いよいよ桜のシーズンがはじまりました！。今朝も通勤途中の様々な桜を眺めて参りまして、春をしっかり実感しながら通勤して参りました。

 

ここ名古屋、今週末はお天気もまずまずですのでお花見へ行かれる方も多そうですね。ここ覚王山でも今日明日と覚王山祭りを開催して、また、同じく古美術風光舎でも「器と骨董展」を今週末開催しております。お出かけの際は是非お立ち寄りください！。お待ちしております。

 

さてさて、春はお花見でもあるのですが、お片付けをされている方も多く見られます。

 

ありがたいことに、ご実家やご自宅のお片付けのご相談や買取の依頼も多数ございまして、先日も持込での買取依頼のお客様がお見えになりまて、そのお道具から面白いものがでてまいりましたよ。

 

 

 

 

 

 

お道具の入った箱の底に敷物として使っていたのでしょうが、「投資経済」という投資の雑誌のようでした。発行は昭和19年3月11日、定価三十銭（円ではありませんよ）笑。

 

内容はちょっと解読できませんでしたが、敗戦を読んでか軍事関連の品目は「悪目買い」などと評価されていたり、現在も残っている企業のお名前もみつかりましたが、裏表紙からもわかるように全部は読んでおりませんが、かなり強めの言い回しでしたね。

 

それにしても、つい80年前がこんな時代だったのだなんてまずもって驚くのですが、自分たちも渦中にいるのですはず。ここからさらに変化する時代の速さはどんなものだろう…とも逆に思えてきます。

 

古いお道具の中に気づかれぬまま眠っていたもう一つの古い物。80年の時を経て見ず知らずの何者かの手で呼び覚まされたわけですが…、80年の暗闇から陽の光を浴びて時代が変わったことにどんなことを思ったでしょうか。

 

ですが80年後の2024年の春もずっと桜が美しく咲いていることに気づき、「これだけは変わっていないな」なんて、店内の桜を愛でていたのではないでしょうか。

The cherry blossom season has finally started! This morning, I saw a variety of cherry blossoms on my way to work, and I felt spring in the air as I walked to work.

Here in Nagoya, the weather is looking good for this weekend, so it seems that many people will be going to see the cherry blossoms. Kakuozan is also holding the Kakuozan Festival today and tomorrow, and the “Vessels and Antiques Exhibition” will also be held at Fukousha Antique Art House this weekend. Please stop by when you are out and about! We are looking forward to seeing you.

 

Now, spring is also the time for cherry blossom viewing, but we also see many people cleaning out their homes.

Thankfully, we also receive many requests for consultations and purchases for cleaning out their parents’ homes and houses, and the other day, a customer came to us with a request to purchase some tools.

 

It was an investment magazine called “Investment Economy,” which was probably used as a rug at the bottom of the box containing the tools. It was published on March 11, 1944, at a list price of 30 sen (not yen).

 

I could not decipher the contents of the magazine, but I could find the names of some companies that are still in business today.

 

It is amazing to think that just 80 years ago, we were in such an era, but we must have been in the middle of it. It makes me wonder how fast the times have changed since then.

 

Another old object that had lain unnoticed among the old tools, awakened by the hand of a stranger after 80 years…what did you think of the change of the times, coming out of 80 years of darkness into the light of day?

 

But 80 years later, in the spring of 2024, you will find that the cherry blossoms will still be blooming beautifully, and you will probably be admiring the cherry blossoms in the store, thinking that this is one thing that has not changed.
