お正月やお祝い事、季節行事のお料理などを盛り付けると、存在感のあるこのお皿がより華を添えてくれそうですね。

染付青磁の色合いが夏向きでもあると思い、ここ風光舎のすぐお隣「ロンドンカップケーキ」さんのカップケーキとパシャリ。

このようにザ・洋菓子との異文化コラボでもよく合います。

そしてイギリスといえば、アフタヌーンティーの習慣でしょうか。

イギリスの方たちの１日は紅茶とともにある_皆さまもよくご存じのことかと思います。

今は日本でもカフェやホテルのラウンジでのアフタヌーンティーが人気で、召し上がる時間よりもその可愛さをスマホに収める方に時間を掛けていらっしゃる方が多かったりして⁈

海外へ行けない時世でも、世界中のスイーツが味わえるのは気分を上げてくれます。

本場イギリスでは、朝起きてすぐにベッドの中で飲む紅茶をアーリーモーニングティーと言ったり、午前１１時頃のちょっとした休憩に飲む紅茶はイレブンジズと呼ばれたり、飲む時間帯によって細かく呼び名が分けられているようです。

したがってアフタヌーンティーとは、午後４時頃に来客があり、ケーキやサンドウィッチ、スコーンといった軽食とともに紅茶を飲みながら楽しむという社交の場のことを言います。

ちなみに英国王室で用意されるサンドウィッチの形は、（日本では普通にありますが）四角形では柩の形に似ていて縁起がわるいという理由から、必ず角が落とされ八角形になっているとのこと。

アンティークのテーブルやミラーは八角形のものを見つけることが多いですが、サンドウィッチまで縁起のいいものに変えるとはさすがの徹底ぶりです。

ならば最初に述べた伊万里の六角皿なら、２角足りませんが大目に見て取り入れてくれるでしょうか笑。

Even when you can’t go abroad, you can enjoy sweets from all over the world.

In the UK, the tea you drink in bed immediately after waking up in the morning is called early morning tea, and the tea you drink for a short break around 11:00 am is called elevenges. It seems.

Therefore, afternoon tea is a social place where visitors come around 4 pm and enjoy drinking tea with light meals such as cakes, sandwiches, and scones.

By the way, the shape of the sandwich prepared by the British royal family is always octagonal with the corners dropped because it is similar to the shape of a coffin in a quadrangle (although it is common in Japan) and it is unlucky. ..

I often find octagonal antique tables and mirrors, but it’s a good idea to change sandwiches to auspicious ones.

お隣のロンドンカップケーキさんを見るといつも連想するのが、映画「マリー・アントワネット」（2006年）に出てくるパステルカラーのスイーツの数々です。

日本のお菓子ではあまり見かけない可愛い色合いが映えて、特に若い方たちに人気なのでしょう。

もっぱら、映画「マリーアントワネット」に登場するのですから、ロンドンカップケーキではなく、ラデュレのマカロンやルリジューズと呼ばれるスイーツなのですが…。

この映画は１０年以上前に一度観たきりなのですが、それでも印象に残り、映画を象徴する冒頭シーンとなっているのが夢の世界のようなこぼれんばかりの美しいケーキの数々だと思います。

これぞ女子！と言わんばかりの帽子や扇、華奢な靴などの小物たちもパステルカラーの洪水だったと記憶しています。

残念ながら映画の内容自体は、アントワネットのイメージがまたも崩されたとの非難を浴びたようで…。

史実に基づいた作品というより、ひとつの娯楽として楽しむよう作られた意図があったのかもしれません。

カップケーキひとつから始まった今日の個人的空想トリップですが、イギリスからドーバー海峡を越えてフランスへ__

美術品がお好きな方、フランスといえばやはりルーヴル美術館でしょうか。

以前は人の波が有名で、一度では堪能しきれないので何度も訪れたくなる…魅了される名作が溢れる美術館ですが、今はおうち美術館で楽しむときです。

前にも紹介したかもしれませんが、ルーヴル美術館公式サイトを是非のぞいてみてください。

（今は一瞬で翻訳してくれるので身近に感じられ、ありがたいですね。）

おうちにいながらバーチャルツアーなど、いろいろな形で作品を楽しめるよう工夫されているので、ちょっとルーヴルの雰囲気をチャージしたい時にはいいかもしれません。

Podcastでの説明（物語）などもありますが、こちらはフランス語のみの配信のようなので、いくつかの単語しか知らないスタッフ I 、こういう時に悔やまれます泣。

 

ルーヴル美術館から派生し、いくつもの賞を受賞されている漫画家・荒木飛呂彦さんの超人気代表作『ジョジョの奇妙な冒険』シリーズの中に「岸辺露伴 ルーヴルへ行く」（2011年）という作品があります。

ルーヴル美術館とフランスの出版社・フュチュロポリス社が2005年より実施してきたＢＤ（バンド・デシネ）プロジェクトの第５弾として発表された荒木氏の初のフルカラー漫画作品であります。

（バンド・デシネとは、“第９の芸術”とも呼ばれ、フランス語圏で広く読まれる芸術性の高いストーリー漫画のことで、北米のアメコミなどとはちょっと性質が異なるようです）

ルーヴルからお声がかかるということは、荒木先生の作品はもはや芸術の域と捉えられている証拠でしょう。

独特の作風が年代を全く感じさせず、現代っ子たちからも支持されているのは秀逸な作品だけが成せるわざかと思います。

我が家のまだ大人ではない家族のひとりがノベライズ作品も含め”大人買い”するほどハマるジョジョの世界観。

この企画はＢＤという切り口を通して、より広くルーヴルの魅力を伝えようというプロジェクトだったとのことで、日本文化の偉業がさらに世界へ広がったことになりますね。

漫画はおうちでもどこでもすぐ手に取れるエンターテイメントかと思います。

真夏の暑い日でも、クリックひとつでスイーツでも漫画本でもなんでも自宅に届けてくれる有難いシステム。

工夫次第でちょっとした海外気分も味わえるかと…。

しかしここまで来たら、今年は何といってもTOKYOですね！会場での応援は叶わなくても、好きなものでいっぱい囲んで今夏の一大イベント”おうち観戦”を盛り上げたいです。

It is devised so that you can enjoy the work in various ways such as virtual tours while staying at home, so it may be good when you want to charge the atmosphere of the Louvre a little.

There is also an explanation (story) on the podcast, but this seems to be delivered only in French, so Staff I, who knows only a few words, regrets at such times.

 

There is a work called “Going to the Louvre with Rohan Kishibe” (2011) in the super popular masterpiece “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” series by Hirohiko Araki, a cartoonist who has been derived from the Louvre Museum and has won several awards. ..

This is Mr. Araki’s first full-color manga work announced as the fifth BD (Bande dessinée) project carried out by the Louvre Museum and the French publisher Futuropolis since 2005.

(Bande dessinée, also known as the “9th art,” is a highly artistic story manga that is widely read in the French-speaking world, and seems to be a little different from the American comics in North America.)

The fact that the Louvre calls out is proof that Dr. Araki’s work is no longer regarded as a realm of art.

His unique style does not make you feel the age at all, and I think that it is only excellent works that are supported by modern children.

Jojo’s world view is so addictive that one of my family members who are not yet adults buys “adults” including novelized works.

It is said that this project was a project to convey the charm of the Louvre more widely through the perspective of BD, which means that the feat of Japanese culture has spread to the world.

I think manga is an entertainment that you can easily get at home or anywhere.

Even on a hot summer day, a system that delivers sweets, comic books, and anything else to your home with a single click.

I wonder if I can enjoy a little overseas feeling depending on my ingenuity.
