もうすぐクリスマスでございますね。

 

クリスマスプレゼントのご用意はお済みでしょうか？

 

この時期にデパートに行きますと、彼女のクリスマスプレゼントを選んでいるであろう若い男の子たちがたくさんおります。

 

NもZOZOTOWNを毎日眺めてお気に入り登録するだけの日々をすごしております。

 

クリスマスコフレもたくさんあってワクワク致しますね。

 

キールズのアドベントカレンダーを買おうかずっと悩んでいたのですが、決心したときには既に売り切れでございました。

 

行きつけのレストランも、１２月２４日２５日は案の定満席でしたので、日付をずらしてお邪魔したいと思います。

 

スタッフMがクリスマスツリーのお話をしておりましたが、Nの家にも昔大きなクリスマスツリーがありました。

 

子供のころの記憶なので、今思えばそんなに大きくなかったかもしれませんが、子供のころはとても大きく見えました。

 

そういえばあのツリーどこに行ったのでしょうか？もしかしたら、猫にやられてしまったのかもしれません。

先日、岐阜で個人的にイルミネーションを庭でやっているおじいさんがテレビで特集されておりました。

 

時間になると皆並んで、庭を歩いたり写真を撮ったりして楽しそうでした。

 

入場料を取っているわけでもなく、おじいさんが喜んでもらうために趣味で行っているそうで、機会があれば行ってみたいです。

 

背丈ほどあるキャラクターのオブジェなどなかなかのイルミネーションでございました。

ちなみに今日は針供養の日だそうです。

裁縫を休んで、折れた針を集めて社寺に納めたり、豆腐等の柔らかいものに刺したりして供養をする日だそうです。

全国的には2月8日ですが、関西地方では12月8日に行われるんだとか。

 

Nも裁縫ができたらいいのですが、まだ出来ません。

 

昔の知り合いに刺繍が趣味で飼い猫の顔を縫っている方がおりまして、羨ましく思ったのを思い出しました。

 

小さい頃はマフラーを編んだり、色々なことに挑戦しておりましたが、中々言い訳をしてやらずにいるのでダメですね。

さて、先日刈谷市美術館のコレクション展 Memories ～時代が蘇る追憶のポスターに行って参りました。

2022年11月12日(土曜日)～2023年1月15日(日曜日)特別展示室、1階ロビーで入場無料で開催しております。

 

文化や社会を彩った1960年代以降の日本のポスターを展示しております。

演劇、音楽、映画、美術、広告、出版、デザイン、平和活動など多様なジャンルに加え、2021年度収集した東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピック公式アートポスターも併せて展示し、様々なアーティストたちの表現とともに、あの日の記憶を振り返ります。

 

昔の少しグロテスクだったりエロティシズムだったりするレトロなポスター、数は数点でしたが、面白かったです。

 

 

それよりも私は、市民ギャラリーの作品展に目を奪われてしまいました。

 

何かわからないようなオブジェだったり、書から甲冑まで幅広い作品がございました。

 

故人でどのようにここまで作ったのか、どれだけの時間と費用がかかったのか気になるところでございますね。

There are a lot of Christmas coffrets, so I’m excited.

 

I had been debating whether to buy a Kiehl’s advent calendar for a long time, but when I made up my mind, it was already sold out.

 

As expected, my favorite restaurant was fully booked on December 24th and 25th, so I would like to visit on a different date.

 

Staff M was talking about the Christmas tree, but N’s house used to have a big Christmas tree.

 

It’s a memory of my childhood, so it may not have been that big when I think about it now, but it looked very big when I was a child.

 

By the way, where did that tree go? Maybe you got hit by a cat.

The other day, an old man in Gifu who was personally doing illumination in his garden was featured on TV.

 

When the time came, everyone lined up, walking in the garden and taking pictures, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves.

 

They don’t charge an admission fee, but they go there as a hobby to make the old man happy, so if I have the chance, I’d like to go.

 

It was quite an illumination, such as objects of tall characters.

By the way, it seems that today is the day of the needle memorial service.

It is said that it is a day when people take a break from sewing, collect broken needles and put them in shrines and temples, or pierce soft things such as tofu to hold a memorial service.

It is held on February 8th nationwide, but in the Kansai region it is held on December 8th.

 

I wish N could sew too, but he can’t yet.

 

I remember being envious of an old acquaintance who had a hobby of embroidery and sewed the faces of his cats.

 

When I was little, I tried various things, such as knitting scarves, but I don’t do it because I don’t make excuses.

Well, the other day I went to the collection exhibition Memories at the Kariya City Museum of Art.

From November 12, 2022 (Saturday) to January 15, 2023 (Sunday), admission is free in the special exhibition room and the lobby on the first floor.

 

We are exhibiting Japanese posters from the 1960s onward that colored culture and society.

In addition to various genres such as theater, music, film, art, advertising, publishing, design, and peace activities, we will also exhibit the official art posters of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games collected in fiscal 2021, along with the expressions of various artists. I look back on my memories of the day.

 

There were only a few retro posters that were a little grotesque or erotic, but they were interesting.

 

 

 

More than that, I was fascinated by the work exhibition at the Citizen’s Gallery.

 

There were a wide range of works, from objects that I didn’t understand, from calligraphy to armor.

 

I’m curious about how the deceased made it so far and how much time and money it took.
