Hello everyone, this is Staff Y.

It’s finally raining here in Nagoya, where the antique art Fukosha is located.

The whole city has turned gray, and I want to find something bright in the scenery of the city, or is it even mentally gray?

By the way, I was worried about [Cloisonne] today, so I picked it up.

There are quite a few techniques for cloisonne ware, but the techniques are roughly divided into two types: wired cloisonne and wireless cloisonne.

This hanaire is a wired cloisonne, but it is a technique of drawing a pattern with silver wire and adding color to it.

Of course, the more you draw a silver wire and use more colors, the finer and more delicate the pattern becomes, but if it’s a familiar cloisonne ware that you all know, it’s a school emblem. It was

If you think that the school emblem at that time was true, please pull it out and take a look.

Such cloisonne ware became very popular in Europe during the Meiji era, but I’m sure that foreigners were surprised and fascinated by its delicate beauty and skill.

Also, at that time, the cloisonne ware that had traveled overseas was returned to Japan as a homecoming item, but I wonder if this hanaire was also displayed at some European home.

Such a cloisonne ware has a long history, and you can find something similar to ancient Mesopotamia and Egyptian civilization from BC.

The crown of Tutankhamen’s golden mask seems to use the technique of cloisonne ware.

These arrive in Japan from Europe via the Silk Road, and then to Japan in Ikaruga-cho, Ikoma-gun, Nara Prefecture. It must have been a very valuable thing, and the Japanese at that time must have been fascinated by its beauty and surprised.

Then, I wondered if Japan was the first to be surprised at the beauty and skill of Cloisonne.

I would like to hear various impressions that everyone was surprised at the beauty of the long journey of the cloisonne ware, such as the long Silk Road trip and the boom of cloisonne ware in Japan during the Meiji era.

Well then, good luck.
