本日の名古屋、少し風が強くお天気もどんよりしております。

そして今年もやってきました。台風情報。しかもすでに台風2号ということで…今年初台風だと思っていたのにびっくりです。今回の台風は日本列島にさほど影響はないようで、週末はこの時期らしい過ごしやすい陽気となり晴れるそうです。

 

ちなみにせっかくなので台風２号の名前についてお話させていただきますと、今回の台風は「マーワー」。命名国はマレーシアで、マレー語で「バラ」を意味するそうです。かわいらしいのは名前だけで今回の台風でどこも被害が出ないことを祈りたいと思います。

 

さて、本日のブログは先日日帰りで行ってきました「八ヶ岳」について綴っていきたいと思います。

 

 

名古屋から車で約３時間に位置しております。八ヶ岳は何度か訪れたことがありますが、今回は久しぶりで約５～６年ぶりでしょうか。スタッフＹが言う通り、新緑が本当に美しかったです。

 

今回の日帰り旅は「八ヶ岳倶楽部」、そして「リゾナーレ八ヶ岳」に行ってきました。

２部に分けて綴りたいと思いますのでまずは「八ヶ岳倶楽部」について。

 

ご存じない方もいらっしゃると思いますので少し説明させていただきますと、１９８９年７月、山梨県北杜市大泉町の八ヶ岳連峰の南麓にオープンいたしました。

標高１３６０ｍの山の中に位置し、八ヶ岳の豊かな生態系の中で育まれてきたこちらの土地は以前、広大な広葉樹林の森でしたが昭和２０年１週間にも及ぶ山火事が発生し消失。

その後、先人たちが針葉樹林を植えて何とか森を再生したという歴史があるそうです。

その土地に創業者である柳生博が家族や友人、スタッフと共に、以前の広葉樹林を取り戻そうと決意し、鬱蒼とした木々の枝を切り、本来こちらの土地に生えている木々を移植し、枕木の道を作って間伐や剪定、下草刈りなどの手入れをし続け、３０年以上かけて森づくりを続けてきたそうです。

 

実際に訪れてみるとわかりますが、野鳥の美しい鳴き声や優しい木漏れ陽が降り注ぐ癒しの空間でした。

Today in Nagoya, the weather is a little windy and dull.

And it’s come again this year. Typhoon information. What’s more, it’s already Typhoon No. 2, so I was surprised because I thought it was the first typhoon of the year. The typhoon this time doesn’t seem to have much of an impact on the Japanese archipelago, and it seems that the weekend will be sunny and sunny, which is typical of this time of year.

 

 

By the way, I would like to take this opportunity to talk about the name of Typhoon No.2. The country of naming is Malaysia, and it seems that it means “rose” in Malay. The cute thing is just the name, and I hope that this typhoon won’t cause any damage anywhere.

 

Well, today’s blog would like to write about “Yatsugatake”, which I went to on a day trip the other day.

It takes about 3 hours by car from Nagoya. I’ve been to Yatsugatake several times, but this time it’s been a long time and it’s been about 5-6 years. As Staff Y said, the fresh green was really beautiful.

 

 

This day trip I went to “Yatsugatake Club” and “RISONARE Yatsugatake”.

I would like to divide it into two parts, so first I would like to talk about “Yatsugatake Club”.

 

Some of you may not know this, so let me explain a bit. In July 1989, we opened at the southern foot of the Yatsugatake mountain range in Oizumi-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture.

Located in a mountain with an altitude of 1360m, this land, nurtured in the rich ecosystem of Mt. and disappeared.

After that, it seems that there is a history that our predecessors managed to regenerate the forest by planting coniferous forests.

Founder Hiroshi Yagyu, along with his family, friends and staff, decided to restore the former broad-leaved forest on that land. It seems that they have continued to create forests for more than 30 years by making roads, thinning, pruning, and cutting undergrowth.

 

 

As you can see when you actually visit, it was a healing space where the beautiful chirping of wild birds and the gentle sunlight filtering through the foliage poured down.
