いやぁ、このところ急に暖かくなり、人や車などの動きがどことなく騒がしくなったような、街中が動き出したような気が致します。古美術風光舎名古屋店前の姫池通も今朝からなにやら渋滞であります。この陽気、じっとはしていられないぞ。

 

それがですね今朝方見つけてしまいした。今季最速の散りゆく桜を。もちろん何桜のなのか名前もわかりませんが、早咲きにもほどがありますね…。

 

その桜を発見致しましたのは古美術風光舎名古屋店のご近所、上野天満宮付近にございます「水の小径」の一角。

 

以前からよく通り抜けはしておりましたが、その意味も知らず素敵な径だなとふらふら通り抜けておりました。どことなく緩やかにカーブをした小径にところどころ休憩するスペースや、モクレン、ユキヤナギ、ボケ、梅、桜、サルスベリなどなど馴染みのある植栽を配しており、逆にいかにもといった感じはございません。どこかのお庭を通り抜けているかのような小径でして、すっかり住宅地に大変馴染んでおり、ご近所の方のまさにお散歩コースでありましょう。

 

その植栽の一つの桜が、早くも舞い散った花びらにて道路に花柄を描いていたのですが、散りゆく桜をみてしまうと「ちょっとまってくれ」と、桜好き日本人のDNAがそうさせるのか焦って写真におさめてしまいました。待て。桜の開花はまだまだこれからですので、焦ってはなりませんね。

 

そんな水の小径、よくよく調べますと（手前みそではございますが）美味しいと評判の名古屋の水道水にとって大切な役割を果たしております。

 

 

 

 

実はこの小径、名古屋市の緑道整備計画のひとつとして、守山区のあります鍋屋浄水場水源から古美術風光舎名古屋店の歩いて３分の至近にございます東山浄水場にいたるまでの大きな上水道の上を小径とし、それを人工の川にみたてて再現されております。北端にはダムの模型を配した水源広場を、南端の浄水場には浄水場を模した広場を設け、この二つの間を木曽川に見立てた小径にしているとのことでして、どうりで緩やかなカーブに植栽もどことなく意識的にしておるなと思ったり。

 

他にも公園には木曽川にある石を使用し、先ほど述べたように樹木も上・中・下流を区分して植栽するなど細かな配慮がされているようでして、通学路としても利用しており、近くの子供たちの水のふれあう遊び場、憩いの場所として活用されております。

 

こんな小径を通り抜けて学校へ通っているとは、ここで見つけた草花のことや友達とのやりとりの断片が、きっと彼らの幼少の頃の淡い思い出となっていることでしょうね。

 

とまあ、そんなことも知らずにふらふらと通り抜けていたのですが、どことなくわざわざ通り抜けたくなるのですが、でもさりげなく住宅街になじんでいたりと気になる小径ではあります。

 

そんなことも知らずにわざわざ通り抜ける私のような人がいるとしたら、この緑地計画は成功といえるのではないか。と、思いながら桜の花びらをよけながら小径を通り抜けていった今朝でありました。

 

これからしばらく、わたくしを含め春に浮足立ったスタッフメンバーからの春のニュースリレーが登場いたします。春を迎えるシーンや印象がこんなにも人様々なのかと、楽しみながら読んでみてくださいませ。本日はおとなしめの、でもちょっと気の早い桜のお話でした。

Himeikedori in front of the antique art Fukosha Nagoya store has also been in a traffic jam since this morning. This cheerfulness can’t stay still.

 

That’s what I found this morning. The fastest falling cherry blossoms this season. Of course, I don’t know the name of the cherry blossoms, but there are some early blooms …

 

I discovered the cherry blossoms in a small corner of the “small diameter of water” near Ueno Temmangu, a neighborhood of the antique art Fukosha Nagoya store.

 

I used to go through it often, but I didn’t know what it meant and I was wandering through it because it had a nice diameter. There is a space for resting in a small diameter that curves gently, and familiar plants such as magnolia, spiraea, quince, plum, cherry blossom, and crape myrtle are arranged, and on the contrary, there is no feeling of anything. With a small diameter that makes you feel as if you are passing through a garden somewhere, you are completely familiar with the residential area, and it will be a true walking course for your neighbors.

 

One of the cherry blossoms in the plant was already drawing a floral pattern on the road with scattered petals, but when I saw the falling cherry blossoms, a Japanese person who loves cherry blossoms said, “Please wait a moment.” I was impatient to take a picture of it. wait. The cherry blossoms are still in the future, so don’t rush.

 

If you look closely at the small diameter of such water (although it is in the foreground), it plays an important role in tap water in Nagoya, which has a reputation for being delicious.

 

Actually, as one of the green road maintenance plans for this small diameter, Nagoya City, there is a large water supply from the water source of the Nabeyaueno Water Purification Plant in Moriyama Ward to the Higashiyama Water Purification Plant, which is a 3-minute walk from the antique art Fukosha Nagoya store. The top is made a small diameter, and it is reproduced as if it were an artificial river. At the north end, there is a water source plaza with a model of a dam, and at the south end, there is a plaza that imitates a water purification plant. I thought that I was conscious of planting on a gentle curve.

 

In addition, the stones in the Kiso River are used for the park, and as mentioned earlier, the trees are also planted separately in the upper, middle and lower reaches, and it seems that detailed consideration is given, so it can be used as a school route. It is used as a playground where children can come in contact with water and a place of relaxation.

 

Going through such a small path to school probably means that the flowers and fragments of interactions with friends that I found here are faint memories of their childhood.

 

Well, I was wandering through without knowing that, but somehow I want to go through it, but it is a small diameter that I feel casually familiar with the residential area.

If there is a person like me who goes through without knowing such a thing, this green space plan can be said to be a success. Somehow, I passed through the small diameter while avoiding the petals of the cherry blossoms.
