Nだけ家で猫の世話で留守番というブログを先日書きましたが、またまた置いてけぼり事件が起きました。

 

何やら慌ただしくしていたので聞いてみると、今から東京に旅行に行くというのです。

 

Nは猫の世話で留守番なのですが、日付を聞いていなかったので、急な展開に驚きました。

 

知人に話すと同情されましたが、まあお土産に期待して猫とのんびり過ごしたいと思います。

 

Nは最近「おぱんちゅうさぎ」といううさぎのキャラクターにはまっているのですが決めセリフの「可哀想に！」が聞こえてきそうです。

 

おぱんちゅうさぎは、毎回可哀想な目に合ううさぎなんですが、Instagramでぜひ探してみてください。

 

 

 

 

先日、知人と理想の人について話していたのですが「身長は１７３ｃｍ以上、年齢は１００・・・」と言い間違えたので大爆笑してしまいました。

 

身長の１７３ｃｍにつられて１００と言ってしまったのだと思いますが、想像しただけで面白くてふとした瞬間に思い出してしまいます。

 

本当に理想が１００歳以上の方もいるかもしれませんが、遺産目当てにしか思えなくて怖いですよね（笑）

 

 

知人から、早朝の雷門の写真が送られてきました。

 

有名な浅草の雷門ですが、朝は折りたたんであるのですね、知らなかったです。

 

９４２年に武蔵守 平公雅（たいらのきんまさ）によって創建され、当初は駒形付近にありましたが、鎌倉期以後、今の場所に移されました。

 

 

浅草は、浅草寺の本尊である観音像が推古天皇三十六年（西暦６２８年）三月十八日に隅田川で漁をしていた漁師により引き上げられ、時の郷士により祀られたことに起原しています。

 

雷門は浅草のシンボルとしてとても有名な存在ですが、その正式名称は「風神雷神門」といい、中央に提灯がかけられているその姿は、日本だけでなく世界的に有名でございます。

 

浅草寺は、東京都台東区にある1,400年近い歴史がある都内最古のお寺でございます。

先日から引き続き、私スタッフYが五月雨式にブログをお届けいたします。

本日はここ名古屋は朝から雨が降ってきまして、時折激しい雨脚だったのですが、今は少し落ち着いた雨に変わってきました。これは「五月雨」なのか？と、ふと疑問に思いまして、少し調べてみましたら、やはり旧暦の季語、少し季節の誤差があるようですね。

 

 

 

 

本来、「五月雨（さみだれ）」とは「5月の雨」ではなく、「梅雨の雨」を指しまして、俳句などではやはり夏の季語として扱われるようです。

辞書の記述を確認しましても、「五月雨」の意味は、

１ 陰暦5月ごろに降りつづく長雨。梅雨。つゆ。さつきあめ。《季 夏》

２ 断続的にいつまでもだらだらと続くことのたとえ。

と、なっておりまして、「五月雨」夏の季語ですので俳句では5月の句の中で使うのは予想通り適当ではないようです。旧暦で皐月と呼ばれていた時期は、現在で言う6月上旬～7月上旬のちょうど梅雨にあたりますので、五月雨とは梅雨のころに使うのが本来のようでして、梅雨時期に使われる雨の季語も大変多いのでこれまた混乱しそうではあります。スタッフY、いつまでたっても季語が上手につかえませんね…。

 

そしてその読み方ですが、その皐月の「さ」と、「水垂れ（みだれ）」を組み合わせて「さみだれ」と発音し、「五月雨」という文字をあてたようですが、なんせ梅雨時期に降る雨のことを指しますので、まあその時期にダラダラと続く様子を表すようになりました。

 

ところで、「五月雨」を季語にした俳句に、松尾芭蕉のあの有名な句がございますが、あの句にはちょっと面白い話があるようです。

 

有名な芭蕉の句、

 

「そうか、最上川とはこういう川だったんだな」と思い直し、元々の風流な雰囲気の漂う「涼し」から現在よく知られている「早し」に詠み直してしまったそうですから、体感とはいかに大事か、ですよね。よほど最上川の水勢が強烈な印象だったんでしょう。

 

やはり、たった一つの言葉を一つ入れ替えるだけでこんなに雰囲気の違う句にしてしまうあたりはさすが大天才だけありますが、そんな天才においても体感せねば本来の句は詠めないようですね。よって、凡人は尚のこと何事も体感せねばならないのだなと思った次第でございます。

Originally, “Samidare” does not mean “May rain” but “rainy season rain,” and in haiku, it seems to be treated as a summer season word.

Satsuki rain” is a summer season word, so as expected, it is not appropriate to use it in haiku in May. The period called satsuki in the old calendar corresponds to the rainy season from early June to early July in the current calendar, so the term “May rain” should be used around the time of the rainy season. There are many seasonal words for rain used during the rainy season, so it seems confusing….

 

The reading of the word “satsuki rain” is a combination of “satsuki no sa” and “midare,” which is pronounced “samidare,” and the character “maysuki rain” was applied to the word.

 

By the way, there is a famous haiku by Matsuo Basho that uses “May rain” as a seasonal term.

皆さまこんちはスタッフYでございます。

 

新緑が目にも眩しくなってきまして、いよいよ活動の季節がやってきたと思っていたところだったところに、先日からここ名古屋、いえいえ全国的に季節外れの猛暑。

 

こんなはずではなかった、と、私も先日はあわててエアコンのお掃除をいたしました。本当に四季ではなく日本は二季になっていってるのか…。そう思いますと、この過ごしやすい時期は益々短く、本当に大切に活動しなければならないなと、思った次第でございます。

 

と、思っていた矢先にこの時期を大切に活動している（笑）東海圏外の来客が先日みえまして。

「ここに行きたいのだけど、連れて行って。」とリクエストが。私、知らなかったんですよ、岐阜県中津川市にあります「苗木城跡」のことを。まあ、近くに住んでいるとこんなものなのでしょうか。ちょっと、後悔しております。

 

とにかく写真からダイナミックさが伝わればよいのですが…。一緒に苗木城めぐりしていきましょう。

 

苗木城は、国指定史跡でして岐阜県中津川市苗木の市内を東西に貫流する木曽川の右岸にそびえる高森山（432メートル）に築かれております。その最大の特徴は巨岩を取り込んだ石垣。

 

 

山道を少し歩いていきますといきなりこの景色が。すでにここから時代は戦国～江戸時代に引き戻されます。また、ジブリ映画に出てきそうな全景ともいえますね。

 

城は岩山の上にあり、また、敷地の確保が困難なため建物の構築方法に懸造りが使われております。そしてご覧のとおり自然の地形を有効に活かして築かれた山城であり、天然の巨岩を利用して構築された石垣は全国でも珍しいものでして、まずはそのダイナミックさに驚きます。どうなってるのだ？この城の造りは。

 

少し歩いていきますと大矢倉のある少し広い場所へ。

ここ大矢倉などでは岩を包み込むように積まれた石垣を見ることができ、またその石垣は年代によってさまざまな技法で積まれていることもみることができます。

 

 

 

 

一瞬マチュピチュかと思いました。行ったことはありませんが笑。

 

そして、頂上の展望台からの景色は息を飲むほどの絶景でして、360度の大パノラマが広がり、中津川のシンボルである恵那山、眼下には木曽川、そしてまち並みがすべてみることができます。また、寒暖差のある秋から冬の早朝には、タイミングが良ければ雲海が広がる幻想的な景色が見られるようです。

 

 

 

 

ここ最近、日本のマチュピチュと言われ有名な山城ですと竹田城はご存じの方もいそうではありますが、岐阜県にも日本のマチュピチュがあったようでして。こんなに近いにもかかわらず知らずに、しかも他県の方からその存在を教わるという事態に、少々もったいないことをしたな…。と、思いながら先日は城に佇んでおりました。

It was not supposed to be like this, and I rushed to clean the air conditioner the other day. Is Japan really becoming a country of two seasons instead of four? I was thinking that the comfortable time of the year is getting shorter and shorter, and that we really need to take good care of our activities.

 

Just as I was thinking that, I had a visitor from outside the Tokai area the other day.

I want to go here. I didn’t know about it. I didn’t know about the “Ruins of Naegi Castle” in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture. Well, I guess that’s what happens when you live nearby. I regret it a little.

 

Anyway, I hope the photos convey the dynamic nature of the site…. Let’s take a tour of Naegi Castle together.

 

Naegi Castle, a designated national historic site, was built on Mt. Takamori (432 meters) on the right bank of the Kiso River, which runs east to west through the city of Naegi, Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture. Its greatest feature is the stone wall incorporating huge rocks.

For those of you who have never been to Miaoli Castle, you will be proud to know that the Toyama Clan has ruled the area for 270 years since the Warring States period from the observation platform of the castle tower.

朝から強い日差しで真夏日が続出中。こちら名古屋もじりじりと太陽が照り付け、ただいまの気温３２度でございます。５月とは思えない暑さです。

まだまだ体が暑さに慣れておらず、５分ほど外にいるだけで頭がぼーっとしてきてしまいます。

外出中の方々、また部活動など外で活動されている方々、どうか万全な暑さ対策をとって熱中症に警戒してくださいね！

 

本日は、梅雨明けくらいにブログのネタにしようと考えておりました熱中症対策について少し早いですが取り上げたいと思います。

去年の夏は熱中症アラートなど自分の身の危険を感じてしまうほどの暑さを観測いたしました。屋外の方はもちろん、屋内の方も実は熱中症には気を付けなければいけないということを去年の夏のブログで取り上げたかと思います。

 

では熱中症を予防するにはどのような行動や対策をしなければならないのか少しまとめてみます。

まず熱中症対策グッズについて。もう皆さまご活用されているとは思いますが、日傘や帽子はもちろん最近定番化しているのが”携帯扇風機”です。

こちらは私も夏になると活用していますが、あるとないとでは全く違います。今は多機能な携帯扇風機などもありますのでぜひお持ちでない方はチェックしてみてください。

あとは塩分タブレットやスポーツドリンクですね。喉の渇きを感じた時にはすでに脱水症状が始まっているともいわれているくらい大切ですので皆さまお気をつけくださいね。

そしてやはり高温になった場合は無理な外出を控えたり、なるべく涼しいところでこまめに休憩を挟みながら過ごすようにしてください。今年も暑い時期を一緒に乗り切りましょう。

先日とてもおしゃれで落ち着く和カフェに行ってまいりました。

 

 

 

通りかかってずっと行きたかったお茶カフェがあったのですが、いざ予約していってみると・・・あれ、私が行こうと思っていたお店ではなかったのです。

 

しかし、行こうと思っていたカフェよりはるかにおしゃれで大人で落ち着く場所を見つけてしまいました。

 

まさか那古野町にお茶カフェが何個もあると思わなかったのです。

 

しかも食べたいと思っていたものは事前予約制でした。

 

通常の和菓子盛り合わせプレートも手が込んでいて、食べたことのない大人の味がしまして、かみしめておりました。

 

お茶もこだわりがすごくて、色々なお茶を試してみたくなりました。

 

個室やテーブルもあるみたいですが、カウンターの目の前で入れてくださるので、それを見るのも癒されます。

 

 

最中にブランデーをかけていただくのですが、お酒の飲めないNでもおもわず何回もかけてしまうくらいおいしかったです。

 

種類によって何杯か飲めるものがあり、２回目は温度を高くして違った風味を楽しむこともできるようです。

 

 

絶妙な角度の盆栽や、お抹茶の器もおしゃれで見入ってしまいました。

 

焼き物の作家さんのお皿も販売しておりました。

 

そういえば、可愛らしいアマビエの焼き物があったので、これも売り物なのか聞くのを忘れてしまいました。

 

茶器などにもこだわりがございましたので、古美術好きの方も喜ばれそうな場所でございました。

 

 

 

家にカフェが開けるくらい、茶器が揃っている方は多いのではないでしょうか。

 

押し入れの中にあるあなたの茶器がどこかで使われるかもしれません。

The other day, I went to a very stylish and relaxing Japanese cafe.

 

 

 

 

 

I was passing by a tea cafe that I had always wanted to go to, but when I made a reservation, it wasn’t the one I was thinking of going to.

 

 

However, I ended up finding a place that was much more stylish, mature and calming than the cafe I was thinking of going to.

 

 

I never thought that there were so many tea cafes in Nagoya town.

 

 

Moreover, what I wanted to eat was an advance reservation system.

 

 

The usual assorted Japanese confectionery plate was also elaborate, and it tasted like an adult that I had never eaten before.

 

 

The tea is also very picky, and I wanted to try various teas.

 

 

It seems that there are private rooms and tables, but it is soothing to see it because it is put in front of the counter.

 

 

 

Brandy is poured over it during the course, and it was so delicious that even though I can’t drink alcohol, I couldn’t help but drizzle it over and over again.

こんにちは、スタッフNでございます。

 

今日は母の日でございますね。

 

Nは配送が間に合わず、来週か再来週くらいにプレゼントが届く予定でございます。

 

兄弟に連絡したところ、すでに手配して当日に届くようにプレゼントを用意しているとのこと。

 

皆からということで渡そうと思ったのですが、さすがでございました。

 

留学生の子がカーネーションをプレゼントしたようで、私たち日本人よりもしっかりしていて素晴らしいです。

 

しかも、今のホストファミリーだけでなく、今までお世話になった方々にも渡していたようで、感動いたしました。

 

デンマークの株が爆上がりでございます。

 

結婚記念日も近かったようなので、皆でご飯を食べに行こうというと驚いた様子で「結婚記念日は夫婦２人で過ごすものだ」と留学生が言っておりました。

 

確かによく考えればそうなのですが、日本だとあまりそういう方を見ない気がいたします。

 

Ｎの周りだけかもしれませんが、家族単位でお祝いすることが多いかもしれません。

 

以前お話しましたが、最近の学校では「お母さん、お父さん」ではなく「お家の方」と呼ぶそうです。

 

となると、母の日父の日も違った呼び方になるのでしょうか？

 

 

親の日？家族の日？難しいですが、お世話になった方に感謝する日であることは間違いありません。

 

送る人がいない方も、頑張っている自分自身にカーネーションを送ってみてはいかがでしょうか。

 

そのほかにも、韓国ではイエローデーと言って、4月14日の「ブラックデー」を過ぎても恋人ができなかった男性は、この日に黄色い服を着てカレーライスを食べないと恋人ができないと言われているそうです。

 

あとは、ローズデーと言って、 2月14日のバレンタインデー、3月14日のホワイトデー、4月14日のブラックデーを経て、この日までにカップルになった男女が、この時期に満開となる薔薇を贈りあう日なんだとか。

 

今日は何の日で調べるとたくさん出てくるアジアの記念日、面白いです。

 

誰か、この日に片づけをして買取にお願いすると運気が上がる「買取デー」を制定してくれないかな、と思っておりましたら・・・

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

本日の名古屋どんよりした曇り、今月ほとんどの土・日曜日ともに天気が崩れるそうです。週末おでかけの方は天気予報に注意しながら良い１日をお過ごしください。

 

さて、昨晩は全国的に「きぼう」/国際宇宙ステーション（ISS）が見られるチャンスの日だったことご存じでしたか？

私も当日知ったため皆さまにお知らせすることができませんでしたが、きっと見られた方もいらっしゃるはずですよね。

国際宇宙ステーション（ISS）は、地上から約４００㎞上空に建設された実験施設で、「きぼう」は、その中の日本実験棟の名前だそうです。ISSはサッカー場くらいの大きさで、１周およそ９０分というスピードで地球の周りを回っていて、条件が揃えば地上から肉眼でも見ることができます。

 

ちなみに名古屋では２０時２６分頃から観察のチャンスということで私も昨日の夜は目を凝らして眺めていたらなにやら光っている物体を発見！

もしかしてと思い双眼鏡で確認してみると…惜しくも飛行機でして（笑）

この時間に夜空で光っているものはすべて国際宇宙ステーション（ISS）に見えてしまうというあるある現象が起こり始めまして、もう見えないかもしれないと思っていると…。

 

発見いたしました！！飛行機よりも圧倒的に速いスピードで動く明るい物体。

明らかにスピードも違ったため、きっと、いや絶対そうだったと思います。

国際宇宙ステーション（ISS）を地上から見るには３つの条件が必要となります。

まず１つ目に、”晴れていること”。天気は非常に大事ですよね。今日の夜でなくてよかったと安心しております。

そして２つ目に、”自分の上空をISSが通過すること”。ISSは同じ軌道を回っているそうですが、地球が自転によって回転しているためISSが通過する位置は変化しています。ちょうど私の上を通過してくれたので２つ目の条件もクリア。

さいごに３つ目は、”自分のいる場所は夜で、ISSが昼であること”。ISSは自分で光っているわけではなく、太陽の光を反射して明るく輝きます。ISSが地上から見えるためには、ISSには太陽の光が当たっていて、地上は夜となっていることが絶対条件になります。

昨晩はこれらの３つの条件が揃って肉眼で見ることができたというわけですね。見た目としては明るい星のような飛行機のような感じでしたが、なぜか少しだけ感動してしまいました。

By the way, did you know that last night was a day of chance to see “Kibo”/International Space Station (ISS) nationwide?

I also found out about it on the day, so I wasn’t able to tell everyone, but I’m sure there must be some people who have seen it.

The International Space Station (ISS) is an experimental facility built about 400 km above the ground, and “Kibo” is the name of the Japanese Experiment Module in it. The ISS is about the size of a soccer field and orbits the earth at a speed of about 90 minutes.

 

By the way, in Nagoya, I had a chance to observe from around 20:26.

I wondered if it was possible, and when I checked it with binoculars… unfortunately it was an airplane (laughs).

At this time of year, a phenomenon has begun to occur in which everything that is shining in the night sky can be seen as the International Space Station (ISS), and I thought that I might not be able to see it anymore…

 

I found it! ! A bright object that moves at an overwhelmingly faster speed than an airplane.

Obviously, the speed was different, so I’m sure, no, I definitely think so.

Three conditions are required to see the International Space Station (ISS) from the ground.

First of all, “It’s sunny”. Weather is very important. I’m relieved that I’m glad it wasn’t tonight.

And secondly, “the ISS will pass over me.” It seems that the ISS is orbiting the same orbit, but the position where the ISS passes is changing because the earth is rotating due to its rotation. It just passed over me, so the second condition was also cleared.

Finally, the third is that “where I am is at night and the ISS is daytime”. The ISS does not shine by itself, but shines brightly by reflecting the sunlight. In order for the ISS to be visible from the ground, it is an absolute requirement that the ISS is illuminated by sunlight and the ground is at night.

So you could see it with the naked eye last night under all three conditions. It looked like a bright star-like airplane, but for some reason I was a little impressed.

先ほど自販機で水を買ったところ、リアルゴールドが出てきました。

 

すぐカスタマーセンターに電話したのですが、場所がうまく伝えられず、もたもたしていると次の人が購入。

 

違うのが出てくるかもしれませんと伝えると、その方も水を押してリアルゴールドが出てきました。

 

この自販機の水はたぶんすべてリアルゴールドだということがわかり、ではリアルゴールドを押したら水が出るのか？

 

と色々考えておりました（笑）

 

 

自販機番号なるものを伝えればよかったのですが、ボロボロで数字が消えていて読めず。

 

 

急ぎだったのでそのまま帰りましたが、通常は返金してくださるそうです。

 

次の方も去り際に「私の分のお金ももらっといていいよ」と言ってくれましたが、Nももらえなかったため断念いたしました。

 

普段でしたら絶対買うことのないリアルゴールドを久しぶりに飲んだので、

新鮮でおいしかったです。

 

とんだ珍事件でしたが、帰りにリアルゴールドのおボタンを押してみようかと思い始めております。

5月12日の由来 近代看護を築いたフローレンス・ナイチンゲールの誕生日にちなみ、5月12日に制定されました。

 

1965年から、国際看護師協会(本部:ジュネーブ)は、この日を「国際看護師の日」に定めています。

 

日本看護協会をはじめとする看護関連団体や病院などが、 毎年各地で様々なイベントを開催しているそうです。

 

 

ナースコールは誰が開発したかご存じでしょうか？

 

 ナイチンゲールは自身が病院の運営を任された際にすでにナースコールの構想をしており、就任時にナースコールの原型である「弁付き呼鈴」の設置を要求したそうです。

 

 

さらに、彼女はクリミア戦争で戦死した兵士の状況を分析するために、死亡率や平均入院日数の計算などを用いた医療統計学を生み出しました。

 

棒グラフや円グラフが無い当時、現在でも使われている「レーダーチャート(蜘蛛の巣チャート)」や「鶏のとさかグラフ」も実はナイチンゲールが生み出したものなのです。

 

 

知っているようで知らないナイチンゲール、今回知ることができてよかったです。
