大掃除というとまだまだ年末年始のイメージですよね。
欧米では春季大掃除（スプリング・クリーニング）が一般的で、
使い終わった暖炉を煙突まで綺麗にする習慣から由来するのだとか。
最近では日本でも寒い冬より、気候の良い時期がおススメされてます。

私事ですが、スタッフＴは春の大掃除の真最中です。
家人が部屋を替わることになり、久しぶりに本棚から机から大移動させました！
 
すると出てくるわ出てくるわ！
想い出の品々が．．．
そうこれはエジプトの鍋！

(正確にはエジプト人ご家族が帰国の際にいただいた鍋です。)

ちょうど今年２０２１年は明日４月13日（火）から
イスラム教のラマダン(断食月）が始まります。
その間１ヵ月近く、日中は飲食しないのです。
（ただし子どもは日中も食事を許されていました。）
スタッフＴの子どもが保育園時代、お向かいのお宅は中国から来た御家族、
斜め向かいはアメリカから、階下はロシアから、
保育園では同じ桃組さんにバングラデッシュ、エジプト、韓国．．．、
と本当に国際色豊かでした！
 
小学生になって名古屋市内で転校したのに、
そこでもやっぱり同級生にロシア人、エジプト人．．．。
あるエジプトから来たばかりの御家族の
日本での生活のお手伝いをした際に、
ラマダン明けの祭り（イード）に招待されたことがありました。
（思えばちょうどNYのテロ事件が起きた後で、
イスラム教に対する偏見から色々なご苦労がありました。
子どもたちは、また遠慮がないですからね。）
初めてモスクを訪れた時の、祈りの場の神聖な雰囲気が心に残ってます。
名古屋は日本で初めてモスクが建てられた場所なのだそうですよ。
（現在の建物は戦後に建てられたもの）

そこでは１日５回の礼拝やイスラームの聖日である金曜日の集団礼拝が
イマームの先導のもとで行われています。
土曜日や日曜日には、勉強会やお茶会などの各種集会が開かれ、
名古屋市とその周辺地域のムスリムの生活相談や情報交換の拠点にもなっています。
２００２年　宗教法人格を取得し、外国人ムスリムをサポートしつつ、
年々増え続ける日本人ムスリムへの対応にも努めています。
イスラームについて学びたいという一般の方々には、
正しく知っていただくための活動も行っているとのことです。

まだまだ出てくる中国の凧・茶碗・壺！
ロシアのマトリョーシカ！
いただいた方々との大切な絆
自分では捨てられません。
一緒に棺桶に入れてもらおうかな。

During that time, I don’t eat or drink during the day for almost a month.
(However, children were allowed to eat during the day.)
When the child of Staff T was a nursery school, the house opposite was Chinese.
Americans diagonally opposite, Russians downstairs,
At the nursery school, the same Momogumi, Bangladeshi, Egyptian, Korean,

Even though I became an elementary school student and transferred to Nagoya city

When I helped with my life in Japan
I have been invited to the festival after Ramadan (Eid).
(If you think about it, just after the NY incident happened, there were various difficulties due to prejudice.
Children are not hesitant again. )
At that time, I visited the mosque for the first time, and the sacred atmosphere of the place of prayer remains in my mind.
Nagoya is the first place in Japan where a mosque was built.
(The current building was built after the war)

There are five worship services a day and group worship on Friday, the holy day of Islam.
It is carried out under the leadership of Imam.
Various meetings such as study sessions and tea parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays.
It is also a base for life consultation and information exchange for Muslims in and around Nagoya City.
In 2002, acquired the status of a religious corporation and supported foreign Muslims while supporting them.
We are also striving to respond to the ever-increasing number of Japanese Muslims.
For the general public who want to learn about Islam
It is said that they are also engaged in activities to get people to know Islam correctly.
