最近のスタッフMのブログが、Mの人柄がとても出ていて面白くて笑ってしまいます。

 

出勤時に他スタッフのブログを読むのが楽しみの一つになりつつあります。

 

今日は暖かくなってきたからか、久しぶりに野良猫を２匹見かけました。

 

１匹は人懐こく近所の人気者なのか、おばあちゃんの井戸端会議に参加して

「あらあら、あんた、また来たの？」

と言われ「にゃー！」と可愛く甘えておりました。

 

よそ者だからか、私のことはスルーされたのが少し悲しいです。

 

 

 

さて、今日は縁結びの日だそうです。

 

昔はお見合い、紹介、合コンなどが主流でしたが、今は街コン、マッチングアプリなどが主流のようですね。

 

Nは学生時代に街コンの受付をしていたことがあります。

 

自分の恋愛よりも、人の相談を受けたり応援して、恋愛を見届けている方が楽しいですね。

 

自分が紹介して付き合ったり、何かの縁を結ぶことができた時、喜びを感じます。

 

残念ながら、その２人は４年後に別れてしまいましたが、いつも幸せそうな話を聞くのが楽しみでした。

 

恋愛経験がそんなにあるわけでもないのに、結婚相談所で働こうかと思ったこともあります。

 

知り合いの結婚相談所の方のお話を聞いていると、皆さま好きかって言うので大変そうですが、カップルができた時のなんとも言えない嬉しさがたまらないそうです。

 

最近は晩婚化などとも言われておりますが、４０歳までに結婚したいという方が増えてきているのだとか。

 

５０歳から卒婚という言葉もあるみたいで、結婚という形式にこだわらなくなってきたのかもしれません。

 

LGBTQ、モノガミー、ポリアモリー、ポリガミー、アセクシャル、様々な多様性が理解されるようになってきた今、自分の本当の幸せは何か考えなければなりません。

 

これらのことがらについてNは肯定も否定もしておりません。

 

ただ、「考える」「知ろうとする」ことは何においても大切だと思います。

 

自由であることは不自由だなあと、なんとなく哲学的なことを考える今日この頃でございました。

 

縁結びの日は、島根県の神話の国・縁結び観光協会が制定致しました。

 

現在の暦で11月に相当する旧暦10月が「神無月」（島根県では「神在月」）と呼ばれ、全国から出雲の地（島根県）に神々が集まる日とされていることから、人々の良いご縁が結ばれることを願って定められております。

 

日付は、「いい（11）ご（5）えん」という語呂合わせにちなんで11月5日となりました。

 

出雲大社は「縁結びの神様」として、また「因幡のしろうさぎ神話」で有名な、大国主大神（おおくにぬしのおおかみ）をお祀りしております。

 

大国主大神は、幾多の困難を越えて国土を開拓された国造りの神様であり、さらにその国土を天照大御神（あまてらすおおみかみ）に譲った国譲り神話でも知られています。

 

色々なご縁を授かりたいと思って、縁結びの神様の出雲大社に来るなら、神在月の神在祭の期間中に来るのがベストだそうです。

 

神在祭の期間は、全国から八百万の神様がお集まりになっていらっしゃるし、全国の神社ともつながっている期間だそうです。

 

愛知に縁結びのご利益がある場所があるのか調べてみましたら、

 

古美術風光舎近くの「城山八幡宮」が出てきました。

 

御神木の下で出会った男女が数多く結婚したと言い伝えられているそうです。

織田家ゆかりの「末森城」跡地に鎮座する、名古屋有数の縁結び神社で、御神木が恋愛運向上のパワースポットとして信仰を集めていて、女性を中心に多くの参拝客が訪れているそうです。

 

御利益を授かった後は、「御神木の神占（かみうら）」で吉兆を占い。

 

祈りを込めながら、女性は右側から、男性は左側から御神木の周囲を回り、直感で立ち止まった場所にあるしめ縄の紙をめくるそうです。

 

吉兆の印があるのはひと垂れのみで、結果は決して口に出してはいけないそうです。

 

お次は、JR東海道本線「名鉄一宮駅」から徒歩約8分にございます「真清田（ますみだ）神社」。

 

平安時代から人々に信仰されているという歴史ある神社で、境内には、縁結びの神様「服織（はとり）神社」がご鎮座しております。

 

「服織神社」に祀られている「棚機姫神（たなばたひめのかみ）」は七夕伝説の織姫様であると言われ、縁結びの神様として信仰されております。

 

１１月３日には、大河ドラマ「鎌倉殿の13人」で北条義時役を務める小栗旬さんと、息子・泰時役の坂口健太郎さんが一宮のトークイベントに出演いたしました。

 

承久の乱は鎌倉幕府を開いた源頼朝ら源氏将軍3代が没した後、朝廷の権威を回復しようとした後鳥羽上皇が幕府の第2代執権だった義時を討つために挙兵した内乱。

 

鎌倉幕府の正史「吾妻鏡（あずまかがみ）」には、幕府軍が尾張国一宮・真清田神社（一宮市）の周辺に陣地を置き、軍議を開いたとの記述があり、泰時が参加していたとされます。

 

2人は2日には真清田神社を訪れていたそうです。

 

承久の乱では、両軍が愛知、岐阜両県の間を流れる木曽川を挟んで戦い、幕府軍が圧勝致しました。

 

朝廷は権威を失い、北条氏が主導権を握る執権政治が本格化しました。

 

2日に愛知県江南市の複合タワー「すいとぴあ江南」に上り、承久の乱の戦場となった木曽川を坂口さん眺めたそうです。

 

小栗旬と坂口健太郎が来た神社となれば、それだけでご利益がありそうですよね。

 

本殿右手にある「服織神社」。糸を織るということから、人と人のご縁を結ぶ御利益があると言われているそうです。

 

こちらには「運命之紅糸（うんめいのあかいいと）」という素敵な名前の、2本の赤い紐がついた短冊形の縁結びのお守りがあるそうです。

 

名前からして強力な御利益がありそうですが、1本は服織神社に結び、もう1本は身に着けると縁が結ばれるそうです。

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

 

立冬間近の空が澄んで、気持ちの良い秋晴れ。天気予報を見ておりますと、当分は過ごしやすい晴れの日が続くそうです。

 

この間、覚王山にあります「揚輝荘」をお散歩しつつ、ベンチに座って空を眺めていたら賑やかなお話声が聞こえて見てみると、たくさんの小さい子供たちと美しく着飾った和装姿の男女、そしてカメラマン。

ウェディングフォトの撮影をされているようで、おそらくですが新郎は外国の方で、語学教師だと思われますが、その生徒の子供たちとみんなで写真を撮っていました。たくさんの笑い声と嬉しそうな表情でその空間は幸せで溢れておりました。

 

そんな様子をニコニコしながら眺めておりましたら、いつのまにかカメラマンが私の近くで私が座っていた場所で次の撮影をしたいような表情で見てきていたのです…（笑）

その視線に気づき急いで荷物をまとめてその場を移動したのですが、そんな幸せの瞬間を見ることができて少し私自身も幸せになったのでした。

 

 

さて、当店のニューフェイス…「麒麟」です。

麒麟です。というフレーズどこかで聞いたことがあるという方、違いますよ。

今回は本当の「麒麟」です。

 

本当の麒麟といっても、首の長いキリンではなく中国古代の神話の中の動物です。

一番よく知られている身近な麒麟といえば、キリンビールの麒麟ですね。

こちらの麒麟、中国では虫も殺せないほど心優しく、子供を授けてくれる霊獣として知られています。他にも温和で長生きで二千年の長寿を保ち、現れる所すべての人々を幸せにするというありがたい存在でもあるのです。

 

麒麟の見た目は、首の長いキリンとは違い、獅子の頭、鹿の角、虎の目、鹿の体、龍のうろこ、牛のしっぽを持ち合わせています。また火を吐き、雷のような大きくて力強く響き渡るような声音だとか…

少し恐ろしくもありますが、強面の方が実は優しかったり、そんな感じでしょうか。

 

そんな麒麟は「子受けの神様」としても知られていて、「麒麟送子」という言葉は正確には、子供ではなく優秀な男児を授けてくれるという意味だそうです。中国戦国時代の儒学者・孟子（もうし）の言葉に「不孝有三、無後為大」（親不孝に三つあり、そのうち最大のものは跡継ぎがいないこと）という伝えがあり、この思想は薄れつつあるとはいえ、現代中国にもまだ根強く生きているそうです。

 

またもうひとつの言われとして、麒麟は才徳兼備の象徴でもあるとされていて、才能と徳の両方を兼ね備えた際立って優れた人物の象徴として、日本語で「神童」と言われますが、中国では「麒麟児」と言われます。

 

そして最後に、風水のアイテムとしても代表的な麒麟。風水において、麒麟は太平のシンボルであらゆる禍事を消し、周りの気を安定させてくれるパワーを持つようです。玄関やリビングに置くと平和な生活をもたらしてくれるそうなので、当店の麒麟も外向きの目立つ場所に置いておきたいと思います。

The real giraffe is not a giraffe with a long neck, but an animal in ancient Chinese mythology. The most well-known and familiar Kirin is Kirin Brewery’s Kirin. This giraffe is known in China as a kind-hearted beast that can give birth to children, so kind that even insects can’t be killed. In addition, they are gentle, long-lived, and have a long life of 2,000 years, and are blessed with the ability to bring happiness to all people wherever they appear.

Kirin has a lion’s head, deer horns, tiger’s eyes, deer’s body, dragon’s scales, and cow’s tail. Another fire-breathing voice that sounds loud and powerful like thunder… It’s a little scary, but it’s like the tough face is actually kinder.

 

Such a Kirin is also known as the “god of receiving children”, and the word “Kirin Sending Child” actually means that she will bestow a good boy, not a child. Mencius, a Confucian scholar during the Warring States period in China, said, ‘There are three types of unfilial piety, and the greatest of them is that there are no heirs.’ Although it is growing, it seems that it is still deeply rooted in modern China.

 

Another saying is that the Kirin is also said to be a symbol of both talent and virtue, and as a symbol of an outstanding person who has both talent and virtue, it is said to be “Kindo” in Japanese. In China, it is called “Kirinji”.

 

And finally, the giraffe is a typical feng shui item. In Feng Shui, the Kirin is a symbol of peace and seems to have the power to erase all misfortunes and stabilize the mind around you. It is said that if you put it in the entrance or living room, it will bring you a peaceful life, so I would like to put our Kirin in a conspicuous place facing outwards.

＃中国美術＃麒麟＃獅子＃骨董品

お店の近くにアイスクリーム屋さんができたそうで、連日人気だそうです。

 

秋にも関わらず、寒空の下でおいしそうに食べている方々を見て私も興味が湧いてきました。

 

今日の帰りにでもチャレンジしてみようと思います。

 

 

 

 

さて、今日は文化の日でございます。

 

文化の日は、日本の国民の祝日の一つで、1946年11月3日の日本国憲法公布を記念して制定されました。

 

文化の日は、国民の祝日に関する法律（祝日法、昭和23年7月20日法律第178号）第2条によれば、「自由と平和を愛し、文化をすすめる」ことを趣旨としております。

 

1946年（昭和21年）に日本国憲法が公布された日であり、日本国憲法が平和と文化を重視していることから、1948年（昭和23年）に公布・施行された祝日法で「文化の日」と定められました。

 

日本国憲法は、公布から半年後の1947年（昭和22年）5月3日に施行されたため、5月3日も憲法記念日として国民の祝日となっております。

 

休日としては、1873年（明治6年）に公布された年中祭日祝日の休暇日を定む（明治6年太政官布告第344号）以降1911年（明治44年）までは天長節、1927年（昭和2年）に改正された休日に関する件（昭和2年3月4日勅令第25号）以降1947年（昭和22年）までは明治節として、明治天皇の誕生日による祝日となっております。

 

祝日法制定当時、参議院文化委員長として祝日法制定の際中心的役割を担った山本勇造が政界引退後に書いた当時の回顧録「文化の日ができるまで」には明治節に関する記述は一切ありません。

 

山本によれば、元々、憲法発布は11月1日の予定でしたが、施行日がメーデーと重なるという理由で直前に11月3日に変更されたそうです。

 

山本ら参議院側は11月3日を憲法記念日とすることを強硬に主張しましたが、GHQ側が、11月3日だけは絶対にだめだと主張し、衆議院が5月3日を憲法記念日とすることに同意してしまい、参議院側が孤立する事態になりました。

 

そのとき突然GHQ側から、憲法記念日という名でない記念日とするなら何という名がいいか、という話を持ち出してきたそうです。

 

1948年（昭和23年）6月18日の参議院文化委員会において、山本勇三は「憲法において、如何なる國もまだやつたことのない戰爭放棄ということを宣言した重大な日でありまして、日本としては、この日は忘れ難い日なので、是非ともこの日は残したい。そうして戰爭放棄をしたということは、全く軍國主義でなくなり、又本当に平和を愛する建前から、あの宣言をしておるのでありますから、この日をそういう意味で、『自由と平和を愛し、文化をすすめる。』、そういう『文化の日』ということに我々は決めたわけなのです」と説明しております。

 

また、同年7月4日の参議院本会議においては「十一月の三日を文化の日といたしましたのは、これは明治天皇がお生まれになった日であり、明治節の祝われた日でございますが、立法の精神から申しますと、この日は御承知のように、新憲法が公布された日でございます。そうしてこの新憲法において、世界の如何なる國も、未だ曾て言われなかつたところの戰争放棄という重大な宣言をいたしております。これは日本國民にとつて忘れ難い日でありますと共に、國際的にも文化的意義を持つ重要な日でございます。そこで平和を図り、文化を進める意味で、この日を文化の日と名ずけたのでございます。平和の日といたしましてもよいのでありますが、それは別に講和締結の日を予定しておるのでございますので、それを避けたのでございます」と説明しており、明治節だからではなく、新憲法、特に戦争放棄を謳った第9条が公布された日であるから祝日としたという説明がなされております。

 

また、憲法公布日が11月3日になったことについては、入江俊郎によれば、施行の候補日として挙がっていた5月1日、5月3日、5月5日のうち、5月1日はメーデーであるためふさわしくないと判断され、5月5日は端午の節句であり、男の子の祭りであるから男女平等の憲法にふさわしくないこと、また武の祭りであるから戦争放棄の憲法にふさわしくないと判断されたため、消去法で5月3日に公布することになり、その半年前である11月3日に公布することが決まったとされており、明治節に合わせて公布日を決めたのではないということだそうです。

この日は、皇居で文化勲章の親授式、海上自衛隊で、基地・一般港湾等に停泊している自衛艦において、満艦飾、文化の日を中心に、文化庁主催による芸術祭、博物館や美術館の中には、入館料を無料にしたり、様々な催し物を開催、日本武道館で全日本剣道選手権大会が開催され、NHK総合テレビジョンで生放送されたりするそうです。

 

また、この日は晴天になる確率が高い「晴れの特異日」とされております。

 

1948年7月20日に施行された国民の祝日に関する法律により、11月3日は明治節ではなくなり、「文化の日」となりました。

しかし近年、明治天皇の誕生日へと由来を戻し「明治の日」への改称を目指す動きがあるそうです。

 

2011年10月1日、「明治の日推進協議会」が結成され、集会のチラシがただち全国会議員へ配布されました。

 

初代会長には元民社党衆議院議員の塚本三郎が就任いたしました。

 

2016年11月1日、明治の日推進協議会は国会内で集会を開き、祝日法改正を目指すための超党派の議員連盟設立を与野党議員に要請しました。

 

集会には自民党の稲田朋美、古屋圭司、民進党（当時）の鷲尾英一郎、無所属の野間健ら国会議員13人が出席致しました。

 

自民党議員は古屋を会長とする「明治の日を実現するための議員連盟」を設立致しました。

 

明治の日推進協議会会長の塚本は2020年5月20日に死去致しました。

 

後任には日本会議会長の田久保忠衛が就きました。

 

副会長は日本会議元副会長の小田村四郎。

ハロウィンも終わり、１１月に入り世の中は少しずつクリスマス仕様に。

１年のイベントの中でクリスマスが一番好きという方も多いと思います。私もその一人です！

 

名古屋駅で見られる大きなクリスマスツリーや、栄のイルミネーション。栄・三越のクリスマス仕様に変わったショーウィンドウは思わず立ち止まって見てしまうほど…。

 

ちなみに今年一番はじめにホリデーを感じた瞬間がスターバックスのドリンクカップでした。

毎年１１月１日から世界中のスターバックスでホリデー仕様の通称”Red Cup”でドリンクが提供され、スターバックス大好きスタッフMは年末の風物詩と感じてしまうほど、毎年楽しみにしているのです。

そして”Red Cup”は数種類のデザインがあり、訪れるたびに違う楽しみを味わうことができるという点も嬉しく思っております。

 

年ごとに趣向を凝らしたデザインがあしらわれていて、ただの赤いカップではなく、それぞれのデザインに込められたストーリーがあるというのもおもしろいですよね。

 

 

ちなみにホリデーシーズンといえば…

昨日のブログでスタッフＮが”紅茶派”と言っていましたが、私は断然”コーヒー派”です。１日に１回必ずコーヒーを飲まないと気が済まないほど…。

そんな私も小さい頃から好きというわけではなく、コーヒーデビューはわりと遅めの社会人からでした。それまではコーヒーが苦手でして。

 

学生時代とあるカフェでバイトをしていたとき、シフトに入る前に必ず本日のコーヒーがどんな味なのか、お客様にどのように伝えたらより魅力的に味を伝えることができるか、などを考えながら試飲をしなければいけなかったのです。

今考えたら、こんなにおいしいコーヒーを当時は少し苦手だったので半ば引き気味で試飲していたことがもったいなくてしょうがないです。

 

少し話が逸れてしまいましたが、スターバックスのホリデーシーズンといえば、コーヒー好きの私ですが、コーヒーではなく別のドリンクを毎回頼んでしまうほど…大好きなメニューがあります。

 

 

「ジンジャーブレッドラテ」

公式の説明を引用させていただきますと、「ジンジャーブレッドクッキーをイメージした、スパイシーなラテ」とありまして、チャイなどスパイス系がお好きな方は絶対好きな味だと思います。

私、ラテがあまり好きではなく、もともと牛乳が苦手ですので、いつもソイミルクに変更するのですが、これまたマイルドで優しい味わいになってとっても美味しいです。

あと、おすすめは上にトッピングされているナツメグパウダーを多めにするのが好きですね。（笑）

 

スターバックスのドリンクについてかなり語ってしまい、私の頭の中はもう「ジンジャーブレッドラテ」でいっぱいになってしまったので、帰りは覚王山のスターバックスでも寄ってまた飲みたいと思います。

本日１１月１日は紅茶の日だそうです。

 

コーヒーよりも断然紅茶派のNですが、小さい頃は毎日飲んでおりました。

 

紅茶の日は、日本紅茶協会が1983(昭和58)年に制定致しました。

 

1791(寛政3)年のこの日、暴風雨のためロシアに漂着した大黒屋光太夫が、ロシアの当時の首都ペテルブルク(現在のサンクトペテルブルク)で女帝エカテリーナの茶会に招かれ、日本人としては初めて紅茶を飲みました。

 

紅茶が日本に初めて輸入されたのは1880年代でしたが、日本には緑茶があるため、すぐには定着しなませんでした。1952(昭和37)年、大阪に日本で初めての紅茶専門店「MUSICA」が開店し、東京都内には1974(昭和49)年に初めて紅茶専門店ができました。

＃紅茶の日＃骨董＃古美術風光舎＃掛軸

皆さま、こんにちは、スタッフMです。

 

ハロウィンシーズンの午前中、お散歩していましたらプリンセスの仮装をした小さな女の子たちや、頭にかぼちゃのカチューシャをつけたワンちゃん、ジャック・オー・ランタンが飾られたおうち…町中が賑やかな雰囲気で朝から微笑ましい光景をたくさん見ることができました。

 

ハロウィンの思い出といえば・・・学生時代ハロウィン当日が英会話のテストの日で、先生とマンツーマンで英語で会話をするというテストだったのですが、一通り会話が終わった後先生が最後に何か言うことはないか？と聞いてきたのです。

当時の私はもうあの言葉しかないと思い「Trick or Treat」と伝えたら、「ありがとうございましたでしょ」と言われてしまい、恥ずかしい気持ちになったことを覚えています。

 

ちなみに実は授業後にその先生とお会いしたときに、小さいアメとチョコレートをいただいて「さっきはテスト中だったからごめんね！」と言われたことが、とっても嬉しくて今思い出しても心温まる思い出だなと感じます。

 

ハロウィンというと、思い思いの仮装をして街を練り歩くイメージがあるのですが、本来のハロウィンとは調べてみたくなったので皆さまにも少し共有いたしますね。

 

ハロウィンとは、キリスト教の聖なる日のひとつで、１０月３１日の夜にあの世に行った者たちは家に帰ってくることができたという言い伝えがあるのですが、その中には悪霊たちも交じっていたとか。

悪霊たちは作物に悪い影響を与えたり、子供をさらったり、現世の人間に悪いことをすると言われたため、人々は身を守るため仮面や仮装をして仲間に見せかけたり、魔除けの焚火を行ったりしていたと言われているそうです。

 

 

そしてよく玄関などに飾られているジャック・オー・ランタン。これは良い精霊を呼び寄せ、悪霊を追い払うものと言い伝えられています。由来は諸説あるものの、その一つが「ジャック」という名前の男の物語です。

内容は「悪行三昧の人生を送ったジャックは悪魔をだまして死んでも地獄に落ちない契約を結んだが、行いの悪さから天国行きも拒否されてしまった結果、カブをくり抜いて明かりをともしながら安住の地を求めてさまよっている」というもの。

 

この話からもわかりますが、実はもともとかぼちゃではなくカブをくり抜いていたのですね…

そもそもハロウィンは古代ケルトのドゥルイド教で行われていたサウィン祭が起源といわれていて、ケルト人が自然崇拝からキリスト教へと移る過程でカブ→かぼちゃになったということだそうです。

 

そしてあの言葉「Trick or Treat（お菓子をくれなきゃ、いたずらするぞ）」、これにも大きな意味があり、悪霊が家の中に迷い込まないよう、お菓子をを渡すことによって帰ってもらうという魔除けの意味が込められています。日本の節分に少し似ていますよね！

 

ちなみに、ハロウィンの由来などを調べていましたら江戸時代から実はハロウィンは存在していた？！という記事を見つけました。巻物などにタコや魚、大根に化けた人が楽しそうに走り回っている様子が描かれていて賑やかさが伝わってくるものでした。

 

そんな昔から日本人も仮装して楽しんでいたのかと思うと、やはり人間変わらないものなのだとつくづく感じます。

空腹でサウナに行ってしまったため、体調を崩したNでございます、皆さまもお気を付けくださいませ。

 

先日、愛知県西尾市にございます、三河工芸ガラス美術館へ行って参りました。

 

Nは抹茶が大好きなので、抹茶目当てに西尾に行ったのですが、まさかのはずれを引いてしまいました。

 

Instagramで人気の抹茶のスイーツを食べに行ったのですが、なんと味がしないのです。

 

周りを見ても若い子ばかりでなんだか顔が暗い。。。

 

たまにあるのですが、インスタ映えを狙ったばかりに見た目は可愛いのに美味しくないスイーツがあるのです。

 

はずれを引かないためにも、口コミなどを見るのは大切ですね。

 

見た目に騙されて、後悔しないようにしたいです。

 

最初に行った老舗のお店はとても美味しかったです。

 

お客様も地元の年配の方ばかりでしたので、きっと好きで通い詰めているリピーターの方々なのでしょう。

 

 

さて、暇つぶしに行った三河工芸ガラス美術館ですが、入り口から行列ができておりました。

 

そんな人気だとは露知らず、並びました。

 

皆さまのお目当ては巨大万華鏡。

 

 

万華鏡と言えば、お土産屋などにある和紙の丸いものが思い浮かびます。

 

Nも小さい頃夢中になって中をのぞいて回しておりました。

 

 

その、万華鏡の中に自分が入れるという、なんともロマンチックな場所でございます。

 

この巨大万華鏡「スフィア」と言うそうで、大きさは、長さ7.3m、幅3.1m、高さ2.55m。 2002年版のギネスブックにも載った当時世界最大の万華鏡だそうです。

 

トンネル型の空間に足を踏み入れると万華鏡が動きだし、一気に別世界へトリップ致します。

 

こちらの美術館は市営ではなく、個人経営されている美術館なので、1時間程度有れば館内１周できると思います。

 

巨大万華鏡には１組ずつ入るのですが、外側にテレビがあり、中の様子がわかるので、人がいなくなったら次の組が入る仕組みになっております。

 

色々なポーズをとっているのがばれるので少し恥ずかしい気も致しますが、映え写真のために皆必死です。

 

万華鏡（まんげきょう）は、1816年にスコットランドで 物理学者のディヴィッド・ブリュースターが１８１６年に発明致しました。

 

灯台の光をより遠くまで届かせるために鏡の組み合わせを工夫している最中に発見したそうです。

 

日本でいうと江戸時代で、英語ではカレイドスコープと呼ばれており、「美しい模様を見る」という意味のギリシャ語がもとになった言葉だそうです。

 

かつては 万華鏡 （ ばんかきょう ） 、 百色眼鏡 （ ひゃくいろめがね ） 、 錦眼鏡 （ にしきめがね ） とも呼ばれました。

 

 

きれいに見える万華鏡作りのポイントは、鏡と鏡の間の角度が30度になっていることで、できるだけ30度にちかくなるようにし、ミラー同士、ミラーと無反射紙の間に隙間ができないようにすることも大事だそうです。

 

セロテープを引っ張って接着すると、鏡がゆがむので、無理に引っ張らないようにするのがコツです。

 

一般的な万華鏡の筒の長さは約１５ｃｍで、これは人間の目の焦点距離に合わせてあります。

 

筒の長さが短いものもあり、そのままだと映像がぼやけてしまいますが、のぞき穴に凸レンズが入っているためちゃんと見ることが出来るのです。

Occasionally, there are sweets that look cute but are not delicious because they are aimed at Instagrammable.

 

It’s important to look at reviews to avoid being disappointed.

 

I don’t want to be deceived by looks and regret it.

 

The first long-established store I went to was very delicious.

 

The customers were all local elderly people, so I’m sure they are repeaters who like it and go there.

 

By the way, I went to the Mikawa Glass Art Museum to kill time, but there was a line at the entrance.

 

I didn’t know it was so popular, so I lined up.

 

Everyone is looking for a giant kaleidoscope.

 

When you think of kaleidoscopes, the round Japanese paper you see in souvenir shops comes to mind.

 

When N was little, he was obsessed with looking inside.

 

 

 

It’s a very romantic place where you can put yourself in the kaleidoscope.

 

This gigantic kaleidoscope “Sphere” is 7.3m long, 3.1m wide and 2.55m high. It was listed in the Guinness Book of Records in 2002 as the world’s largest kaleidoscope.
