Hello everyone. I am Staff N.

Today is the last day of July, and tomorrow is August.

The other day, I went to Tokyo DisneySea for the first time in years.

I was invited and worried about whether I would be able to enjoy it even as an adult, but it was a lot of fun.

Disney fans may get mad at me because it’s a dreamland, but actually, N, I stopped going to Disney for a while.

When I was little, I loved it and said it every year, but there was a time when I suddenly became sad and said, “Oh, this is all fake…”.

However, this time, I was able to find a new way to enjoy it, not the cast and characters, but the audience.

When I got off at Maihama Station, the atmosphere changed, and I was happy to see that the space was filled with smiles and happy people looking forward to TDL, and I thought it was the most peaceful place in the world.

This time, I headed to Maihama Station alone for a local meeting, so I may have noticed the happy aura of the people around me, which I usually don’t notice.

When you are on a ship or train, strangers will wave to you.

Even though we don’t know each other, I’m happy to feel that we can understand each other’s feelings.

I felt like I was doing a mysterious mission halfway through, “If someone waves my hand, I will turn around with all my might” and “Look for someone who is waving their hand”.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Disney, and honestly, it was full of things I didn’t understand.

Can I enter with my cell phone? Did you run out of fastpasses? Can’t you watch the show if you fail the entry? What is Disney Premier Access? Is the passage of MiraCosta one hour after the park opens?

Etc. I was in a panic despite having prepared in advance.

In addition, the ticket I got from an acquaintance was wrong, and it was an early evening passport, a ticket that can only be entered after 15:00…

Because it says “Kids Summer Fun”, I misunderstand it as a child’s ticket…

There were too many horizontal characters and it was confusing.

And I was surprised that Mickey’s voice was a little different, but it seems that it has been replaced since 2018.

I did some research and found out that the previous voice actor was a university professor, and he was doing Mickey’s voice as a side job.

Perhaps Disney’s appeal lies in the sense of security that “if you come here, you will definitely have fun, you will definitely be happy.”

Even alone, I feel like I can understand the feeling of wanting to go to Disney again and again.

At Kobijutsu Fukousha, we also purchase old Disney cels.

How about a trip to Disney with the money you gave us the old one?

See you soon

Hello everyone. This is staff M.

Today, July 30th (Sat) and tomorrow, July 31st (Sun), the Kakuozan Summer Festival will be held for the first time in three years. This year’s event will be held a little shorter, but it will start from 16:00 to 21:00, which is the perfect time to enjoy the cool evening breeze.

In fact, it seems that the “Fire Festival” was held a little earlier than yesterday, and it seems that people were praying for good health during the summer and for the success of the festival.

I’ve been there a few times before the pandemic, and I remember that the area from Kakuozan Station to Nittaiji Temple was very busy with various shops opening. No matter how old I am when I hear about summer festivals, my heart starts beating fast.

I think summer festivals are held in various places around this time, but have you been to any summer festivals?

In the first place, the origin of the festival goes back to BC, the age of mythology. It is said that the origin of the shrine’s festival is said to be the origin of the shrine’s festival, when Amaterasu Omikami, the sun god’s younger brother, hid herself in the heavenly cave due to Susanoo no Mikoto. It is recorded in Japan’s oldest history book in the episode of Amanoiwato Kakure.

Since then, festivals have been held as events and rituals at shrines and temples.

In the Heian period, Shinko, in which the gods descended from the shrine to the town, appeared, and in the Edo period, entertainment such as floats and fireworks was added.

After all, summer festivals are indispensable. If you have time or are in the area, please visit the Kakuozan Summer Festival.

(ご存知ない方はkaze_hikaru4640055良かったらフォローお願いいたします。)

Hello everyone. This is Staff M.

The hot days continue, and I think there are many people who are a little bit hot in the summer. I’ve been exercising, my appetite has increased, and I’m overeating every day. Exercise that I started for the purpose of dieting is counterproductive, but today I would like to talk about food and vessels.

Immediately, what color of tableware do you have in your home? The cupboards in my house were full of tableware of various colors, and I found that the most common color was white or warm-colored tableware.

So, if you take a look at the vessels we handle, those who know our Instagram etc. will understand, but I think that there are many blue vessels. (If you don’t know, please follow me if you like kaze_hikaru4640055.)

However, as a shocking fact, blue is said to be a color that reduces appetite, and it is said that “if you want to diet, you should use a blue bowl”. However, blue plates are often used when fish dishes are served at set meal shops, and blue and indigo are often seen on Japanese tableware plates.

At our shop, we handle a lot of Japanese tableware, so there are many blue-based dishes, but in fact, it seems that the blue color reduces the appetite when it is 100% blue. On the contrary, 10% to 20% blue plates tend to increase appetite! Therefore, by using tableware of a color that is not found in food, it looks like a colorful dish.

Besides this, the white bowl looks great no matter what kind of dish you serve, and the green bowl complements the color of the dish like lettuce with garnish, so it can look more delicious. And.

And in terms of color, it seems that the warmest color vessel is the best.Warm-colored vessels seem to have the effect of unconditionally increasing appetite without considering the color of the dish. That’s right, if you eat with a bowl at home, you will eat too much …

Of course it’s not the vessel’s fault, but for now it’s the vessel’s fault. The effect of color is still interesting, isn’t it? Our shop handles not only blue but also various colors of vessels. Please take a look at it at most.

Hello everyone, this is Staff Y.

If you are an antique art lover, many of you may be looking at it. The other day, NHK “The Mark of Beauty” was about Kaoki.

Yes, I was so excited about the story of the legendary Ranjatai. That said, about three years ago, when the “Shosoin Exhibition” was held at the Tokyo National Museum, I was lucky enough to relive the memories of actually seeing “Ranjatai”. rice field.

“Ranjatai” To explain a little, it is the largest in Japan with a total length of 1.5 meters, a maximum diameter of 37.8 cm, and a weight of 11.6 kilograms, which was originally preserved at Todaiji Shosoin in Nara Prefecture. There is a legendary famous fragrant tree. When you actually see it, it looks like a big driftwood (excuse me), but it is the most valuable incense in Japan.

The name in the Shosoin treasure list is called “Ojukukou”, and after the demise of Emperor Shomu, who created the Buddhist culture of Heijokyo, the beloved Emperor Shomu was dedicated to Todaiji Temple by Empress Komyō. It is said that it is one of the items, but we do not know the details of its origin and transmission. There are various theories such as the theory that it is a gift from Kure in China and the theory that Kobo Daishi Kukai brought it back from China. However, it is a very valuable fragrant tree that has been brought from Southeast Asia. It must have been carefully carried to this point after a difficult voyage at that time, so it’s very good.

In addition, the name “Ranjatai” is a graceful name, and the other name is “Todaiji”.

If you look closely at each letter, you can see that the letters “East, Dai, Temple” are hidden in “Ranjatai, Machi”. In addition, it is said that it came to be called “Ranjatai” from the time of Yoshimitsu Ashikaga, because “I definitely want a samurai who was fiercely devoted”, so the warlords at that time “Ranjatai” You can see the longing for “” from this samurai.

By the way, it seems that this fragrant tree was not so famous when it was first delivered to Shosoin, but the story that there is a wonderful fragrant tree in Shosoin will spread to the world over the years. And since successive emperors and generals cut out and gave this fragrant tree to those who had credit, having this fragrant tree became a status for those in power, and eventually “Ranjatai = Tenkajin” The legend that is born.

In fact, Ranjatai was cut by Yoshimasa Ashikaga, Nobunaga Oda, and Emperor Meiji, and a sticky note was left in the cut place, so it was a proof that he had won this fragrant tree. It is a cutting method like. In addition, it is thought that there may be some people in power when Ranjatai was cut out without leaving a formal record, as there are other cases after it was cut out.

By promoting these things in this way, the legend of Ranjatai spreads to the world, and further legends will be created, such as the name appearing in the literature and the stage after that. The scene that Nobunaga wanted appeared in the previous taiga drama “Kirin ga Kuru”, and you may not even remember it.

Also, at the time of the “Shosoin Exhibition” exhibition, a large wooden box (the size is a small human size, is it very large) to store this fragrant tree is also exhibited, and it is not said that both fragrant trees are profitable. I remember feeling something like an aura. Is it because the faces of the authorities fascinated by this fragrant tree can be seen and hidden, or is it because their thoughts also felt as the weight of the fragrant tree?

Although it is such a big “Ranjatai”, it is a small piece of wood that is several millimeters in size when it is burned in an incense burner. What kind of scent does “Ranjatai”, a fragrant tree that brings immeasurable weight to a few millimeters of wood, smell? I’m getting more and more interested.

The story goes back to the “Beauty Pot”, but in May this year, at Zoujoji Temple in Shiba, Tokyo, a scent ceremony was held by Shino Ryukado to pray for the well-being of Japan and the world.

I’m sure we wouldn’t hear incense while we were alive, so it’s possible to hear incense in this era! Isn’t it great! I was impressed.

There were actually 500 people gathered at Zoujoji Temple, and the incense ceremony was held quietly in a large auditorium, but how about the scent of “Ranjatai”? I’m curious. However, it is a scent to pray for the well-being of Japan and the world. According to the scholar of the 20th generation Yukousai Sogen, who performed the ritual, the scent was very quiet.

It may be difficult to hear incense in the auditorium, but it is unlikely that you will be able to witness that scene of listening to incense trees in the world. The scene was imprinted on my eyes through the TV, but the scent is … Let’s imagine various things lol.

Good luck

Hello everyone. This is Staff M.

Unstable weather continues. I haven’t been able to sleep very deeply due to thunderstorms since last night … Today, I would like to talk about the frustration I felt recently.

If the content of this blog is too dark from the title, I should be worried, so first of all, I recently bought a new lipstick. My hobby has always been collecting lipsticks, and as soon as new products come out, I want them. (smile) However, I was wondering if I would like to talk about the effects of mask life as well as the frustration that I can’t see even if I put on lipstick after the mask life started …

Originally, I have a clumsy personality that I can’t convey my feelings to the other person. Actually, in my heart, even if I think like this, when I actually put it into words, that? I didn’t want to say this, but there are many things.

And it’s frustrating that I can’t see the other person’s facial expression well. To be honest, I used to feel that I was able to convey what I wanted to say by talking while looking at my facial expressions, but it’s been about three years now. Even now that I am getting used to the mask life, I am still struggling to read the feelings of the other person through the mask.

Isn’t it okay to get used to it? You might think that, but this is also difficult. Moreover, when it comes to the phone, a new feeling of “tension” comes out and I can’t talk more.

That’s why I always try to create an environment where the other person can talk easily, and try to make facial expressions, aizuchi, and tone of voice, but I don’t know if that action is being conveyed to the other person. However, being aware that you always think with the feelings of the other person should not at least have a bad result.

After all, what I want to say is that I really hope that the day will come when everyone can talk brightly and brightly while looking at each other’s faces without masks. And I can’t wait to use the lipstick collection again!

Hello everyone. This is Staff N.

It seems that the painting of the artist I went to see before became a limited package of Yebisu beer, and I received N as well.

N can’t drink alcohol, so I just look at the package, but the deep blue is beautiful.

Unfortunately, you can only buy it in some areas such as Kyushu, Shikoku, and Chugoku, so it seems that you can only buy it online here.

It seems that the sales person fell in love with the picture at first sight and realized it.

I’ve always wanted to incorporate paintings into my life, but I’m sad because there aren’t many such works.

There are cute Scandinavian design everyday items such as Rojaco.

There are dresses with Monet’s picture as a motif, Mucha’s sneakers, etc., but I give up because it is flashy and difficult to coordinate and it is a little expensive.

N used to like Monet’s umbrella very much a long time ago, but it was stolen because it was too cute.

The places that are easy to incorporate are the clear files and handkerchiefs of museums.

Smartphone cases are also popular.

I was curious about what kind of museum goods there were, and when I looked it up, I found socks, skateboards, wallpapers, tea cups, and so on.

The idea of using wallpaper instead of decorating a painting is interesting.

In addition, there were some flashy items such as glasses overseas, such as who would wear them.

What I thought was epoch-making recently was that the museum department of a famous mail-order site made tote bags and pouches in which you can put your favorite clear files and postcards.

It’s wonderful that you can customize it in your own way without having to bother to make it.

I don’t get in a car, but I like to see it, so I think it would be interesting if there were more patterns in the car.

So, it’s a little exciting to see an itasha with characters written on it.

There seems to be a book about museum goods, and there seems to be some goods that I don’t know yet.

I would like to brag about cute museum goods on this blog when I get them.

See you soon

Hello everyone. This is Staff M.

Immediately, Saturday, July 23, yesterday was the “great heat” and “day of the Ox” of the 24th solar term. It’s the hottest day of the year on the calendar, but I’ve already experienced nearly 40 degrees Celsius, so yesterday was hot but still tolerable. However, it’s hot when it’s hot.

Why eel on the day of the Ox? At this time of year, I always wonder, and I do the same research every year, but there is a theory that eating eel, which is rich in vitamins and minerals and is effective in relieving fatigue, does not cause heat fatigue, especially in the summer when you are liable to get sick. It’s influential, isn’t it?

So when did the eels have been eaten in the first place … I looked it up, but it was during the Jomon period that eels began to be eaten in Japan. Since eel bones were found in the shell mounds at that time, it is known that eels have been eaten in Japan since ancient times.

In addition, as a powerful ancient affair, a song about eel remains in “Manyoshu” at the end of the Nara period. This is what the poet Otomo Iemochi wrote to a friend, “Eel is good for losing weight in the summer.” In other words, from around this time, eels were recognized as having high nutritional value and being perfect for summer.

Nowadays, there is a strong image that “Day of the Ox” = “Day of the Ox”, but when I looked it up, it seems that there are other food cultures and customs that are unique to “Day of the Ox”. For example, it is recommended to eat foods with “U” other than eel, such as udon, melon, and pickled plums. There are other areas where you can eat loach soup, garlic, and ankoro mochi called “earthen mochi”.

In addition to food, there are also customs such as “drying for soil” and “Ox hot water”. It is said that it is one of the customs that are still practiced to prevent mold and insects from drying in the shade during the summer soil season. In addition, there are some areas where it is customary to take “Oxyu” containing medicinal herbs to prevent heat fatigue. In other words, besides eating eel, it seems that the custom of this time, which is said to be the hottest in the year, has taken root in Japan.

I’ve talked about it so far, but I’m not really good at eels … (laughs) So, with “U” attached, I ate the “cow” that was put on the “Ox” on the day of the Ox, and I was well nourished! The heat will continue, so let’s survive the hot summer, aiming for a well-nourished meal, not just on the day of the Ox! !!

Hello everyone. This is Staff N.

As Staff M said on his blog, “Botero Exhibition” and “Cat Exhibition” I was also interested.

Actually, I thought that Botero’s paintings are more like our round cats than the crisp cats in the cat exhibition.

Speaking of Manmaru cats, do you know the statue of Moriwajin-sensei’s big cat in Okage Yokocho, thanks to Ise Jingu?

Thanks to you, every time I go to Yokocho, I want to take it home! The size, roundness, and smile are so cute that I think.

It seems that there are about 17 statues in total, but there are settings such as parents and children, signboard cats, couples, landlady, and haiku teachers.

If you go to Okage Yokocho, please look for it.

Dr. Moriwajin is an artist born in Japan.

He holds exhibitions in cities around the world such as Calcutta, Seoul, and New York, and is active as a top artist of the creative beckoning cat.

He uses cats as a motif and creates them in any way, regardless of whether they are flat or three-dimensional.

While announcing unique masterpieces such as “Cat God”, “Big Head Cat Life”, “Cat King”, and “Cat King”, which raised the cat to the gods and Buddha, “Big Sleep”, “Ukineko”, and “Cat’s” There are many light and stylish works such as “Ban” and “Atamaga Onsen” that soothe the viewer, and they have an unconventional multifaceted charm.

Dr. Moriwajin, when I looked it up, it seems that he was appearing in the program “The World Unknown To Matsuko”.

He loves cats so much that he designed a cat-motif house himself.

He has also appeared in “Thank You for Creatures!” And “ZIP”.

If I don’t care about money and the eyes of others, I definitely want to build a cat motif house.

It seems that he currently lives in Yamagata prefecture.

It often appears on the cover of catalog mail order life.

Cats are also nice, but this time I thought it was even better on the blog.

In a few lines, it’s accompanied by captivating expressions, abstract and stunning words, a museum-like house, a cute cat, and a mysterious picture.

A lotus pond, a bonfire, a fireplace, a cat sleeping comfortably in the garden, a very enviable life.

I also wanted to write a blog that would catch someone’s heart in a few lines like this, but it’s difficult so I’d like to earn money with letters.

You can also see such Moriwajin works at the Manekineko Museum in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture.

I also wanted to collect Moriwajin works by myself.

At the antique art Fukosha, we also buy cat works.

See you soon

Hello everyone. This is Staff M.

In the pamphlet that Staff Y brought back when he went to the “Jewelry Exhibition” yesterday, there was an exhibition that I was very interested in and wanted to go to.

That is these two.

“Botero Exhibition” and “Cat Exhibition”. I’ve always been interested in the Botero exhibition since it was held in Tokyo! Even just looking at the pamphlet will make you feel like you are attracted to something, or you will feel a sense of intimacy.

In particular, the work I’m most interested in is “Mona Lisa’s profile,” which is also the cover of the pamphlet. The original painting of the famous Leonardo da Vinci has a mysterious atmosphere, but after all, Botero’s Mona Lisa is drawn very plumply from the head to the body. The idea of catching the Mona Lisa from the side is also very unique, but drawing it plumply increases the kindness at once. In addition to this work, I would like to see the actual work up close.

And “Cat Exhibition”. I’m sure Staff N is also interested in this (laughs) Many of our staff love cats.

I also live with a cat, and cat T (14) and cat A (0 years and 9 months old) heal me every day. “What if my cat talks like a human?” I’m sure Cat T will get angry about his daily sloppy life …

At this “Cat Exhibition”, you can enjoy mainly the works of Utagawa Kuniyoshi, an ukiyo-e artist. In the note of the pamphlet, it was written that it was very cute.

“The inside of the venue is a comfortable environment for the drawn cats. It may feel a little cold to humans, so we recommend that you wear clothes that are easy to adjust.”

So cute…

If you are interested in it, why don’t you go to the memories of summer? Speaking of my summer memories … I will talk about it again next time.

BYE.

Hello everyone, this is Staff Y.

I wonder if the children have finally entered the summer vacation, and the children in the neighborhood were catching cicadas in the park from early morning. Looking at the big chorus of the cicadas, I think I was caught quite a bit, but I’m curious about the inside of the insect cage.

The other day, this was also a big chorus of cicadas, but it is being held at the Nagoya City Science Museum in Shirakawa Park in the middle of Nagoya.

I went to a special exhibition “Jewelry, the miracle of the earth”.

Approximately 200 types of gemstones, including rough and loose (polished stones) and jewelry from the world-famous jewelry collection, including Albion art, are on display. It is a content that comprehensively introduces “jewelry” from a scientific and cultural perspective while showing the real thing such as diversity and processing technology.

Earlier, it was held in Nagoya after the opening of Tokyo, but a friend of the museum who always invites me said “I definitely want to go!” I would like to thank my friends and I would like everyone to go, so I recommend you to go ahead. Please come and visit us during the summer vacation, regardless of age or gender.

First of all, when it comes to the feeling of the entrance, it’s a science museum, and I think it’s the glue of the exhibition of research and learning during the summer vacation of elementary school students, but that is suddenly overturned.

A huge amethyst dome with a height of about 2.5 m, which was excavated on the lava plateau in Brazil, suddenly dawns. A large amount of amethyst glitters … The scale is completely buggy. This is the highlight of this exhibition.

The exhibition space is divided into several blocks, and the first is “Chapter 1 Birth of rough stones”. Introducing the environment in which rough rocks are formed, by dividing large specimens of various rocks including rough rocks into four types (igneous rocks, lodes, pegmatites, and metamorphic rocks).

For example, the rough stones found in “igneous rocks” formed by the cooling and solidification of magma are diamonds and peridots. Amethyst and rock crystal are the rough stones found in the “lode”, which is the trace of high-temperature hot water that exists deep underground and rises through cracks in the bedrock. The visuals of rough stones are unique, such as tourmaline, which looks like an artificial object, and malachite, which is round and crystallized like hyphae. In addition, the pallasite meteorite containing peridot is also exhibited as an extraterrestrial rough stone.

There were many other kinds of minerals that I didn’t know about, but it seems that there are more than 5,000 kinds of minerals in the world. In fact, it seems that most of them are not well known, and new minerals may be discovered in the future, so it is possible that the types of minerals will increase.

Even so, I was very worried whether these minerals, a mass of about 50 cm square (maybe it was bigger), could convey this sense of scale, but anyway, it was probably a crane or a forklift that brought it in. Hey lol.

Even so, I was suddenly impressed by the blessings of the ancient earth that produced minerals of various shapes and colors, and mineral lovers are utterly disappointed with the size of the scale.

In the next “Chapter 2 From Gemstones to Gemstones”, we will introduce the processing techniques from mining rough stones to cutting (molding and polishing processes).

For example, we exhibited a process sample of a round brilliant cut (58-sided cut) designed as a cut that maximizes the charm of diamonds, and explained in an easy-to-understand manner how the rough stone becomes a beautiful gem. Therefore, real gems will appear from minerals around here.

And in “Chapter 3 Characteristics and Diversity of Gemstones”, while scientifically explaining the characteristics that are the value standards of gemstones such as “brilliance”, “glitter”, “color” and “strength”, rough (raw stone) and loose (raw stone) Introducing more than 200 kinds of gems, mainly polished stones). As the number of glittering so-called jewelry exhibits increases, girls will sigh here.

You can also learn about the characteristics and variety of each gem, from the four major gems of diamond, sapphire, ruby, and emerald to rare stones such as phosphophyllite and biological gems such as pearls and corals. I can do it.

And I enjoyed the “Hashimoto Collection”, which was collected by antique collector Nuki Hashimoto (1924-2018) at auctions all over the world for 15 years. An exhibition of about 200 rings arranged in chronological order. You can trace the history of jewel cutting for about 4000 years, and it is surprising that people have been dressing their hands with rings since 2000 BC. Moreover, the quality was quite good.

And the last “Chapter 4 Jewelery Techniques”. These exhibits are at the height of jewelery, and the focus is on the technique of setting (tailoring) jewels, which is completely deprived of the soul.

To show that excellent settings add more value to jewelry, the property of royalty and aristocrats, the high jewelry maison “Van Cleef & Arpels” with its head office in Paris, and the jewelry brand “Van Cleef & Arpels” from Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture A lot of gems of artistic design of “Gimmel” were introduced, but since shooting was prohibited in this corner, I can only convey the excitement of my “It was such a great thing!” It’s a pity, but I would like you to actually visit and experience this, so let’s call it around here.

If you are not impressed this summer, please visit the “Jewelry Exhibition” to be deprived of your soul by stones.

Well then, good luck.
