近年コロナの影響で家に居ることが多くなり、ペットを飼う人が増えたようですね。

ペットショップに行けば、猫や犬がいますが値段を見てみると需要が高まっているからか数年前より高くなっていると思います。もしかして、こちらのブログを見ている方の中にもペットを飼い、家族が増えたという方もいらっしゃるかもしれません。

 

その一方で、動物愛護団体などの方々はそれを危惧していますね。勢いで飼って、お世話の仕方を知らなかったり、飼育を放棄してしまうのではないかと…。

 

実はわたしも犬を飼っています。本当に可愛いです。友人には愛犬を可愛がることばかり考えてるよね？と言われてしまったこともあります。財布の中にお金が入っていると、犬のおやつを買って帰ってきてしまいます。もう１１歳になりますが、今も昔も変わらず愛くるしいです。ですが長生きしてほしいので、おやつはあげても指定の体重を越えないようにしています。可愛くおねだりされるとあげたくなるのですが、そこは我慢…。

 

わたしはペットを飼って後悔をしたことはありません。日常の中で彼らのためにしなければいけないことは増えますが、それ以上の癒しをくれます。

 

皆さまの中にも何かペット飼っている方はいらっしゃいますか？

ペットを飼っている方々はそのペットを家族とみなしますよね。ある人にとっては兄、姉であり、ある人にとっては弟、妹、人によっては妻、子供だとおっしゃるかもしれません。どちらにしろ愛される存在ですね。

 

きっと何かペットを飼うときに、その「何」かをとても迷われると思います。犬なのか、猫なのか、またはもっと違う生き物なのか…。

現代では様々な動物を個人で飼育ができるようになってきていますね。

え！この生き物個人で飼えるの！？と思うものまでいます。

今日はそんな生き物を少し紹介しますね。

 

まず一つ目は、クジャクです。

驚きますよね。確かに鳥をペットとして飼う人は多いと思います。ある意味クジャクもその中に入るというような感じだと思います。日本国内のショップで購入して飼育する分には許可や手続きなどは必要ないようです。

 

二つ目は、ワラビーです。

ワラビーとは？となっている方もいますよね。

ワラビーとは小型のカンガルーで動物園などで見ることが出来ます。

ペットとして実際に飼っている人もいるようです。

 

三つ目は、アルパカです。

そうです、あのクリクリの目に長いまつげふわふわもこもこに包まれたあの生き物です。

サイズもかなり大きいですよね…。

日本では唯一生産、販売を行っている牧場があるようで、ペットとして飼育することが出来るようです。また、草食動物のため一匹ではなく多頭飼いする方が良いそうで、飼育はかなり大変になりますね。

 

日本でペットとして飼える動物を三つ紹介しましたが、もちろん犬や猫に比べると飼育が大変で、多頭飼いするのが望ましいものや、広大な土地が必要であったり、餌代だけで月に十万円ほど必要な動物もいます。このように大変なので、ペットとして個人で飼育している方は少ないですが、ある意味覚悟して購入する方が多いと思うのでそこはいいなと思いました。

On the other hand, people such as animal welfare organizations are worried about it. I wonder if they keep it with momentum and don’t know how to take care of it or abandon it.

Actually, I also have a dog. It’s really cute. You’re just thinking about loving your dog to your friends, right? I have been told that. If you have money in your wallet, you will buy a dog treat and come home. I’m 11 years old now, but I’m still lovely now and in the past. However, I want them to live longer, so I try not to exceed the specified weight even if I give them snacks. I want to give it when I’m begged for it cutely, but I have to put up with it …

I have never regretted having a pet. There’s more work to do for them in their daily lives, but it’s more healing.

Nowadays, it is becoming possible to raise various animals individually.

Huh! You can keep this creature individually! ?? There are even things that I think.

Today I would like to introduce a few such creatures.

The first is the peacock.

You will be surprised. I’m sure there are many people who keep birds as pets. In a sense, I think peacocks are among them. It seems that no permission or procedure is required for purchasing and breeding at shops in Japan.

The second is a wallaby.

What is a wallaby? Some people have become.

A wallaby is a small kangaroo that can be seen at zoos.

It seems that some people actually keep them as pets.

The third is alpaca.

That’s right, that creature is wrapped in fluffy, long eyelashes.

The size is also quite large …

It seems that there is only one farm in Japan that produces and sells, and it seems that it can be bred as a pet. Also, since it is a herbivore, it is better to keep multiple animals instead of one, so breeding will be quite difficult.

I introduced three animals that can be kept as pets in Japan, but of course it is more difficult to raise than dogs and cats, it is desirable to keep multiple animals, a vast land is required, and only the food cost is enough for the month. Some animals cost about 100,000 yen. Since it is such a difficult task, few people keep it as a pet individually, but I think that many people are prepared to buy it in a sense, so I thought it was good.
