住みました。自らの境遇と照らして菅原道真公の心情を儚く思い、上野天満宮（現在地には、矢田川の氾濫から江戸時代に移動）を建て、菅原道真公を手厚く奉りました。そしてその思いがかない、安倍一族は一部を当地に残して無事に京都に戻ることが出来たそうです。

上野天満宮にはこういう歴史があったのですね。なるほど。

そうそう、上野天満宮には、晴明殿の前に水占いみくじなるおみくじがあります。

まず、社務所で購入した一見何も書かれていないおみくじを購入。それを御清水に浮かべると、あなたへのアドバイスの文字が浮かび上がってきます。私ももう少し若ければ学問の事とか占ったのですが時すでに随分遅し。皆さま、お試しあれ。

About a thousand years ago, when the family of Seimei Abe lived in this area in the middle of the Heian period, the origin of this Ueno Temmangu shrine was to celebrate Sugawara no Michizane. So, is Seimeiden worshiped?

The prayer started just when I visited, and I was lucky. There was a good thing about the morning detour.

By the way, 1100 years have passed since Sugawara no Michizane, who is dedicated to Tenmangu, died in Dazaifu, Kyushu. The famous Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine was built on the graveyard of Sugawara no Michizane to atone for the remorse of a genius scholar who was banished from Kyoto for innocent sins in the middle of his heart. Around 100 years later, a part of the Abe no Seimei (920-1005) family of Yin-Yang scholars who also served Emperor Kazan, who was also displaced from Kyoto, moved to Seimeiyama, Chikusa-ku, Nagoya. In light of his own circumstances, he thought of Sugawara no Michizane’s feelings as ephemeral, and built Ueno Temmangu (to his current location, moved from the flooding of the Yada River to the Edo period) and dedicated Sugawara no Michizane generously. And it seems that the Abe clan was able to return to Kyoto safely, leaving a part of it here.

Ueno Temmangu has such a history. I see.

春、この時期ならではの光景で微笑ましいです。

本日は一昨日ブログのつづきとして、お弁当話し第二弾です。

海外のランチボックスと比べると、日本のお弁当はシンプルなものからご褒美になるような豪華なものまで多種多様、彩りも豊かです。

（各国それぞれの特徴があって、個人的にはそれもまた好きですが）

日本を代表するお弁当、皆さまお馴染み『幕の内弁当』。

その誕生は江戸時代、娯楽の圧倒的人気 ”芝居見物” が始まりとのこと。

当時の芝居は一日かけて演じられ、観客は飲食をしながら観劇しました。

その幕間に提供されたからお弁当だからという説、また幕の内側で役者が食べたことに由来する説、相撲取りの小結が幕の内力士であることから”小さなおむすび”の入っている弁当を幕の内弁当と呼ぶようになった説など、語源は諸説あるようですが…

天保８年起稿『守貞謾稿』によると、笹折に焼握飯１０個と玉子焼き、蒲鉾、煮物などが入っており、大変評判が良かったため次第には芝居に限らず病院見舞いや贈答用にも用いられていったとのこと。

資料によると、「製造販売していた仕出し屋「万久」は、江戸時代末期には高級料亭に発展します。成功の背景には醤油の普及がありました。江戸時代後期、醬油は江戸周辺で大量に生産されるようになりました。醤油で煮〆た煮物の濃い味は、米飯の味を引き立て食欲を増進させます。煮物は一度に大量に作ることができ、醤油の持つ殺菌力で日持ちがします。」

確かにお弁当の味付けはちょっと濃いめで、冷めても美味しく感じられることが重要視されています。

このようないきさつもあって「幕の内弁当」はお弁当ブランド第１号になったというわけですね。

１８６８年、新しい時代・明治が始まると、時代の合言葉は「富国強兵」と「文明開化」。

特に文明開化の象徴は鉄道であったようです。

明治５年、新橋―横浜間が開通し、明治末までにほぼ全国の幹線網が完成したとのことですので、日本人はそれこそお弁当を食べながらよく働いています。

鉄道の旅は便利でしたが長旅だったということで、乗客のためのお弁当…「駅弁」が売り出されていったのです。

明治１８年最初の駅弁は握飯と沢庵を竹皮に包んだものだったようですが、今では地域の味と特徴を活かした駅弁がなんと３５００種類以上もあるそうです。

”地方の料理を移動時に楽しむ”というみんな大好き駅弁は日本独自の文化のひとつでしょう。

（ここ名古屋といえばやはりひつまぶしや天むす、名古屋コーチンやエビフライが入った駅弁が定番人気です。）

岩波書店刊『ビゴー日本素描集』の中には、明治時代日本に暮らしていたフランス人風刺漫画家ジョルジュ・ビゴーの作品で、駅のホームにて折詰弁当とビールと思われる瓶が盆状の箱にのせられ、駅弁販売をする様子が描かれているものがあります。

ドラマや映画で観たことのある光景ですね。

現在ではデパ地下でのお弁当の種類の豊富さ、迷いながらもついつい買ってしまいます。

お弁当専門店も増え、多様な働き方のある現代の需要に重宝しますね。

随分前になりますが、スタッフ I ”キャラ弁”をせがまれたことがあり、数回だけしぶしぶ⁈挑戦しました。

お世辞にも器用とは言えない部類ですので、早朝からどっと疲れた記憶が…（汗）

あんな大変な作業を常々されている世のお父さん、お母さん、尊敬します！

しかし小さな箱に詰められたお弁当ほど、家族の愛情を感じるものもないかもしれません。

聖火リレーが各都道府県に到着と連日ニュースになっていますね。

こんにちは、スタッフY  です。

ここ愛知県もいよいよ聖火リレーが昨日、一昨日と到着いたしました。

愛知県瀬戸市からスタートし、名古屋市や愛知県内の市町村を経由し、豊田市へ。

ランナーの皆さまお疲れ様。本当に良い笑顔をされて走っていましたよね。次の方へとトーチを渡す際に、トーチの受け渡しと共に、みなさまの笑顔も受け渡っていたのが印象的でした。大勢の方がなかなか近くで応援とはいかない中、私も映像を通してですが、応援いたしました。

好奇心がいつも取っ散らかっているのでとりあえず見ておこうと、一昨年日本オリンピックミュージアムにてトーチを見にいってきました。今となっては、悲しいかな随分と遠い記憶です。

ですが、印象は日本の細かな技術、ていねいなものづくりの精神を本当に反映しているトーチです。実に、繊細な作りだなと、素人の私でも分かりました。

デザイナーは「ガラスの茶室」などで知られる吉岡徳仁さんです。

今回のトーチは高さ71センチ、重さ約1.2キロ。上から見るとトーチの上部は桜の花びらのように5つに分かれており、5つの部分から上がった炎が頂点部分でひとつなるというデザイン。まさに、炎をデザインしたとのこと。聖火ランナー1人ずつに配布され（みなさん、いただけるんですね）予備を含めると1万本以上が製造される予定。

吉岡さんは今回のトーチに対して、

炎のかたちをデザインしました。この光り輝くトーチは、桜型の多面体の造形により太陽の光を反射し、聖火ランナーに輝きを与えるようにデザインされています。ランナーは常に動きますから、トーチはそのたびにきらきらと光を放ち、見ている人にも光を与える。そのシーンを思い浮かべながらデザインしました。

デザインのきっかけは、被災地の子どもたちとみんなで、桜のエンブレムを描いたことで、子どもたちが描いた力強い桜の絵のように、被災地の方々が苦悩を乗り越え、立ち上がる姿を世界の人々に伝えたい。その想いでデザインをさせていただきましました。とのこと。

材料もまた東日本大震災の復興仮設住宅にアルミサッシを提供していた企業が、役割を終えた仮設住宅の解体が始まっていたので、そのアルミニウムを使えるかもしれないということで、それは素晴らしいと、再利用。ここにも、吉岡さんのメッセージが込められていますね。

当時制作された頃には、吉岡さんもきっとこの状況を知る由もなかったでしょう。

状況はかわってしまいましたが、気持ちは一緒ですよね。何度でも立ち上がる希望を象徴する炎として、日本の桜の開花と共に、この桜のトーチがそれを手にして走るランナーさんにより、たくさんの方々へむけて、日本全国駆け巡ってほしいものです。

私も、走ろうかなぁ。

My curiosity is messed up, so I went to see the torch at the Japan Olympic Museum two years ago to see it for the time being, but alas, it’s a long memory.

However, the impression is a torch that reflects Japan’s detailed technology and the spirit of careful manufacturing. As an amateur, I realized that it was really delicate.

The designer is Tokujin Yoshioka, who is known for his “Glass Tea Room”.

The torch this time is 71 cm high and weighs about 1.2 kg. When viewed from above, the upper part of the torch is divided into five parts like cherry blossom petals, and the flame that rises from the five parts becomes one at the top. He said he designed the flame. It will be distributed to each torchbearer (everyone can get it), and if you include the spare, more than 10,000 will be manufactured.

I designed the shape of the flame. This brilliant torch is designed to reflect the sun’s rays and give the torchbearer a shine by shaping a cherry-shaped polyhedron. The reason for the design was to draw the cherry blossom emblem together with the children in the disaster area, and to show the people of the world how the people in the disaster area overcome their distress and stand up like the powerful picture of cherry blossoms drawn by the children. お弁当に炊いたご飯が一般となったのは、１７世紀末のこと。

江戸時代の元禄の頃、それまでの朝夕二食から一日三食の食習慣が定着。

昼食としてお弁当が広まっていったそうです。

時間が経ってもご飯が傷まず、冷めてもおいしく食べられるように工夫された弁当箱が、皆さまご存じ「曲げわっぱ」。

檜や杉で作った曲げ物で通気性に優れ、木肌が余分な水分を吸収し、米粒の表面をアミノ酸の膜で包むという優れもの。

茶道を嗜まれる方が大勢いらっしゃいます。

 
そのような皆さまにおかれましては、
『各服点(かくふくだて)』についてのお聞き及びはございましたでしょうか？
（流派によっては違う呼称で同じようなお点前があるのかも知れません。）

いわゆる抹茶には濃茶・薄茶とありますが、

本来、厳粛な雰囲気の中、

その場に居る皆さまで喫み回していただく濃茶こそが

一座での絆を深める大切なものだと聞いております。

しかしながら、現在のこの世相ではその機会を持つことは大変難しいですね。

そんな世相の中でもお濃茶の精神を受け継ぐために

行われているのが『各服点』なのです。

濃茶各服点を考案されたのは、茶道裏千家第13代お家元・圓能斎鉄中（えんのうさいてっちゅう）宗室。

 
約100年前のこと、日本で、そして世界でもスペイン風邪が流行していました。

今日の新型コロナウイルスの流行で危惧されているように、

第一波よりも第二波で多くの尊い命が失われた厳しい時代でした。

そのような中で考案された新しいお点前なのでした。

 
裏千家 第14代宗匠 淡々斎 宗室の著書『風興集』の一節も紹介させていただきますが、成程と思います。

「濃茶は一碗の茶を各自喫み回すことが規定でありまして、すなわち親しみを増す意味で大切なことでありますが、時勢の進化に伴い、衛生思想が著しく発達してまいりまして、すでに宴会の献酬、すなわち盃の交換をするさえ問題にされる時代であります。そんな際に、幾ら厳粛な基調の下に行われるお茶にしても、連客の中には、老人もあれば病人もある、また常に在ってはならぬことでありますが、保健上から見ても、最も危険性の伴う人と同席した場合、いわず語らず気が臆して、同一碗で喫み回すことなどの、躊躇せられることもあります。これらのことに心をつけて、客に嫌忌の念を起こさしめないように謀らうのも、亭主の真情でありました、客に敬意を払った真実な所作でありましょう。 」（淡々斎 千宗室著/淡交社）

（ちなみに現在、茶道裏千家のお家元は第16代坐忘斎玄黙（ざぼうさいげんもく）宗室です。）

新しいことをすると批判されるのが常ですが、

それでも歴代のお家元が新しいお点前を考案されるのは、

やはり茶の湯の精神を守っていくためなのですね。

茶道だけでなく、今の生活全般において変わってしまった沢山のことがあります。

たとえ様式は変わったとしても、その本質を見失わなわずに大切にしていきたいものです。

みなさま、こんにちは。スタッフYです。

先月、実はどうしてもいきたくて、気を付けながら行って参りましたよ、静嘉堂文庫美術館へ。

目的はひとつ。『曜変天目』です。

ここ、静嘉堂文庫美術館は、岩崎弥之助（三菱第二代目社長）らのコレクションを収めた美術館。『陽変天目が落ち着いて見られるのは、ここでしょう。』と、お連れさんが教えてくれ、ほいほいとついて行った次第です。場所は、都内世田谷区、二子玉川駅から少し離れた閑静な住宅街。岩崎彌之助（三菱第二代社長）の別宅ということもあり、静かな美術館の中、贅沢にも本当にゆったりと曜変天目を鑑賞することができたんです。暫く、展示のガラスケースをじーっと張り付いてのぞき込みました。時に、丸の内の三菱一号館美術館でも展示されることもあるようですが、その時はたくさんの人でこのように張り付いて鑑賞などはできないようです。

HPによると、「曜変」とは、元来「窯変」を意味した言葉とされ、文献で「星」または「輝く」を意味する「曜」の字が当てられるようになるのは、15世紀前半頃からである。室町時代の文献『君台観左右帳記』において、「曜変」は、唐物茶碗「土之物」（陶製の茶碗）のうち、もっとも貴重で高価な茶碗として、分類格付けされてきた。福建省建窯の焼成品で、これは偶然の所産と見られている。
静嘉堂文庫美術館所蔵の曜変天目（茶碗）は、もと徳川将軍家所蔵であったものが、三代将軍・家光の時代、春日局を経て、後に淀藩主となる稲葉家へ伝えられたとされる。今日、世界中で現存する曜変天目（完形品）は、日本にある三碗のみ、京都・大徳寺龍光院、大阪・藤田美術館所蔵の各一碗と本碗で、すべてが国宝に指定されている。とのこと。

とにかく簡単に焼けるものではない、と研究者も陶芸家も口を揃える曜変天目。つまり何万個、何十万個に一つ、偶然が重なってできたものだから稀少価値があるのでしょうか。そして、すべてが国宝に指定されて、日本に三碗しかないのがまたファンタジーですよね。

ではなぜ中国で作られたにもかかわらず、中国に曜変天目は存在しない？と、長い間考えられてきたのですが、なんと２００９年、南宋の都があった杭州市内の工事現場から出土したとのこと。これはいったい…。

曜変天目の破片は、全体の70％近くが残り、国宝三碗と同じ斑文や光彩も備えており、学術的な発掘ではなく、工事現場からの出土なので、一定の留保は必要ですが、出土地点は南宋王朝の迎賓館、あるいは皇妃の邸宅に当たる場所のとのこと。さらに宮殿銘を刻した白磁や青磁など、宮廷用磁器の破片が一緒に見つかっていることから、曜変天目が南宋の宮廷文物だったと判明しました。

さらに17年、再び杭州で曜変天目の破片が出土したりと、そちらもやはり曜変天目の特徴を備えるいるようです。ですが、完璧なる曜変天目が日本しか存在しないことから、中国では斑文や光彩を不吉として排除したのではという説もあります。曜変天目が宮廷文物になるほど高い評価を受けていたのであれば、その説は当を失しますね。日本の曜変天目も、かつて南宋宮廷にあったものだったのでしょうか。この謎も陽変天目が皆を引き付けてやまない魅力なんでしょうね。

なんて蘊蓄はさておき、お碗を見つめていると、本当にひきこまれる妖艶な艶やかな小宇宙…。などと私が説明してしまうと、とても台無しになってしまうので、皆さま、機会がありましたら是非一度ご自分の目で鑑賞なさってみて下さい。

My companion told me that I followed him, but the place was a separate house of Yanosuke Iwasaki (the second president of Mitsubishi) in a quiet residential area a little away from the station in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. Because of that, I was able to truly relax and appreciate the positive changes in the quiet museum. For a while, I stared into the glass case of the exhibition. Occasionally, it will be exhibited at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum in Marunouchi, but at that time it seems that it is not possible to appreciate it because it is crowded with people.

According to HP, “Yohen” was originally a word that meant “kiln change,” and in the literature, the word “yo”, which means “star” or “shining,” came to be applied to 15 It is from the first half of the century. In the Muromachi period document “Kimidai Kanryokuki”, “Yohen” has been classified and rated as the most valuable and expensive bowl among the Karamono tea bowls “Tsuchinomono” (pottery bowls). A fired product from a Jian ware in Fujian Province, which is believed to be a coincidence.
It is said that the Yohentenme (tea bowl) in the Seikado Bunko Museum was originally owned by the Tokugawa Shogun family, but was passed on to the Inaba family, who later became the lord of the Yodo domain, through the Kasuga Bureau during the time of the third shogun, Iemitsu. To. Today, the only Yohentenme (completed products) that still exist in the world are the three bowls in Japan, the Ryokoin Temple in Kyoto, and the Fujita Museum in Osaka, all of which are designated as national treasures. .. Yohen Tenmoku, which researchers and potters agree with, says that Yohen Tenmoku is not something that can be easily baked. If Yohentenme had been so highly evaluated that it became a court artifact, that theory would be irrelevant. I wonder if Japan’s Yohentenme was once in the Southern Song Dynasty. This mystery is also a charm that the positive Tenmoku attracts everyone.

実は、こちらは先日から国立新美術館で開催されてます、クリエイティブディレクター佐藤可士和展の様子。こちらの、『新』国立新美術館の『新』です。ご存知の方も、いらっしゃるのでは。

佐藤可士和さんといえば、今治タオルのロゴや、ユニクロやセブンイレブンのロゴマーク、楽天のシンボルマークなど多種多様な方面でご活躍のクリエイティブディレクター。皆さま、ぜったい「あ、あれね！」と、佐藤さんのロゴに触れて生活していると思います。

シンプルなロゴにも、たくさんの決まり事、緻密な計算、などデザイナーさんのお仕事がわかる展覧会ですね。

ところで、新しい環境にむけてお片付けや整理整頓をされた皆さま、お片付け、大変だった方も多いのではないでしょうか。終わられた方もまだ途中の方も、まずはお疲れ様です。

そうそう、今朝の新聞に、こちらの佐藤可士和さんが整理についての記事がありました。テレビでも何度か拝見しましたが、佐藤さんのオフィス、大きな机と椅子しかない本当にすっきりとした環境なんですよね。

『ここは、物を生み出す場なので、余計なものがあると、そっちに影響されてしまいます。まっさらな、キャンバスのようにしておきたいんです。デザインは、整理そのものです。たくさんの問題点の中から課題を抽出し、コンセプトを立て、バラバラだったものに一つの視点を提示する。整理はクリエイティブな営み。デサインそのものなんです。』とのこと。

佐藤さんの、デサインやお仕事へのアプローチの仕方が、整理整頓に結びついているとは。シンプルだけど物事すべてへの、このアプローチの仕方、スタッフＹ理想です。

お片付けや整理整頓についてこんなふうに前向きにとらえると、佐藤さんのオフィスのようになるでしょうか。では、さっそく、試してみます笑。

冬季休業といっても、ほとんどは年末年始を挟んでの
数週間の休館といった感じですよね。

ご紹介する『木村茶道美術館』は
毎年12月～翌年3月まで４ヵ月間も休館するんです！
新潟県柏崎市にあるんです。雪国っぽいですね!?
（名古屋辺りからですと高速道路を利用して車で4～5時間でしょうか。）

けれども休業期間が長いからというわけで、
この美術館を取り上げたわけではないんですよ。

こちらでは、なんと館蔵品の茶道具を実際に使用して、
毎日お茶席を楽しめるのです。
国宝や重文などはないですが、
通常はガラス越しに見るだけの貴重で素晴らしい茶道具を
実際に手に取り使って楽しめるというのは、
唯一この美術館のみ！
わざわざ茨城県や山形県、そして名古屋あたりから通う（←それはスタッフT）

常連さんもいるんですよ！

これは収集者・木村寒香庵翁の
「使ってこそお道具であり、使わなければお道具が死んでしまいます。」との考えから、
開館以来この方式を取入れてきたのです。

美術館によれば＿
ここは「故香庵翁の無私の行為に感激した人達と
翁に教わりお世話になったお弟子さん達の
ボランティア精神により成り立っている組織です。
小なりといえどもキラリと光る施設となり、
お客様に喜んでいただけますよう最大限に努力する事は、
理事長・館長以下全員が翁の心に応えるものと考えております。」
「幾世代にもわたって引き継がれてきた美術品を生かして、
美しいものをより美しく磨き上げながら、
来館者の皆様にひとときの別世界をお楽しみいただけますよう、
いっそう努力したいと念じております。」とのこと。

いよいよ雪国も春です。
4/1より開館いたしました。

Is there a museum around Nagoya that is closed for many months in winter?
Even though it is closed in winter, most of them are closed during the year-end and New Year holidays.
It’s like being closed for a few weeks.

“Kimura Tea Ceremony Museum” in Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture
The museum is closed for 4 months from December to March of the following year!
It looks like a snowy country !?
(Is it 4 to 5 hours by car from around Nagoya using the highway?)

However, because the holiday period is long,
I didn’t cover this museum.

Here, you can actually use the tea utensils from the museum collection,
You can enjoy a tea ceremony every day.
National treasures and important cultural properties are not usually found,
A precious and wonderful tea utensils that you can usually see through the glass
The fact that you can actually pick it up and enjoy it is
Only this museum!
(There are also regulars who come all the way from Ibaraki prefecture, Yamagata prefecture, and around Nagoya!)
