真夏の日差しにも負けず、ベランダの向日葵が元気に咲く今日。

私は暑さに負けて日中は一歩も外に出ないように、夕方から夜になると活発になる猫のような生活を送っております。

そんな私の最近の楽しみといえば、夏の雲の写真を集めることです。（略して雲コレ）昔からあの大きくて、もこもことした立派な雲を見ると、とてもワクワクするのです。

とくに夏の雲の代表「入道雲」、縦に分厚い雲で私が一番好きな雲なのですが、この入道雲は雲の中でも最も危険な雲といわれています。大きいものだと高さ１０km以上になる積乱雲もあり、激しい雨や竜巻、豪雨が発生することもあります。

ここで「積乱雲」と、「入道雲」の違いについて、皆さまご存知でしょうか。

「入道雲」とは積乱雲の一種で、積乱雲が発達していく過程で見られる雲の一形態の呼び名だそうです。

ということは、私が好きな雲は積乱雲ではなく、入道雲ということですね！！

雲の種類について語っていくと、かなり情報量が多いので詳しくは語りませんが、今までは季節によって雲の種類が違っていると思っていたのですが、どうやら違ったようです。

というのも、たとえば秋のイメージが強いひつじ雲も実は年中できているのですが、できる場所が違うため地上から見えにくくなっているだけなのです。

たとえば、夏は上昇気流が発達しやすく、一緒に埃も舞い上がるので高い位置にある雲は見えませんが、代わりに上昇気流でできた積乱雲がたくさん見られるようになるということだったのです。

そう考えると、夏によく見えがちな入道雲も実は年中できているということは夏の雲が好きというよりは夏に見える雲が好きなだけということですね（笑）

昔は何も感じなかったのですが、最近みた映画のワンシーンで、縁側で蝉の鳴き声を聞き、入道雲背景にビールと枝豆を食べるという場面になんとも言えないエモーショナルな気持ちになってしまいました。

やはり入道雲と縁側は私の憧れです。

My latest hobby is collecting photos of clouds in the summer. (abbreviated as cloud) I’ve always been very excited to see those big, fluffy, splendid clouds.

In particular, thunderheads, which are representative of summer clouds, are my favorite because they are vertically thick clouds, and they are said to be the most dangerous of all clouds. Cumulonimbus clouds can reach heights of 10 km or more, and can cause heavy rain, tornadoes, and heavy rain.

Do you know the difference between “cumulonimbus” and “cumulonimbus”? “Thunderhead” is a type of cumulonimbus cloud, and it seems to be the name of a form of cloud that can be seen in the process of developing cumulonimbus clouds. That means that my favorite cloud is not a cumulonimbus, but a thunderhead! !

When I talk about the types of clouds, there is a lot of information, so I won’t go into detail, but until now I thought that the types of clouds differed depending on the season, but it seems that they are different.

This is because, for example, the sheep cloud, which has a strong image of autumn, is actually formed all year round, but it is difficult to see it from the ground because it is formed in different places.

For example, in the summer, updrafts tend to develop and dust rises with them, so high clouds cannot be seen, but instead, cumulonimbus clouds created by updrafts can be seen.

If you think about it that way, thunderheads that tend to be visible in the summer are actually formed all year round.

In the past, I didn’t feel anything at all, but in a scene from a movie I recently saw, listening to the cicadas on the porch and eating beer and green soybeans against the background of thunderclouds made me feel indescribably emotional. 

After all, cumulonimbus clouds and porch are my longing. Finally, I would like to finish with my cloud collection.

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフＮでございます。

久しぶりに実家に帰りましたら、ところごころ部屋が綺麗になっておりました。

どうやら、もうすぐデンマークから留学生が来るそうです。

デンマークは夏でも２６度を超えることはないそうで、日本のこの暑さに耐えられるのか心配でございます。

さて、東京の知人から長瀞渓谷の写真が届きました。

「長瀞」皆さま読めますでしょうか？

こちら「ながとろ」と読みます。

恥ずかしながら私は読めませんでした。

「瀞」とは『緩やか』という意味だそうです。

長瀞渓谷（ながとろけいこく）は埼玉県秩父郡長瀞町にございます。

秩父の自然が生み出した景勝地で1924年（大正13年）には国の天然記念物として指定されています。

秩父といえば、アニメ「あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。」の聖地でございますね。

当時は、涙が枯れはてるまで泣いたのを覚えております。

ドラマ版には、人気女優の浜辺美波、私の大好きな村上虹郎も出演しておりますので、ご興味ある方は是非ご覧くださいませ。

長瀞一帯は遥か昔、海の底にあったそうです。

海底に堆積した火山噴出物や泥、砂などが白亜紀（約8000万年前頃）にプレートの動きによって、さらに20〜30km以上もの底に沈んでいきました。

その時、沈んだ堆積物にものすごい圧力が加わり結晶片岩ができます。

結晶片岩とは元の岩石や堆積物が異なる圧力や温度によって別の構造へと変化した岩の一種のことです。

それらが長い年月をかけて、地殻変動などによって再び地表へ現れ、そこを流れる荒川によって侵食を受け、長瀞渓谷の今の姿を作り出しました。

そのため長瀞渓谷は地質学上、とても貴重なデータが取れる場所として多くの地質学者によって研究されてきました。

始まりは1878年（明治11年）のドイツ人地質学者ハインリッヒ・エドムント・ナウマン（ナウマン博士）による日本列島各地の地質調査でございます。

博士の率いる調査団が長瀞を訪れると地質学的価値の高い場所だと分かり、それ以来、多くの学者の地質学研究の重要拠点となったのです。

埼玉県立自然の博物館には、その証として「日本地質学発祥の地」の石碑があります。

有名なのが、全国でも指を数える程しかない、天然氷の蔵元が直営しているかき氷屋、だそうです。

最近はかき氷ブームに沸いていますが、長蛇の列を並んででも食べたい絶品かき氷の元祖は長瀞のかき氷かもしれません。

このかき氷を求めて、県外から足を運ぶ人も少なくないとか。

お店で提供されている氷は、渓谷から湧き出る天然水を専用の貯水池に溜めて、極寒の冬に自然の気温で時間をかけて徐々に凍らせたます。

その氷は貯蔵庫で保管され、年中通して使えるように管理されております。

冷蔵庫でできた氷とは違い、キメが細かくふわふわとやわらかい口当たりのやさしいそうです。

天然氷のかき氷、是非食べてみたいですね。

長い年月をかけて美しさに磨きをかけた長瀞渓谷、古美術と通ずるものがあるかもしれません。

いつか実際に行ける日を夢見て、頑張りたいと思います。

Well, I received a photo of Nagatoro Valley from an acquaintance in Tokyo.

Can you read “Nagatoro”?

This is read as “Nagatoro”.

Shamefully I couldn’t read it.

“Toro” means “relaxed”.

Nagatoro Valley is located in Nagatoro Town, Chichibu County, Saitama Prefecture.

It is a scenic spot created by Chichibu’s nature in 1924 (Taisho 13).

Speaking of Chichibu, it is the sacred place of the anime “We still don’t know the name of the flower we saw that day”.

At that time, I remember crying until my tears dried up.

Popular actress Minami Hamabe and my favorite Nijiro Murakami are also appearing in the drama version, so if you are interested, please take a look.

The Nagatoro area is said to have been at the bottom of the sea long ago.

During the Cretaceous period (about 80 million years ago), volcanic ejecta, mud, sand, etc. deposited on the seafloor sank to the bottom more than 20 to 30 km due to plate movement.

At that time, the submerged sediment is subjected to tremendous pressure, forming crystalline schist.

Crystalline schist is a type of rock in which the original rock or sediment has been transformed into a different structure by different pressures and temperatures.

Over a long period of time, they reappeared on the surface due to crustal movements and other factors, and were eroded by the Arakawa River, which created the Nagatoro Valley as it is today.

For this reason, Nagatoro Valley has been studied by many geologists as a place where very valuable geological data can be obtained.

It started in 1878 (Meiji 11) with the geological survey of various parts of the Japanese archipelago by German geologist Heinrich Edmund Naumann (Dr. Naumann).

When a research team led by the doctor visited Nagatoro, it was found to be a place of high geological value, and since then it has become an important base for geological research by many scholars.

At the Saitama Prefectural Museum of Nature, there is a stone monument that reads “The Birthplace of Japanese Geology” as proof of this.

It is said that one of the most famous shaved ice shops in Japan is directly managed by a natural ice brewery.

Recently, the shaved ice boom is booming, but Nagatoro’s shaved ice may be the origin of the exquisite shaved ice that you want to eat even if you line up in a long line.

It is said that there are quite a few people who come from outside the prefecture in search of this shaved ice.

The ice offered at the shop is made by accumulating natural water from the valley in a special reservoir and slowly freezing it over time at the natural temperature during the frigid winter.

The ice is stored in storage and managed so that it can be used all year round.

Unlike the ice made in the refrigerator, the texture is fine, fluffy, and soft.

Shaved ice made with natural ice, I definitely want to try it.

The beauty of Nagatoro Valley, which has been refined over the years, may have something in common with antique art.

I want to do my best, dreaming of the day when I can actually go.

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフNでございます。

７月も今日で最終日、明日から８月でございます。

先日、何年振りかに東京ディズニーシーに行って参りました。

誘われて、大人になっても楽しめるか、心配しながら行きましたが、とっても楽しかったです。

夢の国なんだから当たり前だろ、とディズニーファンの方には怒られてしまうかもしれませんが、実はN、一時期ディズニーに行かなくなってしまったのです。

小さい時は大好きで毎年言っていたのですが、ある時に「あぁ、これはすべて偽物なんだ・・・」と急に悲しくなってしまった時がありました。

しかし今回、キャストやキャラクターではなく、お客さんから元気をもらうという新たな楽しみ方を見つけることができました。

舞浜駅に降りた時から空気が変わり、TDLを楽しみにしている笑顔で幸せそうな人たちがたくさんいる空間が、世界で一番平和な場所に思えて幸せでございました。

今回は現地集合で１人で舞浜駅に向かったため、いつもは気付かない周りの人達の幸せオーラに気付いたのかもしれません。

船や汽車に乗っていると、見ず知らずの人が手を振ってくれる。

知らない人同士なのに、気持ちが通じ合っている感覚が嬉しい。

と感じ、途中から「手を振られたら全力で振り返す」「手を振っている人がいないか探す」という、謎の使命感にかられ、謎のミッションをしておりました（笑）

久しぶりのディズニーは正直わからないことだらけで大変でございました。

携帯で入るの？ファストパスなくなったの？エントリーで落ちたらショー見れないの？ディズニープレミアアクセスって何？ミラコスタの通路は開園１時間後からなの？

などなど、事前準備したのにも関わらずパニックに陥っておりました。

さらに、知人にとってもらったチケットが間違っており、アーリーイブニングパスポートという１５時からしか入れないチケットだったり・・・

キッズサマーファンと書いてあるから子供チケットと勘違いしたり・・・

横文字が多すぎててんやわんやでございました。

そして、ミッキーの声が少し違っていたので驚いたのですが、２０１８年から交代しているようですね。

調べたら前の声優さんは大学教授で、副業でミッキーの声をされていたそうです、驚きですね。

「ここに来れば、絶対楽しい、絶対幸せになれる」という安心感がディズニーの魅力なのかもしれません。

一人でも、何回でもディズニーに行きたくなる気持ちがわかる気が致します。

The other day, I went to Tokyo DisneySea for the first time in years.

I was invited and worried about whether I would be able to enjoy it even as an adult, but it was a lot of fun.

Disney fans may get mad at me because it’s a dreamland, but actually, N, I stopped going to Disney for a while.

When I was little, I loved it and said it every year, but there was a time when I suddenly became sad and said, “Oh, this is all fake…”.

However, this time, I was able to find a new way to enjoy it, not the cast and characters, but the audience.

When I got off at Maihama Station, the atmosphere changed, and I was happy to see that the space was filled with smiles and happy people looking forward to TDL, and I thought it was the most peaceful place in the world.

This time, I headed to Maihama Station alone for a local meeting, so I may have noticed the happy aura of the people around me, which I usually don’t notice.

When you are on a ship or train, strangers will wave to you.

Even though we don’t know each other, I’m happy to feel that we can understand each other’s feelings.

I felt like I was doing a mysterious mission halfway through, “If someone waves my hand, I will turn around with all my might” and “Look for someone who is waving their hand”.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Disney, and honestly, it was full of things I didn’t understand.

Can I enter with my cell phone? Did you run out of fastpasses? Can’t you watch the show if you fail the entry? What is Disney Premier Access? Is the passage of MiraCosta one hour after the park opens?

Etc. I was in a panic despite having prepared in advance.

In addition, the ticket I got from an acquaintance was wrong, and it was an early evening passport, a ticket that can only be entered after 15:00…

Because it says “Kids Summer Fun”, I misunderstand it as a child’s ticket…

There were too many horizontal characters and it was confusing.

And I was surprised that Mickey’s voice was a little different, but it seems that it has been replaced since 2018.

I did some research and found out that the previous voice actor was a university professor, and he was doing Mickey’s voice as a side job.

Perhaps Disney’s appeal lies in the sense of security that “if you come here, you will definitely have fun, you will definitely be happy.”

Even alone, I feel like I can understand the feeling of wanting to go to Disney again and again.

本日７月３０日（土）と明日３１日（日）は３年ぶりに覚王山夏祭が開催されます。

今年の開催時間は、少し短めですが、夕方１６時から２１時までと夕涼みにぴったりの時間から始まるそうです。

実は昨日から一足早く「奉火祭」は実施されたようで、夏の間の無病息災と、祭りの成功を祈って読経もあげていたそうですよ。

私もコロナ前には何度か行ったことがあるのですが、覚王山駅から日泰寺参道に向けての途中まで、様々なお店が出店しとっても賑わっていたことを覚えております。夏祭りと聞くといくつになっても胸がどきどきしてしまいます。

この時期、各地でお祭りが開催されていると思いますが、皆さまはどこか参加さましたか？

そもそもお祭りの起源は、紀元前、神話の時代にまでさかのぼります。太陽の神アマテラスオオミカミの弟、スサノオノミコトが原因で天の岩戸に隠れてしまったアマテラスオオミカミに出てきてもらうため踊りの名手アメノウズメが踊りだしたことが神社の祭りの起源といわれる有名な「天の岩戸隠れ」のエピソードで日本最古の歴史書に記されています。

以来、神社や寺院を舞台に行事・儀礼としての祭りが始まり、「祭り」の語源は「まつらふ」で、心を尽くした供え物で神様に感謝をささげることを意味しています。

そして平安時代には神が神社から町に降りられる神興が登場し、江戸時代には山車や花火などの娯楽も加わり、主役は神仏から庶民へと変っていったそうです。

やはり、夏のお祭りはなくてはならない存在ですね。

In fact, it seems that the “Fire Festival” was held a little earlier than yesterday, and it seems that people were praying for good health during the summer and for the success of the festival.

I’ve been there a few times before the pandemic, and I remember that the area from Kakuozan Station to Nittaiji Temple was very busy with various shops opening. No matter how old I am when I hear about summer festivals, my heart starts beating fast.

I think summer festivals are held in various places around this time, but have you been to any summer festivals?

In the first place, the origin of the festival goes back to BC, the age of mythology. It is said that the origin of the shrine’s festival is said to be the origin of the shrine’s festival, when Amaterasu Omikami, the sun god’s younger brother, hid herself in the heavenly cave due to Susanoo no Mikoto. It is recorded in Japan’s oldest history book in the episode of Amanoiwato Kakure.

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

暑い日々が続き、夏バテ気味の方も多いのではないでしょうか。

私は、運動するようになり食欲が以前より増え、食べ過ぎの毎日を送っています。

ダイエットの目的で始めた運動も逆効果なのですが、そんな本日は色と食欲に関するお話をさせていただきます。

早速ですが、皆さまのご家庭には何色の器が多いでしょうか。私の家の食器棚には様々な色の器で溢れていたのですが、その中でも特に多かった色が、白色や暖色系の器が多いことがわかりました。

そこで当店で取り扱っている器を見てみると当店のインスタグラムなどをご存知の方はおわかりいただけると思いますが、青系の器が多いように思います。

ですが、衝撃的な事実として青色は食欲を減退させる色と言われていて、「ダイエットしたいなら青い器を使うといい」とも言われているそうなのです。

しかし、定食屋さんなどで魚料理が出てきた際には青い器が使用されていることも多いですし、和食器のお皿には青色や藍色がよく見受けられますよね。

当店では、和食器などの取り扱いが多いため、青系の器が多いのですが、実は青い色が食欲を減退させるというのも１００％青色の場合だそうです。

１０％～２０％青色の器は逆に食欲を増進させる傾向があるそうなのです！なので、食品にはない色の器を使うことで彩豊かな料理に見えるということです。

このほかにも、白色の器はどんな料理を盛っても映えて見えますし、緑色の器は付け合わせのレタスのように、料理の色を補ってくれるため、より美味しく見せることができる色なのだとか。

そして色でいうと一番は暖色系の器だそうです。

暖色系の器は料理の色合いなどを考えなくても無条件で食欲を増進させる効果があるようです。

どおりで、自宅にある器で食事するとたくさん食べ過ぎてしまうわけです…（笑）

もちろん器のせいではありませんが、今は器のせいにしておきます。

色がもたらす効果というのはやはりおもしろいですよね。

Immediately, what color of tableware do you have in your home? The cupboards in my house were full of tableware of various colors, and I found that the most common color was white or warm-colored tableware.

However, as a shocking fact, blue is said to be a color that reduces appetite, and it is said that “if you want to diet, you should use a blue bowl”. However, blue plates are often used when fish dishes are served at set meal shops, and blue and indigo are often seen on Japanese tableware plates.

At our shop, we handle a lot of Japanese tableware, so there are many blue-based dishes, but in fact, it seems that the blue color reduces the appetite when it is 100% blue. On the contrary, 10% to 20% blue plates tend to increase appetite! Therefore, by using tableware of a color that is not found in food, it looks like a colorful dish.

Besides this, the white bowl looks great no matter what kind of dish you serve, and the green bowl complements the color of the dish like lettuce with garnish, so it can look more delicious. And.

And in terms of color, it seems that the warmest color vessel is the best.Warm-colored vessels seem to have the effect of unconditionally increasing appetite without considering the color of the dish. That’s right, if you eat with a bowl at home, you will eat too much …

みなさま、こんにちはスタッフYでございます。

古美術好きの皆さまならご覧になっていらっしゃる方は多いのではないでしょうか。先日のNHK「美の壺」は、香木のお話でしたね。

そう、あの伝説の香木「蘭奢待」のお話、まあまあ興奮いたしました。と言いますのも、３年ほど前、東京の国立博物館にて「正倉院展」が開催された際に、ラッキーにも実際に「蘭奢待」を拝見することができた思い出が蘇ってまいりました。

「蘭奢待」少しご説明いたしますと、本来は奈良県の東大寺正倉院に保存されております全長１．５メートル、最大直径３７．８センチ、重量１１．６キログラムにもおよぶ日本最大であり伝説の香木。実際拝見いたしますと一見大きな流木のようですが（失礼）、日本で一番価値の高い香木でございます。

正倉院宝物目録での名は「黄熟香（おうじゅくこう）」と呼ばれ、平城京の仏教文化を創った聖武天皇の崩御後、光明皇后により東大寺に奉献された聖武天皇遺愛の品々の一つではないかといわれておりますが、その出自、伝来についても詳しいことは分かっておりません。中国の呉からの献上品であるという説、弘法大師空海が中国から持ち帰ったものという説など諸説ございますが、きっと東南アジアなどから運ばれてきた大変貴重な香木。当時としては大変な航海を経て、大切にここまで運ばれてきたのでしょうから、大変いとおしいくも思われます。

また、「蘭奢待」という名は雅名であり、またの名を「東大寺」と呼ぶそうです。

それぞれの文字をよく拝見しますと「蘭、奢、待」の中に「東、大、寺」という文字が隠れてるのがお判りでしょうか。「蘭奢待」と呼ばれるようになったのは足利義満の時代からで、「猛々しく奢った侍が必ず欲しがる」ためだといわれておりますので、当時の武将たちの「蘭奢待」への憧れがこの雅名からも見て取れますね。

さてこの香木ですが、正倉院に納められた当初はさほど有名なものではなかったようでして、正倉院に素晴らしい香木があるという話は、長い年月をかけて世間に広っていったようであります。歴代の天皇や将軍たちは手柄のあった者に対しこの香木を切り取って与えたことから、この香木を持つことが権力者にとってのステータスとなり、やがて「蘭奢待を持つ者＝天下人」であるという伝説が生まれていきます。

実際に、蘭奢待には足利義政、織田信長、明治天皇という時の権力者たちが切り取り、その切り取った場所には付箋が残されていますので、この香木を勝ち取ったぞと、知らしめた証のような切り取り方であります。また、他にも切り取ったあともあるようでして、正式な記録を残さないまま蘭奢待を切り取った時の権力者が何名かいるのではないかとも考えられております。

このようにこれらが喧伝したことで、蘭奢待の伝説は世間に広がり、その後の文学や舞台にもその名が登場するなどさらなる伝説を生み出してくのですが、先だっての大河ドラマ「麒麟がくる」にもその信長が所望するシーンが登場しておりまして、記憶にある方もおみえではないでしょう。

また「正倉院展」の展示の際には、この香木を収める大きな木箱（大きさは、小柄な人間サイズでしょうか、大変大きいです。）も展示されていたのですが、香木がいつの時代も丁重に扱われ、その時々で纏った得も言われぬオーラと言いましょうか何かしら迫力のようなものを感じた記憶がございます。この香木に魅せられた権威者の顔が見え隠れするからでしょうか、彼らの思いまでもが香木の重みとしても感じとれます。

そんな大きな「蘭奢待」ですが、香炉で焚く際には大きさは数ミリ角の小さな木片。この数ミリの木片の中に計り知れない重みをもたらす香木「蘭奢待」、いったいどんな香りがするのか…。ますます気になってまいりましたね。

話は先ほどの「美の壺」に戻りますが、今年５月東京・芝の増上寺にて、志野流香道による日本と世界の安寧を祈るための献香式を執りおこなったとのこと。

我々が生きている間にの香を聞くことなどないなとおもっておりましたので、この時代にその香を聞くことができるとは！すごくないか！と、まずもって感動。

その増上寺に集まった方々は実に500人、大きな講堂にて献香式は粛々と執り行われておりましたが、「蘭奢待」の香りはいかに…。気になります。ですが、あくまでも日本と世界の安寧を祈るための献香。儀式を執り行った二十世幽光斎宗玄（ゆうこうさいそうげん）宗匠によりますと、その香りはとても静かで穏やかな香りであったようでございます。興味本位で知りたがりの自分がちょっと恥ずかしくなってまいりました…。

大講堂では香を聞くことはなかなか難しいと思われますが、天下の香木を聞くあの場面に立ち会えることは、今後まずございません。TV越しにその場面を目に焼き付けたのですが、香りは…皆さま自分の中でいろいろと想像することと致しましょう笑。

By the way, it seems that this fragrant tree was not so famous when it was first delivered to Shosoin, but the story that there is a wonderful fragrant tree in Shosoin will spread to the world over the years. In fact, Ranjatai was cut by Yoshimasa Ashikaga, Nobunaga Oda, and Emperor Meiji, and a sticky note was left in the cut place, so it was a proof that he had won this fragrant tree. It is a cutting method like. In addition, it is thought that there may be some people in power when Ranjatai was cut out without leaving a formal record, as there are other cases after it was cut out.

By promoting these things in this way, the legend of Ranjatai spreads to the world, and further legends will be created, such as the name appearing in the literature and the stage after that. The scene that Nobunaga wanted appeared in the previous taiga drama “Kirin ga Kuru”, and you may not even remember it.

Also, at the time of the “Shosoin Exhibition” exhibition, a large wooden box (the size is a small human size, is it very large) to store this fragrant tree is also exhibited, and it is not said that both fragrant trees are profitable. I remember feeling something like an aura. Is it because the faces of the authorities fascinated by this fragrant tree can be seen and hidden, or is it because their thoughts also felt as the weight of the fragrant tree?

Although it is such a big “Ranjatai”, it is a small piece of wood that is several millimeters in size when it is burned in an incense burner. What kind of scent does “Ranjatai”, a fragrant tree that brings immeasurable weight to a few millimeters of wood, smell? I’m getting more and more interested.

The story goes back to the “Beauty Pot”, but in May this year, at Zoujoji Temple in Shiba, Tokyo, a scent ceremony was held by Shino Ryukado to pray for the well-being of Japan and the world.

I’m sure we wouldn’t hear incense while we were alive, so it’s possible to hear incense in this era! Isn’t it great! I was impressed.

There were actually 500 people gathered at Zoujoji Temple, and the incense ceremony was held quietly in a large auditorium, but how about the scent of “Ranjatai”? I’m curious. However, it is a scent to pray for the well-being of Japan and the world. According to the scholar of the 20th generation Yukousai Sogen, who performed the ritual, the scent was very quiet.

It may be difficult to hear incense in the auditorium, but it is unlikely that you will be able to witness that scene of listening to incense trees in the world. The scene was imprinted on my eyes through the TV, but the scent is … Let’s imagine various things lol.

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

不安定な天気が続きます。昨晩から雷雨であまり深く眠れず…

そんな今日は、最近感じたもどかしさについてお話します。

題名から今回のブログの内容が暗すぎると、ご心配をおかけしてしまうといけないので、最初にお話しすると、最近新しい口紅を購入いたしまして。昔から口紅を集めるのが趣味で、新しい商品などが出るとすぐ欲しくなってしまうのです。（笑）

ですが、マスク生活が始まり、口紅をつけても見えないというもどかしさと共にマスク生活の影響についてお話ししようかなと思いまして…

わたくし元々、自分の気持ちを相手にうまく伝えることができない不器用な性格なのです。本当は心の中では、こう思っていても、実際に言葉にすると、あれ？こういうことが言いたかったわけではないのに…ということは多々あります。

そして今つくづく実感することが相手の表情がよく見えないことのもどかしさです。

正直これまでは表情を見ながら話をすることで、今ちゃんと言いたいことが伝わっているんだなと感じることができていたのですが、約３年ほど経つでしょうか。マスク生活に慣れつつある今でも、マスク越しに目だけで相手の気持ちを読みとらなければいけないことにとても苦労しています。

もうそろそろ慣れてもいいのでは？と思われる方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、これがまた難しいのです。

ましてや、電話となると”緊張”という新たな感情がでてきてしまい、もっと話せなくなってしまいます。

なので私自身いつも相手が話しやすい環境作りや、表情、相槌、声のトーンを心掛けるようにしていますが、その行為が相手に伝わっているのかと言われるとわかりません。ただ、常に相手の気持ちになって考えるということを意識することは、少なくとも悪い結果にはならないはず。

結局何が言いたいかと言いますと、はやく皆がマスクなしでお互いの顔を見ながら、思いっきり明るく会話できる日が来てほしいと切実に願っています。

そして、口紅コレクションを使う日もまた、待ち遠しいです！

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフNでございます。

以前見にいった作家さんの絵が、エビスビールの限定パッケージになったそうで、Nもいただきました。

Nはお酒が飲めないので、パッケージを眺めるだけでございますが、深い青がきれいでございますね。

残念ながら、九州、四国、中国地方などの一部でしか買えないので、こちらではオンラインのみのようです。

営業の方が絵に一目ぼれをして、実現したそうです。

絵画を生活に取り入れたいといつも思っているのですが、そういう作品があまりないので悲しいです。

ロハコなどには北欧の可愛らしいデザインの日用品がございますね。

モネの絵をモチーフにしたワンピース、ミュシャのスニーカーなど販売されてはいるのですが、派手でコーディネートしづらいのと、少々お高めなのであきらめてしまいます。

Nも昔、モネの傘を大変気に入って使っていたのですが、可愛すぎたのか盗まれてしまいました。

取り入れやすいところでいうと、美術館のクリアファイルやハンカチなどでしょうか。

スマホケースなんかも人気ですね。

美術館のグッズどのようなものがあるか気になり調べてみたら、靴下、スケートボード、壁紙、ティーカップなどがございました。

絵画を飾るのではなく、壁紙にしてしまうという発想、面白いです。

さらに、海外ではメガネなど、誰がつけるんだろうというようなド派手なものもございました。

最近画期的だと思ったのが、有名な通販サイトのミュージアム部が自分の好きなクリアファイルやポストカードを入れられる、トートバッグやポーチを作ったことです。

わざわざ作らなくても自分流にカスタマイズできるなんて、素晴らしいですよね。

車に乗らないNですが、見るのは好きなので、車ももっと柄があったら面白いのにというも街中で思っております。

なので、キャラクターなどが書かれた痛車なんかを見ると少しわくわくしてしまいますね。

ミュージアムグッズについての本もあるそうで、まだまだ知らないグッズがありそうですね。

可愛いミュージアムグッズ、手に入れた際にはこちらのブログでも自慢したいと思います。

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

早速ですが、７月２３日（土）昨日は二十四節気の「大暑」、「土用の丑の日」。

暦の上では一年で最も厳しい暑さとなる頃ですが、すでに４０度近くを経験しているので、昨日は暑くてもまだ我慢ができる暑さでした。

とはいえ、暑いのは暑い。

なぜ土用の丑の日に鰻？とこの時期になるといつも疑問になり、毎年同じように調べてみるのですが、特に体調を崩しやすい夏に、ビタミン・ミネラルが豊富で疲労回復に効果的な鰻を食べることで夏バテしない説が有力ですよね。

では、そもそも鰻はいつから食べられていたのか…

調べてみたのですが、日本で鰻が食べられ始めたのは縄文時代。

当時の貝塚から鰻の骨が発見されていることから、古来より日本で鰻が食べられていることが分かっているそうです。

また有力な古事として、奈良時代末期「万葉集」にも鰻に関する歌が残っています。これは、歌人の大伴家持が友人に詠った「夏痩せには鰻を食べると良い」という内容のものです。つまりこの頃から、うなぎは栄養価が高く、夏にはピッタリだと認識されていたのですね。

今でこそ「土用の丑の日」＝「鰻を食べる日」というイメージが強いですが、調べてみると本来は鰻以外にも「土用の丑の日」ならではの食文化や風習があるそうです。

たとえば、うなぎ以外に「う」のつくものを食べると良いとされていて、うどんやウリ、梅干しなど。

他にもドジョウ汁やにんにく、”土用餅”と呼ばれるあんころ餅を食べる地域もあるそうなんです。

そして、食べ物だけではなく、「土用干し」や「丑湯」という習慣もあるそうです。

夏の土用の時期に本や衣服を陰干しし、カビや虫がつかないようにと、今でも行われている習慣のひとつなのだそうです。

また、夏バテ防止のためにと薬草を入れた「丑湯」に入る習慣がある地域もあるとか。つまり鰻を食べる以外にも、一年で一番暑いといわれるこの時期ならではの風習が、日本には根付いているようです。

ここまで語ってきましたが、実はわたくし鰻があまり得意ではないのです…（笑）

なので、「う」がついて、丑の日の”丑”にかけた「牛」を食べて、しっかり栄養をつけました！

まだまだ暑さが続きますので、土用の丑の日に限らず、しっかり栄養の摂れる食事を目指して暑い夏を乗り切りましょう！！

So when did the eels have been eaten in the first place … I looked it up, but it was during the Jomon period that eels began to be eaten in Japan. Since eel bones were found in the shell mounds at that time, it is known that eels have been eaten in Japan since ancient times.

In addition, as a powerful ancient affair, a song about eel remains in “Manyoshu” at the end of the Nara period. This is what the poet Otomo Iemochi wrote to a friend, “Eel is good for losing weight in the summer.” In other words, from around this time, eels were recognized as having high nutritional value and being perfect for summer.

Nowadays, there is a strong image that “Day of the Ox” = “Day of the Ox”, but when I looked it up, it seems that there are other food cultures and customs that are unique to “Day of the Ox”. For example, it is recommended to eat foods with “U” other than eel, such as udon, melon, and pickled plums. There are other areas where you can eat loach soup, garlic, and ankoro mochi called “earthen mochi”.

In addition to food, there are also customs such as “drying for soil” and “Ox hot water”. It is said that it is one of the customs that are still practiced to prevent mold and insects from drying in the shade during the summer soil season. In addition, there are some areas where it is customary to take “Oxyu” containing medicinal herbs to prevent heat fatigue. In other words, besides eating eel, it seems that the custom of this time, which is said to be the hottest in the year, has taken root in Japan.

I’ve talked about it so far, but I’m not really good at eels … (laughs) So, with “U” attached, I ate the “cow” that was put on the “Ox” on the day of the Ox, and I was well nourished! The heat will continue, so let’s survive the hot summer, aiming for a well-nourished meal, not just on the day of the Ox! !!

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフNです。

スタッフMがブログでも言っていた通り「ボテロ展」と「猫展」私も気になっておりました。

実は、猫展のシュッとした猫より、ボテロの絵の方がうちのまん丸でぶ猫に似てるなあと思っておりました。

まん丸猫と言えば、伊勢神宮のおかげ横丁にある、もりわじん先生の大きな猫の銅像をご存知でしょうか？

おかげ横丁に行くたびに、連れて帰りたい！と思うほど、大きさ形、丸み、微笑み方が可愛いのです。

この銅像、どうやら全部で１７体ほどいるらしいのですが、親子、看板猫、夫婦、女将さん、俳句の先生など設定があるらしいです。

おかげ横丁に行かれた際は是非探してみてくださいませ。

もりわじん先生は、日本生まれのアーティストでございます。

カルカッタ、ソウル、ニューヨークなど世界の各都市で展覧会を開催し、創作招き猫のトップアーティストとして活躍。

猫をモチーフとして、平面・立体を問わずあらゆる手法で制作しております。

「猫神様」「大頭猫命」「渾沌神」「猫王」などの、猫を神仏まで高めた他に類を見ない大作を発表する一方で「大ねむり」「うき猫」「猫のおばん」「あたまが温泉」など観る人をなごませる軽妙洒脱な作品も数多く、型にはまらない多面的な魅力を持っております。

もりわじん先生、調べてみると「マツコの知らない世界」という番組の「招き猫の世界」に出演していたようです。

猫が好きすぎて猫モチーフの家を自ら設計してしまったとか。

「生き物にサンキュー！」や「ZIP」にも出演したことがあるそうです。

私も、お金と周りからの目を気にしなければ、是非、猫モチーフ家を建てたいです。

現在は山形県にお住いのようです。

猫も素敵なのですが、今回さらに素敵だと思ったのがブログでございます。

数行で心をつかむ表現と抽象的ではっとさせられる言葉、そして、美術館のような家と可愛い猫、不思議な絵が添えられております。

蓮の池や、焚火、暖炉、庭で気持ちよさそうに寝る猫、とてもうらやましい生活です。

私もこんな風に数行で誰かの心をつかむブログを書きたい、と思いましたが、難しいので文字で稼ぎたいと思います。

そんなもりわじん作品、愛知県瀬戸市の招き猫ミュージアムでも見られるそうです。

私も、もりわじん作品、自分で集めたくなってまいりました。

Speaking of Manmaru cats, do you know the statue of Moriwajin-sensei’s big cat in Okage Yokocho, thanks to Ise Jingu?

Thanks to you, every time I go to Yokocho, I want to take it home! The size, roundness, and smile are so cute that I think.

It seems that there are about 17 statues in total, but there are settings such as parents and children, signboard cats, couples, landlady, and haiku teachers.

Dr. Moriwajin is an artist born in Japan.

He holds exhibitions in cities around the world such as Calcutta, Seoul, and New York, and is active as a top artist of the creative beckoning cat.

He uses cats as a motif and creates them in any way, regardless of whether they are flat or three-dimensional.

While announcing unique masterpieces such as “Cat God”, “Big Head Cat Life”, “Cat King”, and “Cat King”, which raised the cat to the gods and Buddha, “Big Sleep”, “Ukineko”, and “Cat’s” There are many light and stylish works such as “Ban” and “Atamaga Onsen” that soothe the viewer, and they have an unconventional multifaceted charm.
