愛知県稲沢市にあります大塚山性海寺の境内内に整備された「大塚山性海寺歴史公園」です。豊富な文化財を楽しみながら、花と緑が楽しめる公園として、「あじさい」の名所としても有名です。かつての集落の中のどこか懐かしい風景の中にある性海寺、大塚山性海寺歴史公園ですが、平日だったからでしょうか、人も少なく贅沢にもゆっくりと巡ることができ、誰にも邪魔されずに写真を撮りたいは、チャンスです。公園には、「紅」「花火」「城ヶ崎」「甘茶」などの日本のアジサイと「アナベル」「八重咲カシワバアジサイ」などの酉洋のアジサイが植栽されています。シーズンには約90種1万株を数えるアジサイが、さまざまな表情の花を咲かせ、息を飲むような芙しさで園内を彩ります。ここの公園は、新品種のが多いと思われますので、紫好きのかた、の方、宜しいかと思います。
