皆さまこんにちは。スタッフHでございます。

先日スタッフYが師走のプレッシャー？について綴っておりましたが、私も１２月になると気が焦り始めます。年末年始向けの商品、TV番組で紹介される大掃除のコツや今どきのお節の作り方など大量の情報が流れてくるからです。マメにする方ではないのに勝手に気ぜわしく感じ、時々叫びそうになります。気楽に何でも楽しめる人になりたいと毎年思います。

 

さて、本日は久しぶりにスタッフミーティングを行いました。シフトが重なることがなく、実は顔を合わせることが少ない私共なので、ミーティングは貴重な時間です。メールや引き継ぎノート、日々のブログを読んでいるせいか、いつも会っているような不思議な感覚になっていますが、やはり実際に会って話すのは大事だと感じました。近況報告や業務のことなど話が尽きず、美味しいお菓子を頂きながら楽しく有意義な時間が過ごせました。

 

 

 

 

スマホでいつでもどこでも繋がることのできる現代では考えられませんが、昔は見ず知らずの人と定期的に手紙を交わす「文通」というものがありました。相手からの返事を楽しみに何日も待つというのどかな時代でした。

私は文通はしなかったもののクラスメートと交換日記をしていました。毎日顔を合わせて話すのに、文章を読むとまた違った一面が見え新鮮でした。実際に会うことも、文章を交わすこともどちらも大切なことに思えます。

 

その頃から信じられないスピードで通信技術は進歩しました。いつでも連絡が取れたり、色々なジャンルの世界を簡単に覗けるのは便利で楽しくもあり、少し怖くもありますが、皆さまと風光舎を繫いでくれるこのブログに日々感謝しております。

Hello everyone. This is Staff H.

The other day, staff member Y wrote about the pressure of the New Year. I, too, start to feel anxious when December comes around. I am also becoming more and more anxious in December, as I receive a lot of information about products for the year-end and New Year’s holidays, cleaning tips introduced on TV programs, and how to make the latest Osechi (traditional New Year’s dishes). Even though I am not a meticulous person, I feel so much anxiety that I sometimes feel like screaming. Every year I wish to become a person who can enjoy everything with ease.

 

Today, we had a staff meeting for the first time in a while. Since our shifts don’t overlap and we don’t actually see each other very often, the meeting is a precious time for us. Perhaps it is because we read e-mails, handover notes, and daily blogs, but it is important to meet and talk in person. We had a lot to talk about, including updates and business matters, and we spent a very enjoyable and meaningful time over some delicious snacks.

 

It is unthinkable today that we can connect anytime and anywhere with our smartphones, but in the past, there was a kind of “correspondence” where people exchanged letters regularly with total strangers. It was an idyllic time when we would wait for days looking forward to a reply from the other person.

Although I did not engage in correspondence, I kept an exchange diary with my classmates. Although we saw each other every day, it was refreshing to see a different side of each other when we read each other’s writing. Both meeting in person and exchanging texts seemed important to me.

Since then, communication technology has advanced at an unbelievable speed. It is convenient, fun, and a little scary to be able to keep in touch at any time and to be able to look into the world of various genres so easily, but I am very grateful to this blog for connecting me with you and with the Fuhkosha.
