それぞれの「モネの池」を鑑賞してみました。（愛知県名古屋市千種区 骨董買取 古美術風光舎）

今年、夏が早くもなんとも早くもやってまいりましたね。このような早い梅雨明けは異例中の異例ではありますが、明けてしまいましたので季節は夏。
ですが、明けた途端にこの猛暑とは…。外での活動、いえいえ室内での活動においてもくれぐれも温度管理、体調管理に気を付けて、この夏を乗り切っていきましょう。
本日は、そんな夏によいのではないかと鑑賞していただきたいそれぞれのモネをご紹介いたしましょう。
東海近県の皆さまはご存知でしょうか、岐阜県関市にある通称「モネの池」。こちらを鑑賞いただきましょう。私のつたない腕をと携帯のカメラによる撮影ですが、このような写真がとれました。ご参考までに、こちらは無修正です。
透明度の高い湧水に睡蓮の花が咲き、その中を鯉が泳ぐ美しい池でありまして、夏には水面に蓮の花が可愛らしく顔を出します。元々は地元住民にも認知されていない「名もなき池」だったのですが、2015年頃に全国版と東海や関西でテレビ放映されたことがきっかけとなり、「モネの池」としてSNS上で「まるでモネの『睡蓮』の絵のようだ」と話題に。それ以降、現在までにInstagramでは「#モネの池」で10万件以上もの写真が投稿され、現在では関市の観光サイトでも紹介されるなど、人気の観光地としても定着しつつあります。
もともと「モネの池」は関市の根道神社の敷地内にあり、昭和50年代に農地を整備する“ほ場整備事業”で水田の水を引くために整備した池だったため「名もなき池」と名付けられたのですが、湧き水が出る池だったため、当初は“ほたるの里”として池にカワニナなどを入れてヘイケボタルを増やす計画でいたようです。
ですがその数年後に地元の人が鯉を入れてしまったため餌が食べられてしまい、そこに管理人が睡蓮やコウホネなどの植物を池に入れて栽培を始めたという経緯がございます。
つまり、人の手で作られた景観の池なのですが、様々な条件が功を奏して「モネの池」となったわけです。
どこからともなく湧く透明な水によって水面や池の底にゆらゆらと揺らぐ睡蓮の根が独特な色の池の濃淡を作り出し、その間をゆったりと渡っていく鯉の鮮やかな模様が葉の下を見え隠れ致します。見える角度や光の具合にもよっても様々に色や濃淡が変化し、もしこの池を描けるとしたなら、どんな色を塗り重ねていくのか、はたしてモネのように描けるのか…そういった意味でも池の中をしばらく覗いていたくなります。
しかし、たいへん静かな池の風景なのですが、実はこの小さな池の周りに私を含め、たくさんの人が池をのぞき込んで写真を撮っております笑。
突如注目を集め始めてから早6年、「モネの池」を取り巻く状況や観光地化していったのですが、訪れた日もなかなかの賑わいでありましたが、そののぞき込んだ池の中だけは、周りの賑わいを知ってか知らずか静かに水をたたえておりました。
そんなモネの睡蓮の池の本物の作品は多々あるのですが、せっかくですので本日は双方鑑賞してみましょう。
こちらのモネは昨年の三井一号館美術館にて展示されましたイスラエル博物館の所蔵品の中から来日したものであります。
こちらは珍しいイスラエル博物館の所蔵品です。モネの睡蓮の池の作品は、様々な美術館が所蔵しておりますが、いろいろなところにその数なんと250点以上あるようです。あまりにも数がございますので１枚１枚の市場価値はバラバラですが、2014年にオークションで２７億円という超高額で落札されたものもあるようですね。
そんな本家本元のモネの庭と池ですが、フランスのジヴェルニーのモネの家の庭にある池がモデルのようです。庭師を雇って庭を整備し、池の水は、セーヌ川から引っ張ってきており、睡蓮は増えすぎないようにと、鉢植えで管理していたようですから、こちらのモネの池もちゃんとお金とお手入れされての美しい景観だったようですね。
こちらのモネの池の作品は、静かでいて光によって鏡のように光る水面に、浮かぶ睡蓮と映りこんだ池の周りの深い木々が描かれておりましてその風景を切り取ったような絵。その両方が移りこんだ静かな池に、その美しさに吸い込まれるようにぞき込んで眺めていたくなるのですが、モネもきっとこの光と影の中に佇む睡蓮に魅了されたのか。お国や時代を問わず、世の人々なら誰しも魅了される風景なのでしょうね。
本日は、それぞれの「モネの池」の鑑賞をいたしましたが、少しは涼しさを感じていただけましたでしょうか。

Water lily flowers bloom in the highly transparent spring water, and it is a beautiful pond where carp swims in it. In summer, lotus flowers appear cutely on the surface of the water. Originally it was “Monet’s Pond” which was not recognized by local residents, but it was triggered by the national version and being televised in Tokai and Kansai around 2015, and it was displayed on SNS as “Monet’s Pond”. “It’s like a picture of Monet’s” Water Lilies “,” he said. Since then, it seems that more than 100,000 photos have been posted on Instagram at “#Monet’s Pond”, and now it is also introduced on the tourist site of Seki City, making it a popular tourist destination. It is becoming established.
Originally, “Monet’s Pond” was located on the premises of Nemichi Shrine in Seki City, and since it was a pond that was constructed to draw water from paddy fields in the “field maintenance project” that developed farmland in the 1950s, “Monet’s Pond” However, since it was a pond with spring water, it seems that it was originally planned to add Kawanina etc. to the pond as “Hotaru no Sato” to increase the number of Heike fireflies.
However, a few years later, the locals put carp in it, so the food was eaten, and the caretaker put plants such as water lilies and Nuphar japonica in the pond and started cultivating them.
In other words, it is a landscape pond made by humans, but various conditions have been successful and it has become “Monet’s Pond”.
The clear water that springs out of nowhere creates a unique shade of water lily roots on the surface of the water and at the bottom of the pond, and the vivid pattern of the carp that slowly crosses between them can be seen and hidden under the leaves. increase. The colors and shades change depending on the viewing angle and the condition of the light, and if you can draw this pond, what kind of colors will you paint on, and will you be able to draw like Monet? I want to look inside for a while.
However, although it is a very quiet landscape of the pond, many people including myself are actually looking into the pond and taking pictures around this small pond.
Six years after it suddenly began to attract attention, the situation surrounding “Monet’s Pond” and it became a tourist destination, but the day I visited was quite busy, but only in the pond I looked into. I was quietly pouring water without knowing the bustle of the surroundings.
There are many real works of Monet’s Water Lily Pond, but since it’s a big deal, let’s appreciate both of them today.
This Monet came to Japan from the collection of the Israeli Museum exhibited at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum last year.
This time, it is a rare collection of the Israel Museum, but Monet’s water lily pond seems to have more than 250 items. Since there are too many, the market value of each one is different, but it seems that some of them were sold at auction in 2014 at a very high price of 2.7 billion yen.

I want to look into the quiet pond where both of them have moved in, as if I was sucked in by its beauty, but I wonder if Monet was also fascinated by the water lilies standing in this light and shadow.
