このお天気ですから、この連休お片付けをされている方も多いのではないでしょうか。

 

先日もお片付けの買取をさせていたのですが、しばらく目にすることのなかった家族や先代の方々が大切にされていた御品をひとつひとつ確認するすのですが、その際には「そういえば、お父さん昔使っていたね。」「昔飾っていたのみたことある、懐かしいな…。」などと、ご家族やその御品の思い出がたくさん溢れてくる場面が幾度となくあります。

 

また、「手放す前にひとつひとつ丁寧にみることができてよかったです。」などという場面もあったり、そんな時はいつもジーンときてしまうのと共に、身の引き締まる思いにもなるものです。手放す御品はここで旅立ってきますが、ご家族とその御品との思い出はずっと大切にしてほしいなぁ…。などと思う場面が多い連休でありました。

 

さてさて、本日はこどもの日。

鯉のぼりを飾っているお家がこのところ少なくなってきましたが、古美術風光舎は今年から小さな鯉のぼりを店先に泳がせております。近所のお子さんや親子連れの目に読まるようでして、先日も小さな子供が

 

やねよりたかい こいのぼり
おおきいまごいは おとうさん
ちいさいひごいは こどもたち
おもしろそうに およいでる

 

なんて元気いっぱいの声でうたっている様子を店の窓から見ておりました。こどもたちの元気いっぱいの歌声と爽やかな晴天の空に泳ぐこいのぼり、ほんとうによく似合います。

 

ところで、さっき歌っていた鯉のぼりのうたなんですが、ちょっと気になったのですが。

「おかあさん」はどこへ。歌にもあるように、赤いのは女の子の子どもらしいので、どうもおかあさんではないようです。

 

諸説あるようなのですが、

実はこの行事、現在は男の子の祭りとされているのですが、実際は女性が小屋にこもって田んぼの神にその年の豊作を願うという女の祭りだったということもあるようです。昔の暦でいけば5月5日は今でいう6月の梅雨入りの季節であたるようでして、この時期の雨量よって秋の稲の収穫が左右されるこの時期は実に大切な時期のようでして、女性が農耕の神を祀る風習があったようです。この風習は弥生時代からというから稲作の広まりとともに始まったとされており、一説によれば卑弥呼がこの風習を始めたともされています。

 

そのため農村の女性たちは一日、集落の小屋や神社の拝殿などに集まり祈りを捧げ、神事のあとに直会とよばれる神様との今でいう食事会や宴会でご馳走や酒を飲み、楽しみながらも朝がくるまでその場にいることになっていたようです。言い換えれば年に一度、夫や子、舅や姑から解放される日だったようです。

 

その名残なのでしょうか、現在のこいのぼりにおかあさんはなし。そのかわり、古のこいのぼり伝説が「羽伸ばしておやすみでいいよ。」と泳ぎながら言っておりますので、実は女性にとってはサイコーの日だったようですね。

 

今でこそこどものためのイベントなどが多く、こいのぼりと同じようにぜひお休みにしたいとことろではありますが、現実はかなり難しい。こどもの日に食事会や宴会でご馳走や酒を飲み、楽しみながらも朝がくるまでその場にいる…なんて世界線がまた復活しないかな…。などと、元気に泳ぐこいのぼりの眺めながら願っている5月5日でありました。

I remember seeing them displayed in the past…” and so on. There are many times when we are filled with memories of our family members and their items.

There have also been times when we have said, “I’m glad I was able to carefully look at each piece before I let it go. I am always moved by these moments, and at the same time, I feel a sense of deepening of my own strength. The items that we are parting with will leave here, but I hope that the memories of the family and the items will be cherished forever…. I hope that the memories of the family and their belongings will be cherished for a long time….

 

Today is Children’s Day.

Recently, there are fewer and fewer houses decorated with carp streamers, but starting this year, Fukousha Antique Art has put up a small carp streamer in front of our store. The other day, a small child came up to us and said, “I have a carp streamer that is taller than a yane (a rice paddy).

The other day, a small child was singing a song about the children who had a large The children’s energetic singing and the carp streamers swimming in the fresh sunny sky really go well together.

 

By the way, I was wondering about the carp streamer song they were singing earlier.

Where is “Okaasan”? As the song says, the red one seems to be a girl child, not a mother.

 

There are various theories,

In fact, this event is now considered a boy’s festival, but in reality, it is said to have been a woman’s festival, where women would stay in their huts and pray to the god of the rice paddies for a good harvest for the year. According to the old calendar, May 5 is the beginning of the rainy season in June, which is now called the rainy season in Japan, and this period is very important because the autumn rice harvest depends on the amount of rainfall during this time, and it seems that women had a custom to worship the god of agriculture. This custom is said to have started in the Yayoi period (710-794) with the spread of rice cultivation, and according to one theory, Himiko started this custom.

 

After the rituals, the women of the village would gather at a hut or shrine for a day to pray, and after the rituals, they would have what is now called “Naokai,” a feast or banquet with the gods where they would enjoy feasts and sake, and stay there until morning. In other words, it was a day once a year to be free from husbands, children, and mother-in-laws in Alexandria.

 

As a remnant of this, the current carp streamer without a mother is swimming around saying, “Good night. It looks like they are swimming, saying “Good night.

 

Nowadays, there are many events for children on Children’s Day, but today, “Ladies, today is a day when many things are open and you can take off your clothes. It is actually a day for difficult things.
