本日は「大安」と「一粒万倍日」の２つが重なる縁起の良い日。

 

一粒万倍日（いちりゅうまんばいび）は、日本の暦に古くからある吉日の一つで、二十四節気の節目と節目の間の２日が一粒万倍二日になります。おおよそ６日に１回、ひと月に５日、１年間だと約６０日もあります。

 

この言葉の意味は、「種籾（たねもみ）一粒から一本の稲ができ、この稲から万倍もの数のお米が穫れること」、「わずかなものが飛躍的に増えること」この日に始めたことは、やがて大きな成果を上げると考えられることから、一粒万倍日は「何かを始めるのに最適な日」とされます。

 

また、お金を投資すると、将来的にそれが大きな利益となって返ってくると考えられていて、欲しかった靴を買ったり、新しい財布を買ったり、使い始めたり、他にも宝くじを買うなど、お金に関連することに良い日とされています。

私最近ほしいものがたくさんありすぎまして、一粒万倍日ということを理由にして買い物中毒になってしまいそうなところ・・・（笑）我慢です。

 

逆に、一粒万倍日にやってはいけないのが、借金や人からものを借りること、また夫婦や家族、友達との争いや喧嘩などマイナスな事柄は、後にさらに増幅され、「苦労が万倍になる」とされるので要注意とも言われます。

 

そして今回は「大安」とも重なっていますよね。

大安は六曜（暦に記載される吉凶である暦注の一つ）の吉日で、この日には何をやっても良いとされています。

六曜が日本に伝来したのは鎌倉時代とされ、日本の文化風土に寄り添いながら、少しずつ解釈や順番なども変化して、江戸時代後期には、暦の暦注として記されるようになったと言われています。

 

その後、現在までの冠婚葬祭の日取りを決めるのに欠かせない存在になりましたが、近頃では予定をスマホで管理する人も多く、六曜を意識することが少なくなっているということもあるあるですよね。（実際に私ものその一人です。）

ですが、TwitterやLINEニュースなどで「今日は何の日？」というように日本の歴史や文化、特別な日などをお知らせしてくれるということも最近は増えてきて、今日が一粒万倍日と大安が重なると知ったのもSNSのおかげでした。

 

こうやって普段は意識していないですが、ふと今日が良い日だということを知ると、朝から気分が良くなってなんでもうまくいきそうな気がしてきます。

今年も残すところ約３か月ですが、まだ一粒万倍日や大安の日はまだ存在するようですし、他にも縁起の良い日は沢山存在しますので、是非皆さまも調べてみると、その日を特別な１日にできるかもしれません。
