先日の名古屋市科学館でのはやぶさ２の特別展の入場券について少々訂正がございまして。

 

先日、ブログ上では入場券は先着順の整理券とつぶやきましたが、土日祝日は、2名まで予約にて入場券がとれるとのことでして、私の早合点でありました。ご興味のごさいます方は、詳しくはそちらのHPを調べてみてください。

各言う私も、さきほど慌てて週末の入場券を押さえましたが、まだ大丈夫そうでありました。

 

とまあ、はやぶさのお話はここまでといたしまして、気分を変えてまいりましょう。

 

 

 

 

先日から、早くもクリスマスツリーやリースを飾っておりますお宅を目にすることがありますが、さらには、行きつけのスーパーでも気が付くとBGMがクリスマスでありましたよ。みなさまのお宅もクリスマスツリーやリースなどもう飾られましたでしょうか。

 

ハロウィン後の切り替えの早さには感心致しましたが、個人的にはイベントが続くと、これから年末年始まで駆け抜けなくてはいけないのか…と少々息切れモードに。何もない「ケの日」が、ちょっと恋しくなるのは私だけでしょうか。

 

そんなことをぼんやり考えながら先日、店舗で使用するカレンダーを購入しようとカレンダー売り場でいろんなカレンダーをぱらぱらと捲りながら佇んでいたのですが。

 

日にちの傍らにあります旧暦の季語や「冬至」や「節分」などや、様々な「節句」などなどをチェックしておりましたら、一年でこなさなくてはならない？イベントや行事はまあまああございますね。

それらの行事やイベント終わってから行ったり、準備したしりでは何の意味もなくなりますので、いつも先取りを意識しながらこれらの行事を執り行っている？のですが、こんなにあるのか…と思いつつ、それらをこなすにはまあまあ大変だなと、カレンダーを眺めておりました。

 

ですが、これらが逆に役に立つこともあるようですね。

旧暦の季語をみてみると「節分」「彼岸」「八十八夜」など、日本古来の伝統的な行事がたくさんありますが、これらは行事を楽しむことはもちろん、その時期の身体にあった食べ物や行いをすることができます。たとえば八十八夜は季節を知らせる雑節のことですが、立春から数えて88日目の日を指し、毎年5月2日あたりがこの日に当たります。

この日はとても涼しく快適な時期であることが多いため、農業においては種まきを始めたり、豊作を祈り神事が行われたりします。旧暦では何かしら意味のある季語がつけられていることが多いため、それを参考にして予定を立てると成功しやすいとのことですので、これらを逆に利用することもできるようです。

 

そんな季節の先取りをしながらそれらのイベントや、行事、はたまた衣や食や住を準備したり執り行うこと。なんだか「粋」だったり「季節の楽しむ気持ちの余裕」みたいなもを感じて常々憧れてはいるのですが、「これ全部完璧にできたらかっこいいなあ。」とは思いつつ、欧米からのイベントに加え、日本の節目節目の行事や節句などを加えると、ここ日本での季節の先取り、そしてそれらをこなすことはまあまあ忙しい…。

 

さらに、その行事の合間にも日本の四季の素晴らしさは『少しずつ暑さが増していく』とか『日に日に空気が冷たくなる』という季節の移ろい、季節の“間”を感じる美意識、そう、夏でも冬でもない“移ろう間”こそ日本の季節感の真骨頂もありますので、これらも意識して季節を追って行事を執り行こない？この地で暮らすことは少々大変ではありますが、これも移ろいを感じれる土地に住んでいるからこそととらえるべきでしょうか。

 

ですが、そんな季節の行事や節句、イベントを楽しみにしている自分もおりますので、できる範囲で、またその旧暦の季語などは利用しながらそれらを楽しんでいこうかなと来年のカレンダーを前に先取りして、そんなことを思った先日でありました。

I have a small correction regarding the admission tickets for the HAYABUSA2 special exhibition at the Nagoya City Science Museum the other day.

The other day, I tweeted on my blog that the admission tickets were numbered on a first-come, first-served basis, but on weekends and holidays, admission tickets can be reserved for up to two people. If you are interested, please check their website for details.

I also just now rushed to get the admission tickets for the weekend, but it looks like it is still OK.

 

Well, that’s enough about HAYABUSA, let’s change the mood.

 

 

 

I have been seeing homes decorated with Christmas trees and wreaths as early as the other day, and I even noticed that the background music at my favorite supermarket was Christmas music. Have you decorated your homes with Christmas trees and wreaths yet?

 

I am impressed by how quickly people switch over after Halloween, but personally, when events continue, I feel a little out of breath thinking that I have to run through to the year-end and New Year’s holidays. Am I the only one who misses the “Ke-no-hi” days when there is nothing going on?

 

The other day, I was standing in the calendar section flipping through various calendars to purchase a calendar to be used in the store.

 

I was checking out the seasonal words of the lunar calendar, “Winter Solstice,” “Setsubun,” and various “Sekku” festivals along with the dates, and I found that there were quite a few events and festivals that I had to complete in a year. There are so many events and festivals in a year…. It makes no sense to wait until after those events or festivals are over and then go to them or prepare for them. I was looking at the calendar and thinking, “I didn’t realize how many events there are…” I thought it would be quite a task to handle them all.

 

However, it seems that these things can be useful in some cases.

Looking at the seasonal words of the lunar calendar, there are many traditional Japanese events such as “Setsubun,” “Higan,” and “88 Nights,” which not only allow us to enjoy these events, but also to eat and do things that suit our bodies at that time of the year. For example, 88 Nights is a seasonal seasonal seasonal festival, and it falls on the 88th day counting from Risshun (the first day of spring), which falls around May 2 every year.

Since it is often cool and comfortable on this day, farmers begin to sow seeds and hold Shinto rituals to pray for a bountiful harvest. Since the lunar calendar often has some meaningful seasonal words, it is said that it is easier to be successful if you make your schedule based on them, so you can also use them in reverse.

 

It is also a way to prepare for and carry out events, food, clothing, and shelter while anticipating the season. I have always longed to be able to do so, feeling a sense of “chic” or “having enough time to enjoy the seasons,” but I think it would be cool if I could do it all perfectly, but when you add Japanese seasonal events and festivals in addition to overseas events, it is quite busy to anticipate the seasons here in Japan, and to manage them all. It’s quite busy….

 

In addition, the beauty of the four seasons in Japan is the sense of beauty of feeling the transition between the seasons, such as “the heat gradually increases” or “the air becomes colder day by day”. It is the “ma” (interval) between the seasons that is the essence of the Japanese sense of seasons. It is a bit difficult to live in this area with such awareness of the seasons, but I suppose this is also because we live in a land where we can feel the transitions of the seasons.

 

However, as I am one who enjoys such seasonal events, festivals, and events, I thought the other day, looking ahead to next year’s calendar, that I would like to enjoy them to the extent that I can, while also making use of the seasonal words of the lunar calendar.
