先日３回目のおみくじを引きましたら、やっと大吉が出ました。

 

中吉、小吉、と出て納得が行かず、３度目の正直でございました。

 

無理矢理な気も致しますが、自分で運気を引き寄せるということで、今年は大吉の年として過ごそうと思います。

 

 

今日、マナカで電車に乗りましたら、残高が６６６６円になりました。

 

ゾロ目は珍しいのでなにか特別なことがあるかもと調べてみましたら、エンジェルナンバーというものが出てきました。

 

「6666」が意味することは、お金や物といった物質的なものに執着して本当に大切な「心」というものを見失っているということで、内面的なバランスが崩れる前兆でもあるそうです。

 

 

目に見える人や物を手に入れようとする気持ちを、いったん手放してみて、持っていない物から意識が離れると、今持っている物の価値や大切さに意識を向けることができるようになるそうです。

 

執着を自然に手放すことができ、無意識のうちに『足るを知る』ことができるのだとか。

 

『足るを知る』とは、古代中国の思想家の老子が説いた、人生を豊かに生きるための考え方のことでございます。

 

満足する方法や状態を知っている人は、たとえ高価な物や財産を持っていなくても心を豊かに保てます。

他にも『中庸』という言葉が出てきました。

 

『中庸』とは、中国の思想家の孔子が「最高の徳」と説いた概念のことでございます。

 

似た意味でよく知られていることわざに『過ぎたるは及ばざるがごとし』がありますね。

 

そこで中庸について調べてみました。

 

 

中庸は「ちゅうよう」と読みます。

 

対立するふたつの意見があるとき、一方にかたよって取り入れるのではなく、両方のいい点をバランスよく取り入れるような考え方を中庸といいます。

 

 

中庸の言葉の由来は孔子の論語にあります。

少しスピリチュアルな感じになってしまいましたが、ゾロ目でラッキーと思っていたのが、孔子からの注意喚起だったとは。

 

６がたくさん並ぶと確かに悪魔のイメージがありますよね。

 

論語の「中庸の徳たるや、それ至れるかな」という文章が由来しているようでございます。

 

これは「中庸の道は徳の指標として最高のもの」との意味があります。

 

中庸の道とはどのような道なのでしょうか。

 

孔子の言葉を解釈する必要がありますが、解釈には幅があり絶対の正解はありません。

 

「中庸の道とは」と正解を考えることが思考の鍛錬になり、学びにつながっていくのではないでしょうか。

 

 

また儒学の四書の「論語」「大学」中庸「孟子」のなかで中庸は儒学の考え方で特に重要とされております。

 

中庸は孔子の孫にあたる子思(しし)が書いたとされている経書でございます。

 

 

中庸では「天命を知る」という教えがあります。天から与えられた性を育むことが人として完成する方法とされているのです。

道とは目標を達成するために進む過程のことで、目標へ到着するための道をはずれないように学問で学ぶといった内容です。

 

生まれながらに与えられた天命を知らなければ、どのように進んでいくかわからず、道を踏み外してしまいます。天命を知ることが中庸を学ぶ意義であるとされているのです。

 

 

中庸においての「誠」とは自分にも他人にも嘘偽りのない心。「真心」に近い言葉です。孔子は誠の心こそが天の道であると説いています。

 

孔子は15歳のときに立派な人間になるために学問を始めますが、70歳になってやっと、自らが思うままに言動をしても道理に背かなくなったと語ったそうです。「自分が思ったままに行動しても、道徳からはずれない」そんな自由な境地に到達することが中庸を学ぶ目的といえます。

 

 

古代ギリシャの哲学者、アリストテレスの思想が書かれた「ニコマコス倫理学」にメソテースという「中間」の意味がある言葉が出てきます。

英訳では「Golden Mean」と表記され、日本語では中庸と儒教用語で訳されました。

 

アリストテレスが説いた中庸の概念は「超過と不足を避ける行為が倫理的な徳である」とされています。

 

超過と不足を足して2で割った状態がバランスのとれた中庸の状態であるという考え方です。たとえば、「勇気」は無謀(超過)と臆病(不足)の間の中庸の状態であると考えます。

 

孔子の中庸は「常に発揮できるか」を重視しているのに対して、アリストテレスの中庸は「最適な状態でいる」ことを重視しているという点に両者の違いがあります。

 

中庸の類語と対義語を調べてみました。

中庸の類語といえるのは「節制」「頃合い」「中道」などがあります。

 

■節制

「度を越さないように控えめにする」「規律正しく統制がとれている」といった意味がある「節制」は、「かたよりがない」という意味で中庸の類語といえます。

■頃合い

頃合いは「ちょうどよい程度」「適当な時機」などの意味がある言葉です。「ちょうどよい」といった点では中庸の類語といえます。中庸には時機のようなタイミングを限定する意味はないので、「ちょうどよい時機」という意味では類語としては使えません。

■中道

上記の「節制」「頃合い」と比較するとあまり馴染みのない言葉かもしれません。中道とは「一方にかたよらない考え方」「中正な道」といった意味を持つ言葉で、仏教用語でもあります。

中庸の類語といえる言葉ですが、「中道」は政治的な立場をあらわす場合に使われることが多いです。

中庸の対義語にあたる言葉は下記のようなものがあります。

• 極度 (程度のはなはだしいこと)
• 極端 (普通の程度から大きく離れている状態)
• 不当 (正当ではない、適当ではない、道理に合わない)
• ラジカル (極端なさま、過激なさま)

どれも中庸のかたよりがない状態とは反対の意味を持っている言葉です。

 

中庸は日常的に使う言葉ではないので、形容詞として使う際に、違和感を抱くことがあるかもしれません。「中庸の徳」のように「徳」を形容するなど、使う場面は限られています。

 

 

実は、この「中庸」と「足るを知る」は小さい頃から何回も言われておりまして、今日また思い出すことができて良かったです。

Today, when I got on the train at Manaka, my balance was 6666 yen.

 

Zoro eyes are rare, so when I looked into it to see if there was something special, I found something called an angel number.

 

What “6666” means is that you are obsessed with material things such as money and things and lose sight of the truly important “mind”, which is also a sign of a collapse of internal balance.

 

 

 

Once you let go of the desire to acquire things or people you can see with your own eyes, once your consciousness separates from the things you don’t have, you can turn your attention to the value and importance of the things you do have. It seems to be

 

You can naturally let go of your attachments, and you can unconsciously “know contentment”.

 

“Knowing Sufficiency” is a way of thinking about how to live a fulfilling life, as preached by the ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu.

 

A person who knows how to be content and how to be content can keep his mind rich even if he doesn’t have anything of value or possessions.

Another word is “moderation”.

 

“Moderation” is a concept that the Chinese philosopher Confucius preached as “the highest virtue.”

 

Don’t live in extremes, always be moderate.

 

A well-known proverb with a similar meaning is “Too much is like less”.

 

Too much is just as bad as too little.

 

So he investigated the moderation.

 

 

 

Moderation is read as “chuyo”.

 

Moderation is a way of thinking that, when there are two conflicting opinions, rather than leaning on one side, it incorporates the good points of both in a balanced manner.

 

 

 

The origin of the word “middle way” is in the Analects of Confucius.

I felt a little spiritual, but I thought that I was lucky with Zoro eyes, but it was a warning from Confucius.

 

If there are many 6s lined up, there is certainly an image of the devil.

 

It seems to be derived from the sentence in the Analects of Confucius, “Is it possible to achieve the virtue of moderation?”

 

This means that “the path of moderation is the best indicator of virtue”.

 

What kind of road is the middle way?

 

It is necessary to interpret the words of Confucius, but there is a wide range of interpretations and there is no absolute correct answer.

 

Thinking about the correct answer, “What is the path of the middle way?” will be a discipline of thinking and will lead to learning.

 

 

 

Among the four books of Confucianism, “The Analects,” “University,” and “Mencius,” moderation is particularly important in Confucian thinking.

 

Zhongyong is a scripture said to have been written by Zi Si, the grandson of Confucius.

 

 

 

In the moderation, there is a teaching to “know the destiny”. Developing the sex given from heaven is considered to be the way to perfection as a person.

The road is the process of progressing toward achieving a goal, and is the content of learning through learning so as not to deviate from the path to reach the goal.

 

If you don’t know your destiny that you were born with, you don’t know how to proceed, and you go astray. It is said that knowing the destiny is the significance of learning the moderation.

 

 

 

“Sincerity” in moderation means a heart that is true to yourself and others. It is a word close to “sincerity”. Confucius said that sincerity is the way to heaven.

 

Confucius began studying at the age of 15 in order to become a respectable person, but he said that it was not until the age of 70 that he could say and do what he wanted without being unreasonable. That’s right. It can be said that the purpose of learning the moderation is to reach such a free state that “even if you act as you think, you will not deviate from morality.”

 

 

 

In the Nicomachean Ethics, in which the thoughts of the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle are written, the word mesothes, which means “middle”, appears.

In the English translation, it was written as “Golden Mean”, and in Japanese, it was translated in Confucian terms.

 

The concept of moderation preached by Aristotle is said to be “the act of avoiding excess and deficiency is an ethical virtue.”

 

It is a way of thinking that the state where the surplus and the shortage are added and divided by 2 is the state of balance. For example, we consider “courage” to be the middle ground between recklessness (excess) and timidity (deficiency).

 

The difference between the two is that Confucius’s moderation emphasizes “can you always demonstrate”, while Aristotle’s moderation emphasizes “being in the optimum state”.

 

I looked up the synonyms and antonyms of moderation.

 

The synonyms of moderation include “moderation”, “moderation”, and “middle way”.

 

■ Abstinence

“Temperance”, which means “to be modest so as not to go overboard” or “to be disciplined and controlled”, can be said to be a synonym for “moderate” in the sense of “without bias”.

■ Time

Timing is a word with meanings such as “just the right amount” and “appropriate timing.” In terms of “just right,” it can be said to be a synonym for moderate. Moderation does not have the meaning of limiting timing like timing, so it cannot be used as a synonym for “just the right time.”

It is a word that can be said to be a synonym for moderation, but “middle way” is often used to express a political position.

 

Here are some words that are synonymous with moderate:

extreme
Extreme (very far from normal)
unfair (unjustified, improper, unreasonable)
radical (extreme, extreme)

All of these words have the opposite meaning of the state of being moderate and unbiased.

 

Moderation is not a word we use every day, so you may feel uncomfortable when using it as an adjective. It is used in limited situations, such as describing “virtue” like “moderate virtue”.

 

 

 

In fact, since I was little, I’ve been told this “moderation” and “know sufficiency” many times.

皆様こんにちは、スタッフNでございます。

 

先日、滋賀県で日吉大社で厄払いをしてまいりました。

 

なぜ日吉大社かというと、知人の近所だからでございます。

 

本当は京都伏見稲荷大社に行きたかったのですが、雨女のNのせいで毎回会う日は雨なのです。

 

 

そしてこのブログを書いている今も雨が降っております。

 

まあ、雨の日はお気に入りの傘が使えるので嬉しいですけどね。

 

厄払い、人生で初かもしれません。

 

もしかしたら、昔にしたかもしれませんが、自分の意思で厄払いに来るというのはなかったのではと、ふと思い出しました。

 

Nは厳正な儀式は苦手なので、あの抑揚のない声で祝詞の名前を言われた際に少しおもしろくなってしまいました。

 

しかし、まじめにやらないと罰が当たりそうなので、こらえつつ集中して厄払いを終えてまいりました。

 

水みくじがありましたので、やってみましたが、小吉だったので枝に結んでおきました。

 

ちなみに知人は末吉だったので、やはり私たちは厄年なんだと実感致しました。

 

でもたった今厄払いをしたから大丈夫、という結論にいたり、美味しいパスタを食べて帰宅致しました。

 

そういえば、そのパスタ屋さんでドラマのように豪快に店員さんに水をこぼされまして（笑）

 

こ、これで新幹線に乗って愛知に帰るのか！？と一瞬戸惑いましたが、服も乾かしていただいたので、無事帰宅致しました。

 

スープではなくて水だったので良かったです。

 

それに、こうしてブログのネタにもなったので、一石二鳥だと考えることにいたします。

 

 

日吉大社と言えば、映画「るろうに剣心」で主人公が新井赤空から“逆刃刀”を授かるシーンが撮影されたロケ地でもあるそうです。

 

ぐねんとなった印象的な松は、るろ剣以外にも色々なロケ地として使われたとのこと。

 

初めて観る木の形にNも興味津々でございました。

 

 

なぜこんな形になったのか知人と延々と話しておりましたが、答えが出ず。

ご存知の方おりましたら、是非教えてください。

 

初めて行った日吉大社、なぜかとても心地よく、ずっとここにいたい空気が美味しい、不思議な感覚に会いました。

 

後から調べてみると、自分と相性のいい神社の属性というのがあるそうで、それが日吉大社でございました。

 

ちなみにNは愛知県だと名古屋城と相性がいいそうです。

 

逆に相性が悪いのは熱田神宮と伊勢神宮だそうで、年末にも行きましたし、好きな神社なので少し残念です。

 

 

 

厄払いの際に行う、「玉串奉奠」と言う「玉串を神様にお供えする」儀式はご存知でしょうか。

 

こちら玉串奉奠（たまぐしほうてん）と言いまして、玉串とは、神さまが宿るとされる榊（さかき）という木の枝に、紙垂（しで）や麻を結びつけたもので、「奉奠」は辞書を引いてみると、「つつしんで供える」という意味だそうです。

 

玉串奉奠は、「神道」の儀式であることも特徴でございます。

 

たとえば、神道の決まりにのっとった通夜やご葬儀では、「ご焼香」のかわりに玉串奉奠が行われます。

 

きっと細かな作法などあるのでしょうが、初めてだったもので神主の言う通りに行いましたが、あれが正しかったかはわかりません。

 

滋賀県大津市にある「日吉大社」は全国に三千以上ある山王神社の総本宮でございます。

 

また、平安京から見ると鬼門の方角に位置することから方除け・厄除けのご利益で信仰を集めています。

 

『神猿（まさる）』という名で知られる猿が神の使いで、魔除けの象徴となっています。

 

そもそも猿は全国に生息しておりますが、何故か古来より日吉といえば猿といわれ、いつの頃からか魔除けの象徴として大切に扱われるようになりました。

 

「まさる」は「魔が去る」「勝る」に通じ、大変縁起のよいお猿さんだそうです。

 

猿は古く境内で飼われており、既に室町時代の記録にも登場するそうです。

 

江戸時代の絵図等には「猿飼所」「猿厩」が記されています。『日吉山王権現知新記』の記録では、神猿さんの食費として「一石（いっこく）」（大人一人が一年に食べる米の量）の予算（俸禄？？）が当てられています。

 

狭い折にいれられて可哀想だと少し思いましたが、お給料を貰っているみたいでよかったです。

 

 

境内には3000本のもみじがあり、関西屈指の紅葉名所として知られています。

 

見頃は毎年11月10日頃〜12月上旬となっているそうなので、また秋頃の日吉大社も見てみたいですね。

 

約40のお社があり、全ての神様を総称して「日吉大神」と呼ぶそうです。

 

日吉大社は、崇神天皇によって７年に創祀されたということなので、2100年以上の歴史を有しているということになります。

 

平安京に遷都後は、都である京都の鬼門・北東にあたることから、鬼門除けや災難除けとして崇敬されてきました。

Actually, I wanted to go to Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, but it rains every time we meet because of N, the rain girl.

 

 

 

And it is still raining as I write this blog.

 

Well, I’m happy that I can use my favorite umbrella on rainy days.

 

Exorcism, it may be the first time in my life.

 

I may have done it in the past, but I suddenly remembered that I didn’t come to exorcise myself.

 

N is not good at formal ceremonies, so it was a little funny when he said the name of the Norito in that uninflected voice.

 

However, if I don’t do it seriously, I’m going to be punished, so I’ve been concentrating and finishing the exorcism.

 

There was a water fortune, so I tried it, but it was a small luck, so I tied it to a branch.

 

By the way, my acquaintance was Sueyoshi, so I realized that we are in an unlucky year.

 

However, I came to the conclusion that it was okay because I just got rid of the bad luck, so I ate delicious pasta and went home.

 

Come to think of it, water was spilled by the clerk at that pasta shop just like in a drama (laughs).

 

Are you going back to Aichi on the Shinkansen with this? ? I was confused for a moment, but my clothes were also dried, so I returned home safely.

 

I liked that it was water instead of soup.

 

In addition, since it became a blog topic, I will consider it as killing two birds with one stone.

 

Speaking of Hiyoshi Taisha, it is also said that the scene in the movie “Rurouni Kenshin” where the main character receives the “reverse blade sword” from Akazora Arai was filmed.

 

It is said that the impressive pine tree that became Gunen was used as a location for various things other than Ruroken.

 

N was also very interested in the shape of the tree that he saw for the first time.

 

I was talking endlessly with an acquaintance about why it became like this, but I couldn’t find an answer.

The first time I went to Hiyoshi Taisha, for some reason it was so comfortable that I felt like I wanted to stay here forever.

 

When I looked it up later, I found out that there is an attribute of a shrine that is compatible with me, and that was Hiyoshi Taisha.

 

By the way, it seems that N is compatible with Nagoya Castle in Aichi Prefecture.

 

On the other hand, Atsuta Jingu and Ise Jingu seem to be incompatible, and I went there at the end of the year.

 

 

 

Do you know the ritual of offering Tamagushi to the gods called “Tamagushi Houe” to ward off evil spirits?

 

This is called Tamagushihoten, and Tamagushi is a branch of the Sakaki tree, where the gods reside, tied with shide and hemp. According to the dictionary, it means “to offer respectfully.”

 

Tamagushi Housei is also characterized by being a “Shinto” ceremony.

 

For example, at wakes and funerals in accordance with Shinto rules, tamagushi hosho is performed instead of incense.

 

I’m sure there are fine etiquette, but since it was my first time, I did what the priest told me, but I don’t know if that was the right thing to do.

 

“Hiyoshi Taisha” in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture is the head shrine of more than 3,000 Sanno Shrines nationwide.

 

In addition, since it is located in the direction of the demon gate when viewed from Heiankyo, it is believed to ward off bad luck.

 

The monkey known as “Masaru” is the messenger of the gods and is a symbol of warding off evil.

 

Monkeys inhabit all over Japan, but for some reason, monkeys have been associated with Hiyoshi since ancient times, and since some time ago, monkeys have come to be treated as a symbol of warding off evil spirits.

 

“Masaru” is said to be a very auspicious monkey who is familiar with “evil goes away” and “wins”.

 

Monkeys have long been kept in the precincts, and are said to have already appeared in records from the Muromachi period.

 

“Monkey stables” and “monkey stables” are written on maps from the Edo period. According to the record of “Hiyoshi Sanno Gongen Chishinki”, a budget (salary??) of “Ikkoku” (the amount of rice one adult eats in a year) is allocated for food expenses for Kamien.

 

I felt a little sorry that I was put in such a small space, but I’m glad that I felt like I was getting paid.

 

 

 

There are 3,000 maple trees in the precincts, and it is known as one of Kansai’s best autumn leaves viewing spots.

 

The best time to see them is from around November 10th to early December every year, so I’d like to see Hiyoshi Taisha again in autumn.

 

There are about 40 shrines, and all the gods are collectively called “Hiyoshi Okami”.

 

Hiyoshi Taisha was founded by Emperor Sujin in the 7th year of the year, so it has a history of more than 2100 years.

 

After the capital was moved to Heiankyo, it has been revered as a talisman and a ward of misfortune, as it is located in the northeast of Kyoto, the capital city.

 

There is also a cute monkey decoration at the Antique Fukousha.

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

 

早速ですが、「今日は何の日？」と勝手にコーナーを作ってしまおうと思いつきまして、不定期に開催していきたいと考えております。

（というのも毎回ブログのネタ探しの際に、今日は何の日かな…と調べる癖がついていて自分の興味がある内容であれば取り上げたいという勝手な考えで申し訳ございません。）

 

そんな今日は・・・「冥王星の日」だそうです。

皆さま、小学生のとき「水・金・地・火・木・土・天・海・冥」と覚えた記憶がありませんか。

これは太陽系で惑星の名前を”太陽から近い順”に並べたもので、当時は一番離れている冥王星まで数に含んで覚えていましたが、現在では冥王星は惑星ではないため、数えないんだとか。

なので”海”で終わるのが正解。

 

実は「今日が何の日」で冥王星の日について調べるまで冥王星が惑星だと未だに思っていたので少しお恥ずかしい話ですが…

ではいつのまに惑星ではなくなったの！？という同じ考えの方も、もしかしたらいらっしゃるかもしれませんので少し説明したいと思います。

 

元々、冥王星の日は１９３０年（昭和５年）の２月１８日にアメリカのローウェル天文台に勤務していたクライド・トンボー氏が１月２３日と１月２９日に撮影した写真を比較して太陽系の９番目の惑星とされた冥王星を発見したことから制定された記念日だそうです。

当時、この惑星の名前を決める権限はローウェル天文台と天文台の所長であったヴェスト・スライファー氏にあり、最初は神々の長である「Zeus（ゼウス）」やローウェル天文台の設立者の名前から「Percival（パーシヴァル）」など候補の挙がりましたが、どれもピンとこず・・・

そんなときに冥王星の名付け親、「ヴェネツィア・バーニー」当時１１歳の女の子が彼女のおじいさんから新しい惑星が見つかったということ、そしてその惑星は非常に見えにくいという話を聞き、ローマ神話に出てくる冥王プルートが自分の姿を消すことができることから「Pluto（プルート）」という名前をおじいさんに提案したところ、皆がその名前を気に入り採用されたという経緯があるんです。

 

まさか１１歳の女の子のネーミングセンスが抜群で驚きですよね！？私だったら・・・考えてみましたが思いつきませんね（笑）

 

少し話は逸れましたが、ではなぜ冥王星が惑星ではなくなってしまったのか？という疑問がまだ残っていますよね。

その理由はこれまで曖昧だった惑星の定義が見直されたことがきっかけでした。

２００６年８月にチェコのプラハで開かれた国際天文学連合総会で新たに科学的な惑星の定義が決定し、その定義というのが「太陽の周りを公転していること」、「ある程度の質量を保有しており、そこから生じる重力により球状であること」、「その軌道周辺で群をぬいて大きいこと」。

 

ここで冥王星は、月よりも小さく、１９９２年に冥王星の近くに冥王星と同じような大きさの天体が１，０００個以上も見つかってしまい、さらには２００５年に２００３ＵＢ３１３という冥王星より大きな惑星が発見されてしまったため、「惑星」から外されてしまったということになったようです。

 

せっかく太陽系の第９惑星になったにもかかわらず、定義した結果惑星から外されてしまうというのは私だったら訴訟案件だったかもしれませんが、現在でも冥王星の調査は続けられているそうでして大気が青色だったり、ハート形の窒素の氷河が発見されたりと次々に明らかになっているようですので、これからも新たな発見がされることを楽しみに待ってみたいと思います。

そして密かに冥王星の推しでい続けたいと思います。

皆様こんにちは、スタッフNでございます。

 

先日、知人に誘われバイオリンとピアノの演奏を聴きに行って参りました。

 

楽器はなんとあの有名なストラディバリウス。

 

ストラディバリウスなのか、ストラリバディウスなのかもわからなかったNですが、古澤巌さんの素敵な声で解説もあり、素敵な音色に思わず寝てしまいました。

 

 

ホールの設備がよかったのもあり、今まで聴いたことのない透き通った綺麗な音色でございました。

 

駅でたまにバイオリンの演奏をしているのを聴くくらいで、あんなにバイオリンの音をじっくり聴く機会がありませんでした。

 

素人にバイオリンがわかるか不安でしたが、チャールダーシュのあの早弾きは聴いても観ても楽しめました。

 

他にもニューシネマパラダイスなど、なんか聴いたことある曲が多くて楽しかったです。

 

 

Nのストラディバリウスのイメージというと、テレビ番組の格付けのイメージが強いです。

 

後は先日行きましたジブリパークで見た、耳をすませばのバイオリン工房でしょうか。

 

ストラディバリもあのような場所でストラディバリウスを作っていたのでしょうね。

 

 

そこでストラディバリウスについて調べてみました。

 

 

ストラディバリウス(英:Stradivarius)は、イタリアのストラディバリ父子3人（父アントニオ、子フランチェスコ、オモボノ）が製作した弦楽器のことを言います。

 

特にアントニオ・ストラディバリが17世紀～18世紀にかけて製作した弦楽器が有名です。

 

通常「ストラディバリウス」といった場合は楽器を、「ストラディバリ」といった場合は楽器製作者を指すそうです。

 

 

 

ストラディバリの製作した弦楽器には、18世紀の法令に基づきラテン語にてAntonius Stradivarius Cremonenſis（アントニウス・ストラディヴァリウス・クレモネンシス）というラベル（クレモナのアントニオ・ストラディバリ作、の意）が貼られているそうです。

 

ここから、彼の手による弦楽器は「ストラディバリウス」あるいは省略して「ストラド」と呼ばれております。

現存するストラディバリウスは、ヴァイオリンが圧倒的に多く、ついでチェロ、ヴィオラの順になっております。

 

マンドリン、ギター、ハープは極めて少数が残されているのみだとか。

 

ストラディバリウス、バイオリン以外にもあるのですね、知らなかったです。

 

単純に、「300年前の楽器が残っている」ということだけでも高い価値が認められるのですが、ストラディバリウスは作り手であるストラディバリが選定した木材、そして高度な技術が詰め込まれているという点でも高い評価を受けているでそうです。

 

また、「300年たった今でも演奏されている」ということも重要なポイントだとか。

 

 

 

楽器としての性能がストラディバリウスと同等以上のものは作れているようですが、新作に歴史的な価値を付加することができないという点で「作成できない」というのが答えのようですね。

 

何がそんなにすごいのか、専門家によると、音の飛び方が素晴らしいそうです。

 

密度の濃い音を大きなホールの最後列まで飛ばすことができ、 音の深さがあり、音楽家が出したい音を出してくれるという音楽表現力に優れているのだとか。

 

ストラディバリウスの裏板に使われているのは、カエデの仲間のなかでも美しいカーリー杢をもつ最高級のシカモア材でございます。

 

長い間、聞く人をほれぼれさせる音色の秘密はニスにあると考えられていましたが、米コロンビア大学の気象学者たちが「均一な木目が音質に影響している」という新説を発表しました。

 

希少なストラディバリウス、またどこかで出会えることを楽しみにしております。

I didn’t even know if it was a Stradivarius or a Stralibadius, but Mr. Iwao Furusawa’s wonderful voice gave a commentary.

 

 

 

The facilities in the hall were good, and it was a clear and beautiful tone that I had never heard before.

 

I have never had the opportunity to listen to the sound of a violin so closely, except for the occasional violin performance at the station.

 

I was worried whether an amateur could understand the violin, but I enjoyed listening to and watching Chardás’ fast playing.

 

There were many other songs that I had heard before, such as New Cinema Paradise, so it was fun.

 

 

 

When it comes to the image of N’s Stradivarius, the image of TV programs is strong.

 

The other is the Violin Studio, which I saw at Ghibli Park when I went to the other day.

 

Stradivari must have made Stradivarius in a place like that.

 

 

 

So I started looking into the Stradivarius.

 

 

 

Stradivarius is a stringed instrument made by three Italian Stradivari fathers and sons (father Antonio, sons Francesco and Omobono).

 

Especially famous are the stringed instruments made by Antonio Stradivari in the 17th and 18th centuries.

 

Usually, when you say “Stradivarius” you mean the instrument, and when you say “Stradivari” you mean the maker of the instrument.

I didn’t know there were other Stradivarius instruments besides the violin.

 

The simple fact that “a 300-year-old instrument remains” is considered to be of high value, but Stradivarius is said to be packed with wood selected by the maker, Stradivari, and advanced technology. It seems that it is highly rated in terms of points.

 

Another important point is that it is still played 300 years later.

 

Currently, there are about 600 Stradivarius whose existence has been confirmed.

 

 

I was surprised that there were many more.

 

 

The highest price among existing genuine works is the 1721 Stradivarius “Lady Blunt” that was sold for $15,894,000 (approximately ¥1,274,200,000) on June 21, 2011.

 

It’s scary to touch her forehead, but it’s amazing to see her playing that instrument.

 

 

 

It seems that the performance as an instrument is equal to or better than the Stradivarius, but the answer seems to be “I can’t make it” in that it can’t add historical value to the new work.

 

What’s so amazing about it, according to experts, is how the sound flies.

 

It is said that it has excellent musical expressive power, such as being able to send dense sound to the last row of a large hall, having a deep sound, and being able to produce the sound that musicians want to produce.

 

The back plate of the Stradivarius is made of the finest sycamore wood, which has a beautiful curly heather among the maple species.

 

For a long time, it was believed that varnish was the secret to the timbre that makes listeners fall in love with it, but meteorologists at Columbia University in the United States have come up with a new theory that the uniform grain of the wood affects sound quality.

 

I am looking forward to seeing the rare Stradivarius again somewhere.

皆様こんにちは、スタッフYでございます。

 

今朝の名古屋は、ちょっと冷えた朝でありました。先日頃の陽気とは打って変わっての再びの寒さにやはり2月は2月だったようですね。皆様の地域は寒さはまだまだといったところでしょうか。

 

突然ですが昨日「人類の発展と継承は“石”だな。」と本当に思ったんですよ。どうしたいきなり？。疲れでもたまっているのか？と言われそうな発言ですが笑、まあお付き合いください笑。

 

先日スペインに行っている家族から現地の画像が送られてきまして。こちらはスペインセゴビアのローマ水道橋であります。「水道橋」は、街の最も高い所まで水を届けるため、1世紀後半、ローマ帝国時代に建造され、当時の水道橋はヨーロッパの各地に残っているのですが、当時の建造物としては最も保存状態の良いもののひとつのようです。もちろん世界遺産にも登録されております。この水道橋、接着剤を使わずに20,400個の石のみでできた全長728ｍ、163ものアーチから成る水道橋でして、その大きさと重厚な佇まいで見る者を圧倒しますね。その大きさは、下を歩いている人間と比較してもらうと少々わかっていただけるのでは。まさに人類の英知の結晶とも言うべき遺跡のひとつであります。それにしても英知のその先にある技術とは、なんと美しいものなんでしょうか。

 

 

 

 

1世紀後半には人類はすでにこうして石を高度な技術でもって利用し生活を豊かにているのですから驚きでありますが、その石を使った建造物が今なお2000年もの月日を経ても存在しこの美しくさでありますから、当時の人間のレベル技術や美術のレベルの高さにも驚きます。

 

そんな水道橋を眺めていてふと思い出したんですよ。日本の城の石垣ことを。こちらは、昨年伺った郡上八幡城。石垣は「打込接（うちこみはぎ」でしょうか。石の一つ一つをパズルのように形を整え積み上げ、今もなおこの美しさ。石垣だけが残った城址跡は結構存在いたしますので、石垣マニアの気持ちもなんだかわかってきたような。

 

 

どちらの遺跡も当時の名もない人々が、危険や重さと格闘しながら、ひとつひとつ美しく積み上げてた石であります。姿か形こそ違いますが、どちらも人々が石と向き合ってきた熱意や当時の奮闘する様子はいかに？などなど想像力を掻き立たせます。

 

石のことなんてふだんそんなに考えたとことないのですが、たぶん、ただそこにあって「なんか使えるんじゃね？。」と、人が手に取ったところからすべては始まったのでしょう。

 

そんな石が、紀元前のピラミッドをはじめ紀元1世紀のこのローマ水道橋の時代にはすでにここまできて、今なお現存。日本の私たちも石舞台古墳や城址の石垣もそうですがここまできますと、もはや、ただのころがっている「石」ではなくなってきております。先ほども述べましたが、石が技術を超えて芸術になってきていますよね。それもこれも人の知恵や手によるもの。

 

これらを眺めておりまして、大丈夫か？レベルの妄想に浸ってしまいましたが、それと共にこれらの遺跡は、これからの2000年も残って欲しい強く思えてまいりました。

The other day, I received a picture of Spain from a family member who is visiting the country. This is the Roman aqueduct in Segovia, Spain. The aqueduct was built in the late 1st century during the Roman Empire in order to bring water to the highest point of the city, and it seems to be one of the best-preserved structures from that period, although aqueducts from that time remain in many places in Europe. Of course, it is registered as a World Heritage site. The aqueduct is 728 meters long and consists of 163 arches, made of only 20,400 stones without using any adhesives. The size of the aqueduct is overwhelming to look at due to its sheer size and massive appearance. It is truly one of the relics that should be called the crystallization of human wisdom. But what a beautiful thing is the technology that lies beyond wisdom.

 

It is amazing that in the latter half of the 1st century, human beings were already using stone with advanced technology to enrich their lives, but the fact that the structures made of stone still exist and look so beautiful after 2000 years makes me wonder about the high level of technology and art of the people of that time.

 

I was looking at the aqueduct when I suddenly remembered something. I was reminded of the stonewalls of Japanese castles. This is Gujo Hachiman Castle that I visited last year. The stone walls are “Uchikomi-hagi,” or “Uchikomi-grafted. Each stone was shaped and piled up like a puzzle, and it still looks beautiful today. There are many castle ruins where only the stonewalls remain, so I think I understand how stone wall enthusiasts feel.

 

Both ruins are stones that were beautifully piled up one by one by the nameless people of that time, struggling with danger and weight. Although the shapes and forms are different, the enthusiasm of the people who faced the stones and their struggles in those days are also different. It stirs the imagination.

 

I usually don’t think about stones that much, but maybe they were just there and people picked them up and thought, “Maybe they can be used for something…”. I guess it all started when a person picked up a stone and thought, “Maybe there is a use for it.

 

Such stones were already here at the time of the Roman aqueduct in the 1st century A.D., including the pyramids in B.C., and they are still here today. In Japan, as in the case of the Ishibutai burial mounds and the stone walls of castle ruins, stones have come this far and are no longer just “stones” that have been lying around. As I mentioned earlier, stone has surpassed technology and become an art form. This is also due to the wisdom of people and their hands.

 

I was looking at these things and wondering, “Are you all right? I was immersed in a level of delusion, but at the same time, I strongly hope that these ruins will remain for the next 2,000 years.

皆さま、こんにちは。スタッフMです。

 

先日スタッフYより、「春のニュースをたくさんお届けいたします」とありましたが、わたくしの春探しセンサーも働き始めました。

無意識に始まるとはこういうことだな・・・と感じた1枚がこちら。

 

 

 

たまたまお散歩中に発見したのですが、もうすでに”桜”が咲いていたんです！！

梅の間違いなんじゃないかと思い、Google大先生に写真の識別を頼んでみたのですがどうやらGoogle大先生も同じく”桜”と認識致しました。

 

この時期の桜といえば、本州で一番早く咲く桜として有名な「河津桜」。

伊豆の温暖な気候と早咲きの特色を生かし、毎年２月上旬から開花しはじめ約１か月を経て満開となります。ソメイヨシノのようにパーッと咲いてすぐ散ってしまうという桜ではないんです。

ちなみに開花するまでの間も含めて長く楽しめる桜として知られている河津桜、実は観光客泣かせのワガママな桜とも言われいます。

その理由が、開花予想がとても立てづらいためなのだとか…。

早い時にはお正月頃に開花が始まったり遅いと２月中旬以降に咲いたりなど、ここ数年はばらつきがあり予想が立てづらくなっているそうです。

 

そして河津桜の原木は伊豆急河津駅から天城山へ向かって１．２㎞の地点、河津町田中の飯田さんという方がある日、河津川沿いの冬枯れ雑草の中で芽吹いている桜の苗を見つけてお庭に植えたのが最初なのだそうです。

当時は約１か月もの間咲き続ける桜は珍しく近隣の注目の的だったようでして、その後この桜を増殖し１９７４年に河津桜と命名され、翌年に飯田さんが植えた木が原木として指定されたそうです。

 

このようなお話を知りますと、道端に咲いているお花や草などもそのまま通り過ぎてしまうだけでなくしっかり見てみなければいけないとつくづく感じます。

これからの季節、春の日差しをたっぷりと受けた色とりどりの花々が咲く頃を迎えますので楽しみですね。

Kawazu cherry trees are located 1.2 km from Izukyu Kawazu Station toward Mt. Amagi. 今日はバレンタインデーでございますね。

 

今日結ばれるカップルがどれくらいいるのか考えるとワクワク致しますね。

 

 

 

降られてしまった方もたくさんいるかもしれませんが、告白したその勇気がいつか財産になるような気がするので、色々な変化と成長のある素敵な日だなと感じております。

 

Nはバレンタインデーの前にチョコを食べ過ぎて、当日になったらお腹いっぱいになってしまいました。

 

これから知人が毎回大量にもらってくる、義理チョコを頑張って消費する日々が待っております。

 

チョコもだんだん試行錯誤して色々な進化をしておりまして、Nが先日いただいたチョコはお茶の味が致しました。

 

美味しいのですが、チョコの食感なのに味はお茶なのでなんとも不思議な感覚でございました。

 

知人にあげたチョコは大地の味がしたそうで、美味しかったのか不安でございます。

 

昔カカオ９５％のチョコを間違えて買ってしまい、チョークを食べている感覚に陥ったことがあるので、そんな感覚かもしれません。

 

メゾンカカオやオードリーやsnowなど人気商品も食べてみたかったのですが、行列に嫌気がさして断念したので、来年は早めにゲットしたいと思います。

 

最近はチョコだけではなくクッキーなども人気だそうで、マツコの番組でクッキー缶特集をしておりました。

 

知人もお菓子缶が大好きで、山のようにつまれているのですが、見ているだけで幸せな気分になります。

 

中身もただ無造作に敷き詰められているだけではなく、形がぴったりパズルのようにはまっていたり、目で見ても食べても楽しめるアートのようになってきております。

 

 

西暦269年のこの日、兵士の自由結婚禁止政策に反対したバレンタイン司教が、時のローマ皇帝の迫害により処刑されました。

 

その後、この日がバレンタイン司教の記念日としてキリスト教の行事に加えられ、恋人たちの愛の誓いの日になりました。

ヨーロッパでは、この日を「愛の日」として花やケーキ、カード等を贈る風習がございます。

 

女性が男性にチョコレートを贈る習慣は日本独自のもので、1958(昭和33)年にメリーチョコレートカムパニーが行った新宿・伊勢丹でのチョコレートセールが始まりだそうです。

 

1年目は3日間で3枚、170円しか売れなませんでしたが、現在ではチョコレートの年間消費量の4分の1がこの日に消費されると言われるほどの国民的行事となりました。

 

 

バレンタインについて調べておりましたら、お菓子それぞれに意味があるということがわかりました。

 

チョコレートの意味は、「あなたと同じ気持ち」だそうです。

バレンタインのお返しとしてのチョコレートには、「これまでと同じ関係でいましょう」という意味合いが込められております。

日頃の感謝や信頼の気持ちから贈る義理チョコや友チョコに、同じくチョコレートで応えることは、すなわち「あなたと同じ気持ち」というメッセージになるんだとか。

 

マロングラッセの意味は、「永遠の愛」だそうです。

マロングラッセは、栗をまるごと砂糖で煮つめ、ブランデーで香り付けを施した高価なお菓子でございます。

マケドニアの英雄であるアレキサンダー大王が最愛の妻のために贈ったとされたことから「永遠の愛を誓う証」として男性が女性に贈るお菓子へと発展したんだとか。

ロマンチックですね。

 

ティラミスの意味は、「元気付けて」だそうです。

イタリアの代表的なお菓子、ティラミスは、イタリア語では Tiramisuとなります。

 

これを文節に分けると「Tira→引っ張る」「Mi→私」「Su→上に」となり、“Tirami su!” すなわちイタリア語で「私を引っ張りあげて」という意味になります。

この「引っ張り上げて」という言葉が転じて、「私を元気付けて」となったそうです。

 

キャンディの意味は、「あなたが好き」だそうです。

キャンディには「あなたが好き」という意味があります。
「子どものお菓子」というイメージが強いキャンディですが、口に入れてからなめ終わるまでには時間がかかり、また口の中にフレーバー（味）が長く残ることから「愛が続く」という前向きな関係が連想されるようです。

昔の職場でよくあめちゃんを配っていたのですが、あれは好きをふりまいていたのですね。

大阪は、大阪のあめおばちゃんの好きのおかげで人情味あふれているのかもしれません。

 

クッキーの意味は、「友達でいよう」だそうです。

サクサクの食感が「ライト＝軽い」友人関係をイメージしているのだとか。
バレンタインデーやホワイトデーの贈り物としてのクッキーの由来を知っている人は少ないかもしれませんが、ジンクス的な意味合いを考えると意中の相手にはクッキー以外のものをプレゼントしたほうがいいいかもしれません。

 

マカロンの意味は、「あなたは特別な人」だそうです。

カラフルでかわいいマカロン。
マカロンはフランスの代表的なお菓子だと思われがちですが、実は発祥はイタリア。
語源はパスタの一種であるマカロニからきているそうです。
高級感のあるお菓子であることから「特別な人にしか贈らない」といった意味合いが込められるようになりました。

 

キャラメルの意味は、「安心する存在」だそうです。
これはキャラメルを口の中に入れると溶けていく感覚があり、それでも確かに存在感は残る、といったキャラメルが持つ特徴に由来しています。
もちろん「あなたのことが好き」という意味にもとれますが、キャンディのような「はっきりとした存在」とは違い、「ほかの人とは似て否なる位置付け」という風にも捉えられます。

 

バームクーヘンの意味は、「幸せが続きますように」だそうです。
何層にも重なってできているバームクーヘン。
「生地が重なっている」→「幸せを重ねる」→「幸せが続きますように」という意味になるようです。
バームクーヘンが結婚式の引き出物によく使われるのも、この理由から来ているようですね。

 

マドレーヌの意味は、「仲良くなりたい」だそうです。
マドレーヌはキリスト教の巡礼のシンボルであり、中世の通行証でもあったホタテ貝の形に焼き上げるのが本場の伝統です。
日本では昔から二枚貝の形は夫婦円満や縁結びなどを連想させ、縁起が良いとされています。
貝殻がぴったりと合わさる様子が「円満な関係」を表し、それが転じて「もっと仲良くなりたい」という意味が生まれました。

 

マシュマロの意味は、「あなたのことが嫌い」だそうです。
これは驚きですね。

マシュマロが入っているチョコもありそうです。
マシュマロは「口の中に入れるとすぐ溶けてしまう」ということで、「消えてほしい」→「嫌い」という意味が込められているといわれているんだとか。

しかし、ほとんどの方が知らないので大丈夫だと思いますが、中にはそういう意味の方もいるのかもと思うと少し怖いですね。

N ate too much chocolate before Valentine’s Day and was full on the day.

 

From now on, I’m waiting for the days when my acquaintances give me a lot every time, and I’ll do my best to consume it.

 

The chocolate has evolved in various ways through trial and error, and the chocolate that N received the other day tasted like tea.

 

It’s delicious, but it has a chocolate texture, but it tastes like tea, so it was a strange feeling.

 

I heard that the chocolate I gave to an acquaintance had the taste of the earth, so I’m worried if it was delicious.

 

A long time ago, I accidentally bought 95% cocoa chocolate and felt like I was eating chalk, so maybe that’s how I feel.

 

I wanted to try popular items such as Maison Cacao, Audrey, and snow, but I gave up because I was fed up with the queues, so next year I would like to get them early.

 

Recently, it seems that not only chocolate but also cookies are popular, and Matsuko’s program featured cookie cans.

 

My acquaintances also love candy cans, and they are piled up like mountains, but just looking at them makes me happy.

 

The contents are not just casually laid out, but the shape is perfect like a puzzle, and it has become like an art that can be enjoyed by looking at it and eating it.

Later, this day was added to Christian observances as the anniversary of Bishop Valentine, and became the day of the love vows of his lovers.

In Europe, there is a custom to give flowers, cakes, cards, etc. on this day as “Love Day”.
