連休ど真ん中ですが、皆さまいかがお過ごしでしょうか。「仕事だよ」「いや明日は学校だよ。」という方もお見えでしょうが、気分はどことなく連休に引っ張られますよね。

 

 

 

 

連日どこの観光地も賑わっていそうですが、特に今問題視されているのが、旅行者が観光地などに集中することで起こるオーバーツーリズムでしょうか。外国の観光客の方もこのところ増えていますので「公共交通の混雑」や「ゴミの散乱」といったマナー問題などによる地域住民の生活への影響が出ており、日本国内では、京都、鎌倉、沖縄の石垣島、岐阜県の白川郷でのオーバーツーリズムが目立っていますよね。東海地方ですと、やはり白川郷などはよくTVでみていますが、何かしらの対策を講じなければならない状況にもうきているようにも思えます。

 

ちなみ愛知県の外国人観光客が行ってみたいランキングは第５位は熱田神宮、第４位はレゴランド、第３位は名古屋港水族館、第２位は名古屋城、第１位はトヨタ産業技術記念館なのですが、ご存知だったでしょうか。

 

自分もこの連休の隙間にどこか行こうかまだ悩んでいるのですが、このような状態ですと逆にどこか人がいなくて行けそうなところはないかな…なんて探し方をしてしまいます。この調子だと近所をウロウロしていたほうがよさそうだな…と、毎年この時期は家の雑草の草ひきになってしまうのですが、それはそれでいい休日ともいえるのでしょうか。

 

ほったらかしだった木々や植物が思い出したかのようにこのところ元気よく芽吹いてきており、「芽吹いた新芽を眺めながら、忘れてなかったのだな…笑」、などと毎年関心しながら庭を手入れした後は全ての窓を全開。毎年恒例のお家グランピングでちょっと早い時間帯からソファで呑気な一杯のビールを始めます。これも悪くはないのか…。

 

そういえば、このところこんな風に人混みを避けた連休を何年か過ごしているような…と気づきまして。ここまで呑気な連休ばかり過ごしていると、逆にオーバーツーリズムの中へ突っ込んで思いっきり観光をしてみるのも面白しろいのか…なんてビールを飲みながらいろいろ思うのですが、連日のニュースなどをみているとやっぱり無理だなと諦めてしまうのも、このところの連休。

 

見方によっては贅沢な連休ともいえるのでしょうが、だめだめな連休とも言えますね。こんなを過ごし方をしている自分に、アクションを起こす起爆剤をどなたかにいただきたいものです。

How is everyone doing in the middle of the consecutive holidays? Some of you may be saying, “I’m working,” or “I have school tomorrow. I’m sure some of you are saying, “I’m working,” or “I’m going to school tomorrow,” but I’m sure your moods are somehow pulled by the holidays.

 

It seems that every sightseeing spot is crowded every day, but one of the problems nowadays is overtourism, which is caused by the concentration of tourists in sightseeing spots. The number of foreign tourists has been increasing recently, and this has affected the lives of local residents due to manner problems such as “public transportation congestion” and “littering.” In Japan, overtourism has been noticed in Kyoto, Kamakura, Ishigaki Island in Okinawa, and Shirakawa-go in Gifu Prefecture. In the Tokai region, Shirakawa-go is often seen on TV, and it seems that something must be done about it.

 

By the way, the ranking of the places that foreign tourists in Aichi Prefecture would like to visit is Atsuta Shrine (No. 5), Legoland (No. 4), Nagoya Port Aquarium (No. 3), Nagoya Castle (No. 2), and Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology (No. 1).

 

I am still wondering where to go during the holidays, but in such a situation, I am looking for a place where there are no people and where I can go. At this rate, it would be better to just wander around the neighborhood…and this time of year, I end up pulling weeds at home.

 

Trees and plants that have been neglected have recently sprouted vigorously as if they had remembered, and after tending to the garden, I open all the windows with an annual interest in “looking at the sprouts, I guess I didn’t forget…lol”. We start our annual house glamping a little early, and start drinking a beer on the sofa. Isn’t this not too bad….

 

Come to think of it, I realized that I have been spending the holidays avoiding the crowds like this for a few years now…. I was thinking over a beer that it would be interesting to go into overtourism and do some sightseeing… but the daily news made me give up and think that it is impossible, But the daily news makes me give up on the idea.

 

Depending on how you look at it, it could be called a luxurious holiday, but it could also be called a useless holiday. I would like someone to give me a catalyst to take action against this way of spending the holidays.
