以前にも、ブログにてご近所をご紹介いたしましたが、

ここ古美術風光舎名古屋店のあります千種区城山近辺は、歴史の古い趣きのある地区。

城山八幡宮を始め、お寺さんなどがたくさんある地区なんです。

城山八幡宮がある城山の森一帯には、その名の通り、信長の父織田信秀が築いた末森城があった地。

つまり神社でもあり、城址でもあるというなんともロマン溢れる場所なのです。

末森城は織田家のお家騒動によりは1548年に築城されるも、1558年には廃城となってしまいます。

わずか10年で廃城になってしまいましたが、

明治になり、末森村にあった浅間社・山神社・一ノ御前社・白山社を八幡社に合祀します。

その後、末森城跡地が八幡社の所有地となり、昭和11年（1936年）に八幡社が現在の場所へと遷座されたようです。そして、末森城の名は今でも、近くに通っています〝末盛通〟としてその名は残っています。

 

 

 

城山八幡宮のみならずここ城山一帯は小高い山の小径に沿って神社仏閣がひっそりと点在しており、

今日は雨上がりでもあったので、しっとりしたお寺の風景を横目に通ってきました。

古美術風光舎名古屋店の裏にある静かな坂をゆっくりと少し登っていくと、坂の中腹あたりでしょうか、

相応寺の大きな山門が現われます。

 

寛永二十年、尾張藩祖徳川義直が、母相応院おかめの方の菩提のために建立されたそうです。

元々は、東区山口町にあったのですが、昭和の初めにこの地に移されたとか。山門や本堂が前の小径に対しとても大きいので、なるほどそういうことかと納得。しかも本堂は、寛永二十年創建当時のものなんですね。

山門から金堂もさらに石の階段を登らねばなりません。

登りきると、ちょうど眼前には覚王山方面。

この城山の斜面に拝する金堂からは、きっと昔は、覚王山の辺りまで豊かな風景が見渡せていたのではないでしょうか。

今は、姫池通り沿いのビルやマンションがすぐ目の前に見え、通りを行き交う車の音などの風景が。

しかし、一旦この城山の地区にひとたび足を踏み入れると、行き交う車の音もなく、静かな小径にお寺の風景と間近に迫る街の風景が。

時代の移り変わりを一気に見ているようです。(カメラマンＹの腕がよくないので、お伝えしきれないのが残念）

 

 

雨あがりの苔むした石の階段を下りながら、いつまでも残っていてほしい地区だなと思う朝でした。

The area around Shiroyama, Chikusa-ku, where the antique art Fukosha Nagoya store is located, is an old district.

It is a district with many temples, including Shiroyama Hachimangu.

As the name suggests, Suemori Castle was built by Nobunaga’s father, Oda Nobuhide, in the Shiroyama Forest area where Shiroyama Hachimangu is located.

In other words, it is a place full of romance that it is both a shrine and a castle ruin.

Suemori Castle was built in 1548 due to the Oda clan’s house turmoil, but it will be abandoned in 1558.

It was abandoned in just 10 years,

In the Meiji era, the Asama shrine, Yama Shrine, Ichino Gozen shrine, and Hakusan shrine in Suemori village are enshrined in Hachiman shrine.

After that, the site of Suemori Castle became the property of Hachiman Shrine, and in 1936, Hachiman Shrine was relocated to its current location.

It seems. And the name of Suemori Castle still remains as “Suemoritori”, which is still nearby.

Not only Shiroyama Hachimangu, but also here in Shiroyama, shrines and temples are quietly scattered along the small diameter of a small mountain.

If you climb the quiet slope behind the Fukosha Nagoya store a little slowly, it will be around the middle of the slope.

The big gate of Sooji Temple appears.

It is said that Yoshinao Tokugawa, the founder of the Owari clan, was built in the 20th year of Kanei for the bodhi of the mother-in-law.

Originally it was in Yamaguchi-cho, Higashi-ku, but it was moved to this place at the beginning of the Showa period. For the small diameter in front of the mountain gate and main hall

It’s so big, that’s right, and the main hall was built in the 20th year of Kanei.

From the mountain gate, Kondo also has to climb the stone stairs.

When you finish climbing, you will see the direction of Mt. Kakuo right in front of you.

From the Kondo worshiping on the slope of Mt. Shiroyama, I’m sure that in the olden days, you couldn’t see the rich scenery up to Mt. Kakuo.

Now, you can see the buildings and condominiums along Himeike-dori right in front of you, and the scenery of the sounds of cars passing through the street is right in front of you.

However, once you step into this Shiroyama area, there is no sound of cars passing by, and the scenery of the temple is quiet and small.

It seems that the scenery of the city that is approaching is watching the changing times at once. (Because photographer Y’s skill is not good
