一週間程前に岐阜県に行ってきました。

友人が蝶の絵を描きたいらしく、蝶を見られる場所、蝶の標本が買える場所ということで岐阜県岐阜市にあります「名和昆虫博物館」に行きました。ちょうどわたしも蝶に興味を持っていたので、本当に偶然良いタイミングで見に行くことが出来ました。

 

博物館といっても、大きい建物ではありません。二階建ての一軒家ほどの大きさです。ですが、周りには観光地がたくさんありますから人や車は多いです。もちろん駐車場はとても混みます。

 

名前の通り、建物に世界各地の昆虫が標本になってたくさんいます。右を見ても、左を見ても、奥に行っても、昆虫！という感じです。虫が嫌い！という人はとても耐えられない場所ですね…。

（ここから先は昆虫が嫌いな方は進まないことをお勧めいたします。。。）

ですが世界各地の昆虫ですから、世界で美しいと言われている昆虫も見ることが出来るのです。

主に標本ですが、少しだけ生きている昆虫もいました。

 

I went to Gifu prefecture about a week ago.
My friend wanted to draw a picture of a butterfly, so I went to the “Nawa Museum of Insects” in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture because it is a place where you can see butterflies and buy butterflies specimens. I was also interested in butterflies, so I happened to be able to go see them at the right time.
The museum is not a big building. It’s about the size of a two-story single-family home. However, there are many tourist spots around, so there are many people and cars. Of course the parking lot is very crowded.
As the name suggests, there are many specimens of insects from all over the world in the building. Whether you look to the right, to the left, or to the back, insects! It’s like that. I hate insects! It’s a very unbearable place …
(If you don’t like insects, we recommend that you don’t go any further.)
However, since they are insects from all over the world, you can also see insects that are said to be beautiful in the world.
Mainly specimens, but some insects were a little alive.

 

 

「ヘルクレスオオツノカブト」です。

昔流行った昆虫カードで例えたらレアキャラですね。大きくて、強いので。

他に生きているものでは「ニジイロクワガタ」がいました。

ちょうど昆虫ゼリーを食べているところだったので、なんだか愛らしかったです。

 

It is “Hercules Otsuno Kabuto”.

It’s a rare character if you compare it with an insect card that was popular in the past. Because it’s big and strong.

Another living thing was the “Nijiiro stag beetle”.

I was just eating insect jelly, so it was kind of lovely.

 

 

昆虫のアップになってしまうので、気持ち悪くなってしまった方がいましたらすみません。

どうか目を薄めて色だけに集中して見て下さい。

とてもきれいな色ではないですか？

こちらの昆虫、皆さまご存じの方も多いのではないでしょうか？

「タマムシ」です。

光が上からしかないので色の輝きが分かりづらいですが、他の標本の昆虫に比べてとてもキラキラしていました。

タマムシと言えば、ベルギーのブリュッセル王国にある緑の天井が思いつきます。

緑色の天井をしているのですが、それらは実はタマムシだそうです。画像でしか見たことはありませんが、タマムシで出来た緑の天井…色の違和感がすごいです。

皆さまもぜひ調べてみて下さい。

Please dilute your eyes and concentrate on the colors.
Isn’t it a very beautiful color?
I think many of you are familiar with this insect.
It is a “jewel beetle”.
It is difficult to see the brilliance of the color because the light is only from above, but it was very glittering compared to the insects of other specimens.
Speaking of jewel beetles, you can think of a green ceiling in the Kingdom of Brussels, Belgium.
They have green ceilings, but they are actually jewel beetles. I’ve only seen it in the image, but the green ceiling made of jewel beetles … The color is strange.

ちなみに、館内には閉ざされた箱がいくつかあり、自由に開けることが出来るのですが「勇気のある人のみ限定！」と書かれていたり、クイズがたくさんあったりと面白い仕掛けがあります。

もちろんすべて開けました。来たからには見たいですよね。

小さな子どもたちもとても楽しんでいるようでした。

 

By the way, there are some closed boxes in the hall, and you can open them freely, but there are interesting gimmicks such as “Only for courageous people!” And many quizzes.

Of course I opened everything. I want to see it because I came.

The small children also seemed to enjoy themselves very much.

 

 

そしてなんと言っても個人的見所は蝶！

普段は見ることもできない世界の美しい蝶を標本でですが見ることが出来ました。

大きな蝶や、蛾に見える蝶、蝶に見える蛾、面白かったです。

蝶は美しいと分かってはいましたが、さらにそう思うようになりました。

 

And after all, the personal highlight is butterflies!

I was able to see the beautiful butterflies of the world, which I can’t usually see, though they are specimens.

Big butterflies, butterflies that look like moths, moths that look like butterflies were interesting.

I knew that butterflies were beautiful, but I started to think so.
