もうねぇ、そろそろ自粛に疲れてきましたので思い切って旅に出かけてきましたよ、自宅より車で3分の旅へ。失礼致しました。旅ではありません、あくまでも生活圏内での買い物の途中の立ち寄りです。と、いうわけで急いで駆け抜けて、ここ鳴海宿有松～鳴海界隈のご紹介をいたします。

 

 

 

 

 

古美術風光舎名古屋店のあります愛知県には、旧東海道が通っていたこともあり、歴史を感じられるスポットが所々あります。

ですが、旧東海道の宿場町の面影が残っているのは、ここ有松～鳴海近辺だけだそうです。有松の町並みは2016年7月、国の重要伝統的建造物群保存地区にも選定されており、町全体が景観を損なわないように歴史環境に配慮した建物になっております。よって、有松～鳴海近辺は現在も街道の趣きを残し、ここは大都市名古屋の中にあって今も街道情緒が色濃く残されているタイムスリップゾーンといったところでしょうか。なんといっても名古屋駅から名鉄名古屋本線で20分で降りたってすぐに行けるとあって、季節の良い時期にはウォーキング旅をしている方も多く見受けられます。

 

絞りでも有名な鳴海、有松界隈。通り沿いには、今も絞りをお店が立ち並び、HNK大河ドラマ(たしか、黒田官兵衛の岡田准一さん)の衣装も手掛けた有名な絞商さんも。絞りについては、次回のブログに詳しく掲載いたしますね。

 

 

 

 

もちろん、歌川広重の東海道五十三次にも鳴海宿の版画が残っています。東海道は、当時の交通の要。ここを通って、江戸や伊勢や熱田や京など様々な人が行きかって賑やかだったのでしょう、当時の方が軒先で絞りを手に取っている姿が。旅の思い出にお土産に名産品を買ったりしてたのでしょうか。版画の中の人々も心なしか、嬉しそうな表情であるような気がしますが。「東海道中膝栗毛」では、店の主人との滑稽なやりとりの末、弥次さんが手ぬぐいを一枚分買った場面で登場する所だそうです。

そうそう、この上の鳴海宿図にもあるように、確かに小高い山が現在もありますね。今は、小学校が建てられています。歴史検証とともに、ひとりブラタモリもやっているので、結構忙しい。

 

また、緩やかに曲がった東海道約800メートル区間に沿って、広い間口を持つ紋商の主屋敷や門・塀が数多く見られ、比較的ゆったりとした街並みが継承されています。並びには江戸後期から昭和初期までの様々な時代の建物が見られますが、東海道に面する主屋は木造2階建て、切妻屋根、桟瓦葺き、平入りを基本としているので、町並みが統一されている感が。ここ有松を過ぎれば、間もなく鳴海宿。鳴海近辺よりも開発されなかったせいか、そのおかげでしょうか、有松近辺に古い屋敷が多く残っています。有松絞の暖簾が春のさわやかな風にさやさやと揺れていているのがとても印象的でした。

 

 

 

 

 

 

忙しくレポートいたしましたが、広重の版画と現在の道を見比べていると、だんだん傘を被ってこのまま京へ向かっている旅女の気分になってきました。京までは、歩きませんが。

 

次回は、有松の発展に欠かせないそして現在も継承されている有松絞の世界をご報告いたします。

Hey, I’m getting tired of self-restraint, so I took the plunge and went on a trip, a 3-minute drive from my home. Excuse me. It’s not a trip, it’s just a stop in the middle of shopping. That’s why I hurriedly ran through and introduced you to the Narumi-juku Arimatsu-Narumi area.

In Aichi Prefecture, where the antique art Fukosha Nagoya store is located, there are some spots where you can feel the history, partly because the old Tokaido was used.

However, it seems that the remnants of the post town of the former Tokaido remain only here in the vicinity of Arimatsu-Narumi. In July 2016, the townscape of Arimatsu was selected as a nationally severely ill traditional buildings preservation district, and the entire town is a building that takes the historical environment into consideration so as not to spoil the landscape. Therefore, the area around Arimatsu-Narumi still retains the taste of the highway, and this is a time-slip zone in the big city of Nagoya, where the atmosphere of the highway still remains. After all, it takes 20 minutes to get off from Nagoya Station on the Meitetsu Nagoya Line, and you can go there immediately, so many people are taking a walking trip during the good season.

Narumi, Arimatsu area, which is also famous for aperture. Shops are still lined up along the street, and there is also a famous squeezer who also worked on costumes for the HNK Taiga drama (Mr. Junichi Okada of Kuroda Kanbei). I will post more about the aperture in the next blog.

Of course, there are still prints of Narumi-juku on the Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido, Hiroshige Utagawa. Tokaido was the cornerstone of transportation at that time. It seems that various people such as Edo, Ise, Atsuta, and Kyo were bustling through here, and it can be seen that those at that time were picking up the iris at the eaves. Did you buy a souvenir as a souvenir as a memory of your trip? A happy expression without the hearts of the print people. In “Tokaido Nakagiri Kurige”, it seems that it will appear in the scene where Mr. Yaji bought a towel after a humorous exchange with the owner of the store. Oh yeah, as you can see in the Narumi-juku map above, there are certainly small mountains even now. An elementary school is being built now. Along with historical verification, I am also doing Bura Tamori alone, so I am quite busy.

In addition, along the gently curved Tokaido section of about 800 meters, you can see many main residences, gates, and walls of the crest quotient with a wide frontage, and the relatively spacious cityscape is inherited. In addition, you can see buildings from various eras from the late Edo period to the early Showa period, but the main building facing the Tokaido is basically a two-story wooden building, gable roof, tiled roof, and flat roof, so the townscape A feeling of unity. After passing Arimatsu here, Narumi-juku will soon be there. Perhaps because it wasn’t developed as much as in the Narumi area, there are still many older mansions in the Arimatsu area. It was very impressive that the Noren of Arimatsu Shibori was swaying in the refreshing spring breeze.

I’ve been busy reporting, but when I compare Hiroshige’s prints with the current road, am I the only one who feels like a traveling woman wearing an umbrella and heading for Kyoto? I won’t walk to Kyo. Next time, I will report on the world of Arimatsu Shibori, which is indispensable for the development of Arimatsu and is still inherited.
